Lovely hotel. Authentic, warm, honest. Great people who run the hotel. Suberb breakfast.

We hadden met een gratis upgrade een prachtige grote kamer. De bedden en het ontbijt zijn uitstekend. Fijn dat de motoren in de garage konden.

Erkelenz is een tamelijk doods Duits stadje, maar je kunt er wel heerlijk eten in de Königs-Stuben.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in der Innenstadt von Erkelenz. Den Charme entdeckt man erst im Inneren des Hotels. Alles ist super sauber und top gepflegt. Alles Fußläufig zu erreichen. Parkmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind vorhanden. Empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel ist in der Altstadt gelegen. Von dort war alles gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war ein continentales Frühstück plus. Ob Ei, Müsli oder frische Brötchen, alles war vorhanden. Die Qualität war sehr gut, Kaffeespezialitäten wurden angeboten.

Es hätte einen Aufzug haben können und war insgesamt nicht barrierefrei.

Frühstück war ok, es wurde alles gut nachgelegt und abgefragt. das Zimmer ist sauber und ebenfalls ok, Badezimmer ebenfalls sehr geräumig, der Einrichtungsstil war eher altmodisch, passt aber zum Hotel. Parkplatzfrage sicherlich schwierig da Einkaufszone.

Badezimmer war kalt, keine Heizung an was für ein gekacheltes und mit Bodenfliesen ausgelegtes Bad hygienisch gut ist, aber Fusskalt und wenn man sich im Bad etwas länger aufhält eher unangenehm.

Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht, da wir zu einer Familienfeier eingeladen waren. Trotzdem bekamen wir morgens vor unserem Aufbruch noch einen Kaffee angeboten.

Wir waren in diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Die zentrale Lage war für uns ideal, da wir zur Konfirmation eingeladen waren und die Kirche in der Nähe lag. Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns das schöne, urige Ambiente mit liebevoller Dekoration. Auch das Zimmer war gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet. Eine nette Aufmerksamkeit für die Kinder waren die Gummibärchen auf dem Kopfkissen.

Durch die zentrale Lage war es nachts teilweise etwas laut, zum Beispiel durch laute Musik von vorbeifahrenden Autos. Das kam jedoch nur kurzzeitig vor. Außerdem war die Holztreppe recht hellhörig.

Außergewöhnlicher und freundlicher Empfang. Sehr angenehm und hilfsbereit der Herr der alten guten Schule. Genauso freundlich die Dame beim Frühstück. Sehr flott, übersichtlich und sehr bemüht. Ein Ort zum Wiedereinkehren.

Super freundliche Inhaber. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Sehr gutes und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet.

Pillows could have been tougher but this I quess is a matter of opinion. Also its good to know that at least our room had a carpet, in case of allergies.

Obwohl von Aussen doch in die Jahre gekommen, eine super nettes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück und netten Besitzern.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Man merkt, das es ein Familienbetrieb ist. Professionell geführt und gemütlich moderner Frühstücksraum.Das Zimmer war ruhig und sehr groß inkl. Smart-TV. Das hatte ich nicht erwartet und hat mich positiv überrascht. Es gibt zudem auch eine Sauna!

Der Einstieg zur Dusche war ein wenig hoch.

Eine liebevoll erhaltene Substanz erzählt die reiche Geschichte des Hotels neu. Die modernen Elemente fügen sich nicht nur schön ein, sie lassen auch an wirklich nichts vermissen!

Kleines Hotel mit guter Lage.

I found the hotel very clean and tidy, with interiors recently refurbished, in particular the bathrooms were equipped with newest facilities. The bed was very comfortable, I had a great sleeping experience and above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had many features that you'd normally find in a 5 star hotel. I have nothing negative to report and can only recommend the hotel.

I love those hotels, rustic, old, squeaking wooden floors. These hotels have character something that is missing with the newer hotels. My room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator), it was big, with a big wooden desk, very comfortable couch, bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was in a small room, the owner greets you by your name and all personal is exceptionally friendly and helpful. You feel here more like a friend than a guest. Glad I had a change to stay here and I will be back.

A very good hotel, located on Erkelenz downtown. Nearby stores, pharmacy, market, restaurant. The room is nice, as well as all hotel. A great breakfast, containing a lot of varieties in a high standard. The staff are very atencious and help whatever you need. I strongly recommend the hotel!

High quality service, room and staff. Very helpful team and best breakfast ever, from the day you arrive til the day you leave. Its in The middle of The city, very well located, nearby bus stop, train station, restaurants, stores etc.

Greeting on arrival was brilliant, very friendly and made us feel welcome as a family. There were no family rooms available, however, our room was rearranged to accommodate us during our stay. The room was immaculate, with a large television and space to sit and enjoy in addition to the main sleeping area. Breakfast was first-rate, with a broad choice including salmon and brie along with the traditional breakfast menu items. The hotel also had free wifi and the staff were always available when we needed them.

I stayed at this Hotel 4 nights on business. First of all the railway station is at the end of Kolner Strasse only a one minute walk. A very freindly welcome on entering the hotel and checking in, The owner then offered to carry my bags up to the 2nd floor as there is no lift. the room was more than adiquate the bed had feather quilt and pillows with cotton pillow case and duvet cover,there was a wardrobe with a mini bar inside still plenty of room to hang clothes and to place folded clothing,also in the room a comfertable arm chair to relax and maybe read,there was also a table/desk and chair the wifi is free via logon details from reception, which the owner will help you with if you are having difficulties(which i was).There is a bottle of water placd in your room and reeplaced when empty.There is no coffee or tea facilities in your room but there is a lounge area on the 1st floor where you are welcome to make coffee or tea to your hearts content and take to your room,there are also menu's of local restaurants in the lounge. Back to the room no air conditioning though the windows will open from the top or open wider on the side hindge giving plenty of fresh air. The bathroom was spotless everything was new from the slate tiling,shower, mirror,lighting, heater and hairdryer there where toiletries soap and sachets of shower gel.adiquate towels. As i said the owners very helpful from arranging taxi's to printing my airline boarding pass. Buffet style breakfast cerials,fruit juices,smoothies fresh fruit cocktail yoghurt ham cheese coisannts bread rolls scrambled eggs boiled eggs a toaster and fresh brewed coffee or tea and much more. Oh and a very comfertable bed and good nights sleep.

I've stayed at the Rheinischer Hof on two separate business trips now, and enjoyed my stay each time. The rooms are all unique in some fashion, which can be a fun surprise. The beds are comfortable, the hotel kept clean, and the service excellent. The breakfast buffet is first-rate. The location is also excellent, a short walk from both the train and bus stations as well as many shops and restaurants. There is no air conditioning, so if you are planning a stay in the summer be mindful of the weather and open your windows at night for some cooler air. When other co-workers have made the trip to Erkelenz, I recommend they stay here.

It is difficult to get a true impression of a place when you stay only one night. You arrice late, and get up early to go to work, so it is little more that a bed for the night. That said, first impressions count. This hotel is clean, friendly and good value for money. My room was large,, although the decor was a bid 1980's and the bathroom was basic, but it was more than adequate. The staff we friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also good. Whilst I wouldn't say "fantastic hotel," I can't think of anything negative to say. Overall, for a short stay, well worth the money and a good experiance for both me any my colleague.

We stayed at the Hotel Rheinischer Hof over the holidays and had an amazing time! Our christmas party was one of the best we've ever had. The decoration in the hotel was really nice! We felt like home. Overall, the hotel has a nice antique flair and a lot of comfort. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We could even use wireless internet at no extra costs. The hotel service is attentively but only a few speak english. However, we were given a menu card in english and hardly had problems communicating. Yet the weather was not as nice as we expected; we sadly did not have any snow. I can only recommend this hotel for anyone seeking some quality time with your family or looking for great place to celebrate special events.
