Tudo muito bom! O café da manhã era uma atração à parte com seus Ovos Benedict. O hotel me surpreendeu positivamente, pois eu esperava menos pelas fotos. Mas é lindo, com uma vista maravilhosa, super recomendo.

O hotel é bem tranquilo, localizado próximo a vinícolas e com ótima estrutura no quarto, sendo uma região de tranquilidade e paz. Os cachorros são um plus, muito fofoss e carinhosos! Café da manhã bem servido e ótimo atendimento!!

A localização é um pouco afastada do centrinho (+-15 min de carro). Caso seja um dia de vinícolas com intenção de jantar fora, pode ser um pouco ruim. Apesar disso, o hotel serve jantar, que parece ser bom (não provamos). A casa principal é de madeira, então pode-se escutar facilmente os passos de outros hóspedes, o que pode ser um pouco incômodo. As luminárias do quarto são sensíveis, esbarrei por acidente e uma soltou/quebrou. Me ofereci para fazer o acerto e o hotel mandou a cobrança posteriormente (justo, mas desagradável).

It could be a negative for some - - the location is away from city centre. For those with a car, this is fine. We enjoyed the stay and love the seclusion.

The property is stunning , I liked the fact that it has a restaurant , I liked the friendly staff both the lady and the guy.

The lodge was amazing with an incredible view. Staff made sure the jacuzzi was heated prior to our arrival.

Was für eine traumhafte Unterkunft! Von der herzlichen Begrüßung des Rezeptionisten, über das traumhaft schöne Zimmer mit allem, was man zum Wohlfühlen benötigt und dem leckeren Frühstück, war alles einwandfrei. Die beiden Hunde und die Katze sind sehr lieb und verschmust und letztere leistet einem Abends vor dem Kamin (Winter) gerne Gesellschaft. Besonders haben wir den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang in der Hot Tube genossen. Auch das Abendessen können wir weiterempfehlen (der Koch hat extra etwas veganes zubereitet, was so nicht auf der Karte stand) - sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The Log Collective si trova in una vallata stupenda nella regione dello Stellenboch. Il lodge è immerso nel verde e nei vigneti e la vista di cui gode è meravigliosa. La camera che ci hanno assegnato era perfetta: spaziosa, pulita, confortevole. Abbiamo trascorso due notti all'insegna del relax, approfittando anche della cena una sera e dell'aperitivo. Alloggio da non perdere se si esplora questa zona incantevole.

The Log Collective is a truly enchanting gem. We only stayed for one night, but I genuinely wish we could have spent our entire stay in the area right here. ​We opted for the half-board option, and every detail was crafted with immense care. Both the braai dinner and breakfast were absolutely exquisite. To top it all off, the breathtaking views over the vineyards made the experience even more magical. ​A heartfelt thank you to the staff for their warm, friendly, and welcoming hospitality. This place has the most amazing positive vibes. We sincerely hope to return one day! ​Warm regards from Italy! 🇮🇹✨

Great location, everything you need is in the room. Bed is extremely comfortable and the place is clean.

The prices of the food is aimed at international travellers and not for locals. Breakfast cost and what was served cannot be justified. You can also hear everything around you as the rooms are not really sound proof. The slightest conversation and unzipping of bags of your neighbors created a feeling of uneasiness.

I love how quite and peaceful this place was love the fireplace inside the room.

Food was expensive and not great. Really disappointed actually. It was a special thing for my husband birthday and nobody even said happy birthday

The bed is big and comfortable and spacious bathroom. The lodge is in a nice quiet setting with a whole lot of greenery. It was a very relaxed environment.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. I would suggest considering the addition of another hot tub, given the number of guests that the lodge is able to accommodate. It may also be beneficial to provide a bottle and tin opener in the kitchenette area for guests' convenience. In addition, you may wish to consider requesting breakfast orders from guests in advance to improve service efficiency. On the morning of our stay, we were seated shortly after 09:20 but only received our breakfast just before 10:00. As check-out is strictly at 10:00, as advised by the waitress, we felt rushed to finish our meal before departing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and trust that this feedback will be helpful in enhancing the guest experience.

Unglaublich tolle Besitzer, die mit großer Leidenschaft ihr Handwerk verstehen. Sowohl der herzliche Empfang (trotz unserer sehr späten Anreise) als auch das super leckere Essen aus dem eigenen Garten hat uns überzeugt. Die netten vierbeinigen Bewohner (zwei freundliche, unglaublich süße Hunde und eine Katze, die ihren Abend stilvoll am Kamin genossen hat) haben sich unaufdringlich in unser Herz geschlichen.

First of all , the view , location is stunning , it feels like you are in the middle of some English countryside . The service was immediate, if we requested something , someone came to where we were located to assist us, and nothing was too much hassle ! Very friendly staff , personable. The cooking!! Oh my goodness ! It ranked for me up there with the French chefs , fantastic skill and flavor, the meat was thick , juicy, melt in your mouth ! The doggies are sooo cute and super friendly! The cat , depends on the moment , being a cat and all;). The jacuzzi was the highlight for me , they kept it at an amazing temperature throughout the weekend and we lavished in it for hours . The view from the jacuzzi is beautiful ! A lovely weekend away that felt like a weekend in bourdeax.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting with added top customer service. The team couldn’t do enough for us. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the food was exceptional! We would love to be back again one day.

View was excellent. We spend some time in the Hot Tub which was great. The Shower area is big. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment The fireplace was nice The bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately, the Cape Wind had a big role to play for us to not fully enjoy the Hot Tub.

Amazing view and wonderful facilities. It was so luxurious to lie outside on the sunbeds and dip into the jacuzzi every now and then. The bed was super comfy and kitchen facilities are great!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Weinbergen. Das nächste Weingut ist nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten eine Wanderung durch die Weinberge gemacht, was wunderschön war und sind dort zum Schluss eingekehrt. Das Essen im Weingut ist Spitze, wir haben selten so gut gegessen und die Flasche Wein dazu war auch sehr gut! Ebenso möchten ich das sehr gute Essen in der Unterkunft erwähnen, das Frühstück war das beste was wir auf unserer 4 wöchigen Reise hatten. Liebevoll hergerichtet, sehr gut! Ebenfalls ein Dankeschön dem Grillmeister, das Fleisch war sehr zart und lecker, das gesamte Essen super gut 👍 Danke an alle Mitarbeiter der Unterkunft für die schöne Zeit die wir bei Ihnen haben durften! Really liked the location and the personal approach (as it was a smaller hotel). The view was amazing, and the lobby/lounge/restaurant space had an amazing ambience. The Braai was really good, though a bit much for us but we are both very small eaters. Breakfast was perfect too and felt like high quality food. Would definitely recommend!

Leider können wir die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. 1.Die Unterkunft war sehr unflexibel bezüglich einer Stornierung wegen des starken Unwetters. Wir hätten den vollen Preis bezahlen müssen. 2. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. 3. Man genießt wenig Privatsphäre, da andere Gästen den selben Balkon benutzen und immer am Zimmer vorbeigehen 4. Für eine Reinigung und frische Handtücher musste man separat Bescheid geben (was wir nicht wussten) 5. Auch fehlte uns die gute Seele des Hauses, irgendwie fühlte man sich irgendwie alleine

Ein Ort zum Entspannen. Wir haben unsere letzten Tage in Südafrika sehr bei euch genossen. Besonderen Dank nochmal an Kenzo für die super Weintour, war ein tolles Erlebnis. Frühstück ist a la carte … Einen Morgen haben wir ein zweites Gericht (Joghurt mit Obst) von der Karte bestellt und mussten es extra zahlen. Als Mann ist das Frühstück nicht ausreichend.

Such a beautiful spot, it’d super green with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms a spacious and thoughtful decorated. But what really stood out to us was the service - the staff is very kind & really wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. Location is great, within ca. 10 minutes you are in Stellenbosch

Leider waren wir hier viel zu kurz! Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, ideal für die Vinelands. Liebevoll, individuell gestaltete Zimmer, netter Inhaber, leckeres Dinner und Frühstück. Toll war das Lagerfeuer unter Sternenhimmel. Nächstes Mal bleiben wir länger.

The welcome wine was much appreciated. Cabin kitchen was really well equipped. Lovely views/location. Mostly friendly staff. Michael was excellent. In the grounds of Louisvale Winery which has an excellent restaurant with stunning views (and discount). Nice restaurant in Log Collective. Log fire was excellent on a cool evening. Good kitchen garden to provide fresh vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, etc.

The listing is misleading. Other potential guests have questioned a number of features but listing hasn't been made clearer, especially regarding shared private vs facilities. The "balcony" suggests upper floor but it was actually a patio/terrace for a ground floor. Lower cabin (Log Apartment) is extremely noisy when guests walking above; a structural issue that can't be changed. No hot water until fixed half hour before checkout. No headboards on any of the 3 beds. Flies are a problem; automatic fly-killer spray didn't work. Be prepared to share a table with other guests in the dining area, so not a romantic venue. Lots of noise from mowing and strimming.

Einfach alles. Es ist phantastisch dort - das ganze Anwesen, die Zimmer, das Ambiente, der Ausblick, die total netten, offenen und zuvorkommenden Besitzer, das ganze Personal, die beiden Hunde und die sehr coole Katze Socks.

Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu verbessern gäbe (Jammern auf höchstem Niveau), dann käme beim Frühstück ein kleines Buffet gut an, mit etwas mehr Obst, Joghurt, Nüssen etc. Aber wahrscheinlich würde man das alles auf Nachfrage auch bekommen.

Difficult to describe how incredibly stressful Ning this setting and estate is. The attention to detail is exceptional whilst retaining all of the natural beauty. The accommodation blends with its surroundings with every comfort taken care of.

Fantastic place to stay after a full day visiting wineries. We booked a lovely two bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The beds were comfy. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed to have what was needed to cook a simple meal. Staff were lovely and breakfast very nice.

The team could be more proactive in communicating the activities that are possible. We did end up getting a massage and doing a wine tour, but it would be good to have an introduction on arrival of everything that is possible at such a lovely location.

Great getaway for relaxation, located close to Stellenbosch and many well-known vineyards. If you choose, you can dine in; the menu is simple but great, and the food is very tasty. The view from everywhere on the property is breathtaking. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchenette and spacious bathroom. There was a cosy communal lounge with a fireplace and several great outdoor areas(Pool, spa, firepit etc).

Similar issue with the provided hairdryer that I have had at another location - Hairdryer Safeway brand that unfortunately does not plug in properly, thus making it very difficult to use

Somewhat Disappointed by the braai evening which was expensive for what it was. Also we were charged for two glasses of wine even when signs on tables said the braai included a bottle of wine. When we asked staff we were told it was just a glass included, but even this we were charged for. Breakfasts were ok but the fruit on offer was unripe and hard.

Simply outstanding. Everything has been thought of. Michael, our main server was one of the nicest most attentive all round great guy.

It was very peaceful and quiet.

Only 2 hangers in the wardrobe, bathroom mirror impractical, shower dangerously slippery. Complimentary coffees and milk not re-filled. Worn bed linen. Damp Smell laundered towels. No TV, but that not a deal breaker.

Great Service, exceptional food (the Braai!!! And the Steak!), hot tub and pool are great, situated in the middle of a wine berg and the cutest dogs
