Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Place is super clean, even the little things like in the super cold evenings in the winter, the electric blanket on the beds were so thoughtful & the yummy rusks we delicious. Hosts are lovely, friendly & accommodating. Very safe parking as well. Location is also good as it is close to everything. We had dinner at the Platteland restaurant and real delicious lambo choppies, comfort Boere food. Overall, everything is 10 out 10.

The WiFi signal was not strong enough, as well as internet speed was a bit slow (we're city dwellers usually and maybe spoilt with connection speed)

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Skietberg Lodge is our go to place when travelling back from the Cape. This is our 6th (or 7th) stay and have never been disappointed. Great rooms. Great location. Excellent staff. And every year, you can see how they have taken efforts to improve guest comfort. This year, we noticed brand new ceiling fans with LED lights in our rooms. A very welcome addition to the warm nights of Colesberg over December. (Don't worry, the Aircons are great too).
