Snow Lion Riverside Resort

Super schönes Hotel mit einer sehr guten Größe (nicht zu klein, nicht zu groß) und einer tollen Hotelanlage (Pool, Tischtennis, Billiard). Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben jeden Tag einen Elektroroller ausgeliehen – ohne Probleme. Wir kommen hoffentlich irgendwann wieder!

Het vriendelijke personeel dat heel veel hulp biedt bij het organiseren van activiteiten en tickets. Maar evengoed de heerlijke kamers en de goeie bedden. Het zwembad dat ons af en toe de nodige rust bracht. De lokatie vlak aan de rivier. Het lekkere ontbijt met opnieuw bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.

Het was helemaal in orde. Om weg te geraken heb je steeds een didi (taxi), er is niet echt openbaar vervoer in de buurt. Maar de didi is goedkoop en eenvoudig te boeken.

J’ai été incroyablement accueilli dans cet établissement, le personnel était au petit soin et a su me donner de très bons conseils pour mes excursions. La chambre était confortable et propre, j’ai pu profiter d’une vue sur le coucher de soleil !!

Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et professionnel. Les chambres sont tres agréables et la piscine est un plus appréciable après la journée en rando ou à vélo. Vous pouvez réserver en toute confiance

Un personnel exceptionnellement gentil et serviable. Ils se sont occupés de toutes les réservations pour nous. On y mange très très bien. Nous y avons pris tous nos repas. Les logements sont très confortables et agréables. Piscine très agréable. Possibilité de laver son linge. Excellent séjour. Merci au personnel pour toute leur gentillesse.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij de Snow Lion Riverside Resort. We zijn er echt in de watten gelegd. Het personeel staat altijd voor je klaar en denkt graag mee bij het maken van plannen. Wat ook erg handig is, is dat ze Engels spreken. Daarnaast is het eten er echt heerlijk en de prijzen heel acceptabel. Vanuit het zwembad heb je uitzicht op het Karstgebergte en ze bieden leuke activiteiten aan zoals kalligrafie en het theater. Boek je dit bij de accommodatie, dan is het goed geregeld en voor een kleiner bedrag dan online of bij Booking. Het resort is werkelijk een oase in alle hectiek en in het drukke China. We komen er in de toekomst graag nog eens terug en waren er nu nog graag wat langer gebleven als de tijd dat ons toestond.

We kunnen niets benoemen wat niet beviel.

A very good hotel with a nice garden and a clean swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and nutritiuous. Free bicycles to explore the area. We really enjoyed our stay in Snow lion riverside hotel.

Ottima la colazione, staff molto collaborativo e parlante inglese. Un po’ lontano dal centro abitato ma dalla sua ha la tranquillità e gli spazi verdi.

gelegen in het groen aan de Li rivier, heerlijk genieten van de rust. Een fijne kamer met balkon en comfortabele bedden. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Linda gaf ons advies over de omgeving en bracht ons met de auto heen en terug naar de beroemde lichtshow. Ajing deed ontzettend haar best om ons te helpen met trein en taxi boeking. Gratis gebruik van fietsen is een groot pluspunt, het is geweldig fietsen in de omgeving.

het ontbijt zou wel wat beter kunnen voor een hotel in deze prijsklasse.

Locatie was buiten de stad, heerlijk rustig. Personeel was zo ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het voelde alsof we thuis kwamen. Zwembad was heerlijk, eten fantastisch. Echt een pareltje en zeer aan te raden!

Lo mejor del complejo han sido las habitaciones. Limpias, espaciosas y comodas. Muy bien el personal, atento y ayudando en todo momento con la contratación y sugerencia de las cosas que visitar. En el restaurante variedad de comida china y occidental. Bastante buena y a precio razonable. La ubicación es tranquila, aunque esta alejada de la cuidad, es necesario ir en taxi o didi, pero el coste de este tipo de servicios es bajo y rapido.

Podría mejorar la zonas comunes, le falta un poco de mantenimiento, pudiendo dar la sensación de viejo pese a estar limpio. No tener ascensor, resta comodidad cuando viajas con niños y equipaje tener que subir 3 plantas.

Il proprietario, William, e tutto lo staff sono stati fin da subito molto disponibili, ci sono venuti a prendere alla stazione, ci hanno offerto thè cibo e ogni informazione necessaria per visitare la zona. L'hotel è praticamente in riva al fiume e a 10 km da Yangshuo. Forniscono biciclette gratuitamente e hanno una piscina dove facevamo il bagno ogni giorno. Il ristorante dell'hotel offre una vasta gamma di piatti e la colazione non è internazionale ma comunque hanno frutta, salato e qualche dolce. La zona è molto tranquilla e dominata dal rumore delle cicale e degli uccellini. La camera spaziosa e con l'aria condizionata. Per noi è stata una bella esperienza che ricorderemo grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto lo staff!

La struttura é davanti al fiume immersa nel verde, un momento di relax dopo giorni nelle città. Non é vicino al Centro ma si arriva tranquillamente in Didi o in scooter. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. La colazione varia e con un bel mix locale e occidentale. Anche il ristorante é delizioso. Ma soprattutto la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff, si sono fatti in quattro per noi e ci hanno aiutati con tutte le nostre richieste. Dovessi tornare a Yangshuo tornerei sicuramente qui.

la camera era veramente bella e grande. la piscina pulita e veramente utile con quelle giornate di caldo! Abbiamo mangiato anche all'interno dell'hotel e la cucina cinese è molto buona. abbiamo fatto tramite hotel la cooking class alla scuola di cucina accanto ed è stata un'esperienza molto divertente!

il costo del servizio di driver era abbastanza alto per quello che poi effettivamente abbiamo fatto.

Before we even got there the staff were amazing at emailing back answers to my questions. Linda and the ever so friendly, homely team were fantastic. Had we not already booked tickets and been on a time constraint, we definitely would have stayed longer. The rooms (309 and 309a).... wow!!!!!! Just wow. We (myself and 2 daughters) had an interconnecting room that overlooked the front of the property and it's such a wonderful view from the spacious balcony. I had a medical problem and once again the help from the team to guide me on where to go was very reassuring. I thoroughly recommend the tea course with Linda. I'm from the UK and usually have 2 Yorkshire tea bags (left in the mug) with sugar and a tad of milk. Nice n strong. Boy did I learn loads about all the different teas and how they can all be made differently. I think they may just have converted me. We had the opportunity to dress up and also buy a traditional tea set for my eldest daughter to act as tea master. Please, please even if just for one night, stay here. I could see this as a perfect location for a spa retreat, nice n secluded but not too far from the mania of West Street. This is a totally unpaid and unbiased review but if you do want to pay me....send me back there ;-)

It was very wonderful and great stay at this resort. Far from city and crowd which is exactly what I prefer the most. All the staffs were so helpful, and the main thing is that they speak English very well which is very difficult to find around in other areas. The room and the facilities were all on top. The staffs also helped us to recommend and organize the transportation to visit around. Mainly thanks to William for making our trip easy and helping us for arranging the tickets and all. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Nous avons tour apprécié. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, les lits confortables. La restauration de l'hôtel est très bonne avec des prix corrects et un super service. La piscine est très bien aussi et nos enfants ont apprécié la table de ping pong et de billards. Le grand + de cet hôtel c'est le personnel. Des gens d'une grande gentillesse et d'une grande aide. Ils ont répondu à toutes nos demandes d'aide pour organiser nos activités et toujours avec le sourire. Merci à William, Linda, julie et la jeune femme qui les accompagne en cuisine et à la réception qui sourit toujours.

Very clean. English speak personal. Helpfull with every little thing. Prepare plan and book everyticket for us and organize all attractions. Went with us to every attraction entrance and provide bycicles with deliveries and pick up just in our decided random places. Thank you.

A little old bulding (but very clean). Bought a wrong tickets in SanjieLiu show and said that it’s agency foult, since we understand that in real, this is not agency who did’t bought the requested seats. But we still visit agency with few meters different seats, and show was still amazing, so I still rate everything with highest rating possible.

Hay lugares que están llenos de corazón y de cariño. Snow Lion Riverside no es solo un hotel con una excelente relación calidad-precio, con una comida excelente o con una situación ideal para salir del ruido y el bullicio que caracteriza China. Es, sobre todo, un lugar en donde William y su equipo te hacen sentir como en casa desde que llegas hasta que te vas. Siempre con una sonrisa, con una actitud de ayuda y con mucha profesionalidad y humanidad que se agradece, más cuando viajas con dos niñas, como es el caso mío. Además, ofrecen actividades muy interesantes como clases de cocina, de kungfú o de caligrafía. Nosotros hicimos esta última en el hotel y la recomiendo. La de cocina no pudimos por falta de tiempo pero tenía muy buena pinta. La dejamos para cuando volvamos. No lo duden: en Yangshuo este es un sitio ideal para disfrutar de un sitio maravilloso. ¡Gracias a William y a su equipo 🙂!

Gastvrijheid van het personeel, met name Linda, William en Dong. De rust en het zwembad na een intensieve en hete dag. De locatie naast de Li rivier en dichtbij Yangshuo. Fietstocht door de dorpen langs de rivier en de kookles van Linda.

The hotel is much nicer than on the photos. The pool is just perfect, plus you have billiard table and table tennis. You can also rent scooter or get bikes. The breakfast is super, plus the restaurant is open all day with amazing food. William, the owner speaks English and he helps you with anything you need. He even took us to the railway station an hour away. Thanks William for your warm hispotality!

Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Ze helpen je met een planning voor activiteiten. Het restaurant heeft lekker eten, zowel Chinees als wat westerse gerechten. Het zwembad is heerlijk na een warme dag.

Very nice family stay in quite and very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are clean and tidy, food very delicious and there is a swimming pool for relaxing afternoon. Hotel staff are very polite and ready for any help, surarounding is beatiful specially sunset place that is 10min by walk, in the same time you can enjoy with cup of coffee or tea. Beside riding bike or e-bike hotel can provide cooking classes that we enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended for family traveling.

Very clean, convenient location right by the river, 15 min walk to the Impression show site, everyone speaks English. Staff and owners alike are very welcoming and caring. They helped us with tickets to the show and nearby sights. Thank you for our amazing stay!

We loved the atmosphere in the hotel. Very friendly staff, serene space and always the possibility to make us a meal and help us. We loved the swimming pool and the kids enjoyed pooling and table tennis. We used their bikes and two of us went out with the scooter. We had a great spacious room with a nice balcony. It was only 40 meters to the Li river where we enjoyed the light show from that point of view. It's a quiet place with not much traffic around and a nice mountain to climb. By the way we were very happy that the hotel offered to pick us up from Yangshuo train station and bring us back there. It was a great ride and it saved us a lot of hassle. Estuvimos alojados en un hotel de ensueño, con vistas maravillosas a las espectaculares montaña de yangshuo y el río Li, la especial atención del personal del hotel fueron la gran diferencia nos hicieron sentir como en casa!! La location è meravigliosa , proprio sulla riva del fiume Li: totale relax e natura incontaminata. Buena calidad-precio. Decoración china tradicional y buena ubicación. El personal es súper amable y habla inglés perfectamente, por lo que te ayudará en todo lo que puedan. Desayuno sencillo pero rico.

We had a very relaxed stay. Free bike rental. Nice food in the restaurant. Very helpfull staf, especially lady Hanna helped us a lot To do tours and she had good recommendations what to do. The kids did a dumpling workshop with her (free). Thank you for this beautiful experience and we really want to visit Yangshuo again.

Cet hôtel est très confortable, personnel très sympathique, prêt à conseiller, le restaurant est excellent, beau jardin, emplacement calme, pas trop éloigné de la ville, vraiment une adresse à recommander. This hotel is very comfortable, the staff is nice and helping, the food tasty, lovely garden, a quiet place but not far from Yangshuo.Really an accommodation to be highly recommanded for its price and quality..

This was a nice quaint place outside of Yangshuo town. The staff are very kind and helpful, though they had trouble finding my reservation (must say that you booked through Expedia despite using Hotels.com) The shuttle cart goes in and out of town about 4 or 5 set times which while not the most convenient is very helpful and free! They even picked us up initially from the city for free after we arranged this from the tour guide. The restaurant serves good quality food. It is on the east, and thus too far for my elder mom to get to the recommended biking/hiking trail by the west side river so we did not end up going out there with bikes, but for stronger folks it'd be apparently a great half day trip. P.S. The bikes do have a reasonable rental fee, they're not free as another reviewer suggested. Scooters are also available for rent and I saw helmets also. Would have liked if the room had a few more amenities- a fridge to store food from the city, an extra mirror outside of the bathroom. But it was very clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was nice and there's a small trail very close by that will take you to the riverside. The pool was a nice spot to cool off, it's small but well kept and there are other family friendly things to do around it- ping pong, mahjong, foosball. All in all, I'm glad we stayed here as it seemed much too busy in Yangshuo town.
