Location is excellent and staff is very helpful. The breakfast was FABULOUS!! You can order anything off the menu and it’s included in your stay.

The shower didn’t seem to have very good drainage and it could easily cause an overflow.

Great location to stations, shops & PLENTY of eatery options. The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly. The shower I had was huge - probably the biggest I’ve had in a hotel in Athens. The views from the rooftop terrace were great!!

I was in room 50 - right next to the door for the rooftop terrace. While I’m not an early sleeper or a light sleeper, you could hear music from the terrace which was right above me and the sounds of furniture moving. Consider this if you are a light sleeper or like to go bed early.

The room itself was lovely and a great size, with a comfortable bed. The location was fantastic and easy to get around from, and the rooftop bar was gorgeous — a real highlight of the stay. Staff were generally friendly and attentive — I had a migraine on a Sunday and, with pharmacies closed, staff kindly provided painkillers, which I really appreciated.

The shower was tricky to use and regularly leaked water all over the bathroom floor, which was an inconvenience. There was also a minor mix-up with airport transport — we'd booked a transfer, but staff advised us the Metro was the better option, so we went with that. A couple of hours after we'd left, we started getting calls and emails saying a driver was waiting for us, despite us having told staff at checkout we were taking the Metro instead. Not a huge issue, just a bit of a communication gap. My main concern, however, was the hotel's laundry service. Items came back stained and/or shrunk to the point of being unwearable, amounting to hundreds of dollars in damaged clothing. When I raised this, I was told items needed to be flagged in advance for "special handling" — but expecting clothes to come back without stains isn't a special requirement, it's a basic standard. Nowhere at drop-off or in any paperwork was this expectation communicated. Despite going back and forth, the hotel declined to offer any refund or reimbursement, and the responsibility was repeatedly redirected back onto us as guests. I'd think carefully before using the in-house laundry service here.

The staff were absolutely exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely comfortable room and a great sleep. The location couldn't have been more convenient. We'll certainly use this hotel again.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only quibble would be that the rooftop bar with a view of the Acropolis was a bit of a stretch. You could only see it well from one bar stool.

ζήτησα early check in 3 μήνες πριν να πάω και μου αρνήθηκαν. ζήτησα late check in και πάλι μου αρνήθηκαν. είχε στιγμές που μύριζε αποχέτευση όλο το δωμάτιο και το τηλέφωνο του μπάνιου είναι τοποθετημένο σε λάθος σημείο, πρέπει να το κρατάς συνεχώς. επίσης μετά από κάθε μπάνιο ο τόπος " πλημμύριζε" φαίνεται ότι η καμπίνα της μπανιέρας θέλει αλλαγή.

The staff was very approachable and helpful, the location is ideal near lots of restaurants and very well connected.

Our room was on the side of the street where a lot of restaurants are, and with the window not closing well it meant that in the evening it got very loud.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage, schöne Zimmer mit Balkon und ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Perfekt für einen Kurztrip nach Athen, wenn man alles fußläufig erkunden möchte.

Die Gegend und Straße ist sehr laut, jedoch hat das Hotel proaktiv Oropax bereitgestellt. Man sollte einfach vorher überlegen, ob einem Ruhe oder Lage wichtiger ist. Es gibt wenig Abstellfläche im Raum für Koffer und Kleidung.

Clean, good size room and great location near to the metro and nightlife.

It was a quite noisy, though ear plugs were supplied. The lift was tiny (one person with a large bag only), so long wait during checkout hours.

The GlHostel has a wonderful rooftop, is clean and cozy. We rebted the private doble room. It surprisingly had towels,toiletries,shower shoes and water in the room's minifridg . Is not noisy at all, has a nice cafeteria that we haven't tried but looked really nice. Staff is kind and helpful. The position is perfect to walk around and do most of the sightseeing, streets are safe at night around the hostel. I was with my 10 YO and all went over our expectations.

I didn't try the continental breakfast because it seemd a bit pricy to me compared to the local restaurants/ bakeries prices. Every thing else was top notch

It is super stylish, clean and friendly. The rooftop bar is also lovely.

We expected a city centre location to be lively but the windows did not fully close, which meant it was incredibly noisy and impossible to sleep. Such a shame.

The staff were very kind and helpful. They even helped us make a restaurant reservation before our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, within walking distance of many attractions, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby.

The room was quite small, and there wasn’t enough storage space, such as closets or shelves, for our belongings. The shower was located inside the room, separate from the bathroom. We didn’t really like this setup.

Great, central location. Large room, nice balcony. Rooftop bar is a nice touch. The staff were all friendly.

Our room was immediately below the bar and so was noisy, particularly with people coming and going and using the lift immediately outside the room which had an especially loud door. A couple of light bulbs werent working. The drains smelt pretty bad in the room. Not sure if any of this would be an issue in a different room.

Bagno piccolo e non praticissimo...si allaga subito così come la doccia con la porta sul pavimento della camera. Ci sono i tappi per orecchie e la finestra è insonorizzata, ma il sabato sera i locali vicini hanno volumi molto alti..

El hotel es nuevo, canchero y está muy bien ubicado. La habitación es moderna y limpia. La nuestra tenía un balcón grande que daba a la calle, con un espacio para sentarse. El bar en la terraza del hotel es lo más lindo del alojamiento, te atienden muy bien y la comida es muy rica, pero lo mejor es la vista que tiene el bar a la Acrópolis: única. Sin dudas volvería.

Our room was comfortable and clean plus it had a larger balcony than I expected. Check in and check out were very easy, even for an early departure. The hotel is in a great location not too far from the metro and walkable to a lot of the historical sites/popular neighborhoods.

Voor 120 euro verwacht ik een ruim kamer. Deze kamer was klein, geen stoel om te zitten, geen nachtlamp maar plafond lichten, geen goeg douch, hoog wc pot, geen bekers om water te drinken, piep klein koelkastje alleen voor 2-3 klein water flesjes, geen houder voor de wc papier rol.........en erg veel lawaai van de straat vanwege een bar, tot 24:00 uur.

Deilig, moderne rom med stor balkong. Hyggelig betjening. Jeg brukte ikke baren på taket eller fellesområdene, men de så fine ut. Super lokal restaurant rett utenfor døren.

Excellent location, clean room, quite big, with all amenities we wanted, they even restocked the minifridge with cold bottled water! The staff was excellent as well, they helped us with whatever we wanted!

The AC was directly above the bed and breakfast could be a bit fuller, but for summer time I won't complain and will not cut any points!

Exceptionally clean super friendly staff offering a great hospitality experience! The location is super central. Super comfy bed and pillows. Very nice rooftop! Value for money!

The surroundings are quite vibrant in the evenings from local bars and restaurants. Close the windows switch off the Aircon and enjoy a good sleep with earplugs which you will find next to your pillow!

I really liked the private room on the fifth floor and the rooftop as well. I didn't stay at the lower floors (smaller rooms)

I had issues w sound isolation of the room. All a/c of same floor was on my balcony and walls had very poor sound insulation but then I changed my room and it was sorted. I had a no cancellation reservation but had to ask for cancellation of one night and this was not accepted. Fair but still dissatisfaction. Hotel has a terrace bar w excellent acropolis view. Tried to charge €13 for non alcoholic cocktail, after I objected reduced to €10 reasoning they made a mistake. Made me think they did not have firm policy

Amazing location with plenty of places to eat, shop and just walk around. You leave the hotel and walk a couple of blocks and you are within view of the Acropolis. The area is very central and it's quite lively at night which is fun.

It is a little loud but the hotel provides earplugs lol.

Can be a little noisy. The shower leaks through the room as door doesn’t shut properly, and the shower head doesn’t move and is at chest height.
