Great location, good hotel, very close to the train station which was ideal for us

On arrival and departure, there was nobody manning the desk, took ages for somebody to show up

Room was functional, clean and comfortable

Food in restaurant was American and unhealthy. Even the chicken Caesar salad had deep friend chicken in breadcrumbs. Other than that, it was all friend food, pizza and burgers. Still trying to recover.

Everything was fine untill I enquired about a dress I had left in the room. A few days later I rang reception. I gave room number and date of stay.all The information needed. Reception said yes they had it in lost property . I took an hour each way journey. The reception staff messed me about. Even to the point that they almost gave a blue bag with something in it. They snatched it away. So I never got the dress back. I felt played about with.. Why say it was there and then not. Communication problems at best. Goodness knows what at worst.

Staff were very helpful and friendly from the reception check in to the breakfast staff. We needed extra tea and coffee for our room so reception topped us up well.

On Saturday early evening we were hoping to have an early dinner due to having evening plans. However although the menu says 24 hour service we were told the kitchen was closed until 6pm. This resulted in us going to the local shop for sandwiches. A little disappointed by this.

Bed was uncomfortable I couldn’t have slept on it another night. (To hard needed a topper on) my room was overlooking the front and bar opposite was noisy being a new hotel I thought it would have better sound proofing. The food in the evening limited and veggie burger not edible. (Hard and dry) the breakfast buffet was good.

Everything the room was a great size my daughter loved that she had her own bed for her and all her teddy's. Loved that it had an iron and ironing board in the room.

Perfect location and shops, bars, food, transport all within a minutes walk 24 hour snacks and bar are a bonus too

Aircon or fans rumbling all night, room sizes are pretty much all the same so the higher grades of room are not really worth it after the extra furniture is in it ends up looking smaller Probably me just moaning but the maddest layout of light switches 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 bathroom switch is the furthest away from the bathroom and not even on the same wall but that's just a minor issue that I picked up on which isn't even noticed

Proximity to the station. My friend discovered she had left her medication in the room and contacted them to let them know. The duty manager Casey rang me to advise that they had found the medication in the bed linen. My friend was able to collect it the following day. Staff friendly and polite.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The check-in was clerk was very pleasant and efficient. My room on the first floor was immaculately clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I slept extremely well with no ambient noise whatsoever. The location is super convenient for the station. The cost of the room for a Saturday night stay was very good value for money. The reception area is gleaming as are the lifts. What more could want?

Bright modern hotel, clean spacious room with spotless shower room. Friendly, helpful staff made me feel very welcome. Great location in pleasant area next to the railway station.

Breakfast area was crowded and very noisy so I didnt bother with it. Hairdryer was very sticky with hair products.

Parking i understand that the hotel has no parking but the npc car park that is next to the hotel that you advised to parking is unsafe to leave your car. Had my car broken in to on the 1st night so had to cut short my stay and returned home

We travelled from London to Stockport to visit the Peak District. The rooms are well-maintained and clean. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. We were able to order food in the evening, and the dinner was well presented and prepared; we didn't have to wait long for the food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the three days went quickly. We were well looked after by Caissy, Joey and Autumn. We strongly recommend this hotel. There's a Sainsbury's shop 2 minutes from the hotel and a railway station nearby as well, and plenty of parking spaces at a reasonable price. If I have to go to Manchester again, I will surely stay in this hotel. Noel Lakshman

Stay here often as the location is great, I know its hot in the rooms opposite the station, the air conditioning doesn’t work. I always ask for a room at the back as they are cooler. Arrived, no room at the back, told that I should have emailed to ask for one, I had done and received a reply to say noted on the system but it wasn’t apparently. Stuck in a boiling hot room, given a fan, had to try to sleep with the door to the corridor open. Resorted to hanging around reception as it was cool. Second time in a year this has happened Going to find somewhere else to stay next time in the Summer. Completely unacceptable temperatures.

Breakfast options were great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They tried their best to get us an early check in, we arrived at 12 pm and had a room by 1 pm. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern feel. Perfect for families. Bathroom was very clean.

Rooms are small. We had 2 beds and 3 people in one room, not a lot of space to pass each other in room with 3 suitcases.

Bit pricey when we stayed but that was because it was a weekend of gigs in Manchester but I understand supply and demand ! I'd stayed here a year before for my wedding night and it was half the price so I can't really fault it.

My friend and I stayed during the hot weather in Stockport. As soon as we checked into the room we put on the air conditioning, we also double checked the settings and instructions as over time the room didn't get any cooler. I went down to reception to raise this issue, after checking the receptionist told me the room was showing at 23 degrees, so he set the fan speed as high as possible for us and to the lowest temperature. We went out for the evening at 5.30 and returned at around 1am. We had left the air con running at full fan speed on temp 19 degrees, but upon arriving back the room, it did not feel any cooler than when we left! Once again, I had to go down to reception to complain. I was once again told the fan speed had been increased and set to the lowest temperature as the room was still showing as 23 degrees. We left it an hour, no difference! So we requested a fan, which given that there is no windows, was just blowing hot air around the room. Very little sleep, very uncomfortable. I will be raising a complaint as this was below our expectations and i didn't appreciate the fan speed for the air con was lowered by the hotel in a heatwave when people need the cool air in the rooms. What is the point of having air con if guests can't use it to its full capacity? The body wash was also completely empty. Luckily we had packed some.

The hotel staff were fantastic, helpful and super friendly. Especially Ellie at reception that girl is a credit to the you. Made my daughter's stay extra special, nothing was a bother and went the extra mile for her.

Convenient location right next to the railway station, and 5 mins walk from the venue of the event I was attending. Soundproofing good, so you barely hear the trains (or planes heading to Manchester). Air conditioning good, and the cleaner thoughtfully closed the curtains to keep out the sun. Staff friendly, and one lady helped me with a query about another booking I had with Holiday Inn Exp. Ate a nice chicken makhani in their restaturant one evening.

I was greeted by a lovely smelling scent which was pleasant in such a hot day. Easy location in Stockport right by the train station if you need it. The air con was amazing seeing as I stayed in a heatwave.

The hotel itself was perfectly . I ordered food in the restaurant. When it arrived it was stone cold. The waiter apologised and fixed it. Not sure how it happened really as it was very well presented so not sure how the fact it was stone cold wasn’t noticed. It was literally like it hadn’t seen an oven . Anyway that was the only real flaw.
