No heatpump/AC. You could feel the springs on the matrass. No extra blankets or pillows. The water was very dark brown! Could not drink water, make a cup of tea, or have a shower!!!!!! The appliances was dirty and rusty! To worse place we EVER stayed!!!!!

Furniture was outdated and misleading from photos, old dirty carpets in the cabin and the bunk beds were uncomfortable. There was hair on the sheets, which made a think if the sheets had been properly washed. The kitchen didn’t have an exhaust, which made it feel slimy.

While it’s not modern, it has the charm of a classic New Zealand bach, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We especially enjoyed having a small balcony outside the room, which was a lovely spot to relax. We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and affordable stay.

Late check in was difficult, instructions were not clear or maybe I was given a faulty key to get through the security barrier. Ended up having to park a bit away from the room which was not ideal in cold temperatures.

I didnt like that the bouncy castle and face painting was charged, I thought it would be free for the kids since it was Easter weekend. I was told it was free then told on the day of that it was $1 for 10mins on the bouncy castle and then $1 for face painting. That was the only downfall of my trip but atleast the the egg decorating was free.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026They dont provide any type of blanket or linen, which is alright, it says so on the page, but dont put the photos of the room with linen because silly people like me thought the linen was provided. Also, I dont see the point of having a heater when you cannot plugin it into anything. The room was so cold I ended up sleeping in my car. The shower has coackroaches and no personal was working when I arrived. At least the pillows were good

The driveway through the campground could do with an upgrade otherwise was a nice campground to stay at

felxibality of the staff and the site. having our own shower toilet and kitchen was handy for a family, I also like the celling fans in hot weather it can be very pleasent, nice mornning sun .

BBQs were not working . And the toilets/ showers need a good wash walls and doors etc .mould everywhere but it’s easy to fix !!
