An amazing place to stay in Siem Reap, especially if you want to avoid the crowded areas. The host family is incredibly kind and willing to help you. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. It’s a ways outside of main town, but a short Grab ride away. Thank you for the great stay :)
I spent 10 days here and the family has been always very kind and helpful with tips. My bedroom was very comfy, the bed mattress was super good, ac regularly working. I really recommend this stay if you look for a quite , simple and clean place in a local business. The house is super quite, immersed in the vegetation, but only 200 mt from the main road with many local markets , local restaurants, banks & atms , electronic shops and a tuk tuk parking station. 15 minutes of walk to the river and Wat Bo temple.
I cannot have eggs for breakfast every morning, but this is my only my personal taste :))
Very friendly and helpful owner. Homesteading is located in a quiet and peaceful area approximately a 15 to 20 minute walk to the center of Siem Reap once you have your bearings. Room spacious and clean. Appreciated the availability of a kettle and fridge. The family pets of 2 dogs friendly and quiet. Owner kindly met me at the bus station and arranged a tuk=tuk for my return journey to the bus station.

Nice ethnic apartment and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful
I don’t know of any thing wrong here
Peaceful and relaxed.
Very comfortable, idyllic location in a natural environment. Can hear chickens, insects - all very peaceful. Excellent Wi-Fi.
I liked the service, the rooms were simple but very decent
The roads were in very bad condition to get to the hotel
I truly loved every bit of my stay here. The place is peaceful and relaxed, tucked away from the crowded center along a quiet road surrounded by ponds and the sound (screams...) of frogs. The host family is warm and welcoming, and Rathanak is a wonderful host. He was very helpful in many ways, from arranging a motorbike rental to recommending great local restaurants, and he was like my personal Virgil, answering all my questions and curiosities about the local culture. My room was spacious and comfy, decorated with a cute personal touch. Breakfast was freshly made every morning by his wife. If I ever return to Siem Reap, I would low-key stay here again!
Nothing. Just keep in mind that if you prefer staying right in the city center, this place is about 2 km away. Very convenient by motorbike, though on foot it can feel a bit far.
Endroit charmant un peu éloigné de la ville donc au calme.
L’isolation des logements comme beaucoup ici n’est pas bon

The family did a great job setting up this home stay - you can tell they both have worked in a hotel for years. The place has everything you need (even a little „kitchen“). They provided free drinking water refill which helped und save plastic bottles, which was great, too. And: in addition to the two other dogs, they have a charming little puppy dog right now - love at first sight!
The beds were a bit hard (as usual in Asia).
Rathanak and his family have created a wonderful homely stay. Their place is beautiful. They can organise everything for you and have great suggestions of attractions to see and do. They also have the option of paying by credit card which is very convenient. We fell in love with our rooms, and the shower was hot and flowing. Great coffee and breakfast. Definitely made for a very comfortable stay. Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat, yes.
My stay at Siem Reap Homesteading was very comfortable and warm. The owner was very helpful about everything and he even took me to a bus station after check-out.
I loved this stay! The bungalow was the best place I have stayed at during 6,5 weeks Southeast Asia. The room is cosy and comfortable, lots of space, cosy lights, good bed and beautiful decorations. It is very clean as well. The outside area with the little terrace is like a little oasis - perfect to escape from the city. It is also very quiet at night. The omelette for breakfast is delicious and the fruit, coffee and bread fit very well with it.
I don't think there is anyhing I didn't like.
I stayed at Siem Reap Homesteading for 5 nights in late December 2024. What a fantastic break I had!! The location was perfect in a quiet spot at the end of a quiet lane but close enough to the centre of to Siem Reap...a 20 minute walk or $1-2 tuk tuk ride. The room itself was just perfect as well...very cosy & beautifully decorated ,spacious, with a small kitchen area, a bathroom with a very powerful shower, a modern & efficient AC unit and the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in!! But a very special mention must go to the lovely family who were the most perfect friendly & welcoming hosts!! Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure that their guests had a perfect stay. I was especially touched by the invite that I received to join the family for dinner on New Years Eve. I and several other guests spent time with the hosts, their friends & family and enjoyed the most amazing food and company...we were made to feel so welcome!! All in all, my stay at Siem Reap Homesteading was the most relaxing & comfortable stay and the absolute highlight of my 3 week tour of Thailand & Cambodia. It was made all the more special by the incredibly warm & friendly welcome from the hosts. 5 star service & 100% recommended!!
Peaceful relaxing place run by a lovely family
The owner is a good host.
Breakfast options. A bit more is required especially for vegetarian
We loved our stay here. The owners were friendly and went out the way to interact with us and checking if we needed anything. Comfortable beds in big rooms. I would recommend if you visit Siem Reap!
It’s very close with our office bus, the owner very fast response. Very kind, clean place, everything was perfect.
Comfortable bed Nice breakfast served on your terrace was good Spacious room Helpful staff
There were a few ants in the room Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest (hair and dust) Dressing room area very dusty Location a bit out of the way One bar of soap is not enough for 3 nights stay and toiletries/ toilet paper was not replenished unless we asked
Mr. Na and his family were very kind, the place was well equiped with air con and a very comfortable bed in a big room, everything was perfect on regards to our stay, they even can arrange tours for you so you dont have to do anything. The air con is something to mind in a place where you can easily be at 38 celsius or even more. 🫠
Location was a little isolated but the hotel can arrange a tuk tuk to anywhere in no time and the price is around 1 dollar.
The rooms were great, lots of space and very comfortable and breakfast was really good too. Our host organised tickets for us for the circus and for onward travel and could not have been more helpful.
Very nice, clean room. The host was informative and accommodating. Would stay again.
Clean room with a comfortable bed and very welcoming host. Our host arranged as both a tuktuk ($20) and an excellent guide ($40) for Angkor. He also rented us a motorbike ($14) without the usual passport deposit, which was nice. We highly recommend this accomodation, if you're looking for a easy stay with a great AC in a quiet neighbourhood.
Amazing stay! The owner of the property was so attentive. Super clean and modern room in a great location with a good breakfast
Nothing
Nice and very helpful host. The rooms were very big and in a quiet area of the city walking distance to the center.
All good.
The family was super flexible to our plans when it comes to check in or breakfast time. On one day we got up very early to see the sunrise and they prepared breakfast to take with us. The rooms are nice bright and clean. We felt very comfortable during our stay.
Rathanak was so flexible with our check in and greeted us when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The accommodation matched the photos exactly and was immaculate. The room is very safe and has a private entrance, the location is perfect and close to the city centre and a good market close by. The breakfast was fresh and plenty provided.
Nothing
Great accommodation, very modern, big rooms and a cute Garden. We had one great and fresh breakfast every morning. The location is central yet quiet. Pub street and the markets are within walking distance. The family is super lovely and helpful and gave us lots of tips for our stay. We were also able to rent a scooter through them. We felt very comfortable and would absolutely recommend this beautiful place. Thank you so much!
We wanted an accommodation with more space as we had come from a small hotel, this accommodation has it all, large bed room, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor patio and outdoor area to relax in. Close distance to Angkor wat and the temples as well as restaurants and cafes. I would definitely recommend to any family couple or solo traveller looking for somewhere safe clean and comfortable to stay. The bed was so comfortable and the manager of the accommodation couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious. 5 stars from us thank you for a wonderful stay
Nothing
Super nice and helpful host, the breakfast was amazing and he tried to fulfill all our wishes. Absolutely recommended.
Rathanak and his family are amazing. They took great care of us. In the morning they serve delicious breakfast. The location is prime, close to Wat Bo and only a short walk into the city center. Felt safe even when going out at night. The room was very comfortable, and spacious with a balcony and a private entrance. Big bathroom and “kitchen area” with a fridge. Overall very modern and you get a lot of daylight. The patio is a nice place to sit and relax. As my brother had a late outbound flight they let us do a late check out as well. Thank you for having us!
Nothing to say here.
The owner was so kind. When I wanted him to arrange taxi to go to the bus station next day, he say " I can take you to the bus station tomorrow" and He did it for me for free despite early morning. And location is Ok its easy to go somewhere by Tuktuk
I understand about shower condition in south east asia but It was tough for me that the hot water in the shower was not working. And some towels smelled.
This is the best place for staying in Siam reap!!!! -Super nice and clean rooms with a lot of ligth and very beautifull garden! Also super nice for sleeping with the sound of nature! -Breakfast are completely delicious!!! A the best is Mr nak and his family!!! They are super nice people and made me feel since the beginning like I know them since forever! He even pick me up and we had some beers ♥️ also when raining wait for me with an umbrella and solve all my questions and inquiries immediately! -Great location! nice coffee for chilling near by and walking distance for downtown but still super relaxing in the middle of nature not in the noisy center also near temple to know more about budism - love a lot this place everything about it is amazing
Everything was amazing!
Super helpful and friendly family run B&B Well organised tours around angkor wat and siem reap We felt very pampered and taken care of
Flexibility of the owner to do the check in and with everything you need.he is very kind and will help you with everything you need. The House is super clean and new and with all the facilities, very quiet and near town. It's a totally one of the best places to stay at Siem Reap, I would come back 100%.
Family place, very cosy and helpful
Great Hospitality ever
The living environment is very good, quiet and comfortable
Good location… Good AC. Complimentary airport pick up and drop off.
There was a stale smell in the room & from the towels. We felt we’d no personal space and couldn’t come or go from the property without being asked where we were going or what we were doing. Housekeeping was carried out without us being informed or asked, but none of the usual housekeeping duties, i.e towels changed, toilet paper replaced, bed dressed, we’re carried out. Our laundry was taken from our room without consulting us and we had to pay 4 times the price than what was being charged if we were to get it done directly ourselves. The host entered our room when were out. Also, it’s important to know that the services offered through the accommodation are way more expensive in comparison to sourcing it yourself.
- very friendly and helpful owner and his wife - silence and peace, morning chirping of birds - space in the yard for the borrowed bikes - tasty breakfast (baguette, butter, jam, two eggs, mango, dragon fruit, tea or coffee with milk)
- if you stay longer, it can be boring to eat the same things - there was a bit of confusion and misunderstanding at arrival with our airport transfer, but it was finally solved - not the fault of the place, but part of the street is like a garbage dump (unfortunately common in Cambodia)
We stayed at Siem Reap homesteading for two weeks and we had a great time. First of all, the owners are lovely people who really care about their guests and their experience. If needed, they are ready to share their tips to make the most out of your stay in Cambodia. The room was spacious, comfortable, and there was everything we needed, including a working desk. everything was clean and well-mantained. The breakfast was delicious! The location was also what we were looking for; in a quiet area, yet nearby the city center.
Good value, quiet location (around 15-20 min walk), comfortable bed, spacious room and friendly host
It was really clean and the owner is super nice
Really take good care of you here - they are very friendly and helpful. Free lifts offered and free pick up from airport. Very comfortable and smart room. I would definitely stay again 100%
Because it's in a peaceful location, it is a bit of a walk in the heat of the day to some places in town, but not far. A cheap tuk tuk or free ride will get you there! There are shops and ATM close by too.
The location is very nice as it is out of the party city centre. The building is new,it’s modern design and equipped with most of what a tourist need. The owners are friendly and the breakfast is good!
Absolutely loved our stay! Communication was perfect, pick-up service was very much appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The owners are super friendly and helpful! Can’t fault it.
Its is not what is there on booking.com.no wellness room not clean, owner just do not do bed PROPERLY, put your quilt on top of the bed you sleeping and leave pillow there not arrange on bed properly, got pictures to prove and 1 day not even do the bed(owner forgot)no wipe Bathroom, shower water on floor very surprise how they got this good rating on booking, booking .com got wrong pictures sent, completely different
Stingy on breakfast, need to ask for extra coffee bread etc, very poor
This is a great place! The hotel is very new and everything is nice furnished and very very clean and comfortable. The hotel manager and his family is also very nice and helped us to plan out trips. We would definitely book again!
staff is nice
Rathanak and his lovely family made us feel at home from the get go and went the extra mile to make sure our stay in siem reap went great. from organising day trip , sorting out a local mobile data sim card and taking us to the best price/ quality shops nothing was too much for them . qe didnkt take pictures of them room but everything was of very high standard we will definitely be back xxx
My assesment of this house is 10, even though it deserves more than 10. This was one of the most enjoyable places I have ever been. The place is a house, nearby which the owners live. The family is wonderful - kind, responsive, well intentioned and speak perfect english and other languages. The transfer from and back to the airport (with tuk tuk) was included in the price of the hotel, which was very convenient. They offered me many variants for places to visit during my three nights stay there with exemplary two day visiting routes and information about each place we are going to visit. Everythingwas extremely comfortable - the owner works with a tuk tuk driver, who was driving me around the locations for the two days I had ticked for and was waiting for me, ofcourse with additional payment. This was a great relief for me since Angkor is very big and instead of drifting around and wondering where and how to go, I was just enjoying this magical place. The third day the owner personaly drove me to 3 more places to visit, as for each he told me very interesting things and toured me around (where it was possible). In the evening he would invite me to his friends and family and tell me about life in Cambodia. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The breakfast was great and full, while for the other meals of the day he recommended me very tasty and cheap local restaurants. It is obvious with what ambition and responsibility they do everything needed for their small business. I am sincerely impressed and glad I met these people and stayed with them !
very very nice small place. clean. nice balcony. big room.and big bathroom. good breakfast. best is the owner who speaks excellent English and who give u a good impression of the real khmer life and always there if u need support. can real rec this place.
Small, family owned and operated hotel. Like a home stay but withal and hot shower. The family may invite you to have dinner with their family the owner will drive you anywhere inSiem Reap and pick you up and drop you off at the airport or bus station. Quiet away from the action of the city.
The prithy & Mutta house again was spectacular! This is the second time I have stayed there. Everything was great. My pickup from hotel was on time! They were very helpful in anything I needed. Laundry service was great as well! Room was clean and cold !! They cooked us a wonderful dinner to (free of charge) It was great to play ping pong with kids again too!!! I will be back!
I had an excellent stay at Prithy & Mutta House. Not the usual “hotel” stay but like living with a Khmer family. Gracious and accommodating hosts. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. My room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Great mattress and pillows. Best sleep during my three plus month travels in Southeast Asia. The wifi is good and plenty of hot water for showering. The location of Prithy & Mutta House is away from the noise and congestion of the Pub Street and other areas of Siem Reap but still close enough to walk to most places frequented by tourists. You will feel like a local staying at this location!
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights on a short trip to visit Angkor Wat. The family could not have been more friendly and did everything to accommodate us, including some lovely flowers in the room and arranging a tour guide and driver for us. The host even dropped us in to town and picked us up in the evenings. On our last evening we were invited to eat dinner with the family, so kind. The room is spotlessly clean and the bed is comfortable. There is a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. They provide a mini bar which is well priced. Overall we had a great experience and feel we got to have a greater insight into local life than if we had stayed at a tourist hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
I’m very pleased with this room. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The best we’ve had in a month we have been traveling. The hosts are very accomodating and are keen to aid in whatever you wish to do in the days you’re staying. I would recommend it 100%.
