Gili Air Bungalows

Très beau. Bien situé. Bon déjeuner. Personnel très accueillant! S'attendre à une marche de 10 minutes pour se rendre au restaurant à déjeuner. De plus, il faut aussi s'attendre à entendre les hauts-parleurs (muisques, récit, passage religieux) à plusieurs heures dans la journée / nuit. Nous, ça ne nous a pas dérangé, mais ça peut déplaire à certain.

L'eau à boire est à l'extérieur de la chambre, donc elle est très chaude.

The room was so lovely with an outdoor style bathroom, so you're showering under the trees. The pool and garden area was so nice with loads of trees and flowers and a pool with enough beds. The pool was relatively quiet most of the day. Located about 200m from the nearest beach and about a 10 minute walk from restaurant which serves breakfast on the beach.

Vanaf moment één heerlijk in de watten gelegd. Bij aankomst kregen we het nummer van Ayun en we konden hem alles vragen en hij kon ook alles voor ons regelen. De kamer was werkelijk prachtig! Alles was super netjes en heel schoon. Bij het huisje zat ook een heerlijk zitje en alle kamers lagen pal aan het zwembad. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd bij Chill Out op het strand. Hier kon je heerlijk eten en het was een perfecte plek om even aan het strand te liggen. Het personeel was hier ook geweldig! Al met al een fantastische tijd gehad!

La chambre est très belle avec une grande salle de bain, la piscine est grande et propre et le personnel sur place est adorable. L’hôtel est à 4 min à pied de la plage où vous pouvez observer des tortues dans l’eau. Et vous pouvez louer des vélo à l’hôtel pour visiter l’île.

The hotel is perfect it has everything you need and they are so attentive to details. The staff is super nice and you also might be lucky to have a friendly cat choosing you as a friend for your stay.

La habitación familiar es espectacular, muy limpia, con todo detalle ( toallas para baño, para piscina y playa), chanclas, bolso para ir a la playa. Tienes un dispensador de agua fría y caliente en el porche, tazas para hacerte café o té. La piscina es espectacular y la tranquilidad del lugar. A pocos metros de la playa y cerca del muelle. Para desayunar hay que andar un poco, pero merece la pena porque es espectacular, bueno y abundante y el personal muy amable. Por alojarte, te dejan usar las hamacas de la playa y tienes un 10% de descuento en la comida del restaurante. Puedes alquilar allí mismo tanto bicis como motos eléctricas. Le pongo un 10.

Por poner un defecto, la ducha del baño está un poco alta y salpica y moja bastante todo el suelo del baño. Pero

We loved the cute little touches such as the beach bag and flip flops to use. The open shower was amazing and the beds were really comfy & the staff at the bungalows and chill out restaurant couldn’t do enough for you!

Das Frühstück fand am strand in der einer der Restaurants statt und nicht direkt an der unterkunft

La chambre, les services proposés (location scooter, laundry), le personnel, le petit déjeuner etc. Tout était vraiment top. Bien situé pour avoir accès à la plage, l’avenue centrale et le côté est de l’île qui est le plus animé.

Le seul bémol c’est la localisation du restaurant. Il est situé à 10min de marche de l’hôtel ce qui peut être compliqué pour des personnes qui ont plus de difficultés à se déplacer. Cependant, le restaurant est très bon.

Kleinschalig, schoon, een heerlijk zwembad in een mooie tuin en zeer aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Perfecte locatie, net buiten de drukte. Dichtbij het strand en alle winkeltjes

Ontbijt was bij een strandtent op 10-15 min lopen. Wel een uitgebreid ontbijt op een mooie plek

Nous avons apprécié le calme du lieu, la gentillesse du personnel et la taille du lit ;-) L'hôtel est à proximité de la plage ainsi que de la rue commerçante principale. De plus, seules 10 minutes de marche permettent de rejoindre l'hôtel à partir du port. Néanmoins, merci au personnel qui nous a aidé à porter nos bagages pour le retour ! Nous avons également fait appel au service de nettoyage du linge. C'était top (et pas cher) avant de rentrer à la maison.

Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas organisé à l'hôtel même (10 min de marche). Cela dit, c'était très bon.

Een fantastisch huisje, mooie badkamer en heerlijke sfeer zo met een paar huisjes/kamers om het zwembad en mooie tuin heen. Je loopt de straat uit en bent meteen op het strand.

Het enige was dat het restaurant voor het ontbijt ver weg was, 7 min lopen. Maar ach, een prachtige ochtendwandeling, dus een leuk begin van de dag.

Vi boede på familieværelse. Rigtig fint og god plads. Lækkert med koldt og varmt vand tilgængeligt hele tiden. Lækker lille terrasse foran. Dejlig pool med god plads. Der var en dejlig ro hele døgnet. Personalet er meget søde, glade og hjælpsomme. Lækker lækker morgenmad. Dejlig stand ved chill out - med gode liggestole.

Alt var nærmest perfekt. Der er eneste lille minus er, at der er lidt langt at gå til Chill Out, hvor man får morgenmad (kun 10 min og en smuk tur ved havet) Til gengæld er det en virkelig lækker morgenmad serveret af glade og smilende ansatte og den indtages lige ned til stranden.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the property offers every convenience you could need, including sun loungers, a swimming pool, beach towels, slippers, beach bags, and water dispensers. The resort is conveniently located near the liveliest and best-served area of the island. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles and electric scooters. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast, served at a lovely seaside café about 400 meters away, was delicious and generous. Such a great property! Rooms were modern, clean and had all the things you might need: great AC, hot and cold water dispenser, beach/pool towels, fridge (with ample water and even bottles of orange juice on arrival), beach bags, mosquito plug ins. Pool area was lovely! Sounds like the renovations completed last year have eliminated any of the previous concerns others may have had. Looks exactly like the photos. Beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Balcony off the front of each bungalow gives plenty of space to store snorkels and hang wet swimwear, as well as two large daybeds to relax on. Breakfast is delicious and very plentiful! It is served at Chill Out beach club about 10 minutes walk away which is a great morning walk or cycle along the waterfront. You can also use their beach chairs during the day if you wish. Location is perfect- tucked along a quiet path but with excellent access to the beach and restaurants in all directions. Would book again without hesitation.

Bien situé, vraiment très charmant, chambre propre, bien équipée. Nettoyage tous les jours, changement de serviette à la demande. Climatisation et moustiquaires, pas gêner par les insectes. Es precioso. La piscina muy linda y las habitaciones muy cómodas y con todo lo necesario. Tenés agua fría y caliente para beber. El desayuno es en su restaurant en la playa , muy abundante y rico y te dejan hamacas y sombrillas para quedarte todo el dia, en la playa linda para hacer snorquel.

It was just gorgeous! Loved the little touches - handbag for the beach and flip flops to use . Loved the location, 3 min walk to the beach. Lovely pool, lush gardens. Everything room related worked, internet, the TV, Netflix etc. Breakfast was served at a beautiful location down by the beach, a 15 min walk from the bungalow. Breakfast was AMAZING! So much food. Absolutely loved that the kids could play in the sand while we had brekky with a gorgeous view. Use of sun beds at prime location. Would definitely come back and recommend!

Love our stay there with our little one! Staff were great! Very accommodating! We requested a cot and at our arrival we had a bassinet in the room. A little stressed about it and I didn’t want to be annoying; but I kindly asked if they had something bigger (ou baby is 9months old). They quickly said of course and someone came straight away with a travel cot and installed it in the room! The next day someone realized it was missing a comfier mattress so they changed it. It’s the best few nights we had in our trip! Our bed was also the comfiest we had!!! The room is really dark for babies and very quiet compared to other stays we’ve done! We could barely ear the mosques.

The restaurant is quite far from the property (only like a 10-15min walk) but too far for a family who’s time is limited! They offer to bring the food to your room instead, you just need to think about it in advance and ask for it the day before. But we ended up going to restaurants closer to the property.

The bungalows are lovely, clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were so helpful, happy and fun. The location was great for us, it is not beachfront but close enough, very quiet safe area, close to the Main Street and turtle beach area for snorkeling. Lots of options for food and shopping in walking distance. There are two gorgeous friendly cats that belong to the property that made our daughters stay delightful! Breakfast was simple but nice enough, you have to go down to another location on the beachfront at chill out restaurant which is a 5 min walk. We hired bikes so it was really easy.

We had an issue with a bad smell in our bathroom which took a few days and some prompting for the staff to fix. I don’t think they knew how to fix it at first but we eventually worked it out and they fixed it!

This was our second time staying here, the last time being 2 yrs ago. The improvements/renovations they have done make it even better than last time. I especially liked all the little thoughtful extras like the mosquito plug, beach bag and umbrellas. Breakfast on the beach is really good and well worth the short walk.

Extremely quiet and peaceful location, and a beautiful pool make this hotel super inviting and serene. The rooms are thoughtfully designed - our room had two queens and a day bed. The day bed was so comfy I fell asleep on it multiple times by accident. There are clean, well maintained mosquito nets on all beds..the bathroom is spacious and very clean. The outdoor area is nice too. The hotel provides a water dispenser which greatly helps reduce plastic use. They also provide flipflops, beach towels and beach totes - all of this enhances the stay so much. Breakfast is at chill out bar, not on premises so you do need to bike over. Chill out bar 's beach is actually the softest beach on the little with very little coral debris. The water is super clear at all times and you have access to their day beds. Staff at both properties are extremely sweet. Special note to say Adhi was so nice to us. Many reviews of gili mention garbage burning smell and rooster noise - GAB doesn't have either! Everything in gili is close by if you have a bike so I would 💯 recommend a serene place like this.

Il est tres bien situé tout proche de la plage et de l'activité commerciale. Le restaurant rattaché a l'hôtel est délicieux et le staff super sympa, direct sur la plage avec transats a disposition. Vraiment aucune fausse note! Tout etait parfait!

Vi og vores børn elskede stedet. Nyrenoveret for blot 3 måneder siden, hvorfor billederne ikke retfærdiggør hvor lækkert der er nu. Koldt og varmt vand ad libitum. Fantastisk pool. Beliggenheden er desuden perfekt trukket tilbage fra strand og øvrig larm på øen. Mere rolige omgivelser fås ikke på Gili Air, selvom det ikke tager mere end 5 minutters gang til strand (hvor vi så havskildpadder hver dag med snorkel) og midtby. Personalet var hjælpsomme og der var meget rent. Myggenet over alle senge var et stort plus!

Breakfast at Chill Out Bar was fantastic

The location is very nice because it's private but near the beach and shops! There is a local food restaurant called Shendy's nearby and it's super fresh and delicious! The pool is very nice and clean, and the area is very quiet. The staff is very nice and caring, and the breakfast is amazing! The breakfast is about an 8 minute walk away, but it's by the ocean and super yum! We decided to stay here for 2 more nights because we love it so much! Would 100% stay again!!

Hele fijne kamer, we verbleven er met 2 volwassnen een kind en baby. Super schone kamers (nog beter dan de foto’s), met genoeg heerlijke kussens en klamboes voor ieder bed (die eigenlijk niet eens nodig waren, want geen last gehad van insecten). We reizen nu al een aantal maanden door Azië, maar dit was de schoonste kamer. En het ontbijt was ook zeer royaal. Genoeg keus en grote porties. We komen hier zeker terug.

The staff was exceptional. The pool was perfect and the rooms were cool.

Located a short walk to the beach yet far enough to escape the irritating beach bar music. 10 minutes walk to downtown. Smaller property with lovely gardens. Has cold / hot water machine with tea and coffee supplied. Nice outdoor sitting area but does become hot so an overhead fan would be nice. Room is comfortable with outdoor bathroom. Air conditioning works well.

Getting tired and a little pricey. Management say renovations happening soon. Bathroom cleaning sub standard. Doesn't look like floor gets scrubbed and the shower tiles certainly do not. A build up of soap scum and what looks like bird excreta evident. Was like it for 3 days we were there. That's very bad.

+ water dispenser and fridge the in room + shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap + Outdoor shower is very nice and spacious + Beach bag & beach towel in the room + room bery clean, was tidied up and cleaned every day❤️ + Breakfast has lots of options, European and Indonesian, proper coffee included like cappuccino, espresso. Breakfast place is 10 mins away, no problem for us. We like walking early morning when it’s not too hot.

We liked everything here. My only recommendation would be electric sockets. There is only one single socket under bedside table. A couple plugs over the bed side table would be much appreciated , for phones, camera and power bank.

The breakfast was wonderful and all the staff on both restaurant and bungalows. The breakfast is at chill out restaurant so rent a bike first day for easy access, then you can stay and use their sunbeds for free on the wonderful beach. Hotel garden and pool very nice and staff very helpful. Nice detail that unlimited water was provided.

Maybe hard to do something about but pool was constantly so hot it didn't help you cool down. It wasn't a fresh dip in the pool. Also with one of our bungalows it smelled bad, like there was waterdamage in the room. I was also chocked that in the picture it looked like both beds had mosquito nets but it was only the double bed so our toddler had to sleep without. But good that mosquito plugs were provided.

Pool ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Stört aber nicht. Lage ist super ruhig und troztdem schnell bei den Restaurants. Frühstück gibt es 10 Min zu Fuß entfernt, aber auch kein Problem. Ist wahrscheinlich sogar eins der TOP 3 Restaurants dort auf Gili Air. Alle sehr freundlich und Wäscheservice war auch sehr unkompliziert.

Personnel adorable très flexible on a checkin en avance et on a pu profiter de la piscine après notre checkout sans soucis. Petit déjeuner très bon sur la plage (a 10 min de marche) avec transats inclus. Eau potable à disposition avec aussi des grandes serviettes de plage. C’était super!

Le petit dej un peu loin mais ça serait chipoter surtout que la balade pour y aller était très jolie

Estaba muy limpio, te reponían las aguas todos los días y estaba en muy buena ubicación cerca de la playa y punto de tortugas

La mezquita está cerca y se escuchaban las llamadas a la oración, sobre todo era molesto la que sonaba a las 5 a.m. pero es algo inevitable en casi prácticamente toda la isla (pasados dos días te acostumbras)

Hôtel parfait pour découvrir Gili Air. Les chambres sont magnifiques et le personnel est vraiment très gentil et accueillant. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits, on serait bien resté plus longtemps. A savoir le pt déj n'ai pas servi sur place mais dans un restaurant sur le front de mer...il faut marcher 10 mn environ pour y aller.

Fantatstisch verblijf op Gili Air. Heerlijk rusig, kleinschalig parkje met aantal vrijstaande en geschakelde bungalows. Het parkje is heel groen en wordt erg goed onderhouden. Wij vonden het nog mooier dan op de foto's. Ook de bungalows zijn van binnen goed onderhouden en verzorgd (wederom beter dan op de foto's). Het personeel is super vriendelijk. De eigenaresse is een local, wat ook zeker een pre is. Het restaurant waar je op het strand kunt ontbijten is een kleine wandeling, langs de mooie stranden van Gili. Heerlijk 's ochtends op je slippers naar toe slenteren. Ontbijt is erg goed. Ook het avondeten is hier fantastisch; verse BBQ! Er zijn een aantal kleine restaurantjes in de buurt (waaronder Shendys Cafe, 100m, ook een local) waar je fantastisch kunt lunchen/dineren. En: Turtle Beach is 2m lopen, dus voor het ontbijt even snorkelen tussen de schildpadden en het mooie koraal is een uitstekend begin van de dag - gratis en voor niets. Absolute aanrader!!

Nous avons aimé absolument tout. L’emplacement, le bungalow, la piscine. Idéalement situé, nous avons pu accéder à la plage qui se situe à 4 minutes et nous y avons fait du snorkeling. Proche des restaurants.

La ubicación es perfecta, a escasos minutos de Turtle Beach. El desayuno muy rico y abundante,. Aunque es cierto que el restaurante está a 10 minutos del hotel, está en frente de la playa y luego puedes usar sus hamacas gratuitamente. Las habitación están bien y la piscina muy bonita.
