Room was really really hot at all times which made it hard to sleep. Service was great though and everyone was so helpful
The room did the job. The breakfast/food available was not great. The staff turned off the AC in our room every time we left so we’d get back and the room would be boiling. The reception staff were very nice. In a great spot for exploring Paris and lots of restaurants and lots of food/fruit stands close.
Great location. Helpful staff.
Good location, and good service
Very friendly staff, quieter area off Boulevard St. Germaine. We just walked everywhere and found plenty of dining nearby.
I enjoyed the property with just a few exceptions. No hot pots in rooms for coffee, my particular roomed smelled like tobacco which led me to ask for room spray which didn’t do much and the walls are pretty thin so you hear everything in the room next to you. Good things were the water was good and hot the air conditioning worked very well and the windows opened nicely and beds were comfortable. The staff we had was nice.
Excellent hotel in the heart of Paris, only a 5mn walk from St Placide metro stop, plenty of dining options within walking distance. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.
Very helpful staff, nice boutique hotel walked to all the major places and easy access to metro line
This hotel and the staff were excellent. I adored the front desk staff Savion, Leticia, Helen etc., they were so kind and helpful. They made me feel like I was a special guest. The rooms are clean and when I needed extra blankets the staff attended to my needs very quickly. The area is beautiful. I live in Beverly Hills so I’m used to beautiful streets. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. I will stay there again and again. I absolutely loved this hotel.
I truly loved this hotel. The hotel staff during the day were so great to help us. The hotel room was clean and in a great area. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel was adorable! We love the old fashioned feel, even the key to the door. The bed was comfortable and the staff was kind. We loved that we could easily walk everywhere and wished we could have stayed longer.
The morning staffs were helpful. The hotel manager,Amandine was very pleasant. Emailed me after check in to make sure we are fine. The location is great, easy access to thw metro. Although the male night conceirge was a stand offish to us in several occasion but
Great customer service
I would have liked one channel on the TV in English. No wash cloths.
J'ai aimer le lit très confortable et la tranquillité des lieux
Had a good stay, room was cleaned and friendly staff
The hotel is in a great location and the facilities and staff are very good. Our bathroom didn't have a window or ventilation and smelt very damp. The grouting was covered in black mildew and would have benefited from a thorough scrubbing.
Wonderful hotel, amazing location to St. Placide, great front desk, staffed at all hours. Just wonderful experience. Thank you so much for making Paris special.
Best location for sightseeing in Paris, great restaurants, shopping and markets to choose from. If we return to Paris, I will opt to stay here again.
This property is in a neighborhood that mostly serves locals or French travelers but is quiet close to the center of Paris. The restaurants and patisseries are good and it is two blocks from bon Marché my favorite food store and department store in Paris. The staff speak enough English to get you what you need. The room was clean and most importantly, the air conditioning was good. We didn’t eat the breakfast because there are such good choices locally for less.
Most of the staff was nice and the bed was decent. I don’t think I have any other positive things to say about this hotel. It didn’t feel clean. We ran out of toilet paper in our room and when I went to get some from the front desk I’m pretty sure he ran up to an empty room and grabbed a used roll. The bathroom had mold around the window. Stains on the carpet. And this may be petty but I didn’t care for the room key situation. They use real keys on an obnoxious key chain and then expect you to turn it in to the front desk every time you leave so they can hold on to it for you.

Prime location and perfect for a walk any way you go!
Great hotel. Good sized room and bathroom for Paris. Shower, not tub. Air conditioning! Friendly staff. Quick walk to Bon Marche food hall. Supermarket across the road, and lots of neighborhood shops close by rather than tourist shops
Convinient located friendly staff
Excellent location
Hotel was in a quiet area but close to the saint placide subway station. Easy walk to Luxembourg gardens. There are restaurants on the main streets all around .The hotel is a mid range hotel . it worked for us
Convenient for walking to many of the sights we wanted to visit. Great food options nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location and loved the sitting areas, staff and wine machine. A very good sized room for Paris!
Lovely hotel, great location, helpful friendly staff, nice room that was cleaned daily. Will definitely book to stay again.
The room was very nice and a little bigger than most European hotels. It was a charming room. The paint was peeling a little on the bathroom ceiling but it did not detract from the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Staff was excellent and friendly. You cannot beat the location for easy access to the Seine, St. Germaine des Pres and Montparnasse. Would definitely stay there again.
Did exactly what we needed. Crashpad while we toured as much as possible in 3 days. Staff was very helpful. Great street, walkable to metro easily. Great room conditions for sure. Would stay again.
The room was MUCH smaller than we expected from the pictures. Yes dimensions of the room were provided but it's difficult to visualize. The staff was helpful when needed. Breakfast was not provided as in many other European hotels and was €16 per person which seemed excessive for what was available. I was fairly close to several different Metro stops which made it reasonably convenient.
Comfy bed. Good staffs
This hotel was the perfect little spot for our time in Paris. It was in a quiet part of the city with a 3 minute walk to the metro. The staff was extremely kind and the breakfast every morning was a nice start to the day. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
Central to all the sights
Walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and shopping
The staff is very helpful and friendly and hotel was very clean
Nice hotel but small traditional parisian room Close to metro, restaurants Nice staff
This hotel is in a decent location, a few blocks from metro. Close to a selection of restaurants, where you can get a breakfast for cheaper than at hotel. Only downside that is unusual is you have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave the property.
Really lovely hotel in a wonderful part of Paris. The hotel was clean and the staff were always welcoming. We very much enjoyed that the hotel had a small drinks area with a wine vending machine, and a small courtyard for coffee. A lot of thoughtful touches.
Very convenient to everything.
I did not enjoy this stay. The hotel is very old. Old carpet and old wall paper. The room was so dark even I had all the lights turned on. The pictures on expedia website make the hotel looked a lot nicer. They used small bottles of shampoos and not given on the second day. No hair conditioner. Lotions were watery. Soap bars for shower. We ended up going to nearby grocery store to buy our own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Tissue box was half empty when we arrived so it was empty fast. Front desk was very small with one receptionist. Need to give the room key to the receptionist every time leaving the hotel. Breakfast area very small. I paid over $250usd per night for this hotel so I wasn't happy. But it was too late to do anything and I won't let it ruin my vacation! Will not stay here again!
The hotel is very well located close to many amenities and restaurants. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Good hotel for somewhere to just have as a place to go back to at end of the day.
Location is very good. There are many cafe and restaurants in the area. The hotel is very close to metro, and walking distance to some of the touristy places. Staff is nice. The room rate is reasonable. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The room is clean and new. The only thing I don’t like is the bathrooom. It is a bit dated and with slight urine smell.
Il faudrait remplacer des tuiles brisées dans la douche.
The property was a smaller establishment and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, however the room size was small and tight. Food service was good for the price but limited and repeated daily. Cleanliness of the room was adequate, however after the 2nd day, housekeeping services seemed to languish. By the third day, towels were not replenished, even though we had used the same towels for the 1st 2 days, and the fourth day, only one bath towel and a hand towel were provide for the 2 of us. Additionally by the fourth day we ran out of toilet paper and used tissue paper until the next day when the empty spindle was replenished with a used roll with less than a full roll of paper!
Enjoyable stay, good location, comfortable and friendly staff.
Excellent staff, great location and efficient rooms.
Hotel De Sevres was ideally placed within a lovely area of Paris . Close to varied small shops & lovely little restaurants. A short walk to the metro stations which was perfect . The staff were very helpful . The room was clean & comfortable, and tea/ coffee was available in the downstairs lounge all day from 1pm til 11pm. A tv in the room, but no English speaking channel available .
Nice little spot in Paris. Nice staff.
Very low-key destination with incredible pricing this is the kind of hotel that you use as a dormitory after all who spends much time in a room in Paris?
Front desk is not really friendly, not coffee maker in room neither in lobby as usual, the man in front desk who was doing the breakfast tell us have to pay for a cup of coffee really rude. I understand that we have to pay for breakfast but it is extreme that force the guest to pay for breakfast by denying a cup of coffee, unacceptable.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Sevres! My room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I loved being able to let in fresh air, and the bed was comfortable after a long day of walking. I did not try the breakfast, but I appreciated the nespresso machine, hot water kettle (with tea bags), and small chocolates available in the afternoon through the evening. I took advantage of those each evening after returning from the day’s activities. The location is also great with many restaurants, shops, and metro/bus stops nearby yet also the immediate block around the hotel is quiet. Definitely recommend!
Clean room and bathroom, quiet area, 5-7 min walk to subway, dinning options. Friendly staff.
Excellent location!!!
The reception staff were very nice. We not too happy with housekeeping, they do not replenished toiletries properly. There was even a time when we have to request for towels.
It was a great experience. We will definitely use Hotel De Sèvres again when we visit Paris in the future. The location, the service, the room, everything was hands down super good.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is great w metro a 5 min walk.
Very close to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Walk distance to metro and Montparnasse. Safe and quiet place. Excellent place to stay.
Hotel is good but need some love. Is located on a fabulous area with many pharmacies, restaurants and else, and is on a quiet street. We felt safe all the time and staff were very attentive and kind. However, not every room is as the photos here and we first got an ugly one, nothing like the photos. It was dark, small and outdated. Thankfully staff were able to change our room and we got one cute. Bathroom in both rooms needed some improvement, ex: toilet was stained and didn't looked cleaned, shower curtain had mold at the bottom. Nonetheless , I recommend staying here because you get what you pay for. If they can improve a few things it would be definitely a 5 star review.
Very comfortable room and comfortable bed at a reasonable price. Staff at check in was very helpful. Evening staff not really able to suggest restaurants in the area. Easy walk to St Placide metro and Le Bon Marche. A good value.
Very nice hotel.
Nice cozy room. Could use an update to the shower and carpet.
Very small rooms. Had to give up room key to front desk every time leaving the building. Expensive breakfast option. Ok value for the money.
Great location and nice staff
Amazing stay, small room but perfect for what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend, and stay again. Also a great location when looking to explore everything Paris has to offer.
We stayed as a 4-person family in the 2 bedroom “apartment” for 5 nights. The room was clean and spacious, with a double bed in one bedroom, a single bed in another bedroom and the couch converts into a comfortable double bed. The converted-couch may have been bigger and more comfortable than the double bed (even though the double bed was really quite comfortable). The kitchen had a 2-burner hot plate (induction), a fridge with a freezer, plates, cutlery and glasses. The cooking pots were very limited (only one small pot), but we mostly just used the frying pan to cook eggs for breakfast (we ate lunch and dinners out). The location was amazing- a wonderful bakery 1 minute walk away, a carrefour grocery store 1 minute walk away, and very easy access to the subway and bus system. Overall the hotel had everything we needed for our family and were very happy to have found this place!
A pleasant hotel in a good location close to local restaurants, shops and metro stations. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly
The hotel is dinky and dark and didn’t feel so secure with the whole key submission situation. I didn’t even spot a safe in the room and it was tiny with minimal towels and toiletries. Carpeting in rooms. Staff was nice and area very good.
Staff was very nice. Great location
Very nice place. Quiet at night, and in a nice area 3min walk from 2 Metro lines
This property is located in a convenient location and staff is friendly. Bed was nice but the bathroom is bit dated and very small. Rooms don't have a coffee maker, fridge or microwave. Safe is not available in the room but it was available at the front desk that we didn't use. Overall it was a good place to stay for our first visit to Paris.
Property was in good shape and so were the rooms. Cleans and neat property. Just a little small , I should have checked the room size .
The customer services was outstanding.
Location was perfect with a metro station and shops 3min away. 1metro stop to most of the highlights. The room was very clean and a good size for 2 persons. Should I visit Paris again, I will choose this hotel because it is good value for money!
Location is great. Hotel not in the best condition
Convenient and quiet location close to transport and dining/shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had the Parisian charm we were looking for.
The room was lovely perfect for 3 night stay.
The room was great for a solo, one night visit. It is close to lots of great shopping and restaurants, and the employee at the front desk was kind and helpful. As far as the room goes, though I booked a double room, it was actually quite small. It was also a bit dated, with a lot of wear noticeable in the bathroom. The bathroom pipes were loud, where you can hear water noise from other showers and flushing- even with the bathroom door closed. It's a small hotel, so all the rooms are steps from the elevator, meaning you may hear comings and goings at all hours. The AC was not working, but the window was helpful to let a breeze in. The hotel room doors use normal keys, and don't have much more in terms of security (like a deadbolt lock or door guards/latch that most hotels have). The front desk asks you to leave your key with them before you leave the premises- I thought this was optional, but they asked me to leave my key every time I left the building. Overall, it was an okay stay for the price, but if I was staying in the area longer, I would opt for something more comfortable.
The remarkable thing about our room in this hotel was how perfectly quiet it was, even though were many cafes and bars nearby. The beds were comfortable, and we were given the twin beds we asked for. The location was excellent for walking to many many important sites. My only criticism was being charged 20 euros for four small bags which they kept for us after we checked out. This was the first time I have ever encountered a charge for that service.
Loved our stay only regret was that it was too short.
Room too small, carpet too old and smells bad.
Separamos habitación tipo apartamento, l estufa funcionó solo una vez. Lo notificamos, pero el problema no se solucionó.
We had a nice room that was perfect for our three night stay with a helpful front desk staff. This property must've been recently renovated as the bathrooms were especially nice. The area is very close to everything and i would recommend it.
Safe and cozy
The staff were all excellent, accommodating and helpful. The condition of the rooms were a little run down especially 55. The rooms were not kept up as to the condition of the ground floor rooms. The shower head would keep falling off the holder because the holder was worn and couldn't be tightened to hold the shower head at the proper angle for showering. Excellent hot water though.
Very nice neighborhood. Walked to many nice stores and restaurants.
Friendly and helpful staff. Carpert needs an update
Very accessible to Our Lady Miraculous Medal church. Close to metro, shopping centre and restaurant.
The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fact that we could have breakfast before starting our day touring Paris! All staff were very friendly and helpful when needed.
Charming hotel and staff. Small room, decent sized bathroom. good pressure and hot water in the shower. Good neighborhood to walk around and close to several metro stations. We booked thru orbitz and had an extra adult in the room so we probably got the worst room in the hotel. Bottom floor, view of the roof of the breakfast area. Some rooms had balconies and looked much better. TV had no stations in english. All in all I was still pleased with the hotel and would highly recomend it, just ask for a room on a higher floor.
I recently had a terrible experience staying at the Hotel De Sevres in Paris. I booked a room with kitchenette, dining table, and balcony facing the street, but when I arrived, they gave me a tiny room with a blocked balcony and small beds not kitchen or dining area. The air conditioning and the blackout curtains were ineffective, and the customer service was appalling. I showed my booking to the person at desk but he refused to change our room. I contacted Hotels.com the same night and I stayed on the phone with them until 2:00 AM they spoke with hotel but hotel refused to refund. Hotels.com person said everything else in area is sold out too. I am writing this review to warn other travellers to avoid this hotel. It is a small, poorly run establishment that does not live up to its online photos.
Quiet and clean.
Semaine parfaite! Le personnel est gentil et prêt à aider. La chambre est -roper et calme. Le quartier est merveilleux. Nous reviendrons!
Un hotel pequeño pero confortable extremadamente limpio bien ubicado
Wonderful hotel, beautiful view of the street! Great safe area!
Great location to stay at and quieter than other neighborhoods. Staff was great and helpful whenever we needed a ride.
Great location close to the metro line 4 and cafes. Also nearby laundromat. Room spacious with nice bathroom. Breakfast available for extra cost.
