D´Gecko Hotel

El hotel está muy bien ubicado y está limpio y arreglado. De lo mejor que puedes encontrar en Moalboal.

Estuvimos una semana y no limpiaron la habitación ninguno de los días.

Our room was clean and beautiful and everything worked well. Few meters away is a restaurant with very good breakfast. From there you can enter the ocean and swim to the sardine spot. You can also rent snorkling gear right outside the hotel.

It´s a little walk to the main street where everything is happening. If you have a car its complicated to find it cause the way on google maps is wrong. So we figured out to ask a local motordriver to drive there from the main street and we followed him. But after knowing the way it was pretty easy to drive there the next time.

Excellent location and the free drink on arrival was a great inclusion. It was great for a one night stay

The walls are very thin so can get noisy in the rooms. The water pressure isnt the best but doable. Would stay here again regardless.

Great value for money, especially for families. We stayed as a family of five (3 adults and 2 kids) and booked a family room, which was spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay.

The only downside was the location. If it rains, you'll likely have to walk through some puddles to get to the main road. Other than that, it wasn't an issue. Also, keep in mind that it takes around 15 minutes by tuk-tuk to reach White Beach.

Albergo molto carino e ben tenuto. le camere sono ben accessoriate e non mancano di nulla. personale disponibile e gentile. la posizione è la parte migliore, zona silenziosa e tranquilla, ma in 2 minuti a piedi si raggiungono i principali dive center della zona e la famosa spiaggia con le sardine.

volendo essere ipercritici, il ristorante legato all'albergo ha una qualità non al top. però la posizione è fenomenale, si può mangiare in riva al mare e godere di bellissimi tramonti

-Good location, close to the shore. -the area is quiet, no parties or noise around, but very close to bars and restaurants. -clean -good value-money

-while the property is clean and well maintained, the rooms would benefit from some updates. -funky smell coming from the toilet room. Not super bad and not all the time. -the safe didn't work

Amazing location. The mattress in the room was very comfortable and made the stay very comfortable. Its in a quiet corner right on the water and could not be a better location! Close to the sardines and snorkeling. Highly recommend.

Bathroom was a bit outdated especially the shower. But all in all it was not that bad, and I would stay here again.

Staff or rules policies that doesnt have any consideration to their first timer guest, not a recommendable location to stay in cebu

Great location, clean, fantastic air conditioning in the room, friendly and helpful staff and super easy to rent a scooter through the hotel. The staff organised a transfer from Cebu to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel resturant was also great.

Staff were friendly and always helpful, they also kept the hallway very clean, and it was easy to rent a motorbike directly from them + to store our luggage for a few hours after check-out. Location was convenient, a very short walk to the beach with amazing snorkelling opportunities (I thought it was actually on the beach when making the booking - this is not the case). Mainly quiet at night, great for light sleepers. We were also given a voucher for welcome drinks at the restaurant on arrival, which was a nice surprise.

The pillows were insanely uncomfortable. The extension cord the lamp was plugged into had some issues and if nudged, the light would start flickering or simply go out. The shower head was basically fully blocked, my partner had cleaned it himself - could do with some general descaling. Not sure why, but even with the aircon on, it took days for our swimmers to dry when hanging them up in the room. I thought the restaurant was part of the building where the hotel was, but the info seems to be somewhat misleading, or I misjudged the location. The hotel itself is not directly on the beach (some rooms may have sea view, not sure, ours and a few others definitely didn’t, and neither was there a common area where you could sit and chill with a view when hiding from the sun for a bit after a few busy days).

Staff was very accommodating and pleasant

Room was clean but the beddings and towels were old and discolored. The cover on my bed was a red and black flannel and did not go with the decor and vibe of the place. The towels were very old and not a clean crisp white. The location was not great since the hotel was not at the water. The way to get to the water's edge was very disappointing. For having such a great experience with the sardines and sea turtles, the way to get to the water's edge was actually unsafe. There needs to be a better pathway to get to the water instead of uneven steps without adequate handrails. The pathway was dirty, muddy, and not aesthetically pleasing. It could be so much better if some funds were used to make the place cleaner and safer.

It s very noisy and rooms are really small. The room is also very dark

Great location. Close to everything - beach, bars, dive shops, coffee shops- but super quiet. No through traffic. Basic but very clean and had all you might want. Handy ATM, and can hang wet things up to dry. Very chill.

Wifi is a bit spotty.

Friendly staff, specially Mam Fe. She is very kind and patient with all my questions. And she was very helpful in planning our activities with my family. She’s a gem!

Perfect location, a short stroll away from the sardine run and still close enough to all the shops and restaurants. Staff members were very helpful.

Die Unterkunft war super sauber. Die Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. ebenfalls sauber. Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr nah am Strand und zum Tauchcenter war es auch nicht weit. Das Hotel hat ein eigenes Restaurant. Ob es das Frühstück mit Meerblick oder das Mittagessen war. Alles lecker. Super freundliches Personal. Immer wieder gerne

En la habitación había muchísima humedad, no podías secar las toallas ni el bañador.

Établissement à une minute de la mer, Les bancs de sardines sont directement sur la mer face à l’hôtel! Le Diving vaut vraiment le coup! Il est très facile de manger très proche de cet hôtel, il y a vraiment pour tous les goûts!

Stay went good overall. Location was very good, only a 5 min walk to the ocean, which you can rent snorkelling equipment and start from there to do the Sardine Run, makes it easy. Also lots of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Hotel room was good enough, with comfortable beds.

A slight mould smell in room. The bathroom towels were old, thin, would recommend investing in some newer towels.

Останавливалась на 3 ночи, уборки не было ни разу, мусор не забирают, поменяли по обращению полотенца, качество которых ужасное, неприятно использовать такие. В номере пахнет сыростью и плесенью, проветрить и просушить но но не получится, т.к. окно в комнате не открывается, только маленькая форточка в туалете, но прт открытии напротив кровати унитаз)) Вид вместо сада на облезлое здание и соседнюю крышу Улыбаются, все ли хорошо интересуются, озвучиваешь проблему, - вообще никаких действий, после выселения очень долго ждала такси, даже в туалет сходить не разрешили, все улыбки фальшивые

Everything, the overall vibes, the friendly staffs, cleanliness and the fact that it's near to the beach, and the resto bar is beachfront. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues

A beautiful hotel right by the shoreline, which made the whole experience feel relaxing and scenic. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Waking up so close to the water was a big plus. Overall, a very pleasant and peaceful stay.
