Building was nice and porch area.

One of lights did not turn on and the fan heater did not work. Linen did not appear cleaned. Not bad for the money but could improve on maintenance, making sure evetything works and is turned down properly for handover between guests.

Super place. I travel by motorcycle and I was very comfortable with being able to park up so close to my pod. The area felt secure. Peaceful location. The pod was really well equipped.

Being in the cabin, arriving guests was knocking on the door mistaking it for reception.

Bed slightly uncomfortable

Great communication pre and post visit and exceptional service in helping us swap pods so we could bring our puppy. Lovely, quiet site which is well Maintained. We were surprised how warm and comfy the pods were - and how roomy.

Only tiny niggle was that the bed was very creaky whenever you turned over which disturbed sleep a bit. Wouldn’t stop us returning though.

The pod is close to the washrooms, wet rooms and the tap for filling kettles are close by. The willow farm cafe is also nearby for breakfast and lunch.

No hot water, and the pod is rather dated. Therefore very few power points and the consumer unit tripped all the time especially when the two only available power points were plugged in at the same time.

We had a lovely stay in the glamping pod. The pod itself was really clean, cosy and comfortable, and it was a lovely little space to stay in. That said, the café on site was absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay! Overall, we enjoyed our time and thought the pod itself was lovely, but the shower and bathroom situation could definitely be improved.

There were a couple of things that were a little disappointing. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the pod, which would have been a nice touch. Also, the toilets and wet room were advertised as being exclusive to the glamping pods, but they were actually shared with the wider camping site, which was slightly misleading. The showers were also quite temperamental. One shower cut out while I was shampooing my hair, meaning I spent around 10 minutes trying to get it working before eventually having to come out and wait for another one. Unfortunately, that shower was also constantly changing between hot and cold.

Cosy pods with comfortable bed. Easy parking. Very near York town. Quiet and peaceful. omfortable sofa inside. Nice outdoor table and chairs. Easy access with keybox code.

Unfortunately there are a few big rats running between and under the pods. The management should do something about this rather urgently. In addition, the hot water for the dish washing was out and customers were asked to boil water with kettle provided. This was however a minor inconvenience.

The location not to far from York, lovely walks. Cafes breakfast was amazing. The local pub was nice to . Definitely will be bk very relaxing.

Everything was as described. The pods are cute and nicely set out. It was good to have the outside deck space. The wet rooms were reasonably clean and everything on site was easy to find. I appreciated having the ‘fridge shack’. The details about checking in arrived exactly as promised by email and were quite detailed but easy to follow.

Felt a bit deceived by the description on booking.com It clearly states there is a fridge, microwave and toaster in each room but this is not the case at all. Also, a kettle but no tea/coffee or milk. I have read some other reviews and seems if you have a dog pod you don't get this however we didn't get an option for a dog pod or no dog pod - we didn't have a dog! This maybe needs clarifying on the booking site. I would stay again but would bring other things to make my trip more comfortable. There are no glasses, no cutlery which meant we had to go out and buy these. I was happy with our pod but think there needs to be better clarification around what is included and what isn't.

Location, so close to York but far enough out to be wonderfully peaceful. The Cabin is fantastic, rustic and cosy. Has everything you need. Fridge shack is really useful, plenty of fridge and freezer space despite the site being busy. Being so hot this was particularly helpful. Being able to borrow a bbq, just wheel it over to our cabin was great. Toilets/showers lovely and spacious and very clean. Staff in the morning lovely, we were just about to go wash up the plates etc from night before and they told us to leave them as they would do it for us. The whole place is exceptionally clean and tidy. Everyone very respectful in regards to noise, no children allowed which was an added bonus! Parking is also great, we were able to park right next to our cabin which was so handy for unloading our stuff.

Everything was great for a couple who want a nice cosy break away together, the cabin we had was great for a little getaway and set on a nice site with easy access to York.

I have to say from my male point of view it was great, However from my female partners view, she didn't like the toilets at night, and there was a big queue for the showers in the morning as one was faulty, which caused us to rush to be out at the checkout time of 10 am.

Nice and relaxing, good spacious pod. Lovely grounds/area to wonder around. BBQ's available if you want to cook something.

If you go out you need to take the car or try get a bus, we wanted to do some walking but the road was busy and no pavements so want safe. Totally fine if you're happy to drive somewhere we just like to walk alot when away.

Comfy bed, pod was nice and clean. Basic but had everything we needed for a short trip.

It got very hot even with the fan, mosquito nets on the window and/or door would have allowed some air flow over night. Shower worked well but the temperature fluctuated a lot. And no soap in one of the toilets the whole time there with no staff on site to contact about this.

Dat de wifi het niet deed en was wel in gelocht net als de mensen om mij heen. Is niet handig als je dingen moet plannen en contacten moet onderhouden.Dat brengd weer allemaal extra kosten met zich mee !

Ubicación ideal a las afueras de York, es un sitio muy bonito e ideal donde pasar la noche. La habitación MUY pequeña pero funciona y con todo lo necesario. Facil de encontrar. Tuvimos un problema ya que no se nos envió las instrucciones de la entrada pero rapidamente contestaron por whatsapp.

El tener los baños bastante lejos del bungalow, y que no estuvieran lo más limpio posible. Parking pequeño.

The customer service staff were fabulous The site was good Freezer shack, BBQ area, and grounds were very good The pod ( we stayed in Kite) was clean however the bed was hard and uncomfortable The lack of hooks and storage was an issue (it seems most only stay a night not a few as we did) Only 2 electric sockets both not very convenient to charge phones etc Kettle tiny No nets for doors so either in the dark or open to passers by No lamp or ambient lighting Washing up facilities in the other part of camp and water cold! Showers and toilets clean but definitely not enough for the size of site Bins not emptied or any recycling bins available Overall a number of major points in my opinion which could make the place fabulous rather than ok

The fantastic communication and facilities.We explored the surrounding woods with our dogs and walked into Haxby.Wheres theres a great array of shops.pubs and coffe shops.

Permanant residents dictating the made up rules.Im sure they understood when they purchased the pitch it was right next to the communal area.If they dont like people then pick a pitch further away.

Les sanitaires sont un peu loin. Les pods étaient moins proches des voitures et plus herborés. La cabane est collée aux voitures

No aircone! For me this was deal breaker it was so hot I couldn’t sleep at all. Warning - only 2 sockets I know it sound like not a problem but in the night we wanted to charge our phones and fridge but we couldn’t even get fan on, I called to ask for extension as I do have machine to breath during night and they did not had it we couldn’t change phones, camera, drone, computer, power bank etc. Bring your extension cord

Refreshing. . Site was well kept and pretty. Glamping Pods well arranged to avoid encroaching on privacy. Well away from the r weoad so exceptionally quiet. Showers and toilets very well kept. . Very enjoyable stay and memory.

Booking.com. Still did not amend my booking details. Your system for some strange reason kept throwing up the name of Nigel Arthur and his phone number ber. I removed this on several occasions and out my details in yet you persisted in placing Mr. Arthur's details and phone number back onto the booking. This created can embarrassing situation for me upon arrival and speaking with the sites person . I was angry as she said she'd called me several times to advise me what to do upon arrival but on calling the number (Nigel Arthur) she got this irate mane. And now she was dealing with another one. Poor lady This was a situation of YOUR making and you need to deal with these problems promptly or I'll go back to Agoda and others.

Lovely cosy spot. Very comfortable and pod was the perfect size for 2 people. The pod itself was very clean and mostly as described.

It didn’t specify which pod we were booking but I believed there would be tea and coffee etc available as we hadn’t booked a pet camping pod but this wasn’t the case. Communal areas weren’t great so wouldn’t have made any food there.

Weer eens een keer wat anders dat een pod of een normale b&b. Yurt was goed uitgerust , koelkastje was top !

Wat wij beetje miste was evt stromend water in of vlakbij te slaapplek. Ook het vlondertje voor de yurt was aan de krappe kant, stoeltjes zijn niet bedoeld om langer dan een half uur op te zitten. Tevens hadden we graag wat folders,boekjes van de omgeving op accomodatie gezien, nu was het na 16.00 even uitzoeken wáár kan ik vanavond nog eten ?? Grootste gemis vonden wij toch het persoonlijke contact met wie dan ook van de camping.

The toilets were all blocked Tuesday night to Wednesday mid morning. It wasn't very nice to turn up too. Was scared to use the toilets as they were backing up. Made for an uncomfortable first evening.

To be fair it was a heatwave but it was so incredibly hot. The bedding and cheap plastic sofa were enough to make us return the key to the lockbox and book a hotel.

Absolutely amazing little huts. It was so comfy and peaceful it was great I highly recommend it.

Lovely location, very peaceful and some cool wildlife (peacocks, black swans). Everyone we bumped into was pleasant and friendly, the cabin itself was very comfortable with soft lighting, blankets, and even cutlery. Toilet facilities were a lot closer than expected and large!! Very pleased

I stayed with two dogs and had them on long lines outside but could do with a little fenced off section attached to the side of each pot for dogs for a little bit more security. Other then that can’t complain

Bed was very comfortable, sofa was a bonus as was outside table and chairs. Great price, clean and readily available drinking water. Safe parking seconds from pods. Nice walks near by and only 15 minutes outside of York City centre. Would happily stay again!

Lock was a bit iffy, twice we managed to get ourselves locked in ! Wet room was very basic and rely's on people to mop the floor after using which we sadly experienced wasn't being done.

It was a bit dark inside, the lights were only over the bed, nothing the other end and the lack of socket at the bed end. But they are just niggles.

Alt var perfekt. Vi kunne dog godt ha’ brugt, at der lå en karklud eller lignende til at tørre havebord og stole af, efter det havde regnet. Eller f.eks. til at tørre op ved evt spild ved kaffebrygning.
