So beautiful! Such a quirky old property full of interesting features. Very comfortable beds! Great food in the restaurant. The town is lovely - such beautiful buildings and fantastic views!

A localização e o complexo do grupo El Califa são excepcionais! O restaurante é ótimo, uma experiência bem singular de pratos do norte da África! Há, ainda, uma teteria muito agradável para um chá de hortelã no fim da tarde. Recomendo!

Destacamos especialmente la amabilidad y atención del personal, así como su excelente ubicación para descubrir y disfrutar del precioso pueblo de Vejer. Una estancia muy agradable en un entorno con mucho encanto. ¡Muy recomendable!

Nos alojamos en la habitación número 3 y nos resultó demasiado pequeña incluso para una estancia en pareja, lo que hizo que la comodidad fuera algo limitada.

Trop d’escaliers… mais c’est lié à la disposition de l’hôtel sur un pic, un terrain très en pente. Cela fait aussi son charme.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Wir konnten im Vorfeld einen Parkplatz gegen Aufpreis reservieren. Das Café und Restaurant bietet vegetarische Speisen an, was in Andalusien häufig wenig bis gar nicht der Fall ist.

Teilweise etwas hellhörig, aber in der Nacht ruhig.

Once again, this wonderful hotel got everything right for our one night stay. Reception was friendly and efficient at check-in, the rooms and public spaces were clean and felt authentically Moroccan, while the restaurant was stunning, as always. Great location in the central square of the beautiful village of Vejer, with plenty of bars, shops and eateries to be sampled.

No parking on the actual hotel site, but really not a big problem with options very close by. We found a public car park spot that was safe and free of charge for our overnight requirements.

One of the best hotels I've been to (price to quality). The staff is very helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended. There's also a private underground parking which is very important in this city.

El alojamiento es muy bonito, el desayuno magnífico y la ubicación perfecta.

No tiene aire acondicionado. El aire no funciona y ponen unos “pingüinos” que al de un rato echan aire caliente. NO PUEDES OFRECER ALGO QUE NO TIENES. Nadie te avisa de que el acceso al parking es extremadamente complicado para coches largos. En nuestro caso tuvimos un golpe por este motivo. Si podéis aparcad fuera.

La atención del personal y el restaurante.

Todo estuvo genial. Solo decir que el parking concertado es de difícil acceso. Pero bueno, por la ubicación tan céntrica del hotel y las fechas es la mejor opción para aparcar.

El aparcamiento....os coges parking o es imposible...17 euros el día me parece caro,pero a nosotras no nos quedó más remedio,la mayor parte de la zona es zona verde.

It was an amazing experience…/ the labyrinthe of the hotel made of different structures with secrete rooms and patios….Definitely a place to recommend.

We loved the location which is excellent. Also, it is so well decorated and it gives a special touch.

We were actually upgraded to the sister hotel Plaza 18- this is a fabulous hotel with a luxury boutique feel. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless and there was a beautiful sitting room with tea making facilities and an honesty bar. There was also a terrace- we stayed there for 3 nights and were the only people using it so it felt like a private terrace. There were delicious Moroccan pastries every day and fantastic breakfast in El Jardín de Califa.

The only thing to say is that room 1 where we stayed faces onto the street at ground level and the bar next door stays open until 1am, so you may want to bring ear plugs. Even better stay out til then in the lovely vibrant plaza.

Nos dieron una habitación que parecía un zulo, con ventanas en la parte de arriba , parecía un sótano. Apenas tenía luz y teníamos que estar con las linternas del teléfono. No sé cómo pueden vender algo así como habitación. Es la número 3.

La struttura è bellissima, la colazione magnifica. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa e caratteristica. Comodissimo anche il parcheggio che però dovete prenotare in anticipo.

Per noi non ha rappresentato un problema ma se avete problemi di mobilità sappiate che ci sono molti gradini e non ci sono ascensori. Quindi in questo caso non sceglierei questa struttura.

Given it is an old property. There are lots and lots of very steep and narrow stairs. Not for people with mobility issues

Een schattige doolhof van een hotelletje, boordevol karakter. Genereus ontbijt zwierig verzorgd door authentieke, warme mensen. Toplocatie in een onderschat plaatsje. Een heerlijk verblijf in alle opzichten.

The Charm and location. Restaurant is amazing too. Staff is great too.

Our room had very Little day light. There was no coverage and wifi was very low.

The location is very central, right on the plaza. We booked 'Apartment with Terrace - Annex' which is called Asilah and is on a closed pedestrian lane at the back of the hotel near the restaurant so has no street noise and is very quiet. Although we had to go up and down endless stairs from reception to get to the room there IS a way to get to the street and plaza without going up or down a single step. Simply turn right on exiting the apartment, follow the lane, pass the first left turn (with the steps) and take the next left turn. So much easier! Just a note though, the apartment itself is on two levels and the terrace is a level above. The underground garage is tight but I'd still recommend getting the parking option. The restaurant is excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. The terrace bar has lovely views.

The main issue with the apartment is that the private terrace has no umbrella/shade and the bed is rock hard and very uncomfortable. On the second night after waking 2-3 times I gave up and slept on the sofa. The bathroom is adequate but very compact.

La ubicación y el desayuno

La máquina del aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruido y dificultaba el sueño por la noche. Además, la posibilidad de que gente de fuera del hotel pueda acceder al restaurante y a la tetería, hace que en las zonas comunes haya mucho ruido y se escuche desde la habitación, a pesar de que nosotros estábamos en la planta de arriba. También podrían poner más de una botellita de agua de cortesía, solo ponen una pequeña, y por el precio de la habitación, creo que sería de agradecer.
