Honestly the whole stay was just perfect. We loved the room, the bed was so comfy and the design and privacy was terrific. We really loved the food and always aimed to try something different on the menu and each time the meal was amazing. The staff were so kind, we spoke to the owner during our stay and he was an absolute legend. The massage treatment for the couple package left us feeling refreshed and pain free after some full on activities we completed prior (snorkeling etc). We made this our last stay on our trip but next time we will make it our first and longest stay! we absolutely loved it here and truly can't wait to return.

Estaba a unos 18 minutos de Kuta , pero merece la pena, sobre todo si se quieres un plan más de relax. La habitación muy chula y el baño amplio y bonito

Por por poner una pega, el servicio de limpieza aparece de repente, falta poner el típico cartelito para poder indicarles si está disponible para que entren o no. El aire había veces que se apagaba , pero igual era porque se adaptaba a la temperatura Por lo demás todo muy bien

We liked everything. Although is about 15 min away from city centre is a perfect location to stay. We will come back and we will repeat for sure. We loved everything. Room, swimming pool area and restaurant were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and room was really comfortable. Special thanks to the manager Laurent and rest of personnel. They were really kind and helpful all the time.

Tutto perfetto. La stanza è bellissima, super spaziosa, con una doccia grande e molto comoda. Lo staff è stato super gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare. La colazione è ottima, ricca di scelta e super abbondante. Abbiamo anche utilizzato il servizio di lavanderia, al costo di 20.000 rupie al chilo, e ci siamo trovati benissimo: servizio perfetto e molto veloce. Abbiamo inoltre affittato il motorino a 100.000 rupie al giorno, con un servizio eccellente. Abbiamo provato anche la cucina del ristorante della struttura e l’abbiamo trovata ottima.

The massage was amazing in a serene spot. Staff were accommodating with having meals in the room on tbe balcony. I liked how there were cards to play with.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits à Owa, et nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Bien qu'un peu à l'écart, le site se trouve non loin de belles plages. On y mange bien, et le jardin est magnifique.

Die Lodge war unsere persönliche Oase in Lombok. Nach zuvor abenteuerlichen Tagen bei unserer Lombok Rundreise haben wir hier die Ruhe, den Komfort, die Natur und das zuvorkommende Personal gefunden, das wir gebraucht haben. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Allgemeinen ist toll. Die Zimmer sind ein Traum!

The bathroom was giant but badly illuminated, I suggest to add a light at least where the sink is.

The rooms were beautiful, really nice bathrooms, beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Really good food. Lovely staff, very helpful too. Really nice spa. Would recommend.

Het eten was heerlijk! Het zwembad, de ontspannen sfeer, je voelt je meteen thuis. De service ook top. De ligging is inderdaad wel afgelegen, vlakbij het strand van Areguling maar verder heb je scooter/auto/vervoer nodig. En Owa Lodge voorziet je wel van de mogelijkheden hiervoor. Wij komen hopelijk ooit nog eens met veel plezier terug!

De ligging is inderdaad afgelegen maar dat hoort erbij als je rust en gezelligheid wil en zoals overal geraak je met de scooter wel gemakkelijk weg.

Une oasis dans le désert! Voilà le sentiment qu'on a en arrivant ! Superbe vue depuis le restaurant avec les buffalos qui passent. Chalet familial très agréable dans un magnifique jardin avec belle piscine propre. Endroit parfaitement entretenu. On a tout aimé et la restauration est qualitative ainsi que les massages. Avec les commentaires je m'attendais à ce que la plage soit très sale mais c'était mieux que je l'avait imaginé.

Pensez à réserver le restaurant du soir car en sortant de nos massages à 19h30 il n'y avait plus de places et on a attendu 21h25 avant d'avoir une table ce qui nous a généré un peu de déception. En effet, des gens extérieurs à l'hôtel dînent ici. Je conseille au patron de prévenir les clients qu'il faut réserver.

En el restaurante se come muy bien, uno de los sitios donde mejor hemos comido en nuestro viaje por Indonesia. El personal es super amable y nos ayudaron en todo lo que pedimos.

La ubicación esta algo apartada y la carretera para llegar no es la mejor. Eso si, el propio alojamiento tiene servicio de taxis para los huéspedes los cual ayuda mucho, y servicio de alquiler de motos.

Great restaurant and nice breakfast options. You can spend a few days just relaxing by the pool and eating good food and drink.

The beach close by is not very clean. Nothing in walking distance. Need local taxi to get to nice beaches or other food options.

Todo espectacular: el personal super atento, habitación con muy buen gusto. Muy buena calidad de la comida, y posibilidad de darte un masaje a muy buen precio.

Nous avons aimé le logement qui est confortable avec une literie agréable.Douche sur extérieur qui a tout son charme. Le jardin est paradisiaque en plus de la piscine qui est bien sympathique. Et pour finir la restauration qui est délicieuse et faites maison.

We had a wonderful stay at Owa Lodge Areguling. The rooms are beautiful, with spacious bathrooms, and the whole place is surrounded by a gorgeous garden with a lovely swimming pool. The restaurant is excellent, with delicious food and probably the best breakfast on the island. :) The owner was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. He helped us with everything we needed, including organizing a fantastic and very friendly taxi driver, Herman, who drove the blue car with the pink interor :) and drove us around during our stay. By the end, we felt like we had become real friends. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. We highly recommend Owa Residence to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable stay. If we ever return to Lombok, we will definitely come back to Owa Lodge.

Habitación amplia y completa. Baño cómodo y enorme. Piscina cuidada. Personal muy agradable y cercano. Siempre tienen actividades y propuestas, se nota que se preocupan porque el negocio funcione. Facilidad para alquilar moto Merece la pena probar la comida.

Wenn man auf Lombok entspannen will und vom Hotel aus die Insel und die schönsten Strände erkunden will, ist die Owa Lodge eine 10/10. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, der Service exzellent und so herzlich und das Essen und die Drinks waren etwas vom Besten, was wir in ganz Indonesien hatten. Wenn man einfach Strandferien im Hotel machen will, bei welchem man direkt an einem schönen Badestrand ist, würde ich ein anderes Hotel suchen. Der Strand in Are Guling ist zwar schön, aber ziemlich wild und weniger zum Baden geeignet (jedoch wunderschön in der Dämmerung). Uns hat dies jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört da wir einfach im Hotel scooter gemietet haben und beispielsweise an den traumhaften Selong Belanak Strand fuhren.

Wir hatten hier mit unseren beiden Kleinkindern einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die friedliche ruhige Atmosphäre, der Blick in die Weite mit den grasenden Tieren und dem Meer am Horizont, das liebe und engagierte Personal und die tolle gepflegte Anlage haben uns sehr gefallen. Im Restaurant haben wir Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendbrot genossen und das Essen war wirklich herausragend. Klare Weiterempfehlung! :-)

We had the most wonderful stay at Owa Lodge. The staff were amazingly attentive and kind. We loved that there was a restaurant available for all meals if needed. We hired scooters directly from the Lodge and often rode into Kuta which was around 15-18minutes. Yes the rode is very bumpy as other reviews mentioned, but is still very much driver able by car and scooter and is not something you should worry about when booking this accomodation. Owa Lodge is super close to the surf at Areguling and we will be staying here next time we are in Lombok. Thank you

Uns hat der familiäre Stil der Owa Lodge sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war zuvorkommend, das Essen war gut, die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet. Die ganze Anlage ist schön gestaltet (Poolanlage, Bäume, Garten). Das Personal war unterstützend und hilfreich beim Planen von Ausflügen, Organisieren von Fahrern und als ein Badeanzug vergessen wurde, sind sie uns hinterhergefahren und haben ihn gebracht.

Sehr schöne saubere Unterkünfte. Das Essen war top. Sehr ruhig gelegen.

Eigentlich alles super. Etwas abgelegen, aber das ist durch den Fahrservice ja super geregelt. Und einen Rollerverleih gibt es ja auch.

Prima locatie voor degene niet in het drukke Kuta wil zitten. Dicht bij het strand met een paar eenvoudige strandtenten.

Kamer is wat gedateerd en geen warm water. Zou er zelf geen langer verblijf boeken.

The OWA place is awesome! We arrived after sunset and it was the same charming as in the morning! We liked everything. Even the bumpy road that leads to the place is part of the local charm :) The breakfast - awesome! The choices, the servings, the quality. We dined in it's restaurant for the dinner and it was the best experience as well. Beautiful room/bungalow, the surrounding garden, the swimming pool. The manager Laurent and each one of the staff are awesome as well! Taxi service was arranged for us, as well as the bikes rental. Thank you, guys!

The smell of fires, but they are unfortunately everywhere and all the time on the island.

The only downside was the bumpy gravel road towards the hotel.

Staff was really nice. Organising a motorbike was really easy - i expected there to be 3rd party involved, but they just gave one of the Hotel's bikes. Massage was really good as well. It was just 10 Euro for an hour and way worth the money. Too bad we took it on the last day - would have used that service alot more if had an extra days.

Road there was like our taxi driver said "traditional" - more potholes than road it self, but was manageable. In the bar / restaurant there was always enough staff, but they do like to stay in their phones and sometimes it was tricky getting their attention just to get another drink or order deserts. That phone addiction among bar / restaurant staff seem to be general problem in Indonesia. For sure i would have ordered 1-2 beers more per night if i the staff would be more proactive.

Super liebe Mitarbeiter. Sehr professionell und liebevoll geführt. Preis-Leistung auch bei allen anderen Services wie Massagen und Scooter Verleih super fair und günstig. Essen war lecker, Zimmer sehr groß, die Nächte ruhig. Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt und kann es weiterempfehlen

One of the best places we've stayed on Lombok. The food is really good, the restaurant gets a nice afternoon breeze and the staff is friendly and super accomodating. I couldn't surf due to an ear infection but the waves looked really nice, be it a bit crowded in the daytime. Even without surfing you have plenty to do, like fishing, have some Spa time, going on a scooter ride to Kuta town or towards Mawi where there are some really nice beaches where you can explore the coast or go snorkeling. We had the double room with sea view, but you can't really see the ocean. Still, it's a nice higher up room with a nice pool view and a bit more breeze coming in. When booking a massage, I recommend checking the prayer call times and plan around that.

About Owa, I have zero things I didn't like. But, I booked a fishing trip through Owa and found it way too expensive for what you get (1mil idr for 1 person). I guess it gets cheaper when you go jigging with a larger group but then it's still too expensive. The boat is not equiped so well, the captain showed up about an hour late in the morning and speaks zero english making it quite hard to really get the most out of the experience. He tried though and with google translate we managed a bit. For reference; I did another, much longer fishing trip in the north of the island for less than half the money with a much more skilled fisherman/captain and way better boat. Luckily, I brought my own gear on the boat and managed to catch a bluefin travelly which was then bbq'ed really nicely by the staff at Owa so in the end it was still a nice experience.

The staff were very friendly and always accommodating! The stray cats around the property were very cute as well. The decor was lovely and the food was always delicious.

The location was at the end of a poorly-maintained road, so going in and out was quite bumpy and difficult. The bungalow itself was not fully sealed, so there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in even when the door was closed. The connection, even with data, was very sparse and only in the restaurant area, but they did specify that in the listing.

Heerlijke plek. Rustig en sfeervol. Goede douche, lekker deels buiten. Fijne klamboe bij bedden. Geweldig restaurant. Lekkere koffie in de ochtend.

Zwembadwater leek iets minder van kwaliteit. Accommodatie redelijk basic, maar helemaal prima voor ons. Wifi alleen bij restaurant, was soms balen maar eigenlijk heerlijk!

Neuvěřitelně dobrá kuchyně včetně snídaní, vynikající káva a smoothie. Kokosy z vlastní tropické zahrady a zelenina taky z vlastní zahrádky. Personál byl přátelský a doslova nám přirostl k srdci. Zahradník je naprosto skvělý chlapík, pomáhal najít žížaly pro muže z naší výpravy, aby mohli chodit na ryby. Otevřená koupelna, kde déšť stéká přímo do květináčů ze slaměné střechy je taky naprosto úžasné řešení. V ubytování je vesnický klid a z restaurace je vidět na pasoucí se buvoly v blízkosti pláže, která je mimo jiné vhodná i pro surfaře. Bazén je moc příjemný a je možné se okoupat kdykoli. Kombinace těchto drobností nám udělala dovolenou tak skvělou, že jsme odjížděli s těžkým srdcem.

Vše bylo skvělé, děkujeme personálu za úžasně strávený čas v jejich areálu.

Manažér, Personál, bazen, aj jedlo bolo skutočne vynimocne, najlepšie na Lomboku:) určite sa tam ešte vrátime. Dali sme si aj Masaze, aj skúter požičali z ubytka :)

Tout, et en premier lieu la cuisine excellente (la meilleure que nous ayons goûté en Indonésie !), le cadre calme et intime près de la plage, la chambre et sa salle de bain de luxe, le spa…

After six nights in Kuta, it was nice to relocate for 4 nights to a more quiet location on this bay. The resort is small but nicely put together. We stayed in one of the two villas, my daughter taking the bed upstairs. It was a bit hot up there, even with the additional AC unit up there. The staff was very nice and my daughter enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our stay. I don't have breakfast but enjoyed the coffee there. We only had dinner at the restaurant once because we ventured out to other places in the surrounding countryside. It was good and service was always great. The beach is very clean and quite nice, attracting a lot of surfers.

This is a pretty remote setting, so, you are best to have rented a scooter unless you want to be stuck there. Of course, you can always take a taxi but that gets expensive quickly. We had a scooter and explored a lot. Sadly, the 1km road, if you can call it that, from the main road is very rough, mostly not paved and greatly in need of some grooming, especially if it rains nearly every day. Also unfortunate was the fact that there is major construction on both sides of the property, which involves considerable noise. This couldn't be controlled by the resort, just be aware of it as it will probably go on for another year or so. Even though you are out in the middle of nowhere, there are two mosques quite close to the resort. The prayers 5 times a day I can't quite get used to , but so it is. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, there's certainly lots of space. While the beds are comfy, the bedding was a bit heavy for the climate. If the road were fixed and the construction ended, I'd certainly return.

Rumore di costruzione nelle vicinanze, iniziavano a lavorare presto e andavano avanti fino a tardi, verso le 10-11 di sera. Capisco che il problema non è dovuto alla struttura in quanto il rumore non preveniva dalla struttura ma dai vicini, ma avremo preferito che ci avverserò avvisati prima della prenotazione di questo problema. L'internet funziona praticamente nel ristorante e qualcosina nella piscina, non funzione nella stanza.

Customer service was amazing! Everyone is so friendly and always happy to help. Location was perfect for us. 15 min away from Kuta centre, very green and relaxing, super close to the beach (great for swimming and surfing). The accommodation offers to arrange scooter rental, taxi, excursions, laundry.. We rented a scooter with them and it was great. Price is more than reasonable and it was in great condition. They also arranged transport to Bangsal port, which again was great and well priced. Breakfast is included and delicious, with many different options. We also had dinner there every night (there are some Warungs around but not other restaurants) and it was also great. Overall an amazing, relaxing stay in Lombok, close enough to Kuta but still super chill.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but the main access can get quite muddy in rainy season. If you’re not keen on driving a scooter, better to get a driver!

Owa Lodge is a beautiful oasis in the village of Are Guling. The staff were wonderful, location perfect and the food at the restaurant was the best we have had in Lombok. We will definitely be back!

Lack of indoor seating in bungalow, WiFi signal in rooms was a bit weak, staircase to upstairs beds (family bungalow) was a bit unsturdy.

It was beautiful and peaceful. Stunning gardens, pool, huts, close to beach, loved the cows wondering, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The place is simply stunning. It’s an oasis of peace, beautifully maintained in every detail, and surrounded by a wonderful vegetable garden with fresh produce — no wonder the food is absolutely outstanding. Its location near the sea makes it pleasantly breezy, and you can even see the water buffaloes grazing, which is truly unique. The staff is incredibly kind, always helpful and welcoming. Our apartment is fabulous, spacious, well-kept, and made us feel at home right away. A charming place, perfect for relaxing and recharging. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, Grab doesn’t reach this area, but the staff is so kind that they will help you find a taxi without any problem.

Amat and Soma made our stay amazing. They were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the stay. The massages were incredible Food was amazing and pretty reasonably priced Coffee was great too Loved the fact that most fruit and veg is grown on site Room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Limpieza y decoración exquisita. Amabilidad de los empleados. Desayuno excepcional. Spa y alquiler de moto dentro del mismo hotel, también tienen el contacto de un coche por si prefieres. Sitio tranquilo, delante de una playa (no la más bonita pero más local y si quieres surfear perfecto). A 10 minutos en moto del bullicio de Kuta. Recomendable.

For the price the accommodation could be better. - Our room was always musty - we had some visitors like a big cockroach. The information to put all food on a box would have been nice - because there is no wind it stays quite hot in and around the house, only in the restaurant area is a nice wind - no wifi in the room, only at the restaurant

Nagyon kedves személyzet, mindenben tökéletes szállás. Érdemes robogót bérelni, mert Kuta várostól kicsit messzebb van. A szálláshoz közeli part nagyon szemetes, de ez nem a szállás hibája. Szörfözésre tökéletes. Robogóval pár perc minden gyönyörű part. Étterme kiváló. Erősen ajánlott

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und sehr stilvoll gestaltet. Die ganze Anlage, inkl. Pool, wird täglich gereinigt. Der Kaffe und das ganze Personal (inkl. Besitzer) sind äußerst höflich, engagiert und sympathisch!

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist sehr holprig, vermutlich aber durch kurz zuvor starken Regen verursacht.
