Bathroom was clean and had all facilities, bed was comfortable. Close to airport.
The bar was alcohol free.
Nothing to be honest. No way it could be a 3 star. A typical Airbnb like thing.
Everything . They approved cot but no cot offered.
Hotel is one mile to walk away from the railway station. Checked in 2 hours before check in time, explained I did not require access to the room due to travelling up to Sunderland, explained that I would not be back until 2am so required a key to access the hotel and my room. The woman on the desk explained that the hotel had a locked side door to the hotel and there was a key attached to my room key so I could access, I got back to the hotel at 2:30am, got into the hotel, no issues, hotel was quiet all night, I felt like I was the only one there 😁 Room was clean, tidy, no issues. I would stay there again

Large clean room
Didn’t offer breakfast. Reception staff more interested in chatting to family/friends on his phone than checking us in. Only 1 bath towel and no shower gel or tea bags in the room.
Spotlessly clean, lovely staff, great value .
Nothing wrong at all
The location was great for my stay. The staff are friendly and polite, the room was clean, tidy and very comfortable, all in all a very nice place

Not the smartest hotel but perfectly fine for a one-night stay. It was easy to find with plenty of free parking, the room was clean although the decor was a bit dated, it was quiet and overall pretty much what we expected for the price.
It was convenient for what I needed
It's smelly from the restaurant was in the room and followed me all day. The bed was uncomfortable and the window didn't close properly. Overall overpriced for what it is
Easy to find. Friendly and comfortable
The willingness and kindness of the staff, the availability of a small single room with no supplement, availability of dinner up to 11pm and good service in the indian restaurant.
INo breakfast service, the noise of frequent overhead flights at night, no air conditioning, limited staffing - no staff available at all in the morning with the reception desk unmanned
Very clean. Friendly staff
Quite noisy - on the flight path for the airport. No alcohol served.
Easy to find. Parking on site.
Very little
Parking is great and I wasn’t expecting the restaurant downstairs however we did enjoy a lovely late night meal there
Could have been a bit cleaner. Like there was a couple of stray hairs that were there on arrival. But we were barely in the room.
Bed was very hard. Floor creaking was bad.
The staff were amazing and the restaurant next door the staff were fantastic and I have diet needs they went above and beyond the staff were amazing i would definitely stay there again
Everything homely friendly
The place us very very clean. The staff are friendly. The food is on point. Any time i m in Manchester that us my hotel.
Great staff we stay upstairs and eat in the Indian restaurant. They put my beers in the fridge so they are cold when we eat downstairs. Great staff
Everything
On site food when needed
My room was above the restaurant and the soundproofing wasn't brilliant and there was quite a lot of noise when I went to bed. The shower was very small and the water pressure coming from the shower was poor.
We liked the location because it was within walking distance of our daughter's house. after that, nothing going for it.
My wife was attacked by insects during the first night. There was a bar as advertised, but not clarified as non alcoholic. WE checked out after the first night, despite having paid for 7 nights. Part of that was down to me having a heart attack on the 13th. however we had already decided to leave. Checking out, my wife asked the hotel if there could be a potential refund. `She was told that was Booking.com's responsibility. She contacted Booking . com on Friday the 14th by phone and was told by the AI agent that it was the Hotels responsibility. She waited to speak to an operator for 20- minutes who when answered hung up on her. Not only were we dealing with me unwell but access to a sympathetic voice during this challenging time was absent.
Good location
Nothing
It was near the place I needed to be the following day. The room was big and had chairs to use. There were comfortable beds which for me is the most important thing.
Bit noisy with overhead plane noise and being by a busy road but these quietened down. Could hear noise from next door but this quietened too.
Comfy bed, hot working shower. Plenty of tea and coffee Easy and quick check in
Had a problem with getting kettle to work.
Nice room
No bar serving alcohol 2 x glasses lemonade £9
Very comfortable and welcoming.
Nothing
Everything was okay.
Breakfast should be provided
The Indian restaurant on the ground floor was friendly and popular but isn’t part of the hotel
The hotel is a small check in outside the Indian restaurant then a staircase up to very basic and very tired rooms. Even the key tab was grubby with the room number a faded marker. There was nothing pleasant
Free parking
It's a long walk to the town centre and it's not really a hotel. It's rooms above an indian restaurant. No real reception and you basically come and go via a side entrance. I expected breakfast availability, but doors locked and no one around. Will not be back.
Was close to where I needed to be.
No breakfast, no toiletries only a thimble sized bottle of shampoo which ain't any good when you don't have hair!! No staff evident only a 30 second interaction with the receptionist. For a one night stay it was adequate but wouldn't want to stay any longer than that.
Very welcoming and comfortable. Lovely Indian restaurant on site.
The whole atmosphere was fabulous! Very close to where family live. Clean and comfortable
Very cosy and comfy
Bar closing early when other people are in there
The location of this hotel was perfect for our needs. Staff were helpful, allowing us to check in early and leave our luggage there for a little while when we checked out. The room was really clean and comfortable. We had a little welcome pack of biscuits, toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask and other little things you might need, which was a lovely gesture. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
When we arrived, the place seemed to be deserted. There is a bell on the reception but it seems a bit random whether a member of staff hears it or not. Could do with a better system.
Nice
Nothing
The staff were friendly and helpful and had all you needed in the rooms it was lovely
Arrived at the hotel and the member of staff said that our room had been sold to someone else and said all the other rooms were full. No real explanation
Nothing about the hotel. Glad we didn’t stay.
There was a nice little welcome bag on the bed when we arrived. Communication prior to arrival was better than some.
Staff where a little inattentive. I waited at reception for over 5 minutes for the receptionist to appear, despite numerous staff in the bar acknowledging my presence but not helping in anyway. Whilst I know this isn't long in reality, when there are staff staring at you, it feels a lot longer. There where numerous short and curly hairs left in the shower, a large amount of plasters and biscuit wrappers left in the bedside drawers, the fan in the room was damaged in such a way as to make it dangerous to use, the wallpaper was badly damaged by damp and was coming away form the walls, the beside units where delaminating round the edges. Despite leaving at a reasonable 9:30 am, reception was not manned so we where unable to share our experience face to face.
The location was good
I don’t like the lack of customer service when we arrived . And we left a shirt in the room which has a gift and the hotel have not acknowledged my email or phone calls
Not sure
The location on the side of a busy road, very noisy
Location restaurant
Nothing
Beautiful looking building The restaurant looked lovely & clean and busy Friendly helpful staff Good size room, iron, trousers press, hair dryer, lovely little goodie bag. Easy to find , lots of parking
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable.. Although the window was open and there was a fan. It really didnt have much power to it. Couldn't keep the window open wide due to the air traffic and road traffic.. shower pressure wasnt good. Someone's shirt in the wardrobe. Nobody was on the desk at check out in the morning
Friendly staff and room was very clean. Within walking distance of Stockport station a restaurant on site is a bonus.
We had a great stay
The room
Nothing
Everything
The location was good, easily accessible to close to a bus stop. Oh I love the little welcome package they put together with amenities like toothbrushes and earbuds etc. really thoughtful.
The room was a bit dirty.. especially the bathroom. almost seem like the bathroom wasn't cleaned from previous guest stay or had been recently been used.
Location, ideal for where we were going the next day
Noise from overhead planes, no lift
The staff were brilliant clean and tidy if you stay in the hotel you will never be disappointed the restaurant connected to the hotel wow I mean wow I put on a couple of pounds it's amazing
Leaving
Nothing did not go in looked unsafe I was travelling alone with my little girl
Everything
Staff is very friendly
The music from the restaurant is too loud. I could hear from my room and it stopped quite late. Also the curtains were dirty and the milk pods were covered with mold.
Nice location with east transport access
A few more condiments
Cheap
Not the most welcoming. No licence for an evening drink
No staff around after 11 pm . Broken shower fitting in room . Unable to shower. No one available to assist. Left hotel at 9.15 am when there was still no member of staff around.
The hotel was very nice and the room was a great size
Everything, nice and quiet
I loved it
The man at the reception desk was helpful to me and made my stay enjoyable
The room was spick and span when i checked in
Great carpark easy access to and from building with your own key
The room was too hot and needed a fan - this is a basic need in hot weather
The staff were amazing . Well done to two of them that I met .
Noisy . Guess you can not help that . Above all we had fun .
The hotel was absolutely spotless and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a meal at the on site Indian restaurant, and it was perfect, the food and service was fantastic ( we could tell by the amount of locals that came here) how popular it was.Couldn't fault this place at all,and will definitely be returning.
That they didn't serve breakfast, they'd have made a fortune if they did.
Nothing! Very unprofessional
I had booked a room in March for my daughter birthday in June. Pay at property I was furious to turn up on my booking date within the check-in hrs 3pm-11:30pm turned up at the property with. My 11 year old daughter after driving for 4hrs to tell me there was no rooms available. Management was not there and just the restaurant from the staff so wasn’t helpful at all. Restaurant had to close by 12am and had to ask us to leave I was then without a place to stay with my daughter and had to contact booking.com to tell them how unprofessional and we had no where to stay after driving 4hrs. Luckily they were helpful we had booked the Holiday Inn they had 2 rooms available 0.6miles down the road we had checked in at 1am.I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! VERY UPSET DAUGHTER HAVING NO WHERE TO STAY AT THAT TIME!!
Nothing about the place
Rooms very tiny shower the same couldn't bend down in it room very hot supplied a fan to no advantage constantly smell of Indian food very noisy could here every bit of traffic passing realy realy outdated
The Indian / South Asian restaurant does great food, really nice. It’s not licensed but byob is fine and a shop is 10 minutes walk away
Great value great food
Clean room, helpful staff
Outside seating area dirty, covered in tab ends and stank of cigarettes No breakfast
Basic room
I did not realise it was in a curry house. Wasn’t exceptionally clean, the room was incredibly basic, spare pillows didn’t even have pillowcases on and not enough plugs in the room. The rooms were so hot at night and while they provided a fan it didn’t do much.
Shared building with a fair Indian restaurant
This establishment does not provide breakfasts. Right underneath the flightpath to Manchester Airport.
Clean, spacious room, except for a toenail on the floor!
Toenail on the floor! Not the friendliest welcome.
Had a very good sleep, bed was comfy..room was clean. Would definitely return.
Room bit too warm, poss needs a fan.
The room was clean and comfy and the staff were nice and friendly.
There was no milk with the tea making facilities.
Needed tea and toast when got up,thought you got continental breakfast included but 8 20 everywhere locked up,so had toget train home, else would of give 10/10 ,
Everything good
Nothing
I love this hotel. It's clean and comfortable.
I don't like all the male staff from the restaurant hanging around the reception when you check in. I find it uncomfortable and intimidating.
The food in the Indian restaurant was absolutely phenomenal! Me and mum both absolutely loved it! We will defo be back! The staff are so friendly too! :)
Stayed before we flew. The room was clean, bedding fresh and water hot. Easy to get to the airport from the hotel.
Only one pillow person person and mine was very hard and lumpy.
The bed was comfortable and the food at the savanna was top notch
Good location
Room was very hot
Good location, staff are friendly, check in was simple enough and price was ok.
The bed was extremely squeaky, you couldn’t have electrics on without having bathroom light on 🤷♀️ Was woken up to someone (assume staff) having a cigarette right outside our window. Quite outdated room especially carpet (AND MATTRESS). There was an empty bottle on bathroom floor so cleaning between guests was not 100%.
Every single staff member were attentive, friendly and approachable. The location is great and the value for money is superb.
The shower was a little grubby round the edges, the water pressure was poor but for the price we paid it could have been a lot worse. The rooms are extremely warm in the evenings.
The staff are very nice and welcoming, the room could just do with a freshen up
The rooms could do with a freshen up! The window frame was dirty and the shower seal was also dirty
Friendly, small hotel with great staff and food, good location and good car parking. Will use again.
Clean, comfy and welcoming
Good parking.
Right under the flight path for Manchester Airport. Also restaurant was noisy emptying rubbish late at night. TV in room didn't work.
The staff were really friendly. The restaurant was really good food. The location was great. Right near bus stops. A local park. Quick walk to Edgeley and Cheadle. Close to train station. Bedding was clean and fresh, as were towels.
The room, although expected to be old fashioned decor, the curtains were disgusting with who knows what stains. Their was public hair on the shower controls. Only about half a toilet roll. Cupboard fronts need a clean as do the walls and skirting boards. Only one tea cup which hadn't been washed properly. The teapot smelt like rotting water inside. No one around early to access water or a proper coffee.
The property was on the main road and very close to where I was visiting. The staff, when they were around, were lovely. Upon arrival I felt like it was a bit of a ghost town but in the evening when the restaurant was open. Everyone was lovely. The room was cosy.
Unfortunately the money that was spent for two nights was in my opinion wayy too much. The room was clean but there were hairs in the bathroom. My room was DIRECTLY above the Indian restaurant kitchen and I could hear the chefs shouting and talking all evening on Saturday night as well as the doo slamming back and forth. The rooms amenities are vintage in closing th trouser press and hairdryer. I feel these could do with an update. Coffee was decaff only and had one sachet. However the housekeeping lady assisted me with this the next day. Still decaff but stocked me up! Thankyou!
It was close to P Louise which was the purpose of the stay. They allowed an early check in..
The cleanliness of the room. Sweets and tobacco in the top drawer and chocolate in the cupboard. It was really hot, the valve was broken on the radiator so could not turn it down. Opened the window, but so loud with traffic.
They cancelled my room the night before the Manchester Marathon with little to no proper explanation. I was told my room was “shut for maintenance”, as if it was a toilet cubicle rather than accommodation. This left me completely stranded at the worst possible time, with hotel prices massively inflated due to the marathon weekend. It’s hard not to feel like the booking was cancelled so the room could be resold at a higher rate once demand increased. I only managed to find a room that was cheap enough that evening once I was in Manchester, so had the stress of travelling up there without a place to stay booked.
The little Touches like the welcome bag
friendly staff
not clean
Good food good staff
My room wasn’t ready no tea or biscuits Bed uncomfortable My last stay was great a pity about this one
We were early and they accommodated us. The heating in the room wouldn't turn off, but we were moved to a more comfortable room.
All problems were rectified
Nothing
Everything not as adverised no breakfast or normal restaurant no helpful staff was a curry shop with rooms above absolute disgrace i requested a refund but no luck
Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful
Such a pity breakfast is not available
Location to the airport and free parking.
Could not turn the radiator off so the room was red hot. Had to have the windows open which was noisy. Was up early for the airport so not happy with the noise.
