Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
I am not sure if this is something you have control over, but either a bar/shabeen or personal house was playing LOUD music from Friday night all the way through to Sunday. It was a little irritating.
Beautiful old farmhouse with stunning antiques. Huge room and bathroom. Extra large King size bed. Huge bathroom with the necessary bath-soap, shampoo and conditioner. Under cover parking. Secure. Stunning breakfast. And off course, wonderful wine. Very good wifi. Lovely walk in the garden and estate before breakfast. Fantastic views of the mountains and vineyards.
Nothing not to like. Was just perfect. Will be back.
très belle chambre, petiti déjeuner excellent
The rooms were stunning and modern. The assistance with breakfast was outstanding.
Given the cost, theres lots of small things which would make the experience unforgettable. Filter bottomless coffee, free wine tasting, etc would make it unforgettable. Also disappointing that the manager did not introduce herself while we were there.
I love the staff and the cleanest, very beautiful 👌❤️
Everything - old world charm - superb staff
Nothing
Convenient location and very quiet and comfortable.
The service was impeccable. Taaren made sure we were comfortable, made us an amazing breakfast every morning and friendly service always goes a long way.
Our room was nice and spacious, but not better than the upstairs rooms. I understand why we were given the downstairs room (i.e., we requested single beds), but the upstairs rooms are certainly better.
Sehr freundlicher und persönlicher Service. Schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Herrlicher Park mit schönem Gebäude.
Very good rooms and excellent service and breakfast
We had the most incredible night's stay at the country house. It was very nice, we had what felt like the whole property to ourselves. The woman who attended us was a star, so incredibly kind and accommodating. Her breakfast was AMAZING. The room's comfort was fantastic. The bedding and comfort of the bed made our first night's sleep wonderful. The bathroom, especially the bathtub, was a treat. The estate is large and beautiful - waking up at sunrise to see the sky changing colors against the lovely background of mountains and vineyards was magical. Amazing stay.
It was expensive. The shower drain was also clogged.
Beautiful old house built in 1799 in a beautiful peaceful setting. Restored with modern amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful - delightful.
Everything was perfect.
Magnificent restored old Cape Dutch farm house. Great room and bathroom. Very peaceful
Wi-fi was an issue the entire stay
Both the tub and shower drains were not functioning 100%. The tub overflow went on the floor and the shower welled up and ran underneath the glass walls making the bathroom floor wet.
Magnificent Manor House. Bedrooms are superb
WiFi did not work the whole stay but the host tried everything to fix it and refunded our data and gave us complimentary house wine.
As a returning guest, this spot never disappoints and is really a hidden gem. The staff is attentive, accommodating and welcoming.

Excellent and comfortable place. Worth a price !
I like the place is beautiful and very spacious
A little cold mobile heater would work.
Beautiful property lush gardens!
Needs maintenance
Beautiful estate in very tranquil scenery. Karin was the best and most warm host we have ever seen! We were lucky to be the only guests and had the entire property to ourselves, which made it even more special. Definitely recommend !
The building can use some maintenance, especially the window frames. Otherwise not much
Gorgeous rooms
We didn’t have electricity or water first evening Staff a bit overwhelmed - not very reactive Wellington is not very nice village to hang out
The farmhouse has charm, character, and personality. It really is a beautiful setting, surrounded by vineyards and peach farms. Karen was so kind and really made us feel at home. If I had to stay in Wellington again, I would definitely choose Andreas Country House.
As you enter the property, there is signage. However, a split road causes confusion, and the signage could be a little clearer on the left side. Also, a little heavy on the pricing per night.
Welcoming staff, clean and neat premises
The bedroom.
Parts thereof are rundown.
Beautiful room, spacious with lots of natural lights overlooking a vineyard.
The entrance is not as well kept as the room and poor signage at entry.
The garden was beautiful.
The rooms furniture was really old and the shower not properly cleaned (lots of hair).
Karen, who greeted me on arrival was very friendly and excellent. Breakfast excellent, very quiet. Nice garden and swimming pool
A blind over the upper window in the bedroom (Hermitage room) would be ideal in order to block out outside lighting at night
It was good
Lovely rooms and surroundings. The house was generally unheated but the room had air conditioning that heated rooms very well. The pool and area were lovely in the sun. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good but a little uninspired as it was basically cereal, full English and toast. Avocado, eggs Benedict and other options should be available as well as vegetarian/vegan options
Great. Satisfactory

Beautiful heritage house in the country but close to town. Very comfortable and our hostess went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed
everything was exceptional staff are excellent
We had 1 night stay, was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was delicious. Everything clean and well maintained. Well done Andreas, will see you again🌸🌸🌸
the breakfast was delicious! The freshest fruit and our mushrooms were super tasty
everything was perfect. we have nothing to complain about.,
Quiet(tranquil); beautiful place. Everything you need in room! Ample packing space in room-can stay for a year🤣Bed&pillows super comfortable. Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast. Really nice place to just stay in and relax and close to everything-restaurants, shops, wine estates. Worth every cent! Thank you🙏🏼
Nothing to dislike!
No Worcestershire sauce! No second knife!
Lugging heavy luggage up the steep stairs.
We loved the property and the amazing staff.
Not much to not like, to be honest!
Beautiful home and grounds. Wonderful room and breakfast. A great place to stay to get away from everything.
Loved the tranquility. Karen was an absolute gem.
excellent
The setting the size and cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was great.
Nothing really not to like. If I could I would stay here even when touring Stellenbosch wineries and eating dinners there. Alas, Andreas is just to off the beaten path to make it one's overall home base, which is a pity.
It was gorgeous!
Nothing it was perfect
A great location in a beautiful area. Fantastic, accommodating staff, spacious, comfortable bedroom, beautiful lounges, and quiet and so peaceful. If you want to be away from the Madding crowd, this is it.
Nothing!
The staff were fantastic, however the only thing we felt missing was to have our room turned over atleast once while we were away.
The setting and position was convenient for the wedding we were attending. The garden was lovely. Parking was adequate. House is a beauty and parts are well restored. Our room was fine but plugs and lights did not work and we had elected to leave directly from work and get ready there. It did not go well but we made a plan. Breakfast was ok.
Maintenance issues
The housekeeper who met us and showed us around and cooked breakfast was outstanding . We were blown away that she did everything herself ! She clearly loved her job and took great pride in it .
We were the only guests there and were a little anxious about security
Wonderful breakfast and such friendly staff
Not a big complaint but the toilet light in our bathroom did no switch off. I presume it is meant to be movement sensitive? We were in Shiraz.
Quiet secluded location. Beautiful garden and pool. Lovely spacious rooms

Everything was so amazing! Never stayed a hotel this fantastic!! The best!!!!
Nothing. Everything was perfect
Clean tidy safe and just beautiful surroundings - the bedroom is modern and new and clean and has everything you want / the communication b4 we arrived with the owner was excellent - staff here were so attentive . Recommended local taxi services. We travel the world for work so I feel I have a lot of experience in what’s okay what’s great. Genuinely this place was a perfect little oasis … really worth a visit . Few lovely local vineyards around here to.
Nothing can not fault it
