Mooie omgeving en kamer is heel prettig, goede bedden.

Verantwoordelijkheid en flexibiliteit qua aankomst werd veel bij mij als klant gelegd - 'je hebt niet doorgegeven hoe laat je aankomt' (wat wel zo was via de communicatie met de accomodatie in de booking app), 'je hebt gisteren nog een mail van ons gehad' (een standaarmail en ik ging er vanuit dat het geregeld was) etc. Uiteindelijk kwam het allemaal goed, maar de communicatie was soms wat stroef. Ook bij het ontbijt werden we stipt om 9 uur verwacht ('want snel daarna moeten we de kamer schoonmaken voor de volgende gasten') maar het brood en de eitjes komen om 9.15-9.30. Ook geen probleem, maar ik vond de accommodatie hierin niet zo klantgericht. Wat ik niet vind passen bij de prijs van >200 euro per nacht. En kleine tip voor het ontbijt: bruin brood/ broodjes (was nu alleen maar wit).

Het landgoed is prachtig, personeel erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was top. De bedden lagen lekker en de kamer is ruim.

Wij betaalden €245 voor 1 nacht en hadden geen eigen toilet, dit moest gedeeld worden met andere gasten. Dit hadden wij voor deze prijs niet verwacht. We hebben voor €17,50 p.p. ook gebruik gemaakt van de sauna, maar was erg karig, geen (lig)stoel om te relaxen. Alleen een koude douche, kan wel wat meer wellness gebruiken.

Compleet warm bad

Douche en toilet waren niet via de kamer te bereiken. (Je moet de gang over bij deze kamer) maar de rest maakt alles goed.

The B&B was perfectly located in an idyllic property close to the river Overijssel. The rooms are fully renovated and decorated with exquisite taste.

Only downside was that the toilet, albeit private for our own use, was located down the hallway.

Beautiful location and room. Well placed in the area. Very well equipped with all the needed amenities.

The surroundings of the property are stunning and the views for the morning breakfast are unforgettable. The staff was super friendly and we could rent bikes ( even if not cheap) and breakfast was very good and diverse. We loved the homemade jam.

The property is very poorly connected by public transportation and is not close to any restaurants. The only restaurant within walking distance was in fact never available without reservation a lot in advance. We got very disappointed about this situation with food. The other disappointing experience was the fact that our room was in an attic where we only had a small window we could open so not much fresh air and the light was coming from a skylight instead so f what we w would be a window overseeing the mansion. Instead that turned out to be a picture of a window on the wall. This trick was absolutely terrible to realize when we got into the room. Very deceiving of the owners to say this room has a view. It did not. Moreover, the bathroom was not well ventilated so it kept all sorts of sewage smells

We had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful,

It’s historic site, beautiful vast grounds, privacy and freedom to be about was excellent.

Nothing wrong about the stay, but my friend thought that using the photos of the main mansion, which is not where guests are housed is somewhat misleading and shouldn’t be done. Instead, specified that it’s the backdrop which is no question a beautiful one. It didn’t bother me much but it did bother my friend with whom I visited considering the price/ value for her. Also, the expression having “our own bathroom” was also misleading as it meant walking through a corridor to access one’s bathroom and toilet. Then again, I liked the room where we stayed. Guess it comes down to clear communication least in English in terms of what to expect.

Very friendly staff, beautiful room, interesting decorations. Breakfast is great! The area of Gelderland is peaceful and we saw deer, donkeys, also horse, cows and goats.

There is no restaurant available for dinner in the hotel. We went to the village to have dinner which was also very nice.

My friend and I loved our stay at this fairytale B&B. We were pampered like princesses. The place was spotless; the breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the surroundings with free-roaming animals were magical.
