Komunikacja z właścicielem. Pomimo zameldowania się na prośbę właściciela on-line dzień wcześniej i podaniu godziny przybycia a także wysłaniu wiadomości Whatsapp po dotarciu na miejsce nikt przez 30 min się z nami nie skontaktował. Dopiero jak zadzwoniłem to właściciel podał nam kod i wskazał gdzie są klucze. Takie informacje można było wysłać Whatsapp kilka godzin wcześniej i nie byłoby problemu.

Un petit déjeuner correct qui manque un peu de salé. En hauteur le point de vue attire beaucoup de jeunes qui papotent jusqu'à tard en dessous des fenêtres mais ce n'est pas extrêmement gênant, cela reste un très bel endroit !

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Cinzia molto gentile e disponibile, purtroppo il check out lo abbiamo fatto prima e, non potendo usufruire della colazione, la sera prima ci hanno fatto avere un po di frutta, succhi, crostata. Posizione eccellente, valore aggiunto sono le indicazioni fornite su dove parcheggiare
Purtroppo la camera era piena di capelli neri, non proprio l’ideale soprattutto per chi ne ha la fobia. Capelli neri per terra, in bagno e nelle lenzuola e sul cuscino. Non ho dormito sotto le coperte perché erano veramente piene, consiglio di prestare molta più attenzione.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Posizione eccellente a due (veramente due) passi dall'inizio della zona pedonale del centro storico della città e già nel Sasso Caveoso. Fuori dal rumore della movida serale, ma estremamente vicino ad essa. Struttura pulita, colazione buona, avevamo la stanza col balconcino con una discreta vista sui Sassi che appena svegli la mattina è un bel vedere!
A noi è piaciuto tutto, ma volevo segnalare che il bagno di quella stanza è bello, comodo, ma non adatto a persone alte.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026A fost interesant aspectul de "grota" în interior. Locatia are aer condiționat și se intra direct de pe alee. Micul dejun se ia în camera de deasupra. Lângă locatie este o mica brutărie unde am mâncat o focacia f buna. Daca mergeti cu masina se poate merge pana într-o mica piateta pana în fata restaurantului Pane e pomodoro iar de acolo pe scări pana la locatie. Chiar in fata ușii e o zona de unde se poate admira cealaltă pantă a Materei. La plecare au fost f drăguți și ne-au permis sa ne lăsăm bagajele înăuntru până am plecat din Matera. Paturile comode.
Ca nu a fost o mica masa în locatie. Este frigider dar nu si masa sau scaune.

The breakfast was rather disappointing and quite limited. The selection was very minimal, with mainly sweet items and industrial-style pastries, and there were no savoury options. For example, only one croissant was served for two people, which felt a little restrictive. Regarding the check-in, the Booking.com listing states that the information needed to access the property would be provided 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, we had to call several times on the day of our arrival to obtain the access codes, even though we were already standing in front of the property and had arrived within the indicated check-in hours. The welcome also felt rather cold, which was a little unpleasant, especially as it was our first time staying at this property. On the other hand, we were reminded several times that check-out was at 10:00, which felt somewhat excessive given the difficulties we experienced with the check-in. Overall, we believe that a warmer welcome and better communication regarding the check-in process would significantly improve the experience.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Posizione mozzafiato sul Sasso Caveoso di Matera, ma a due passi dalle vie più alla moda (via Ridola). Parcheggio comunale a 200 metri, comodissimo e tutto sommato economico, per gli standard europei (10 € al giorno). Il punto di partenza perfetto per scoprire questo autentico gioiello di città.
Che ci siamo fermati solo due notti!

Chambres confortables avec vue sur les Sassis, literie au top, petit-déjeuner copieux, facilité pour le checkin et checkout. Petit bémol qui empêche le 10/10, le ménage à perfectionner (cheveux dans la salle de bain) mais sinon je recommande vivement.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026La ubicación, las vistas del pueblo y que se puede ver el amanecer desde la habitación. La amabilidad de personal. Lo amplia que era la habitación. También tenía una mininevera.
El desayuno se servía a partir de las 8 y nosotros nos íbamos a las 7. Pese a eso la chica nos dejó en una bandejita el desayuno en la habitación así para el día siguiente ya lo teníamos. Las galletas al día siguiente estaban blanditas. Como sugerencia, se podía poner un poco más de variedad de fruta a parte de manzana y kiwi por ejemplo plátano. Para mí pedí desayuno sin lactosa y la chica intentó hacer lo posible aunque solo tuviese leche y bueno la fruta y quería ir a comprar algo más así que gracias!

The quadruple room was very spacious with 2 bathrooms. Although the booking said no windows, there were a couple of small windows to let light in. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommended.

La cama es amplia y había almohadas de repuesto. Nos dejaron dos botellas de agua de cortesía. y el desayuno es muy bueno con productos frescos y variado. Davide fue muy amable al recibirnos y predispuesto con nuestras consultas sobre la ciudad y la propiedad. Muy recomendable!

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The room was suburb. Close to the main city area, this building and the buildings around the accommodation were breathtaking. We found parking in a nearby street, left our car there and were able to walk everywhere. The room itself had the modern features but in a historic building, and navigating around the historic centre from the room was very easy and convenient. Communication with the owner was excellent, particularly as we arrived on a very special day for the town. Having breakfast provided was an added bonus and very tasty.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Easy to find, with free parking a 10 minute walk away. Within the pedestrianised central part of Matera, but quiet and with classic views from the bedrooms.
Although the rooms were clean the place felt a bit grubby, more like a hostel than the many other B&Bs we have stayed in in Italy. Bags of blankets stuffed on top of wardrobes, cheap furniture. Lacking a personal touch, which was most evident in the absence of any staff apart from a lady who set out a very basic breakfast in the morning. The staff member who contacted me about check-in informed me on the day of arrival that she couldn’t meet us at the appointed time after all. She demanded photos of passports for all four guests to be sent by text (I refused until she she conceded a secure link could be sent via Booking.com), and she hassled me for payment that evening whilst we were having dinner.

que dsp de alquilar x booking me contacten por wsp exigiendo que debia hacer el check ib por "cita previa" . forma totalmente inesperada y poco amigable de tratar con el huesped. luego eso fue modificado por irene y nos dio los codigos de acceso y nos dejo elementos para desayunar porque nos ibanos temorano. no hay pava electrica a la noche por lo menos para hacerse un cafe.

Achava que ia ouvir barulho da rua mas fechando a porta do quarto super tranquilo. A senhora do pequeno almoço embora não soubesse falar inglês esforçou-se e entendemo-nos. Check in super simples.
O pequeno almoço era muito limitado. Um bocadinho de fiambre e queijo já mudavam O cenário. Mas entendo que seja pelo desperdício. Nada que tivesse afetado a estadia.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026De locatie is perfect. Klein balkonnetje en als je de kamer op de hoek hebt een prachtig uitzicht. Ontbijt is heel goed voor Italiaanse begrippen, aardige mevrouw die het verzorgd. De kamer is heel schoon en een prima bed.
Het inchecken gaf wat problemen omdat de host niet aanwezig kon zijn, maar door de goede communicatie per WhatsApp met haar is het gelukt😃

It’s right in the Sassi, but close enough to park your car (private parking 5 minutes away by foot, we paid 20 Euros for leaving the car there for two days - Parcheggio Comunale Via Vena). Breakfast is an Italian one, there were sweet pastries, but also plain yogurt, fruits and toast with honey available. No eggs or cold meats. Too bad we only spent one night there!
The shower doesn’t drain properly, we had a good bit of water that leaked on the steps leading to the vanity sink.

Fondamentale organizzarsi con un tour a piedi nei sassi ed anche la visita con guida nel parco delle Murge! Noi ci siamo rivolti per entrambe le visite a “A spasso nei sassi “

Horrible experiencia. Hemos viajado varias veces por Europa y nunca vivimos algo parecido. Desde el inicio hubo muy mala comunicación y un trato prepotente por parte del personal. Nos exigían hablar inglés o italiano, cambiando constantemente de idioma y sin intención real de ayudarnos. Además, las instrucciones de ingreso fueron enviadas tarde, pese a que llegamos dentro del horario de check-in establecido en Booking. Lo peor ocurrió durante el desayuno. Mi marido intentó calentar una focaccia en el microondas y la persona encargada comenzó a gritarle inmediatamente “está roto” en italiano, sin dejarlo tranquilo ni intentar dialogar. El microondas ya tenía un cartel que decía “don’t open”, por lo que claramente parecía tener problemas previos. Aun así, jamás hubo intención de dañarlo y, de haber existido algún problema real, nos habríamos hecho responsables sin inconvenientes. El trato fue tan desagradable que tuvimos que irnos sin desayunar. Intentamos contactar al encargado del alojamiento y nunca recibimos respuesta. Al retirarnos, incluso apuntaron las cámaras hacia nosotros como si hubiéramos cometido algo grave, situación que nos pareció completamente inaceptable y muy incómoda. Somos huéspedes frecuentes y siempre hemos tenido excelentes evaluaciones. Esta fue, lejos, una de las peores experiencias que hemos tenido.

Personnel peu accueillant, petit déjeuner minimaliste (1/2 tranche de pain par personne, et il a fallu redemander du café : c'est une tasse pas deux).

Reviewed May 15, 2026Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Appartement, gute Matratze, sauber und tolle Wohnlage. Leider war kein Tisch vorhanden. Die Fotos waren etwas irreführend. Zu hören waren lediglich Passanten. Die Gastgeberin pflegte einen guten Kontakt mit allerlei nützlichen Informationen. Das Frühstück war fein mit frischen Waren der Bäckerei nebenan. Danke.
