Небольшой отель, преимущественно для Ланкийцев. Мы были одними из немногих англо-говорящих гостей, судя по всему. Если умеете изъясняться на сингальском - вообще все супер! Мы изъяснялись на смеси английского и гугл-транслейта на сингальском. Отель чудесный, хозяева очень отзывчивые. При заселение принесли очень вкусный фрэш из папйи. Завтраки у нас входили в стоимость: завтрак европейский - яйца, сосисочки, очень вкусное сливочное масло с тостовым хлебом, и обязательно фрэш! Если ушел в номер, пока готовится обед - тебя обязательно позовут. Мы выбирали отель в том числе из-за близости к серф-споту: до побережья можно дойти пешком за 15 минут. Мы с семьей остались довольны. Процветания и удачи бизнесу!

The staff were wonderful and made sure we could make it out to our tours for sightseeing even though it was very early. Everyone was very kind. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Good location, easy access for beaches

It was not as expected. But it is acceptable.

The TV is not working in one of the rooms, Ants are in the room, and the AC machine is not working in one room (Room Number 02). It is difficult to stay in a room with such a climate without AC. Since the AC is not working, there is no air circulation because it is a blind room and no windows. No wify as well

I stayed at City Stay for the second time this February, and I’m really pleased with the improvements they’ve made since my visit last March. The dampness and fungus near the bed are completely gone, and the walls have been freshly painted, making the room feel much brighter and cleaner. They also fixed the bathroom sink, so no more unexpected splashes! The only issue that remained from my last stay was the weak Wi-Fi signal, which could still use improvement. But aside from that, everything was much better this time. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend City Stay, and I’ll be coming back again!

Calm and quite place. Excellent customer care.

Location is 4-5 km away from downtown & right on the main road (easily accessible), which is good to find peace after a day long stroll around the Dutch Fort. Staff is very nice, however need some guidance in managing guests. Indian Hut located right next to hotel provides opportunity to try Indian/ SriLankan cuisine, however be mindful of spices while selecting from the menu (curries especially).

Breakfast wasn't good at all. Bread was really hard. No welcome drinks were served upon check-in. No amenities provided in room like electric kettle, water, glass, cups, etc.

The link for doors is at floor level!! Could be tricky for someone with mobility issues.

Regrettably, my experience at the room I booked was marked by some notable shortcomings. The presence of dampness and fungi on the walls, coupled with the lack of cleanliness in the bed linens, detracted from the comfort I had hoped for. The absence of a hair dryer, despite its mention in the amenities, added to the inconvenience. Furthermore, the excessive water speed in the bathroom sink not only caused splashing but also underscored the need for attention to detail in maintenance. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the overall quality of the accommodation experience.

The overall experience was really good. Recommending it.

Food quality was not up to standards.May be their restaurant was closed due to renovation these days. , Hot water was not working, Manual door lock malfunctioned.Tv was not working when checked in. But later it was fixed at the night.

The room was very nice and spacious. Bathroom was very clean and all in good condition. The owner was very welcoming and nice. Anything can be discussed. Highly recommended if you are just looking for a place to stay and nothing else like pools, play areas etc. Definitely value for money.
