A classic, as they say ! black & white nostalgia deco of yesteryear alpinism, a bijou living room of the 50's, such hotels as I knew as a child 50 years ago - spacious, comfortable, a seasoned operation -

All good, if not inexpensive (thanks, on-demand pricing); just one minor quibble : quality shows in details, such as the breakfast spread - ready-mix scrambled eggs are a cost-saver too far.

Das Zimmer war sehr eng und im Badezimmer ließ sich die Duschtür nicht richtig schließen, das Wasser lief nicht richtig ab und das Handwaschbecken war eigentlich auch zum Händewaschen zu klein und es gab keine Ablagemöglichkeit. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war eigentlich gut, aber das wiederauffüllen lief sehr schlecht.

Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Lage , Parkplatz, das super Frühstück. Gut geschlafen.

Rooms felt plush, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly, relaxed and cheerful whilst also professional.

Bathroom needs some shelves (not behind the toilet) for guest toiletries.

Frokosten var bra, savnet kanskje stekt egg 😊

Hadde rom i 2 etg. Håndvask på badet var svært liten...

Salmon meal was excellent

Pizza meal was not excellent.

The decor is really charming, somehow preserving the vintage feel but with modern amenities. The lounge for relaxing with a drink is lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and there was an option to pack a lunch pack to take with you for a small charge. Staff are very friendly.

If you arrive at the bus stop, there is a small walk up a small hill to the hotel, which might be a problem for some. But there are "Local Taxi's" available.

There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. No refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was one of the smallest that I have ever been in.

Breakfast tables slow to be cleared. No scrambled eggs by 8.30 for a 10am close. I waited a while but gave up and left.

The family room is a very nice size room.

The breakfast could have more options and choices.

Very helpful and kind staff. Arranged a breakfast at 5:30am in the morning for us as had an early morning flight. Nice and cozy rooms.

Very clean and great staff. Food in restaurants and the staff there too.

Hot water is wonky and the tub / shower leaked in a weird way but only because no caulk against the wall. Gym treadmills don’t work great. Had to plug one in myself to get it to work. A little over priced for the room.

Skabbigt hotellrum. Äckliga fläckar på gardiner och lampskärmarna. Fönstret gick inte att öppna ordentligt. Minsta handfatet jag sett. Saknades hängare. Toarullshållaren satt på trekvart.

Very accommodating and helpful staff indeed! Excellent location. Very good variety and very tasty breakfast. Very nice view from the room.

The only place to put our clothes in the room was 2 clothes hooks on the wall, which were however used to hang an ironing board.... and iron! Therefore we had to put the ironing board on the floor (half blocking the room door) just to hang our coats. Why would one supply an ironing board when you would have nowhere to hang your ironed clothes afterwards is a mystery. The bathroom was equally, disturbingly small. The shower stall doors were folding inwards to make space and this meant that if one person was using the shower, the other could hardly reach the sink. However the price was extremely high for the offering; and this by Norwegian standards.

Nice rooms, beautiful location, parking spot, hiking trails close, nice breakfast. I also would like to highlight the restaurant. My partner had his birthday and reception and restaurant staff was very helpful on making this unforgettable. Thank you!

Goed hotel. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Prima ligging.

Prima hotel centraal gelegen in Andalsnes. Parkeerplaats bij de accomodatie. Badkamer wat verouderd.

Ut i fra det jeg så var alt flott.

Eggerøren var ikke så god. Personalet i frokostsalen stresset litt.

מיקום מרכזי ונוח, חדרים נקיים מאוד, מיטות נוחות. ארוחת בוקר טובה ומגוונת. אכלנו גם ארוחת ערב במסעדת המלון, היתה ארוחה טובה מאוד.

Toilet was in this little corner with the shower and you have fold the shower door in to use the toilet Drain was clogged and flooded the whole bathroom

The hotel was easy to find, close to town but with good views being just a little higher up. The breakfast was great & all staff were friendly. Special shout out to Markus who gave us good tips & even got us on a better & cheaper bus to Ålesund!

One of the few places I've stayed in with a comfortable chair!

No sign at main entrance indicating that there was an accessible ramp at a side entry along the road - or any staff looking out to assist. I ended up having to pull up my mobilty scooter up the stairs when I first arrived. View from room not great - it looked out on the roof of the restaurant below.

Goed bed, ontbijt en gratis parkeerplaats.

De badkamer vertoonde vele gebreken zoals een wc rolhouder die bijna van de muur af viel. Een wc bril die veel te klein was voor de bijbehorende wc pot en zo waren er meerdere gebreken. Toen ik dit kenbaar maakte bij de receptie werd mij meerdere malen een andere kamer aangeboden waar ik geen gebruik van heb gemaakt om voor mij plaucibele redenen. Het gaat er mij om dat deze gebreken vooraf al bekend moet zijn geweest en desondanks toch wordt verhuurd. En dat vind ik een kwalijke zaak. Zeker voor een 4 sterren hotel. Op de foto's op de website heeft de kamer vitrage, die ontbrak in de ons aangeboden kamer.

Fin beliggenhet med kort avstand til togstasjonen og sjøen. Rent og ryddig, gode senger, trivelig restaurant med nydelig mat, frokosten var ikke overdådig (heldigvis), men det var likevel mer enn nok til å bli mett! Betjeningen var blid og trivelig fra vi kom til vi dro!

Mislikte ingenting, dyna var i varmeste laget, men sikkert god når været blir kjøligere.

Sentralt hotell midt i Åndalsnes, med gratis parkering rett utenfor. Ble møtt av en blid og hyggelig resepsjonist. Alle ansatte var blide og hjelpsomme. Rommet var rent og pent med gode senger. Fikk rom med utsikt til fjord og fjell. Frokosten var også bra, men fikk dessverre ikke tid til å spise middag i restauranten. Alt i alt et hyggelig opphold.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location was perfect. Everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again.
