Peaceful and clean.

It was cute and I liked the set up. The lights around the pool at night made the place look even better. The owner tried to be accommodating and assist where he could.

WiFi was an issue. Couldn't use the TV. The electric blankets did not work. Aircon also wasn't working so we couldn't use it to warm up either. Very creaky so it's noisy no matter how much you try to tip toe. Pillows weren't great either. Cracks on certain dishes which are unhygienic. No sink inside so dirty dishes just have to be left around till the next day which isn't ideal.

The sons and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful. The aircon in the room was helpful

I didn't expect that we'd be sleeping in an outside zozo type room. Our door keep coming on the hinge, making it hard to open, close and lock. Which added to my anxiety. I did have a small internal cry because the pictures given are very deceiving. We couldn't get the tv to go but I was nervous to fight with the door incase I couldn't get it open again - in order to help us put the TV on.

The facilities for braaiing and chilling was very nice.

Loadshedding, no electricity or hot water... For the first day, we sat in the dark for most of the evening... And was freezing cause its winter.

The swimming pool area is beautiful and the lights at night is like a fairy garden. The place is clean.

The place needs a bit of TLC, the bed is coming loose from the wall, the bathroom window is about to fall out, the shower leaks and the shower is also blocked.

Tje staff were super friendly and helpfull. The location was perfect for our excursions and close to many shops

Although we didn't stay, but the host was exceptionally kind although our last-minute cancellation.

The location was far from sasolburg where we had an appointment. Also the delay in opening the gate. The concern was also the manual operation of the gate.

The lady I was communicating and whom received me is not customer care oriented at all.It seemed as i was irritating her whenever i asked a question .At some point i asked if they had a vending machine because i was very thirsty and her response was " we are only a self catering apartment" she was write but the manner was very rude and ugly. SHE SHOULD HAVE ADVISED WHERE I COULD HAVE BOUGHT WATER simly ,it was very difficult to get to the location as what's shown on Google is only the back side if the property 😕.

The rooms are to small, the are no chairs m table to sit. Two plate srove it's too high. The place does not accommodate self catering, we had to borrow items to the main house, like knife, tin opener, and etc. Most places I went you are allowed to be in the premises even after check out, but the lady owner even when we asked for permission a day before check out she refuse to accommodate us. Too many pillows on the bed. Doors not closing properly. Showers too small, you have to squeeze yourself to get into the shower. The bathtub is too high, doesn't make sense to me. No cleaning service provided. Outside chairs and sofas they are dirty, I don't if it's the paint color or what. The toilet inside the bathroom is too close to the sink, you can't sit up straight

The noise level at the bar can disturb your sleep when you go to sleep before 12am, I'd also prefer to have a sink in the kitchen

1. The area is great. 2. The setup is captivating and beautiful. 3. The vintage look with the wood and timber is quite interesting.

The house lady was very sweet and patient. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The place is very close to emerald resort and stonehaven.

The wifi was a bit slow but overall the place was wonderful.

The nice warm welcome,at night when we arrived. Staff very friendly, owner did ask if we want to be moved to more private due to the party of the nurses year end function.

The late night party,no shading for our car. Steps slippery during our stay due to the rain. They can put up some shades for vehicles. Shower is a bit small,no ventilation in bathroom.
