Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.
I am still waiting for my refund as our room was leaking water from the ceiling and walls. We had to lay down all of some sheets to soak up the water in our bedroom. We let management know and they said they would reimburse us the last night which I am still waiting for.
Super quirky place- really loved it. The quality of the people was particularly outstanding.
There are hotels where you simply stay, and then there are those you would go back to in a heartbeat. Townhouse Boutique Hotel sets the bar extremely high. The level of hospitality and the friendliness of the staff is simply unmatched. The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. If we requested ice, it was delivered within minutes. The breakfast was outstanding every morning. The front desk staff checked in with us throughout the day to ensure our stay and departure were pleasant. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had very comfortable beds. The location can't be beat. If we return to Cartagena, this would definitely be our #1 choice hotel.
Excelente ubicación, las habitaciones muy cómodas, el staff muy agradable y el desayuno muy rico
Loved the breakfast it was very tasty. Staff was very attentive, respectful and knowledgeable of questions asked. Housing does a great job. Great location on the heart of it all.
No real pool.
Lovely venue, very modern, great breakfast and lovely roof top bar
Price was quite steep.
Worst sleep ever. This is a hostel - not a hotel. We live in a very busy city in Colombia and are used to noise - but this was something else. Absolutely no soundproofing. The rooftop bar goes until 3am, and it is LOUD. We were on the 2nd floor ( poor people on the 4th and 3rd), and despite pushing the provided earplugs in as deep as they could go we heard every beat. Finally at 3:00am the music stopped - at 6am people were yelling outside and at 7am the staff were getting ready for breakfast on the rooftop. Electricity was out at 5am - meaning we could not elevate the electric window shades. We dressed in the dark , packed our bags and left for a beautiful and quiet hotel opposite this hotel. I wish we had read the reviews before booking here. What a disappointment.
I can't say enough about this place. A charming little gem conveniently located in the heart of Cartagena's Old Town, within easy walking distance of great shops, restaurants, cathedrals, etc. The rooftop bar and restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and is a lively spot for happy hour and late-night partying. But what really sets this place apart is the staff and the service they provide. We were traveling with a friend who required special assistance on a couple of occasions, and the Townhouse staff jumped in and saved the day without a moment's hesitation nor a whisper of complaint. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating and thoroughly pleasant throughout. I owe them a tremendous thanks!
Loud and unfriendly staff. Terrible food. Tacky AF
Charming and comfortable hotel located in the historical walled old city. Our room #301 - Flaming was very spacious with two queen beds, impeccably clean, with a charming balcony overlooking the street. The whole building has been thoroughly refurbished and equipped with modern amenities. The staff is super responsive and all communication with the front desk happens via WhatsApp. There is a charming rooftop bar, which serves breakfast. Breakfast food was delicious and it is served until 12PM, which is great for late starters. Fully recommend this hotel.
Fabulous location for a family visit to Cartagena! We enjoyed the Townhouse hotel immensely, and found the setup ideal for a family with kids, by booking one of the 2-bedroom/2 bathroom suites (we splurged and even booked the one with the private deck and dining pool). The hotel's location is excellent - in the center of old town, extremely close to where many walking tours meet up and close to tons of shops and restaurants. The rooftop restaurant has great views, a delicious breakfast (included in most rates), and good food during the afternoon and evening as well. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly, and you can use WhatsApp to contact them for anything you need. I found the level of assistance to be like having speed dial to a concierge team who would take care of anything! We asked for help with airport transportation each way (highly recommend doing this), and we also decided to go to the sister property (Blue Apple Beach Club) for a lunch and early afternoon at the beach on one of our days. The Townhouse team set up the boat transfers and reserved loungers for the whole family - all included in our daily rate already! This was a great way to get out on the water and have some time in the sun at the beach, enjoying a lovely less urban setting with great food and a bigger pool (and a beach) - without having to spend 8-10 hours in a boat going from place to place like many of the tours advertised all over the city. The housekeeping team is excellent as well, and our rooms felt squeaky clean on arrival and after each daily cleaning. The internet wifi worked very well and was fast - and my kids could watch movies in the evening with ease. The air conditioning also worked very well. Compared to an equivalent experience in the United States (or at a major international brand hotel in Cartagena), the value for what we paid was excellent. We really liked being in the old town, instead of at one of the large hotels in Boca Grande, as one could pop in and out to walk in the old town so easily, and it felt safe in old town. Also, we didn't take a taxi at all during our stay - except for to and from the airport. Any downsides? I can only think of two. One - that if you are a light sleeper, and you don't like to wait to go to bed after midnight, then this might not be the hotel for you from Thursday-Saturday, when the rooftop bar is open til midnight and is quite noisy. Bring white noise machines (or use the provided earplugs by the bedside), or just plan to stay up til midnight! That said, if you are coming specifically for quiet, this might not be your place. I myself don't like noisy rooms - but found I could sleep with the white noise machine going, and that the noise really went way down after midnight. The second drawback would be if you specifically want a medium-large pool in your hotel (or a full gym in your hotel), then you might not be thrilled, as the rooftop pools are more for dipping than for swimming. I'd advise you to get your exercise walking (or running) in the old town instead! The online pics were accurate - just look at the website to get a good sense of the different kind of rooms. And if you have specific needs, ask the team and they will let you know if they can make it happen, before you book. If you do book, you'll get the most original booking confirmation I have ever received from a hotel. Trust me... book and you'll see what I mean!
Excellent hotel. Laura at reception welcomes you warmly with refreshing costeñitas to start your stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the sunset view is stunning, and the drinks are delicious. Highly recommended
A well located hotel with a refined and well kept appearance. The food was of good quality and daily housekeeping was consistently maintained. The rooms have a distinct style and are comfortable. Lau provided attentive and efficient service, and the staff as a whole were courteous throughout. A thoroughly pleasant stay
Rooms are small without windows. There was a small machine trying to kill the bad smell, but it was really humid and tiny without the sun or windows. Staff was not cooperative.
Nestled in the heart of the old town, full Of colour and brightness, the Townhouse masterpiece is the Rooftop. Here, evening upon evening the sun sets behind the Cathedral dome - at least in January - offering a stunning backdrop to the day. The location also serves as the breakfast room where Colombian delights ranging from fruit to eggs start your day along with good coffee. The staff too make for the most relaxing and hospitable atmosphere too… Dainis, and Jessica to name two. The rooms fulfil the understanding of boutique and my particular view on to Carrera street was an insight into a pleasant business that was never rowdy. The Townhouse is a super place to stay if you’re ever in Cartagena
I had a great stay at Townhouse. From the beginning, the service was warm and welcoming. Laura, Yesith, and Marie at the front desk were very kind, helpful, and always ready to give good advice and recommendations, which really made a difference. The cleanliness was excellent and everything felt well taken care of. At times, you can hear a bit of street noise, but the place is so comfortable that you can still rest and sleep well. It’s a place with character, good energy, and a really nice vibe. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back
The hotel is beautiful full of art with well thought out spaces and a calm stylish feel. Everything was very clean and being welcomed with a local beer was a simple but thoughtful touch. The reception team were genuinely warm especially Laura who was lovely and shared great recommendations. The rooftop has a stunning view and the bar staff were friendly and easy to chat with. Overall it was a great experience. Comfortable welcoming and definitely a place I would stay at again.
The hotel is located on a quiet block yet it is centrally located to all the action. The breakfast (included with the room), served on the rooftop deck was a delicious and perfect way to start the day. The rooms are beautiful and whimsical! Excellent value for the price! Also....best reservation confirmation email ever!
Lau was amazing! She is more than just a person who works the front desk but an Ambassador for all things Townhouse and Cartagena. She was able to get us a free (pay what you like) tour and it was probably one of the best tours ever. She was great with directions and whatever we needed she was right there. The welcome beer was an added elevated touch. Not only will I stay there again but highly recommend. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom which is always an extra plus. The entire place was super clean.
The hotel is perfectly located in the old town, but what really stood out was the service. The reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they even greeted us with a welcome beer. We had to leave very early the next morning and couldn’t take the breakfast, but they prepared sandwiches for us to take on the road, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooftop bar is a highlight on its own: great vibes, great drinks, and amazing views over Cartagena. Overall, just a genuinely cool place with people who truly care. Highly recommended.
Townhouse was great. From the moment i arrived, Laura welcomed me with a costeñita (the local beer) and made me feel at home right away. She was super attentive the whole time, and Yasi and Maria at the front desk were just as helpful. If you’re ever unsure about what to do, they always have great recommendations and guide you without hesitation. The hotel itself has such a nice, cozy style, and you can tell they take care of every detail. Breakfast was delicious, and the room service was really fast, which i loved. Everything is managed through whatsapp too, so communication is super easy. Overall, it is a place where you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend it and i’ll for sure be coming back
We did not stay at this hotel but ate at the rooftop bar. The bar was super cute and the food was awesome. I loved the eggplant “kebobs” and my husband loved the fish tacos.
I really loved my stay here. From the very start, the service was excellent especially Laura and Majo at the front desk, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready with great recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, high quality options that made every morning start off great. And the beautiful art around the hotel gives the whole place such a warm and unique atmosphere. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it
The Townhouse Boutique Hotel in Cartagena delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ran into a few booking issues before arriving, but Jesse and Laura at the front desk solved everything within minutes. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly set the tone for my stay. For my fellow Americans — you’ll be pleased to know that most of the staff speak fluent English, and communication here is effortless. My room was modern, clean, and full of personality. I loved the creative art pieces, clever layout, and little high-tech touches that made the space both stylish and comfortable. Despite not being overly large, it felt cozy and well thought out. The rooftop bar was easily the highlight of my stay. Located on the 5th floor, it offers a refreshing escape from Cartagena’s heat with cool coastal breezes and a relaxed vibe. The menu was exactly what I was hoping for — great drinks, good food, and excellent service. The staff up there were friendly, quick, and attentive to every guest. Overall, The Townhouse Boutique Hotel perfectly combines modern comfort, artistic flair, and outstanding service. I’d absolutely stay here again.
My stay at Hotel Townhouse was excellent. The entire team offers amazing service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and the rooftop, which has such a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Laura for being so helpful and attentive. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to
The townhouse is always a great choice when staying in the wall city. I will return again.
Easy access to almost everything.
Centrally located with a boutique vibe I loved. The rooftop is a gem, and the staff is truly 5-star.
This was my second stay at Townhouse. The location is perfect - located in the old walled city and walking distance to Getsemani - and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable with great AC (not everywhere in Cartegena has that!). I loved having the rooftop bar close by. There is a convenience store half a block away for essentials like sunscreen and snacks and loads of restaurants.
Boutique hotel with an elevator. Rooftop bar is gorgeous. Beautiful artwork throughout.
Loved it!!!
Only communication is by whatzup and front desk staff very rude they don’t want to help. Has to ask them to make my bed they forgot lol
Loved, loved this place! Excellent service, scrumptious food, clean, and the staff is super attentive. So much to do and is all near by. About ten minutes from the airport. Will stay here again ❤️
Wonderful terrace.. nice staff and great food!!
Las camas muy cómodas
Townhouse Boutique was great, the staff was awesome and very helpful, rooms were clean and the property is located in a great area.
Me encantó este hotel! Es increíble.
We rolled in off the street because it felt right, and headed to the rooftop. As soon as we arrived upstairs, I knew we made a great choice. Amazing vibe, panoramic views of the city, rustic elegant decor, great/friendly staff - especially Javier and Maria - really a perfect happy-hour and sunset hang. Breezy and beautiful. Great tunes; eclectic, deep house. (And I am difficult to please when it comes to music). The food was good too, particularly the fish tacos, and so were the drinks. Could not recommend this place more.
Best place to stay in Cartagena by far. I had an amazing time.
Excelente localização, perto de supermercados, de atrações como o baluarte de São Domingos, do museu do Gabriel Garcia , perto de restaurantes . O meu quarto no primeiro andar facilitou bastante , mesmo tendo elevador, ar condicionado ok , banheiro ok, camas ok. Funcionários solícitos deram boas dicas.
Convenient comfy nice design clean and fun
Very nice hotel close to everything.
This property has a lot to offer. The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and have in-unit AC. The rooftop bar is cute and charming at sunset. The location is fantastic, right in the center of their city. The streets are active in the summer (all day and all night). The complementary breakfast is delicious (and you can call it in via room service for no extra charge). The only thing to consider is that the walls are thin, but with all the activities in Cartagena, you will sleep like a rock!
Trendy hotel centrally located in walled city. Nice size and clean room with city view. The room was updated with flooring, colorful walls which gave the tropical look. The shower with the rainfall shower heads was exceptional! There are a lot of other cool and trendy features in the room, but very practical for all types of folks - family, couples, and friends. Lau at the front desk was outstanding! She was very helpful with our check in process, quickly responded to all of our requests, and was helpful locating specialty shops in the area. Lau spoke both English and Spanish. She always greeted us with a smile, and was very responsive with everything. Excellent customer service Lau! The excellent customer service extended with the rooftop restaurant staff. We ate breakfast and dinner at the rooftop restaurant and found a great selection of entries. All of the entries we ate were delicious! The hotel definitely has the trendy hip vibe for a younger crowd looking to party. But in my opinion it’s convenient and practical for couples and families with young teens.
Stayed with my teenage kids. Friendly staff. Super kind and helpful. Great location. Spacious room. Breakfast was delivered every morning to my room.
Great location with a rooftop lounge area. The room with the private plunge pool was amazing. I’d definitely stay again.
The hotel was in a central location to the activities that we were doing in my group. The concept of the hotel was cute but there were things that made my experience less than desirable. I had issues with my room such as the tv not working, the safe not working, the ac leaking, the smoke alarm going off when I would take a shower and a random beeping nose that constantly went off during the last night of my stay. I also found the towels and linens to be dingy and stained. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The food in the bar was pretty good.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff was great!
Amazing hotel!! Private, safe, quiet but close to the action. Friendly staff and amazing amenities. Perfect spot to relax but also hit the walled city and all the action close by.
This is our second time visiting Cartagena and our first with Townhouse. We visited for their brunch the first time and loved the vibe and great food. Staying here was next level - the rooms are unique and well thought out, the extras (endless water, sarin robes, ear plugs, etc) make it feel they took time to understand their guests. Maybe the best part is the location. We would walk throughout the walled city and quickly walk back to our room for water, a quick refresh, bathrooms, and be out walking the city again in minutes. When we come to visit again we will absolutely be choosing this hotel!
I booked this “boutique hotel” in hopes of rest, charm, and maybe some soft lighting. Instead, I accidentally enrolled in a week-long bootcamp titled: “Surviving Cartagena: Noise Edition.” Let’s start with the walls, which are made of equal parts enthusiasm and air. I didn’t hear my neighbors — but I did hear everything happening in the hallway. Voices, footsteps, slamming doors — all of it came straight through the front door of the room as if it were wide open. Now the rooftop bar. It kicks off around noon and gradually evolves into an earthquake simulator by nightfall. The music vibrates through floors, walls, and possibly dimensions. I’m 95% sure my toothbrush danced off the sink on day two. The bar staff? Fantastic. Friendly, fast, and somehow unfazed by the building trying to shake itself loose. And yes, the food is expensive… but the snacks were actually quite good. But don’t worry — you won’t accidentally sleep through it. Because at 7:00 a.m. sharp, the construction team arrives to remind you that silence is for cowards. We’re talking jackhammers. Full orchestral chaos. The kind of sound you feel in your teeth. I raised my concerns — specifically about the construction noise outside the hotel starting at 7:00 a.m. every morning. What I got in return was a vague apology that sounded like it was written by a chatbot raised on customer service scripts. Room change? Nope. Free cocktail? Not unless I dreamed it. Empathy? Out of office. Privacy? Optional. No “Do Not Disturb” sign, which is appropriate — because this place firmly believes in disturbance as a lifestyle. Housekeeping visits are frequent, surprising, and vaguely suspenseful. Towels? Water? A pop quiz? Who knows. However, the cleaning staff were always friendly and kind. And just when you think you’ve adjusted… the air conditioner speaks. Not hums. Speaks. It groans, rattles, and occasionally roars like a small aircraft doing breathing exercises. It doesn’t cool the room — it dominates it. You’ll have to choose: heatstroke or takeoff. The room itself: - A/C louder than my inner monologue - Shower that takes several minutes to consider warming up - Breakfast so small I considered eating the plate — and to be clear, I’m talking about the included hotel breakfast The location is central — in the way a festival main stage is “central.” Vendors, shouting, ambient chaos. Hotel staff watch quietly, possibly in another timezone. Bottom line: This isn’t a boutique hotel. It’s a full-volume sensory experience disguised as accommodation. If you're 22, powered by tequila, and think sleep is optional – you’ll thrive. If you're over 30 and enjoy things like silence, privacy, or functioning eardrums – look elsewhere. One star – for the heroic bar staff, the solid snacks, the kind cleaners, and the personal growth that comes from being awake for seven nights in a row. And if this review sounds slightly dramatic… try writing one after a week without sleep.
Hotel en excelente ubicación, el staff es muy amable y más habitación son muy amenas, limpias y muy cómodas. La terraza y su ambiente es perfecto para pasar un buen rato en Cartagena
The hotel is fine. In a busy area. Could benefit from a phone in the room to communicate with reception and a small fridge for guests.
Really cool trendy place to stay. We had a private plunge pool on our balcony that really helped to beat the heat of the day!
The rooftop bar staff were genuinely great – friendly and efficient. The snacks were surprisingly satisfying. The location is central, if you don’t mind stepping right into a street market the moment you exit.
This place should consider closing as a hotel and rebranding as a nightclub. Rooftop music kicks in at noon, construction work starts at 7 a.m., and the hallway noise travels through the doors like there's no barrier at all. No "Do Not Disturb" signs means housekeeping rings in like it’s room service roulette. The A/C sounds like an engine doing vocal warm-ups, and the included breakfast looks like a minimalist art piece. Zero rest, zero response to complaints, zero compensation.
Townhouse boutique was AMAZING! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Lau the front desk was super helpful and so polite. Rafael on the rooftop bar was so kind and so nice. This hotel was perfect for me and my mom not to mention close to everything. I loved the communication they had with me (updating me via msg on events happening here in the hotel) Not to mention free breakfast which was delicious for the nights we stayed here. (They have a free glass of wine 7-8 pm) Overall great stay and highly recommend.
Second time here, it an amazing hotel! I would recommend everyone to book here! The staff is so wonderful and kind, Laura is the sweetest and so helpful to us at the desk! The rooftop was amazing and the breakfast was delicious! I am already planning when I can come back!
Very clean rooms, great location.
Excellent property
This gorgeous boutique hotel is exactly as pictured. The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast (included) is delicious. The hotel has been thoughtfully designed so it is a really harmonious experience being there. A huge bonus is their sister resort, the Blue Apple on Tierra Bomba island. Guests of the Townhouse don't pay a day pass fee for travel to and from and use of Blue Apple's facilities. There is a port fee to pay (if I remember correctly it was about $80 for four people), and you do pay for your food and drink, but this was a wonderful surprise for us, as we'd expected to pay $80 - $100 each for a day pass to an island resort for a beach day. Also good to know: the old city in Cartagena is a boisterous place, but the hotel's windows/doors are very soundproof, so we always slept soundly. Anyhow, 10/10!
We really enjoyed our stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel! It's inside the walled city so you are close to EVERYTHING. My room was clean and bright. The food was good as well. Also, every staff member was polite and accommodating. My only complaint is that my bathroom was super small. We had a hard time maneuvering around in it. You basically have to step into the shower to close and open the door while in there. The space is entirely too small for a regular door. A pocket door is what's needed. I still would not hesitate to stay there again. One bonus was that you can take a boat to their sister resort on an island for free. You only have to pay the $4 port tax and food and drinks while there. The staff and food on the island were just as good!
A la ubicación le doy 10 de 10 puntos, esta estratégicamente ubicado. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba muy bien, fue lo único pero en general muy buena opción por el precio
We loved this place: welcoming and helpful staff, large suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, great mattresses and pillows, decent wifi, perfect location in the heart of Cartagena, nice balconies, great (even if tiny ) rooftop bar with a relaxing view on the roofs of Cartagena and an everlasting breeze with gorgeous sundowners. Stuff was very responsive to our requests and with a what-can-l-do-for-you attitude. The rooftop bar feels like a secret heaven where u can escape to chill out from the buzz of the streets or from a long day out at the beach or at the islands. I definitely recommend this place and would be my go to hotel should I come back to Cartagena.
Great place to stay and amazing staff ! Very central location !
Laura Maria, our key staff member, was amazing. She made everything about our experience perfect. This was our favorite hotel during our trip and I can’t recommend it enough! The rooftop restaurant and bar was lovely and has great food and atmosphere. We also spent two days at their sister hotel, Blue Apple, which is a wonderful Certified B Corps, and very thoughtful about its food and overall footprint on the world.
This place is amazing. My significant other and I always felt comfortable from the day we arrived until we left. Every time we left to explore the city, we came back to our room always clean, new sheets, fresh towels and bed made. Room service was impeccable and fast. We definitely enjoyed the rooftop breakfast and lunch (dinner was done at restaurants around the city). The service was friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel was centered around everything ranging from restaurants to street vendors to shows and even for money exchange centers. We asked to be picked up from the airport (which is only 15 min drive away) and dropped off for a small fee. All staff was accommodating and did not have any trouble communicating through WhatsApp. Definitely booking another stay here!
I really would have loved to give this hotel 5 stars, however due to 2 issues I can not. I will start by saying our actual suite room was modern, spacious, clean and exactly what was pictured. The only form on communication with the front desk staff is via WhatsApp and they are very responsive. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and during our stay the elevator was “out of service” for a majority of our time. However, since the elevator is glass you could see it being used by the workers to bring items up to the rooftop at times during this period. The reason we picked this hotel compared to ours in the area was because I was traveling with my older mother and they had an elevator. Out of our 4 days there, here was only 2 times when the elevator was working. Since the morning breakfast was on the roof, she was not able to walk all the way up there and utilize that amenity. In addition, one day there was construction “maintenence” that started before 8am. There was no notification that this would be occurring the night before and therefore we were woken up to hammering. If it weren’t for this two issues, our stay otherwise was good.
Fantastic property, rooms are very clean and lovely. Very well located in the Old City. Staff is fantastic and very willing to help. The rooftop bar is fun and has a lovely view the sunset. Some street/bar noise at lower level but not bothersome.
Overall property was good, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Loved the rooftop restaurant with a live DJ everyday around 1PM. Disappointed with the pool as it was in the restaurant area and quite small. Felt awkard getting in so it was a pass for us. Looked much larger in the pictures.
This property was beautiful. The staff was top tier. From the welcoming and the communication throughout the stay. This included an amazing breakfast for two! Highly recommend. The room was beautiful. And they say the room doesn’t include balcony but our room had the little balcony covered in beautiful colorful flowers that overlooked the street. Best arepas right outside the door, that start at 5pm! Well worth the extra money for the amazing experience .
Our family really enjoyed the location of the hotel. We also enjoyed the supper club experience. On Friday and Saturday night, it is very noisy and there is bar downstairs that is very loud. Overall our experience was good, I liked the intimate feeling of the smaller hotel and being able to communicate via WhatsApp with the staff was great
Great location. Staff was nice and communicated before and during the stay. Hotel was nice and clean. Rooftop is a nice addition. Only this is there is a club below so it's kind of loud, however we were so tired we passed right out.
The property is nice, and safe. The menu is a bit limited but yummy, for a quick bite.

Amazing from the room to service can’t fault anything Reception staff were so helpful Roof top bar served daily breakfast which was delicious I would recommend this hotel every time
The hotel is cool and the top terrace is fun with delicious treats. Beware of the checkin they try to get photographs and have you write your full credit card number and details in a sheet of paper, a dangerous play. They should do a pre authorization not this crazy 1980’s process.
A Wonderful Stay! I had an amazing stay at [Hotel Name]! The hotel was not only Instagram-worthy but also super safe and walkable, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative, always ready to help with recommendations. The food at the hotel was delicious, offering a great variety for every taste. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience with a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and great service!
The property was well appointed: all the amenities of home. Staff was amazing and friendly!
Great staff, perfect location and nice hotel
Laura and Maria helped me to arrange a snorkeling tour with diving planet.org. Both were patient and committed to find me the best experience following a group tour in Colombia. Also helpful with locating the best coffee, etc. Townhouse Boutique is special and I would recommend it to everyone.
Absolutely wonderful staff. They were extremely accommodating with all of our needs. Very convenient location. You could walk everywhere! The hotel was so comfortable. Beds were amazing. Must checkout the rooftop!! Laura and MaJo were great.
You have check in twice first through what’s app then in person , same info passport ,credit card. Twice for no reason also they seem to be understaffed, one girl was helping 3-4 gust at a time maybe they were at lunch but took to long to check in.
Lovely hotel with a nice rooftop for drinks/brunch. Amazing service from Laura, Majo y Maximo at reception. Would recommend if you’re looking for a great location in the heart of the walled city. Brilliant atmosphere for younger couples/groups.
I love the Great location, the 2 bedroom suite is so spacious, roof top is great, breakfast is very good. The staff from the front desk, cleaning people and wait staff at the rooftop are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay there!
We had an amazing time. The staff was incredible. Very attentive. Anything you needed and you asked for within minutes. Laura and Camila at the reception were great. Service definitely above and beyond. It has a great location. We also visited the sister property, Blue Apple and excellent service. Antonio was great, took care of us the whole day. Thank you again
HANDS DOWN, BEST HOTEL EVER!!! From the minute we walked in we were welcome with open arms. The staff is amazingly friendly, specially Laura and everyone else, whose names I don't remember. 🤦🏻♀️ Our room was bigger than expected, fully equipped with everything you need while vacationing. We paid for the Free Breakfast option and it did not disappoint. Even though we were away from the hotel before restaurant open, they were friendly enough to bring up our "cold breakfast the night before. I mean, superb customer service. We definitely be returning to Cartagena and our little peace of heaven, this hotel.
Amazing staff. Very attentive. The hotel was immaculate.
Our stay at Townhouse was exceptional! The staff took care of getting us from the airport, a late night check-in, making sure we knew where our excursion meet points were and offered tips on places to check out. The rooftop is stunning and the breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommend going to Members Only, the bar on the lobby floor, as the drinks were spot-on and the music was well curated. Rooms were comfortably cool, water pressure was perfect and the whole establishment was so clean and well designed. Would 100% recommend and plan on coming back! PS- Also check out Blue Apple Beach Club, who shares an owner with Townhouse. If you want a respite from the bustle of Old Town, this beach spot is only 20 minutes away by boat and you get all the hospitality of the hotel plus a pool, ocean views and cool Caribbean breeze!
My first trip to Cartagena and The Townhouse Boutique Hotel helped make it a spectacular time. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and super helpful. The room was immaculate and the room attendants were efficient and responsive. The rooftop area was a lot of fun and there was almost always a nice breeze while I was there. The food was tasty and the drinks delicious. Thanks to Camila and the entire team for a great stay!
Nice room but too much noise. Party central. On 2nd floor could hear the party noise for hours coming from the first floor until 1am. Breakfast was good. Not sure I would recommend it for a mature patron.
We loved this hotel. The rooftop. The location. The staff. Everything!!
Great stay, loved the penthouse
You could order breakfast in the room,. The staf were very nice.
The Townhouse was lovely. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for everything.
I will be recommending Townhouse Boutique Hotel to any friends or family making a future trip to Cartagena. The hotel was modern, fun, clean and comfortable. Every staff member was very friendly and the front desk was always very quick to respond to any requests and questions. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was fantastic - great delicious options and great value - way better than your typical continental breakfast! We made good use of the rooftop pool, which served as a much-needed cool down after exploring the city in the heat. The rooms were well-serviced every day and the shower had great pressure and never-ending hot water! Excellent stay all around!
