Tropische grüne Umgebung, absolute Ruhe, gemütliche authentische Villa, aufmerksamer Gastgeber John (Miteigentümer und Manager), der uns sehr herzlich empfangen hat und alle möglichen Tipps gegeben hat. Er war stets erreichbar und die Kommunikation mit ihm war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert.

Nichts, unsere Erwartungen waren mehr als erfüllt. Selbst die abgelegene Lage ist kein Problem, auch wenn man kein Auto hat. Die Fahrer, die man über Grab bestellt, sind in 5 Minuten da.

A perfectly peaceful stay in the hills behind Mae Nam. The property is very spacious and private which is exactly what we were looking for. The owner John was the highlight though - so helpful and efficient in addressing all our needs and wants including in room dining, taxis, moped rental, restaurant recommendations and more which made the stay very seamless and relaxing.

Tropical Season villa resort is absolutely beautiful! My family and I loved every minute of our stay here. The villa was totally stunning - beautifully decorated with huge windows all along the side showing the amazing views of the hills and countryside and the villa wad spotlessly clean. Gorgeous bathrooms, huge comfortable beds and everything we could possibly need. Fresh flowers in the rooms were a lovely touch and the jasmine smelt divine! The pool was amazing - we spent lots of time in there, it felt totally private and we were surrounded by the most beautiful flowers and plants, with butterflies and birds and nature all around. There are amazing views of the surrounding lush green hills and it feels so peaceful. John the owner is so helpful with everything! If we needed advice on restaurants or activities or taxis we just needed to ask/whats app him and he could book things for us immediately. We felt like we were staying in a piece of paradise and have such wonderful memories of our stay here. We would definitely recommend staying here - 5stars!

Klid a moc sympatický majitel.

Très joli villa, belle vue, au calme, privé, joli déco. Bon prix à cause des travaux dans l’endroit voisin, mais au final on a eu aucun bruit de travaux. Personel sympa et dispo. Location scooter sur place facile.

Tout était bien! A noter qu’il faut soit un scooter soit taxi pour se déplacer. Les taxis sont chers à koh samui. Donc pas point négatif mais à savoir.

Amazing place! The villa is beautifully maintained, spotless, and absolutely stunning. You can really tell that every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The owner, John, is wonderful. He took care of everything, was always available, genuinely caring, and incredibly kind throughout our stay. It was a perfect experience, and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful private villas, with great facilities. Enjoyed every second of our stay. John the manager was also great, and helpful with everything needed.

Die Unterkunft ist wundervoll. John hat auch gute Tipps gegeben. Man konnte gut neben der Klimaanlage schlafen. Es gibt eine richtige Küche. Alles ist sehr sauber.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön in der Natur gelegen, dadurch schaffen es ein paar Tierchen wie Salamander und Ameisen rein.

Loved everything. The villa is excellent! John is a superb host with an excellent sense of humor. He gave us excellent suggestions for places to eat, sights to see, where to go, best ways to get there; even where to get our laundry done (nearby, ready in less than 24 hours and cheap)! Comfy beds, hot water, A/C in rooms and living room, awesome pool; even had a lovely parrot named Bibi spend time with us! There was construction taking place (as is everywhere on Ko Samui) in the property next door, so John gave us the choice of another villa away from the noise and his recommendation was perfect: noise was not an issue outside/inside; very quiet inside the villas. Mosquitoes - also not an issue at all; they come out between 5-8pm, so we planned for it. Kept sliding doors closed and were mosquito-free. We had a rental car and everything was easily accessible, food and beach less than 5-10 min away. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you for everything, John! We'll definitely come and see you again!

We liked everything. John is the perfect host; he and his staff are attentive to every detail and request.

John was fantastic from the moment I booked. He contacted me to let me know there is construction work at the property next door. He gave me the option to move us to a different villa before arrival, he sent videos and we decided to move to avoid the construction noise and we didn't hear anything at all the whole stay. John was just lovely, super friendly, helpful and clearly very honest. The villa itself was fabulous. Much bigger than expected, lovely pool, super clean and the beds were really comfortable. We rented a scooter (which John arranged to have delivered and collected from our villa - this was super convenient) and went to the local beaches every day where there are lots of great restaurants and bars. shops are all a short drive (or longer walk) away. Overall, just excellent.

Absolutely nothing at all.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa in Thailand. Surrounded by nature, it offered the perfect combination of tranquility, comfort, and privacy. The host was exceptional—very helpful, respectful of our privacy, extremely well-prepared, and always ready to provide useful information and recommendations. His guidance made our stay smooth and enjoyable from the very beginning. Since the villa is immersed in nature, we initially expected mosquitoes to be an issue. However, thanks to the host’s recommendations, they were hardly noticeable. During our entire stay, we only encountered a few mosquitoes, which was far beyond our expectations.

Amazing location, not very far from most things you need. Very private with a nice private pool.

John was a great host and made us feel so welcome during our stay. Our villa was a home away from home. Peaceful, private and tucked away from the hustle and bustle but not far from surrounding amenities. The highlight was relaxing under the stars in the swimming pool!

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool, die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. John war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns gute Tipps gegeben wo man gut essen gehen kann und was man in der Umgebung unternehmen kann. Er war auf WhatsApp jederzeit erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Wir hatten eine super und unvergessliche Zeit. Motorrad konnte man unkompliziert in der Unterkunft mieten.

In unserer Villa gab es einen leichten Abflussgeruch, der laut John nach starkem Regen auftreten kann. Er hat sich sofort darum gekümmert, aber der Geruch war trotzdem noch leicht da. Ausserdem hätten wir uns Hilfe mit dem Gepäck gewünscht, da wir es selbst in die Villa und die Treppen tragen mussten.

Dit was een zeer aangename villa waar alle faciliteiten aanwezig waren. De inrichting werd duidelijk goed doordacht: perfecte bedden, goed werkende smart TV’s, ruime badkamers met alle denkbare voorzieningen aanwezig. De tuinen en paden rondom de villa’s zijn weelderig en perfect onderhouden. John stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen met info, taxi enz.

Everything! John was an amazing host. All the hotel staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. We felt so at home. The villa was beautiful and we loved the location and the nature around the villa, the sounds of the birds in the morning was one of the highlights. Max the dog was so cute and the parrots! We would highly recommend John’s resort. And we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much John, we would always stay here if we return.

Villa was beautifully furnished and very clean. Private pool provided a nice retreat after exploring Koh Samui. John the host was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had including organising scooter hire for the 2 weeks we stayed. We would definitely return here.

Currently a lot of construction happening close by, which John did explain to us prior to our stay, however it did limit our ability to enjoy the villa during the day. However John did move us to a different villa during the 2nd week of our stay which was further away from the work going on.

Pobyt był świetny, lokalizacja jest idealna, blisko do centrum miasta, ale domki są w cichej okolicy, na żywo jest dużo lepiej niż na zdjęciach. Jakbym miała wrócić na Samui zatrzymałabym się jeszcze raz. Sam gospodarz bardzo pomocny a na terenie obiektu czuliśmy jakby nikogo oprócz nas nie było :) Polecam każdemu 😊

We've had a great stay at our villa. It was very private, super comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the terrace and the lovely nature around. The bed was very comfortable. The villa is cleaned every day, the host is very attentive. We had a minor issue with the a/c and he fixed it very quickly. There is a lovely parrot that lives in the area and it came to visit us a few times. Very enjoyable experience. If you need anything like renting a scooter, food recommendations or anything at all John the host is right there for you.

There is a construction going on next to the villas, but we were informed about it in advance and no regrets we chose this place. There is a waterfall wall and a bamboo decoration that helps with avoiding it. Construction is basically everywhere on Samui now, so you just go with it i believe.

They where building villas next to us and there was noise but overall i had no other problems! Also the owner was very friendly and helpful!!

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing overall. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud, making it very hard to sleep. On our last day, our bags were left unattended at the reception desk instead of being stored securely as promised, which felt careless and unprofessional. There were also no supporting staff to help with our baggage to and from the room, which added to the inconvenience. In addition, there was an umbrella from a previous guest left in the room — it was ant-infested and should never have been overlooked during cleaning. When we requested it be removed, it was simply cleaned and then left by our door, which was not an acceptable solution. The bathroom also showed poor upkeep, with a heavy build-up of limescale around the shower taps. That said, the manager was helpful and provided good local recommendations, which we appreciated. However, the overall standards of cleanliness, service, and care fell far below expectations, and we left feeling let down.

Superhelpful and friendly host, bed was amazing, babyfriendly! Perfect if you love birdwatching, checking out squirrels with your morningcoffee or just enjoy the outdoors. Easy transfer to beautiful beaches with almost no visitors. Spacious villa with lovely terrace, pool and amenoties. Fishermen village is also just a short drive away. Get your breakfast at sweet and salty, enjoy the best pad thai at “Tree house silent beach”.

Everything was perfect for a stay with our baby (1,5years old). Some minor problems were fixed instantly.

Staying at the Tropical season villa was the best choice we made...the owner John was so helpfull and gave us the best tips for avoiding the commercial busy spots of the island...the villas are tasteful with private pool...i definetely recommend !

Wir hatten eine Villa mit 2 Schlafzimmern (jeweils mit eigenem Badezimmer), und einem sehr schönen Pool. Die Anlage liegt etwas abseits mitten in einem herrlich angelegten tropischen Garten. Man fühlt sich hier von den Massen, die auf der Insel unterwegs sind, gut abgeschirmt. Die Villa war sehr sauber & geräumig und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. John ist ein toller Gastgeber, kümmert sich um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste und gibt sehr gute Tipps. Wenn man Ruhe, Natur & Abgeschiedenheit sucht und auf die Nähe zum Strand verzichten kann, ist die Unterkunft perfekt! Merci beaucoup John!

Man muss wissen, dass man hier motorisiert sein muss. Wir haben uns weder Auto noch Mopeds gemietet, waren immer mit Taxi unterwegs. Dank „Bolt“ ist das kein Problem, keine / kaum Wartezeiten, man muss dabei für jede Fahrt mit ca. 300 THB rechnen.

Peaceful and comfortable villas with a beautiful location in my jungle. The villa is clean and smells nice. It is about 30 minutes walk to the beach, but several restaurants and shops were closer to the house. The host is the best. He was afraid that the construction work in the area bothered us (it did not), and gave us drinks from the minibar for free. He also gave us plenty of useful recommendations for restaurants, all of them were fantastic. He even drove us to the store to buy beer. Extremely hospitabel! Loved it!

De manager John en zijn staf zorgen voor een heerlijk verblijf. John regelt alles wat je nodig hebt: transport, excursies, e.d. Verder heeft hij goede tips voor eten en drinken op Koh Samui. De locatie ligt wat afgelegen, maar daardoor is het erg rustig. Met een scooter of auto ben je zo bij de hot spots. Wij hebben en heerlijke ontspannen week bij Tropical Season Village Resort gehad!

Ik kan zo niets bedenken.

Die Villa ist traumhaft. Wir konnten richtig abschalten. Ein kleines Paradies. Auch der Besitzer ist super zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

Les jeux de lumière partout dans la villa, la propreté, le lit confortable et surtout la piscine privée avec ses led. Il y a un jardin absolument magnifique avec des cocotiers partout. Ce logement est le plus beau que j’ai eu en Thaïlande malgré les 5 autres endroits que j’ai visité.

Where do I start? We had an amazing time at this villa, secluded and away from the main road, you can hear birds chirping throughout the whole day. The villa is clean and cleaned every single day. John was a great host and will tell you all the secrets of Koh Samui and avoid all the tourists and the authentic local spots.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Johns Villa extrem genossen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und die Villas mit dem eigenen Pool sind aussergewöhnlich. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt wärmstens. John ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns bei allen Fragen immer weitergeholfen hat und auch viele tolle Restaurant- und Ausflugstipps hat. Er kennt Koh Samui wie seine Westentasche. Nochmals ein grosses Dankeschön von uns für die tolle Zeit in den Tropical Season Villas.

The villas are well appointed in a nice peaceful setting surrounded by bush, coconut trees and greenery. It’s a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy areas, which is perfect for having a bit of peace and quiet and makes for a more relaxed setting. Yet, its is a short distance by scooter for everything you want to go and explore or enjoy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and serviced the villa daily and kept everything clean and tidy. John, the proprietor, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he knows the island well and was always keen to assist with anything. He was always super keen to assist with anything, and assisted me with everything from renting a scooter to getting me a taxi to the airport. This level of personal pride and attention is amazing and gives it a real personal touch.

Very peaceful resort where you can hear the sounds of nature. The villa was extremely well equipped. The pool was amazing, and both the pool and the villa were extremely private. Some excellent recommendations from the host also. We will be returning.

John ist ein toller Gastgeber mit sehr guten Tipps. Die Villa war sehr sauber und trotz Baustelle war es sehr ruhig. Motorrad miete ist ein muss aber wenn du über John buchst, wird dir das Motorrad geliefert und abgholt. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Resort

Die Düsen im Pool sind entweder Fake oder funktionieren nicht, was schade war.

It is beautiful! From the layout of the villa to the surrounding gardens - it is quiet and beautiful. John is a great host - gave us the run-down on the local food options, and has built a lovely little resort...although it felt like our villa was the only one on the side of the hill.

John’s Tropical Season Resort felt like stepping into paradise. We chose it because of the glowing reviews and the promise of birdsong – and it was exactly that. Even before arrival, John impressed us with his honesty, informing us about nearby construction and offering solutions. On arrival he welcomed us with open arms and gave recommendations that turned out to be spot-on – trust him, he knows best! We stayed in Villa 6, surrounded by flowers, palms, and absolute privacy, with daily visits from his sunny parrot that we truly miss. The housekeeping team was always kind, bringing fresh water and keeping everything spotless. John’s honesty and warm spirit shone through every moment of our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer – but we’ll certainly be back with our family. Thank you, John, for this unforgettable experience!

There is nothing we did not like. John mentioned the construction going on before and honestly we didn’t felt like it was big of a deal. Definitely not a reasons not to stay here, this place is magic!
