Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und man konnte auch sehr gut zu Abend essen. Auch am Ruhetag vom Restaurant gab es Küche für die Hotelgäste. Das Frühstück konnte man aus einer Karte auswählen und bekam man serviert.

Generous sized ornate room. Breakfast, bar and dinner at restaurant exceptional service and food. Parking onsite a bonus and able to leave car whilst shopping in city centre by foot.

No lift, so if have a lot of luggage can be difficult. No assistance on hand. When we arrived difficult to check in as no dedicated reception. Also, there was a hen party so very crowded, loud, busy area to try and find staff.

Warm room but not too hot. Windows that open. Spotlessly clean. Room nicely appointed. Good shower. Big soft towels. Nice toiletries. Small cooler in room. Big comfortable bed. Quality bedding. Tea/coffee facilties in room. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Cooked to order breakfast, very nice. Laid back atmosphere. Nice grounds. Close to centre of city. Good parking at hotel.

Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij begrijpen echt goed waar het over gaat. De kamers waren ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het diner was prima en het ontbijt meer dan dat. Een uitstekende prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet geven: er was geen lift. Maar een probleem war dat zeker niet.

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of the city centre, with free parking and a bar and a restaurant. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large and comfortable bed, a very good shower (with shampoo, etc.), a small fridge, and a kettle, etc. Also we spent part of the evening with some friends in the bar, had a pleasant light dinner, and the next morning we had a wonderful breakfast with great coffee.

Our only complaint is a minor one: the internet was a bit slow at times - particularly when we were using BBC IPlayer on the TV to watch the final episode of a series we wanted to see.

Breakfast was very good.

the room.. though it was good at first sight.. We opened the bathroom door and the stench was horrible. It did seem to dissapate after a few hours but we had to keep the door shut so that we could sleep. No Lift for people travelling with luggage, it was a little problematic getting up the stairs.

The staff and the amenities made it easy to relax. The room was good.

Well appointed old hotel on the top of the hill, great place to visit, nice atmosphere.

The staff was friendly and willing to help. Location was about a 15-20 minute walk from pubs and restaurants. Room was clean and well appointed. Note there is no A/C, but was not a problem when we were there( late August)

No A/C could be an issue for some in hot weather.

Die Bedienung im Hotel war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das schottische Fühstück - inklusive - so reichhaltig, dass wir bis abends keinen Hunger hatten. Das Hotel ist mit Gaststätte. Dort hatten wir zu Abend gegessen - Essen war sehr gut. Das Hotel empfehlen wir gern weiter.

It was more or less clean, the bed was confortable.

The Parking Situation was not that nice. When we arrived all parking spaces have been taken. We said that we have paid for a parking slot the answer was: 'When all parking spaces are taken, than it's all taken'. We got the chance to get soon after a parking space. There is no reception, it is a Hotel but more a Restaurant. It was loud until 10PM. The lights outside were really bright.

The locality was great. Just a 11 minute walk to the main drag. Breakfast was fantastic YOU MUST TRY THE OMELETTE. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Parking available.

The room was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom had shelf space for all of our toiletries. The staff were helpful and kind.

L'accueil du personnel. Le restaurant sert des plats de bonne qualité avec un personnel à votre écoute. Le déjeuner par contre est correct sans plus. Très bonne literie. Je conseille cet hôtel très bien situé avec un hébergement de qualité.

La vue sur le toit par la fenêtre, mais compensé par la qualité de l'équipement.

A pochi minuti a piedi dal centro cittá ma in una zona residenziale tranquillissima, ottimo sia il bar che il ristorante, tutto lo staff molto gentile.

Struttura molto bella, accogliente e confortevole. La camera è grande, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Il personale è molto cordiale e accomodante. Peccato essersi fermati solo una notte...

La colazione alla carta potrebbe essere più variegata, ma è stata comunque buona e di qualità.

Das Hotel war von Strassenbaustellen umgeben. Schwierig zu finden ohne Navi.

Sehr gute Frühstücksoptionen, Zimmer sind geräumig und modern ausgestattet, obwohl das Haus alt ist. Als wir ankamen, hatte die Küche des hauseigenen Restaurants schon geschlossen. Das Personal hat uns empfohlen, Essen vom Lieferservice zu bestellen und uns in der Bar essen lassen, sogar Teller und Besteck bereitgestellt. Wir waren begeistert!

Ce magnifique hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme toutefois non loin de la gare. Les chambres équipées avec goût. Le repas du soir et le petit-déjeuner. Le parking privé gratuit. L'excellent rapport qualité-prix...et, last but not least, le personnel fort sympathique et dynamique.

Liegt ziemlich abseits, teilweise renovierungsbedürftig (Badezimmer)

Accoglienza, posizione, parcheggio, il loro pub e gli esterni.

La chambre de notre fille était au 2ème étage et était au dessus de la bouche d'aération des cuisines, donc impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre et même la fenêtre fermée, c'était bruyant. Le dimanche matin le petit déjeuner n'est servi qu'à partir de 8 h. tout le monde arrive en même temps et comme il n'y a qu'une personne pour servir, on a attendu presque une heure !

Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre après la 1ère nuit car bruit permanent. Seconde chambre parfaite. Bon petit déjeuner avec choix. L'hôtel est situé sur les hauteurs dans un quartier résidentiel.

Loin du centre ville et des restaurants.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr groß und sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Essen im Restaurant war wirklich gut. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Ich hatte bereits im Februar darum gebeten, ein ruhiges Zimmer zu erhalten. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer direkt auf die Terrasse. Diese wurde als Raucherbereich genutzt. Daher war es uns nicht möglich, das Fenster offen zu lassen, da der Rauch direkt in unser Zimmer zog und die Unterhaltung der Gäste sehr gut hörbar war. Der Garten wurde in der Nacht beleuchtet, diese Lichtquellen strahlten direkt in unser Zimmer. Die NachtVorhänge dunkeln zwar recht gut ab, trotzdem stört diese Lichtquelle.

The place is beautiful!! The staff was super friendly! The rooms were big and beautiful! We were only there for 1 night, but I would definitely stay longer next time. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

Das Hotel hat einen speziellen Charme, altes Haus, neu renovierte Zimmer, das Essen war super lecker. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dorthin gehen.

Das Haus selbst ist etwas älter (von daher gibt es keinen Aufzug, was aber für uns kein Problem war). Das Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen, verfügte über einen geräumigen Schrank (und einen Kühlschrank). Ein atmosphärischer Pub mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten draußen gehört dazu; dieser war auch sehr gut von Einheimischen besucht - während unseres Aufenthalts hatten wir sehr schönes Wetter. Zum Frühstück kann man sich etwas von der Karte aussuchen, was dann frisch zubereitet wird.

The room was clean and cosy, even if it was a bit dated. The food in the bar was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Brilliant stay at this wonderful example of Scottish Hospitality, great food, excellent outdoor space, and staff that instinctively say yes to every request. Room was modern clean, with nice extra touches, car parking on site, pleanty outdoor table and table service, excellent food at fair price.

Charming hotel, great location with parking a quick taxi ride from the center of Aberdeen. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the staff very friendly. Great value for money.

Unfortunately there is no lift, but we had help with the luggage.

The room was a nice size with a good view.

The bed was very uncomfortable, it was very hot and there were many cobwebs in the room.

Lovely staff, great food, comfortable bed. The food was amazing - had a graduation meal for my son and the staff couldn't do enough.

Out room was absolutely roasting! There was a fan provided but it didnt help much unless you stood right in front of it. The shower itself was good, but the walls inside the shower looked as though there was mould on them. Only reason I gave it 8 out of 10.

Tolle Lage, schönes Hotel, schön abgelegen, schönes Zimmer mit wunderbarem Blick auf den Garten und den Loch Ness, die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit, wir konnten unsere Wäsche dort waschen lassen, gegen einen Aufpreis (absolut ok)👌🏻, sie haben selber gekocht und Frühstück zubereitet. Wir fanden es traumhaft, ein Platz wo die Welt noch in Ordnung ist😊

Lovely building, full of character. Great breakfast options and fantastic food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided great service.

A fuse blew and we had a power outage, but this was quickly rectified. The car park can get overrun when the pub & restaurant is in full swing, making it hard to get a parking space. The shower in the upstairs bedroom was a little small for me at 6'3

Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage, ruhig und Parkplatz im Preis inbegriffen.

Am Abend gibt es leider nur bis 20.30h etwas zu essen - also genügend früh im Restaurant sein! Wir waren zu spät...

Mauvais timing, on est tombé sur le match Ecosse Maroc début 23h-1h et un séminaire bruyant à l'extèrieur avec music jusqu'à plus 1h du matin. Cerise sur le gateau à 8h une femme criait qu'elle était enfermée dans sa chambre. il on mis 10mm à venir la délivrer.

The room and bathroom were spacious and modern. The food was formidable and the breakfast was à la carte and very generous portions.

No lift but a waiter was very kind to help carry the luggage upstairs.

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten in Aberdeen aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr exklusiv eingerichtet, das Bad schon etwas luxuriös. Zum Hotel gehört ein Pub, wo man sehr gut essen kann. Frühstück war a la Carte und ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich (wie beinahe überall in Schottland). Also toller Aufenthalt zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

Le petit dej y est servi avec des plats chauds au choix qui étaient excellents ! Emplacement dans un joli quartier résidentiel, parking gratuit, 5 min en voiture du centre d'Aberdeen.

The room was like a castle, the hotel is very beautiful from the outside. A cozy place. Probably the best hotel in Abberdeen.

Great friendly staff . Rooms were renovated and fully functional .Had dinner in the pub a couple of times . The ferryhill burger and panko fish n chips were both spectacular. We opted for the breakfast included rate and once again the quality and variety were awesome . Highly recommend staying here ( close walking distance to town centre too an added bonus )

Sehr süßes Hotel, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Der Check in ist in der Bar, wo man auch direkt ein sehr leckeres Abendessen einnehmen kann.
