The 9 am yoga classes every morning were amazing. The workshops were fun. There is always always something going on. This hostel was more of a community than any typical backpacker hostel I've every experienced. The people were amazing. Such a wonderful creative space. I never thought I'd learn to spin fire until I took a workshop and lit a stick on fire a week later. The view is to die for. I could go on and on forever.
Place awesome, personal so kind and good vibes. Better to have your own bike but it worth it
The view is amazing and the staff really make the stay memorable Ayşe , Ah non became like family while I stayed !
The nature around
First at all it was toooo hippie, and you’ll find people they become their whole personality in that, so that’s uncomfortable in general. Then, it was dirty, thousands of flys in the toilets, the beds were the worst beds I ever slept on etc etc.
Amazing people, nice big rooms & so many spots to chill
The cushions in the shared spaces
Super gooooooood vibe
beutiful comunity space. love it
Amazing property, known for the good people and the vibes they spread! Yoga every Morning, Ice Bath‘s during the day and many more Workshops to do. I loved the nature around, it‘s a bit more outside the town but definitely worth the drive! Thank‘s to Rachel and Dickie for welcoming and caring about everyone.
Within the best place in Pai so far, really love staying there and just going with the flow. Especially all the other beautiful guests staying there were very open and kind, so I had some amazing conversations!
Amazing location that overlooks a beautiful field and the mountains, spiritual vibes, very spacious with many places to chill, cute dogs wandering around, good food available, kind staff
+ Nice location surrounded by nature + Nice workshops and activities + bathroom inside the dorm was great and very clean + Beautiful common area with hammocks, yoga deck etc + Nice snacks, loved the peanut butter bar
- The friendliness of the staff varied a lot between the different people working there. Some were suuuper nice and sweet, whereas others overall made me not feel welcome (no smiles back, seemed annoyed when ordered things or asked questions, ignored me at the counter, etc...). - I did not always feel so comfortable with the other guests. Most of the people didn't seem too open and kinda kept to themselves or were part of very tight knit groups that wouldn't include you. I found it a bit hard to make friends there, even though I joined some activities and am a very friendly person. Think of walking into a space and saying hi to people and smiling but nobody acknowledges you even though they clearly saw & heard you 😅 it was a bit strange and I'm not sure if it's really the hostels fault cause you would think with all the activities etc they do enough to create a social vibe ... my impression does reflect previous reviews so I guess I'm not the only one who felt that way
The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, and the people were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!!
The workshops and the social areas were really nice!
A little bit far from the main street but if you have a bike you'll have a really nice time!
Everyone is sat around smoking weed, even the staff at 8am
Ambiente maravilhoso, tranquilo, familiar!
It's such a nice space with multiple spots to relax in the garden and a rice field view. I think what makes this place special are people. Many of them are staying there for longer or keep coming back because they feel like at home. That speaks for itself. The air purifier in the room - it is very thoughtful during the burning season.
A very small crooked shelf next to the bed.
They had a lot of nice activities every day. Really Social Hostel
One of the Girls working there was really rude. Every time you ask her something she looked at you Like she is annoyed. Heard a few people had the Same Experience with her. Everyone else was really friendly
The best hostel ever. After 5 minutes you feel at home. Beautiful people, super clean, huge dormitory, lots of activities, you enter and forget all yout ‘to do list in pai’ as you just want to chill there:) 🙏 thanks
Tante attività tutti i giorni
Personale non simpatico, aria condizionata al massimo. Chiedete una coperta in più
The view
The bed
Hippie, chill and beautiful place. Perfect if you want to take care of yourself, do sport, yoga, art workshops etc Also super friendly staff and travelers.
A little bit expensive for Pai but worth it
its amazing community vibes
When I arrived there immediately I felt home
Nothing.. everything perfect
Best community, nicest staff, good food and amazing vibes!!!
The manager James is probably the sunniest person I ever met. He just puts you at ease with his mere presence. The activities that the hostel organizes are fun! Also there is morning yoga everyday at 9 which is truly great. Their cinammon buns are midnblowing and the room is very nice. It's the first hostel bed ever in which I fit in lenght! (I'm 6.5'). The garden that sorrounds the common area is very nice and at night there is a fire around which people hangout. In general very relaxed vibes!
The food was very good, but expensive.
Location was very beautifull and the food was good.
Checked out one day prior. It wasnt my vibe and it was very busy. Lot of weed smokers and users. But can imagine that other people will love it! Beds are very wobbly and people are loud.
The place is beautiful
All stuff are helpful and best place to stay you don’t even need to go out all the time there’s some things to do.
Lovely hippie vibe great community
Very uncomfortable beds, loud, creaky and no privacy. Bathroom had bugs
The view was probally the best part of this hostel.
This hostel was nice, I booked it for the veiw and the more chill social vibe. But the veiw was the only proper takeaway. If you don’t have a moped don’t stay here, it’s super far out and was really annoying getting into walking street and back, often having to wait ages for a grab. If you have a moped it would be a lot better. For the more social side, I didn’t want a party, and it’s defo chill. But it’s more of a community and found it hard as someone who doesn’t smoke and doesn’t have a massive hippie vibe to speak to everyone. Everyone’s kinda in their own community bubble, I think a lot of people are volunteers or are here long term. A free shuttle was advertised somewhere, doesn’t exist. And be warned that some of the stuff on the activity schedule you have to organise yourself, it’s more of a here’s what’s on and not like here’s what we offer, which wasn’t clear before. If your looking for super chill vibes, good veiw, smoking and hippie vibes and you can ride a bike it’s probally perfect but if you don’t fit all of this I would say to go somewhere else. It’s a shame cause I really liked the vibes and the veiw but as someone who can’t ride and doesn’t smoke it wasn’t great. The veiw really carried my stay, and the sunsets!
Great vibe, programme of activities, very easy to meet people. Great space to hang out at. Food is good and the dorms are good too! I went alone and had a very good time there.
A very social, busy hostel. Stunning views and free yoga in the morning. Nice communal area, books to read, hammocks dotted around the property and a fire every night. Location was good just out of the center of town if you have a bike.
Heavy drug usage at all hours of the day. Female dorm was good however a male card could open the door to the female dorm too which was a bit unsettling. Beds were very hard and the room was extremely cold at night with only a very thin blanket provided.
The peace of this place! Is just magic, the best experience of my life
People
The shared community space, the schedule of daily activities, so easy to meet and make new friends. The dogs! The sunsets, the sunrises, so many things! The fresh cinnamon buns and the banana bread! 🩵🤌🏻. Free Ice cold water, amazing staff and generous volunteers. Always something going on, you’re never alone at Atlas!
The mattresses are quite hard, and the bunk beds move A-LOT when your bunk-mate moves in the night, whether you’re on top or bottom. Would be better to build/secure the bunk beds into the walls somehow or to make pods. The food menu is ok, pretty average and pretty limited - I only ate there a few times before eating out pretty much all of the rest of the time. I stayed in the female dorm, and we kept getting male staff coming in without knocking to do night time duties, at a time when women are often showering or getting changed. I asked if this could be done by women several times, for modesty and privacy sake, but it never occurred.
The yoga was AMAZING!! An hour and a half every morning - you honestly can’t ask for more. The food is absolutely delicious too, not the cheapest but definitely not too expensive (especially considering portion sizes). All of the complimentary classes are truly phenomenal, plenty to do all day every day. It is also a very sociable place if you’re into that.
The reception staff could have been a little bit more friendly, but I suppose when everything is laid out so clearly they don’t need to be …! Nit picking really, it truly was a great experience overall.
The ambient created by the staff and travelers was excellent. Friendly, calm, peaceful, and positive
L’ambiance et la vue
C’est loin du centre
Amazing hostel, the hippy atmosphere is really cool
Maybe it is a bit far from the center, but the valley is beautiful
Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings
I just could not get behind the vibe of this place, it simply wasn’t for me. Everyone is trying very hard to be a hippie and a lot of guests are very pretentious and arrogant. The staff were also often quite rude (except for Audrey) and the front desk would randomly close at times
The easy access to extra activities was amazing. Great food huge servings.
Not enough blankets for the temperature in the hills !! Lacking privacy in the beds.
There is a lot of events and workshops the whole day. There is a sense of community which is very nice. Nice sunsets and morning yoga sessions every day.
A bit cold in the dorm in the evening. And more cleaning would be appreciated
I loved the bodywork area where people were practicing, training or stretching at any time of the day
The dorms were very big somtheres always someone sleeping
most magical place I’ve been to in my life
coffee could be cheaper
