The room and patio were beautiful and the view is fabulous. The pool is also great! The breakfast was excellent!!

It can get warm in the room and the fan wasn’t strong enough. If there were screen on the windows we would leave them open but we didn’t want bugs flying in.

Very clean and very well equipped. A really nice relaxed atmosphere also.

Die Anlage ist heruntergewirtschaftet, und schmuddelig. Wir fanden Haare im Bett/Bad, die Poolliegen waren versifft, die Terasse war dreckig und es geht noch weiter. Wir sind daraufhin ins 4-Sterne Hotel im Ort umgezogen, das für 3 Leute sogar GÜNSTIGER war als das Bed/Brekfast… der Gastgeber hatte kein Einsehen für die Mängel, wir haben uns bei Booking beschwert

Bom pequeno-almoço, muito boas instalações. O Miguel e a Ana foram super-simpáticos e trataram-nos muito bem. A piscina tem uma vista espectacular.

Heerlijk zwembad en fantastisch ontbijt.

Alles in allem eine perfekte Unterkunft. Ana macht ein wunderbares Frühstück und versorgt einen auch über den Tag weg mit leckerem Kuchen. Wir hatten das große Glück, dass wir die Unterkunft für uns alleine hatten.

Ein tolles B&B! Schöne Dachterasse mit Pool, geräumigeZimmer, komfortable Betten. Das Frühstück wurde perfekt und nach Wunsch von Anna zubereitet.

In den Zimmern zur Straße ist der Straßenverkehr recht laut. Da es sehr warm war, musste das Fenster nachts geöffnet bleiben und der Straßenlärm war ab dem frühen Morgen zu hören. Eine Klimaanlage wär nett gewesen.

Ana and Miguel were very welcoming and great hosts. Ana’s breakfast and hospitality are truly unmatched and made every morning better. Miguel was very responsive and always ready to answer any questions. The house has a relaxed, chill vibe and offers a lot of peace, making it suitable for remote work. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect!

Allereerst willen we vermelden dat Ana helemaal top was, wat een lieverd is dat! Zij zorgt ervoor dat alles binnen spik en span is!

Miguel hebben we nauwelijks gezien, na een Olympisch record rondleiden, hij had duidelijk haast. De accommodatie heeft duidelijk meer liefde nodig qua onderhoud. Bij het zwembad waren de kussens en de parasol stuk, de ligbedden waren oud, de vloer was echt heel vies, een hoge drukspuit zou daar wonderen kunnen verrichten. Het zag er allemaal vrij troosteloos uit. Dit gold ook voor de kamer, jammer dat er geen airco is. De ventilator was oud, verroest en verbogen. Ook het badkamermeubel was aan vervanging toe. We raden deze accommodatie daarom zeker niet aan. Je krijgt niet wat er beschreven staat.

Great Location, Miguel was super kind and helpul, Ana did an amazing breakfast, loved the scrambled eggs and the fresh orange juice, comfy bed, was nice have my breakfast in my room at the balcony one day.

Since my room was located on the road side, was a little noisy, but I close the windiws, on the Fan and helped.

Der Pool und die Zimmer sind super, Ana ist super lieb und man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl.

Leider ist es sehr hellhörig in den Zimmern.

Excelente localização, perto do centro mas longe o suficiente da confusão Cozinha totalmente equipada e ao nosso dispôr Quarto espaçoso com varanda Pequeno almoço delicioso feito pela Dona Ana que era super simpática e muito prestável! O ponto alto da estadia! Piscina grande e bem resguardada do vento com vista para a serra.

O espaço da piscina está a precisar de uma renovação. Tem muito potencial mas serve perfeitamente na mesma.

Gostámos muito do acolhimento e simpatia do Miguel e da Ana que são muito agradáveis. O pequeno almoço é muito bom e a Ana está sempre disponível para, na medida do possível, ir de encontro às nossas necessidades. A localização, limpeza e conforto do espaço são excelentes. A área envolvente também é espetacular. Não tive dificuldades para estacionar.

Surfing holiday with my son, location was perfect, breakfast was great and the pool was excellent when you were between surfing sessions. Ana made the stay so much better, what a great host and Miguel was very punctual and was a short distance away when you needed him.

We liked having a good size bedroom and a very large outdoor patio. Also enjoyed just stepping up to a lovely pool and deck with views.

Alles!!! De locatie, hygiëne en alle gemakken voorzien alsof we thuis waren. Het allerfijnste was de zorg en gezelschap van Ana. Super dank voor de goede zorgen en openheid. En niet te vergeten ook Miguel voor het meedenken. Zeker aan te raden voor een relaxed, warm en hartelijk verblijf. Wij komen zeker terug!

Sehr gute Atmosphäre, toller Ausblick, cooler Strand in der Nähe! Ana kümmert sich um alles, versprüht Freude bei den Gästen und bereitet vor allem das Frühstück liebevoll und lecker vor. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Unterkunft hat einen sehr sauberen Eindruck erweckt.

Obwohl wir beide in der Nacht ankamen war jemand vor Ort für einen Checkin. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und der Service exzellent. Ana ist das Herz des Hauses. Der Pool ist wunderschön.

Informationen am Info Brett zu Alternativen für die Fortbewegung zu Fuss, mit dem Fahrrad oder Bus wären hilfreich.

Nous avons appréciés la chambre pour sa superficie et le balcon malgré le passage fréquent des véhicules dans la rue . La piscine également très agréable et l’attention particulière et chaleureuse de Ana.

I would have written a far more positive review if the cleaner had been warm and, more importantly, if the manager—who was initially very kind when he learned my mother had experienced a life-threatening health event—had not later behaved in such an aggressive and threatening way. I had intended to pay for an extra night, which I hadn’t booked in advance, but I forgot to withdraw the funds beforehand. I was lecturing that day and dealing with a significant family crisis. Despite this, the manager responded with extraordinary hostility. In all my years of travel across 60 countries, I have never been spoken to with such verbal aggression or accused so harshly by any hotel staff. He threatened to remove me from the property in the middle of my lecture and refused to give me even 15 minutes to move to the next break so I could go to a cash machine. I ended up crying in front of my students—something that has never happened in 16 years of lecturing. It was deeply embarrassing and left me completely shaken. Even when I offered the majority of the payment in cash from my wallet and suggested the cleaner come to the room to collect it—so I wouldn’t need to leave the screen, and as the door was not locked—he refused, insisting it wasn’t her job. This was outrageous, as she was the person I had previously given money to and was required to give the money to again. But instead of her coming to the room, I had to leave mid-lecture, walk down one flight of stairs, and hand her the money outside the room—because she was clearly not instructed to come up. He then began bombarding me with repeated texts and phone calls during my lecture—calls I could not answer—further escalating my distress. I was accused of not respecting his job and subjected to a tirade in which he seemed entirely determined to centre himself and demand recognition for his so-called kindness, which, to be honest, amounted to basic human decency. I cannot imagine anyone not being supportive in that moment.

Amazing hosts!

I loved our stay here. Felt very cosy and homely. Comfy beds and room, even had a bathrobe and fluffy slippers which was a nice little plus. Balcony overlooking a nice view and within close proximity to the centre of Ericeira and plenty of beaches, we had a car so getting around was easy. On foot it would be a bit far to the centre. Breakfast had plenty of options and was tasty! All in all great value for money and we would definitely stay here again when we return (which is highly likely 😉)

Nothing! The only point I could find is that there didn't seem to be A/C but maybe I'm wrong. No problem for us since it was still not too warm in June and we didn't need it, there was a fan and that sufficed for us.

We enjoyed the pool. We also enjoyed spending time with Anna.. Obrigado !

I Everything was great except for parking

Absolutely loved our stay at Beachouse. Host Miguel is very welcoming, and Ana who makes breakfast is amazing, she cooks great food and creates a lovely energy in the guesthouse. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Pool area is very nice. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure! Thanks guys :)

Nothing, everything was perfect

Breakfast was fantastic and location lovely.

A lot of passing traffic.

The area is quite, 5 minutes drive from the center. Free parking in the street. The time in the property was perfect to us. Diana and the staff was kind.

The staff was so kind and helpful. Very friendly. The location was central and the place itself was just gorgeous.

The only thing that wasn't good for us is that when we booked the room I specifically inquired re: stairs because I have mobility issues and use a cane. I was disappointed to find our room at the top of the stairs, when I had been told "the only stairs were a few to the pool." And, asked if I could manage those. I said yes, and we booked. The pool was a full flight up. I never went to see it, so thankfully the weather wasn't so warm that I felt badly about missing it. I would've preferred honesty. Otherwise, it was lovely.

Location and ease of parking across the street. Clean, comfortable, stylish, useful, and great Breakfast!

Hard to say

I loved everything about this place but the thing which made it exceptional is the help of staff. They were super flexible in terms of breakfast arrangements, provided guidance and recommendations on surf lessons and restaurants. Our room had modern furnishing, and the pool area had a beautiful view on the hills. The beach was within walking distance. I loved that there was freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

The breakfast was outstanding with fresh scrambled eggs offered every morning by Ana. The pool was a good size, very relaxing and has a great view. Diana and Marlies were proactive and helpful. Excellent location for us as we were surfing not far away.

I absolutely loved this accommodation! The staff was incredibly nice, the size of the accommodation and the rooms was perfect (I loved my big terrace), great pool, and walking distance from a very beautiful beach. Around 10 min by car to the city centre. Big thanks goes to Diana, Ana and Marlies!

Really enjoyed the stay! The breakfast was a great start of the day, really cozy, nice and good food☀️ Also joined the yoga with Marlies which was very nice, can really recommend it👌 The best thing was the friendly hosts, felt so welcomed! You are amazing!!

We stayed 2 night at the beach house. The facilities is perfect. It is a big house divided in single rooms. There is a large pool on the terrace. It was super clean. The breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. They helped us to organise surf lessons and other activities. There is also a big kitchen that you can use whenever you want. The house is very near to one of the most beautiful beach in Ericeira to surf

Lovely guesthouse, good, quiet location near Ribeira d'ilhas beach and Ericeira. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast, lovely pool and view from it. We did yoga as a family with Marlies which was fantastic, and Ana looked after us for breakfast so well, and created a very friendly and calm atmosphere.

Super clean guest-house in a good location for Sintra, Obidos, Lisbon and the beautiful beaches around Ericeira and the Silver Coast. Diana was a helpful, friendly host and Ana, who made breakfast, was a lovely, sweet person. Small guest-house, so we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Large swimming pool with lovely views.

I think it's a bit basic with a relatively high price. Room is OK but no aircon. I think the term beachhouse is confusing since its not on the beach or on walking distance.

The location in reference to how close it was to a great beginners/intermediates surf beach. The pool is beautiful. It is very quiet. And of course, Anna.

It didn’t bother me because I love to walk/run but is a little distance away from the main town. Others staying at the beach house had a hire car and it wasn’t a problem.

Luxurious rooms, private terrace, pool with a view and friendly hosts. A little gem on the edge of Ericeira allowing you access to the beaches, bars and restaurants in town with the tranquility of surrounding countryside.

The attention was really great, the room and also the views. It was like a dream! My partner and I enjoyed so much this place, and wanna go back there!!

Small but good breakfast! Fresh ingredients

Amazing staff, great breakfast, perfect for our stay. the facilities are very good, very nice pool on the top, and nice area to relax. Beds are very comfortable.

What’s not to like about the Beachouse? It is a beautiful, pet-friendly B&B located just outside of Ericeira. We were warmly greeted by Diana, and a lovely bottle of wine & cheese. Throughout our stay, we experienced amazing hospitality: comfortable beds, robes and slippers, quality soaps & shampoo, beach towels for the pool, a gorgeous breakfast spread prepared fresh daily by chef Ana, and a private terrace. I could go on and on….The Beachhouse is located just a few minutes drive from Ericeira center, and is within walking distance of the gorgeous Ribera d’Ilhas beach. We spent a leisurely few days watching the surfers at the beach and then returning to the Beachhouse to relax on the terrace or by the pool. I have stayed at many wonderful accommodations through Booking.com. This place surpasses them all! The photos of the room below were taken after 2 days, so any mess is reflective of us; not the Beachouse! Also included is a photo of the breakfast spread provided for two.

Not actually a “didn’t like” but suggestion: it would have been nice to have a shelf or small vanity table in the bathroom to put our toiletries. There is room in the bathroom for either, and two women traveling together could use that.

The hospitality, the cleanliness, the comfort, location and breakfast were all excellent.

Great property in an awesome location just north of Ericera, nice and quiet with awesome pool area. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast every morning is a great start to the day.

Breakfast is really good - eggs, fruit, cereals, toast, pastries, and much more. There is a good kitchen if you want to cook, which we did one of our nights. Its about 15mins walk to the beach. There is a really nice pool too which I used a lot.
