Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Communication with the hotel even before our stay was very responsive and super helpful. Checkin was very friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. Room 102 - looking onto the Avenida and very comfy - nice coffee machine too. Breakfast was perfect to our taste and constantly replenished. Many bars and restaurants close by and easy to walk around. The fizz & chocolates for my birthday was a very special surprise. The hotel is super and the wonderful staff take it to the next level.

+ Não tem estacionamento (mas é fácil parar nas ruas atrás do hotel) + Não tem elevador (eu sabia, só não esperava por 54 degraus até meu quarto, carregando mala)

Não tem. elevador, o que para. pessoas de mobilidade reduzida pode ser um problema.

O pequeno almoço podia ter mais variedade, disponibilizar as toalhas da praia gratuitamente e naturalmente serem devolvidas no fim da estadia. Terem condicionador para o cabelo e melhorar a limpeza dos quartos.

It’s not something we do not like, just leave an information for others. The overnight parking is in 2 mins walk distance. Not expensive for 24 hours.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Das Personal ist super nett und extrem hilfsbereit. Wir haben im Hotel Fahrräder ausgeliehen und haben vom Hotel angeboten bekommen bei Problemen Oder Fragen von unterwegs anrufen zu können.
Leider lag unser Zimmer an einem Schacht und hatte keine Aussicht. Das schlimmste an diesem Schacht war, dass es immer gestunken hat. Entweder nach Essen oder Kanalisation. In der ersten Nacht haben wir das Fenster offen gelassen. In der Nacht bin ich aufgewacht und das ganze Zimmer hat nach Kloake gerochen. Ich empfehle dringend ein Zimmer zur Strasse zu buchen. Leider stand das so nicht im Internet.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026This is a fabulous hotel in a perfect location. There is a well maintained central park/garden area with cafes located just in front of the hotel. The old historic town is a few minutes walk away and has pleasant squares, cafes and shops. The Rio Art hotel design is creative with interesting art works displayed. I had a premier room with balcony located at the front of the hotel overlooking the parks. It was large, light, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The towels in the bathroom were luxurious. Nice to have coffee making facilities with coffee pods, bottled water and a small bottle of wine provided gratis, as well as having a fridge. The breakfast areas are stylish and there was an excellent varied choice of food on offer. Although there isn’t a lift in the hotel my case and my friends case were taken up to our rooms which was a most welcome gesture. The hotel staff at reception were delightful, exceptionally friendly and helpful, a pleasure to meet and a credit to the hotel.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026The hotel is in a good position, 2 blocks from the sea and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely, with individual themes and spacious bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the shutters made it very dark and quiet at night. There was a coffee machine and a fridge which was great during the hot weather. The AC was a big blessing too and very efficient. It was nice having a small accessible balcony from my room 102. The breakfast room like the rest of the hotel had stylish furniture and there was a good choice of meats, cheese pastries and fruit. Scrambled eggs, bacon and mini sausages were the hot options. We particularly enjoyed the pastel de nata and pecan maple plaits. There is a little communal area on the 1st floor which was nice to use. There is no lift but we managed fine on the first floor. As the name suggests there is art around the hotel and everything is modern and clean in an interesting older building. We had a very nice time during our 2 nights here.

area da casa de banho; apesar do quarto ser espaçoso, o espaço nao é confortavel. A decoraçao nao ajuda e nao é condizente com o edificio ( mobilias apesar do Ikea, desaquedadas ao projeto). Pequeno almoço muito fraco distribuido por várias salas ( a que fica como sala de estar deveria estar na antecamera dos quartos) e a Maquina do cafe nao deve ter uma mangueira para dentro de uma garrafa para tirar leite. :(

Por poner un pero…. La iluminación del baño, para maquillarse o afeitarse, muy mal. El hecho de que no tenga ascensor, para subir el equipaje.

Man muß die öffentlichen Parkplätze rund um das Hotel nutzen, da dieses keine eigenen hat. Und diese muß man wegen den generellen Parkuhren tagsüber im Auge behalten und regelmäßig nachfüttern
