Grove Park Motor Lodge

Unkompliziertes Einchecken. Großes Zimmer, auch für drei. Praktische Küchenzeile. Guter Italiener nebendran.

Cosy, clean,comfy and convenient.

One side of the electric blanket on the King sized bed didnt work. Also it would have been good to have some heating in the bedroom.

Ropom was warm on arrival, easy parking, close to town, ease of access to main road to Picton

Clean room with everything you need + Sky TV as a bonus. Friendly owner who communicated well

An absolute gem! So close to town. Fantastic facilities. Room was so clean and comfortable!

Nothing !!

Staff very helpful

The room was a good size, clean and cosy and the facilities were great.

Clean room fresh comfortable

Is bit of a rabbit warren layout difficult to find way around

Very friendly on arrival, easy check in and check out

Couldn't get the electric blanket to work but might have left it too late and it was an extra unexpected touch anyway.

Nice & quiet, friendly staff.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean, perfect for a one night stay. Beds comfy.

Didn’t not like anything really, just probably a bit overpriced but that’s like everything these days.

Nice clean and tidy. New looking.

Good sized rooms, very comfortable bed, great shower. Sky sport. Location and lay out with multiple access points.

Nothing

It’s a really good motel for the cost, basic but clean and has everything you need.

Grove Park was great tobstay at. The unit was very clean, modern and spacious, beds very comfortable and had everything needed in terms of kitchen facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and well equipped. Great restaurant and bar just around the corner.

Clean & comfortable Manager very nice & very accommodating for extra room required

The unit was very clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchenette with a full stove and microwave.

The only quibble is the small size bedrooms but the spacious living and bathroom spaces work well

Good location and a very nice room. The staff were extremely friendly and nice and helped us for a late check in

Air conditioning in the room could have been better. Maybe it was just a hot day! Everything else was just perfect 👌🏻

The room and space was great and very clean highly recommend.

Very easy to find and in a great location. Had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were super friendly. Unit was very clean and tidy. Good value for money.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well-equipped, comfortable room. Comfy bed and pillows. Grest location.

When we reported the issues we experienced they were very prompt to be seen to try and fix.

Toilet seat was moving, advised it is ok, it is a new (cheap) seat and did not fit the Toilet properly. Front door lock was hard to open, one evening we had to give it a hard shove to open the door. They changed our room at the start , which took alot of time. I did tell her very clearly not to worry about it, but she kept saying it will only be a couple of minutes more. It was a shock to get an extra charge to my card for the "room upgrade".

Nice easy access. Nice and comfortable and clean

Lovely hospitable staff. Comfortable cosy accomodation.

Exceptionally clean! Staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our families rooms were across from each other, which was a really nice gesture after we had booked our rooms. Highly recommend staying here !!

great location quiet good value and accomodating staff

Our rooms were very well-appointed, super clean and so comfortable. We had a late check in and the instructions were very clear. Was a nice touch having carpet outside the room for when I had my morning coffee. The shower pressure was great & the beds were so comfortable & the rooms were a good size. The location was fantastic also, right off the main highway. Would highly recommend to stay here.

Friendly staff, value for money, not highly overpriced

After traveling extensively in both New Zealand and Australia, I can say honestly that this place is actually falling into the category of a hotel. The huge brand new tv screen, the heating blanket under the bedsheets, the spotless kitchen corner, the comfortable beds and the large bathroom were all features one usually finds at a hotel. The communication with the hosts was always prompt and all our requests were met without any problems. The cleanest property we have had in New Zealand. Would have loved to spend longer time at this place. Very easy check-in process. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. My whole family loved the place.

Central location, we had unit 12 which was nice & quiet, roomy, comfortable beds & really clean. Would stay again

Le calme

The staff (owner) was really helpful and friendly.

Cleaners took too long to come and clean especially after I had requested an earlier cleaning time. And the second day they didnt clean the room.

Anythink was great as always stay there often

Nothing

Clean & comfortable

A little traffic noise in those front units

Easy check-in with friendly staff. Facilities very good. Close to Eateries.Very comfortable bed.

Traffic noise during the night as our unit was close to the road.

For the typical type of motel this one was very nicely appointed, clean and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Nothing.

Great location lovely staff very helpful and accommodating

It was average

A little dated and quite a dark room

Large room, at the back of the property so was very quiet.

Room was a bit tired. No normal tea provided, only green and no plunger coffee, only instant. Was expensive for what it was.

Nice kitchenette. Super nice washers and dryers. Very short stroll to Italian restaurant and German beer garden. Rooms comfortable and simple.

The layout is a bit strange because the rooms are in unattached rows. This opens to a drive along the front doors of other units. You can't really open windows without exposing yourself so lack of privacy. Motel is in an industrial area. Far from downtown.

Friendly and helpful staff, central location and very good laundry facilities.

Lovely welcome from the owner who was very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the immediate area. Close to the town centre and conveniently situated for Pollard Park and gardens, Riverside Park and the new Wine and Food Experience. Spacious, comfortable apartment, clean and well equipped. Restaurant on site open Thurs through to Sun. Highly reccomend the Grove Park Motor Lodge.

Good location. Very friendly and helpful owner. New and well equipped room.

Ruime kamer, host had veel tips voor de omgeving, lekker bed & goede douche

Spacious and comfortable bed

Nothing to dislike

Great room for the night after a big trip from the North Island through to Blenheim. Just passing through this time but would happily stay here again.

Great communication - our ferry was delayed so late check-in required. Host answered message with a new plan - immediately. Found it right on the main highway as we hit town. Good instructions. Milk in the fridge. Great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Super happy.
