The mattress on the bed (king size) and the foldout couch in the sitting room area were both very uncomfortable. The mattress was a good size but we could feel the springs in it. Maybe it was just too old? The foldout couch (we didnt use it to sleep on) was really, really uncomfortable to sit on while trying to watch TV. Not sure why, but it was not a good sitting couch.😕

I began calling the property after my husband experienced chest pains on the way to the property. We ended up having to call 911 and he was transported to the hospital via ambulance and later admitted. He also suffered 3 heart attacks in the coming days making it impossible for us to keep our reservation. I began calling the property at 3pm on the day of check in. I was told my room could be cancelled with no fees if the hotel received confirmation from booking.com. Booking.com ( i learned today from the property) did exactly what they needed to do and emailed the property. The property manager and another associate confirmed the receipt of all of the emails sent but now say they won't cancel the room at no charge because my room was marked as a no show despite all of my communication over the last 6 days. So I am now getting screwed because the hotels associates were not trained properly. I am so frustrated and overwhelmed by this obvious lack of care that it will take me a while to do business with this hotel again. Thank you for doing what you needed to do on your end, I do appreciate you. I also just described the person I spoke to beginning on Sunday and the hotel property manager said now he has to open an investigation on safety because he did not have anyone who was a hispanic male working on Sunday. This is unbelievable. Customer service is dead.

New hotel clean modern

Bed very uncomfortable and hard. Toilet paper very rough (sand paper) and the breakfast was terrible.

The location was perfect, directly across from the Viera Towne Center and lots of things to do in the surrounding area. Desk staff was welcoming and had a quick check in. Plenty of restaurants in surrounding area. Hotel was very nice and a good value. I had a ground floor room, which is what I requested, and it was very quiet. I liked the smaller carts they had for bringing items to your room. Handicap parking is close to the front door. The eating area is very nice. Spent some time there just reading. Nice pool too.

The mattress was not comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and slept very poorly. Kept waking up because my back hurt so bad. I ended up lying on two pillows in the bed to try and sleep, but really did not help. The AC unit was noisy; it sounded like the fan kept working hard and making kind of a squeaky sound, then would stop. Didn't matter during the day, but at night, it was annoying. Of course, this is probably not like that in every room. I was in room 129. The chair to the desk was fine, but it would have been nice to have a larger sitting chair with something to put feet up. If one of those had been available, I would have slept in it for a better night's sleep than the bed. I left early morning 5:30 am, but didn't see anyone at the desk while bringing luggage out my car so left keys at check in desk.

Had an issue with the water not working. Was unable to brush teeth, take showers, etc.. then there were small ant like bugs in the bathroom and rooms that invaded our luggage. Hotel could not compensate me because I booked through Booking.com and not directly through Mariott.

Beginning with check-in desk with Katie, my overnight stay was everything you could want. Room was decorated with simple refinement, clean, comfortable bed/bedding. Hotel has all amenities desired. Location is convenient to both shopping and dining. Will now be my #1 stop in the lovely Viera FL setting.

I love everything about the property not far from free way.

The tv had to be rebooted several times to make it work. The smoke detector goes off for no apparent reason. The staff was not social or friendly. The breakfast was not great and we chose to eat elsewhere. Doors slamming all night and noises from the outside bar. A disappointing experience for me!

Shower head provided low pressure and air conditioner kept us awake as we couldn’t turn it off.

Location for Our purpose was excellent.

I am not one to complain. BUT, We made the conscious effort to choose your facility because it had the amenities that we wanted. The BAR on site. Breakfast, pool, gym. .etc. When we arrived we were informed the pool closed at dusk.and the bar was closed because there was a possibility of rain. If that's what you use for an excuse the bar will NEVER be opened. This is Florida. The room was adequate, bed not so comfortable but clean . We chose Fairfield over Home2 having stayed there last time and seeing that they advertise Your bar in their lobby.. Next time we will stay in their EXCEPTIONAL rooms and use your bar if it happens to be open. If I have to walk over this Chilis I might as well have the best room . And that's definitely Home 2

It was easy to get to. Lots of places to go within walking distance.

Very nice bathroom. Newer facility. Breakfast was just OK ... but a positive was a gluten-free cereal option. Comfortable bedding. Room was quiet.

Lots of lamps in the room, but extra low wattage bulbs resulted in room being too dark in evenings. TV control probably needed new batteries ... took a long time to change channels and TV volume was extra low.

Frühstücksraum im Dinerstil - groß und hell. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Dreierlei Kaffee und Tees. Reichhaltige Auswahl. Waffelmaschine. Verschiedene Milchsorten sowie eine hevorragende "Ziegenmilch" :-). Kostenfreier großer Parkplatz. Sehr gute zentrale Lage direkt neben der Town Center Avenue Mall.

the bedrooms were nice and quiet during the night. The bed was good. Breakfast also. Restaurants were 2 min away, very practical.

I don't like the Marriott policy. My husband illness was exacerbated during our stay. We had initially planned to stay until October 6 which was a total of 4 nights because we booked our stay through Booking.com we couldn't get a refund. Booking.com rates are approximately $30 per night cheaper than Fairfield by Marriott. Simon, Santiago and Olivia were very adamant about following Marriott policy. We felt like no one cared about what we were dealing with. My husband health was more important to me. We lost our money.
