Location was the main focal point as everything was near by. Breakfast was a good spread and served hot. The staff was very helpful.

The room size could be better. Everything else was very good. I will recommend this place to all for their hospitality.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Nalanda in Ahmedabad, India. The entire experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. The staff were professional, friendly, respectful, and always willing to help. The housekeeping team kept my room clean every day, and the hotel maintained a very high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. Although I did not have the breakfast or lunch, I appreciated that the hotel staff called me every morning to invite me for breakfast. I follow a strict alkaline diet, so my meals are quite specific, and I chose to eat fresh local fruits instead. Their thoughtfulness and excellent customer service were truly appreciated. The security staff were courteous and made me feel safe throughout my stay. The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and excellent service that made my visit enjoyable. I would like to sincerely thank the management and the entire Hotel Nalanda team for their outstanding hospitality. If you are visiting Ahmedabad for business or tourism, I highly recommend Hotel Nalanda. It is a place where guests are treated with care, professionalism, and respect. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to India.

Mr Singh the receptionist was amazing. He waited for me till.i check in and made sure I got my room ready prior. My check out was early at 5am as I was catching a train. He made sure I got my breakfast n also got an early wake up call

I have enjoyed every moment of my stay there. Whoever wants to book an hotel in Ahmeabad , Nalanda is definitely one the top options. Thank you Nalanda team for the comfort I felt during my stay.

Bathroom very tiny and the shower curtains were not to the floor so it gets wet all over.

The rooms were alittle small and sometimes the water was cold in showers but was sorted out once asked. The wifi is also terrible.

Great location, for those from overseas it has a permit room. AKA a bar that serves alcohol.

The staff are amazing, nothing was a problem. We felt like we were home. The breakfast spread was always on point. Thank you chef for introducing us to Szechuan fried potatoes....for breakie ♥ They were the best !

Friendly and helpful staff

The Manager was very much helpful.He is always available at reception with solutions for your requirements.We really enjoyed our stay over there and would like to stay there whenever we go to Ahmedabad. The Restaurent was exceptionally good and Staff were very cordial. I reccomend this hotel.

I noticed in all the toilet seats, they were wobbly and glue on the toilet seat cover should have been cleaned so it doesn’t look dirty.

Very clean. Room amenities provided. Location was great. Nice warm welcome on arrival. Great staff. Neel and Aaifya at reception desk were very nice and polite. Breakfast was lovely too. Very good selection and indian and western foods. Gym facilities was basic with a bike, treadmill and some dumb bell but still something to work with at least. Honestly, I could not fault a single thing.

Wonderful staff, they all went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our stay, and met our special requests with great kindness and consideration.

Shower curtain allowed water to seep underneath, making floor very slippery. Also a lot of fragrance or incense was used in the property.

Room size and bit small for couple but stay was comfy overall..food was very good.

The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly from the 1st moment during check-in all the way through to the checkout. The room was not fancy but it have all the facilities that made my stay for 12 days very comfortable. The restaurant also was very good. It is very good value for money.

Very clean and modern. Despite a slight hiccup while checking in, the staff went out of their way to make my brother and I feel welcome in Ahmedabad. The rooms were spotless, the bathroom was well organized and the beds were quite large and comfortable. The gym was quite handy and their restaurant and breakfast area was to die for. Will definitely stay again if I’m back in Ahmedabad.

All excellent... Staff Mr. Vinod . (Both) , Nil and Afiya are fantastic front office staff along with restaurant staff . Rooms are cleaned and well maintained. Food is a little expensive but with delicious taste. I would like to visit again.

The room size is a little small however manageable.

The property is centrally located in a very calm and quiet location. We could access all the places specially law garden for quick shopping and street food. Our room was very clean and well maintained and it was very comfortable. All the staff are very kind and cooperative. Especially one staff ( from asansol), I forgot to ask his name while checking out. He was kind enough to remind us early morning regarding out early check out to catch bus and also packed us breakfast for the trip as we were leaving early. I will definitely book here again if i visit Ahmedabad in future.

Staff was cordial, and they are very respectable Best part was we were travelling most of time, hence Hotel Manager packed us an early morning breakfast to go (This is bit rare in my experience someone would do this) Cleaning staff did a good job to clean our room all days of our stay

I found rooms were bit small for 2 people, walking space was an issue, though there were 2 chairs and small table, but bed took most of the space Hotel food is fine (In-room dining), you may have to check Oil and butter level for me it was high, hence if you specify this in advance it would be better

The front office staff- Neel and Aafiya were efficient and courteous. Check-in was quick.Room was clean and comfortable. Items in the room were useful. Breakfast items were delicious. Restaurant staff were attentive.

Unfortunately rooms are not soundproof. However, was so tired that we managed to sleep well. Beds are very comfortable.

The location was good. Staff were excellent - especially Nil from front office (hope I got the name right!). Nil was very welcoming and made sure the check-in process was done perfectly. Gave information about local area and communicated very well regarding all facilities. The room although small was well equipped with essentials. The aesthetic light outside the window was too bright, but was switched off later at night. Could not sleep early with the curtains open due to this (had to catch an early flight). The concierge who showed the room was good and helpful.

The size of the room was small but that is not a major problem as it always depends on building/structural design. Perfect for one night stays. Restaurant staff needs more training on how to behave around guests. They were communicating very loudly with each other. It was not pleasant. A smile goes a long way! Did not notice when I left the restaurant after meals even though I was the only guest there. A big contrast from front office staff.

The staff is fantastic, and this hotel has a nice restaurant that has both vegetarian and meat options which is actually a bit rare in Gujarat. It's very clean and comfortable, and very quiet, I always prefer to stay here on trips to Ahmedabad.

It is the friendly and welcoming staff in this hotel that I would like to recommend most highly. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It offers a wide variety of delicious menu items for everyone to choose from.

You might be a little sensitive to noise like me, so I'd like to point out that these rooms aren't soundproof.
