Everything! The location is perfect; the rooms are so comfortable, incredible breakfast choices in a stunning setting; wonderfully helpful and thoughtful staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable! Definitely recommend. Underground parking too! 👏👏

As always the location and simply how wonderfully beautiful and unique the hotel is. Also the little Package for my dog and the fact that you now take dogs in those rooms has just about made all Of my dreams come true!

If I’m being really picky - and I only say this as I think it probably needs fixing - not a criticism- we stayed in the room Turquesa in the new bit and the air conditioning was clearly old and it was really really noisy. Very unlike the Califa group to have any sort of snag like that so figured it was just an oversight.

Staff was very friendly and helpful room was clean and fresh pool was regularly cleaned and inviting

Dreamy hotel. Beautiful historic building. It was a privilege to be able to stay there. El Jardin del Califa is a lovely restaurant and the breakfast was good.

We stayed during fiesta time in August and the fiesta was happening right outside our room! The hotel let us know about the fiesta a week before our stay. The live music was extremely loud until 4am in the morning. On the first night, it was quite exhausting for our children. On the second day we had a long siesta and joined the party :-) As it was fiesta time, parking was difficult. We found parking about 5 minutes walk away.

Beautiful property, the gorgeous rooftop overlooking the town square is the perfect place to have a morning coffee watching the sunrise. Lovely friendly staff& great restaurant.

Todo genial. El hotel precioso y las habitaciones también. Desayuno increíble y super completo. Atencion de 10. Volveremos a repetir sin dudarlo.

El lugar es precioso y muy especial. La habitación también. Está todo muy bien conservado y y muy bien decorado. La comida es toda de calidad y el restaurante muy bueno.

Para el precio por noche creo que faltan servicios o ciertos detalles que no considero que estén al nivel del precio que pagas. Por ejemplo, El baño era enorme pero no tenía nada para guardar el neceser o guardar las cosas de baño, no era cómodo para pasar más de una noche. Por otro lado, no había kit con algodón para desmaquillarse y solo había un kit dental. El sistema de fijación para los jabones, en según que casos, no funcionaba. El teléfono para llamar a recepción tampoco. Por otro lado, en un pueblo donde sí o sí te ves obligado a reservar el parking, el precio del parking tendría que ser simbólico o estar incluido en el precio. El precio de la mascota también me parece elevado y el acceso al Hammam también va a parte. Además, en el restaurante no se hace ningún tipo de descuento o detalle por ser cliente del hotel. En conclusión, el lugar es precioso y muy especial, la comida es de gran calidad y el personal muy amable pero no volvería a pagar lo que hemos pagado por alojarme en el hotel ya que, además del precio por noche, te vas con un sabor agridulce con los extras.

Posizione favolosa sulla piazza centrale, struttura del hotel "diffusa" su più edifici e ricavata su architettura moresca storica di livello. Colazione pezzesca, con scelta varia e servita al tavolo - una delle migliori mai provate. Ristorante eccellente con graditissimo divieto di fumo anche nell ampio giardino. Tocco di classe. Anche la terrazza dove si può attendere in caso di "coda" al ristorante è bellissima, e si può bere qualcosa nell attesa. Abbiamo apprezzato davvero lo sforzo di trovarci un tavolo (centrale!) per l'anniversario! Il parcheggio, non nella struttura, è di grande aiuto vista la posizione del hotel (anche se non proprio economico).

Nulla!! Solo qualche suggerimento: - le camere migliori, con affaccio sulla piscina, soffrono un uso poco educato e chiassoso della stessa da parte di ospiti poco rispettosi. Adottare qualche misura in tutela di tutti, del relax, oltre che del divertimento sarebbe di aiuto, e sarebbe fantastico se la politica smoke-free del ristorante venisse applicata anche all area piscina. - lo staff è favoloso e gentilissimo, ma davvero pochi parlano un inglese sufficiente, un peccato per il livello del hotel! - i tanti tappeti, tende e drappeggi storici (bellissimi) nella zona stanze forse richiedono maggiore pulizia per evitare effetto aria pesante d'estate. - zanzariere :)

Terrassen på vårt rom var stor, og med flott utsikt. Beliggenheten er god. Ellers så er det ikke noe særlig å skryte av.

Altfor dyrt i forhold til hva du får. Nesten 1000 Euro for 3 netter, vi hadde forventet mer. Hotelletet er fint, men det står ikke i stil med prisen. Dette gjelder også eres restaurant i henhold til pris og kvalitet / smak på maten. De hadde heller ikke fått med seg at vi kom reisende med 2 barn når vi skulle sjekke inn, til tross for at det sto i min bestilling. De ordnet heldigvis en sovesofa. Ved utsjekk prøvde en ansatt å få meg til å betale for oppholdet en gang til, til tross for jeg hadde forhåndsbetalt. Jeg visste jo selvsagt det, men hadde jeg sendt min kone for å sjekke ut så kunne hun vært uvitende og vi ville betalt dobbelt. Frekt forsøk!

El alojamiento en si es una preciosidad, inspirado al estilo marroquí, todo muy limpio, la atención del personal fabulosa y la ubicación inmejorable. El desayuno en el jardín del califa me gustó mucho.

Las almohadas, eran los almohadones de la cama y eran muy altas

Nice location but beware of the noise from the Plaza depending of the room No air conditioning in the bedroom of the "Casa" there is only a air refresher with icecubes and the woman at the reception (on Sunday)does not know how it works ( but she kindly provides with icecubes) The woman at the recption desk hardly speaks english. There are no answers to emails on Sunday. The response to a request for a parking is' Ok17 euros a day' without any indications for directions. The check in procedure involves bearing the luggage by the costumer itself from the Casa del Calife to the Palmeras annex. No table available for dinner even for a resident.

Service and anticipation if the needs of the costumer.At check out the woman at the reception desk on Monday first ask to come back with the parking card and afterwards says we can leave the parking key in a basket at the parking . It is not the same!

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

You have to be able to do stairs to stay at this hotel. It has multiple levels and no elevator.

It was a lovely location with plenty of places to eat and drink

In our party we had a disabled person who needed to use a wheelchair We were not made aware at the time of booking that the town/village is very hilly with cobbled roads and many steps had to be used in order access lots of areas. Toilets were also a problem as many had to be accessed via stairs. Fortunately the disabled person was able to walk for short distances otherwise due to the reasons previously stated our stay would have been very difficult. For able bodied people there would not be any problems

L’hotel è stato una rivelazione nello stile, nel gusto. La location era in pieno centro storico, in una piazza suggestiva dov’è ci sono ottimi ristoranti, tapas e bar. La sala colazione con un patio ed un giardino molto bello. Abbiamo fatto una cena marocchina con una grande varietà di tajine e couscous, il tutto in un atmosfera molto romantica con luci soffuse.

Le troppe scale su e giù per raggiungere la reception, il ristorante ( ma fa parte anche della bellezza in stile arabo del posto ). Certi clienti che occupano la piccola piscina al loro piacimento con birre, chips, e non fanno la doccia prima di andare in acqua, imbevuti d’olio solare. Senza nessun rispetto altrui.

J' ai eu une sorte d'empoisonnement intestinal qui m'a cloue au lit toute la journée avec de nombreux vomissements pendant la nuit et la journée cela m'a gâché considérablement mon séjour et m'a affaibli plusieurs jours

The breakfast courtyard was very pretty and food was very good. Our junior suite was a good size and air conditioned. Decor very typical and charming.

There are many steps and awkward to get to. No parking in the streets unless you park in their recommended car park which was very tight, chargeable at 17euros/day and difficult especially if you have hired an SUV. I found this stressful and I wouldn’t go out at night. However the area has wonderful places to eat in easy walking distance. If you are older and cobbled narrow streets and steps are challenging maybe not for you.

Wunderschönes Haus zentral im Ort gelegen. Sehr gemütliche Zimmer. Äußerst freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Wir waren leider nur für 1 Nacht dort als Stop einer Rundreise. Würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an die Damen der Rezeption

Für uns war alles super. Für Personen mit Gehbehinderung vermutlich nicht der beste Ort, weil es im Haus über viele kleine Wege und Treppen rauf und runter geht.

Es un poco difícil para circular ya que tiene escaleras y pasillos de distribución con techos muy bajos en algunos lugares.

There was a wonderful restaurant on site and breakfast was also superb. The staff at breakfast and dinner were lovely. The hotel and restaurant feel like you have been teleported to Morocco. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautiful.

The hotel is a bit of a warren of ups and downs and the hotel carpark is off site. Need to be aware of the narrow staircases especially when moving suitcases.

Wir waren in einem Nebengebäude in einem großen Zimmer mit Zugang zu einer Terrasse wo man morgens einen schönen Sonnenaufgang miterleben konnte😁 Das Frühstück im benachbarten Hotel war spitzenmäßig!

Das Zimmer ist stark in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Fenster und Türen sind nur schwer zu bedienen weil sie klemmen. Im Bad so alte Badmöbel dass sich staubwischen scheinbar nicht mehr lohnt? Und das ganz zu einem viel zu hohen Preis!

Authentic apartments and a very beautiful restaurant with Moroccan dishes. Delicious breakfast, helpful staff. After booking the room, they responded quickly to all questions before arrival and helped us reserve a convenient time at the restaurant, even though it was almost fully booked.

The location was excellent

The rooms and the apartment was damp and you could feel this in the room and in the beds. We would have expected that the heat would have been on in the room well in advance of anyone staying there.

Sadly the weather was diabolical when we stayed. However, we only found the reception of the hotel by accident as it has a different name! Had to step over sand bags to get in. Lots of flies in the common parts. Disappointed that a suite was quite small. Great location on a sunny day!!

Bathroom door didn’t close and hadn’t for some time. Junior suite turned out to be a family room with bunk beds as well.

Beautiful, unique style due to the history of the building and the town. Good restaurant and cuisine.

Gostamos de tudo. A localização é perfeita, nosso quarto com varanda tinha uma vista incrível, café da manha delicioso, equipe sempre muito atenciosa, o tamanho do quarto e do banheiro, limpeza, conforto da cama. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Super indico esta experiência, fechando com chave de ouro uma visita ao restaurante. Deixamos o carro em um estacionamento público que tem acesso por uma das entradas.

A única coisa foram as escadas estreitas que precisamos descer com uma mala, mas não diminuiu em nada nossas impressões positivas.

Zentrale Lage, öffentlicher gratis Parkplatz etwas unterhalb, sehr gutes , mit Geschmack eingerichtetes Restaurant das zum Hotel gehört. Die Zimmer sind alt aber sauber . Wir hatten das grüne Zimmer mit Balkon.

Im Frühstücksraum flogen die Vögel, das stört. Kein Aufzug, viele Treppen um die Koffer zu schleppen, auch ab Parking schon, deshalb nicht geeignet für ältere oder behinderte Menschen. Anfahrt schwierig, selbst mit Navi 1 Nacht reicht für Vejer de la Frontera.
