We had such a fabulous stay at Casa Luisandra! The hosts, Marlene and Conny, were absolutely amazing — so friendly, welcoming and helpful, with fantastic knowledge of the local area. They also provided a beautiful breakfast each morning, which was the perfect start to the day. The B&B itself is stunning, with beautifully designed, spotlessly clean interiors, a fabulous pool area and breathtaking views across the hills towards the sea. We’re so glad we discovered Casa Luisandra and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We can’t wait to return again soon! Thank you so much, Marlene and Conny! 😊

We hebben overnacht in de suite met dakterras. De kamer is niet groot, maar het dakterras is geweldig met fantastisch uitzicht en privacy. Ontbijt wordt elke ochtend met liefde geserveerd met lekkere verse sapjes en verrassingen. De eigenaresse en haar man runnen de B&B met passie. Kortom een aanrader in de mooie Algarve.

Jeden Tag frisch gepresster Saft, Smoothie und viel frisches Obst, dazu frisch gebackene Brötchen und ein Gruß aus der Küche. Das Frühstück ist wirklich ein Genuss! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, der Garten mit Pool wunderschön angelegt. Luz ist ein netter, kleinerer Ort mit tollen Restaurants und ein idealer Startpunkt zum Erkunden der Algarve. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vielen Dank für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war war sauber und ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders begeistert war ich von dem Außenbereich mit Pool, Whirlpool und Außenküche! Auch die Lage war perfekt - total ruhig und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Stadt und am Strand. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert und ich konnte sogar früher einchecken. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet! Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

We really enjoyed our stay and Marlene was amazing! I am only taking a star off (really wish it could only be half a star off) because the bathroom in the space was a little unique. It is very clean, but it is not in a separate location, just in the bedroom with glass dividers. It worked for us, but just different. Everything else was amazing. The location was great, the food was incredible and everyone was so nice and helpful!

Die Aussicht in den Zimmern auf der Seite ist nicht sehr toll - man kann aber an der Pool sitzen oder an den Tischchen Platz nehmen.

Other than the breakfast, which was generally okay, there was very little to like about this property.

The pictures do not represent the reality of this place. It is purely a B&B and by no means a “boutique” hotel. The room we had was very small, had no windows, the door to the bathroom inside a tiny room was clear glass with zero privacy, the air conditioner was old and positioned over top of the bed and, to top it off, there were ants crawling around in the bed. Many ANTS just all over the sheets. We had been traveling at this point for 2 weeks and otherwise had a good experience in Portugal but the place was major disappointment.

Isolation phonique nulle.Pour le prix de 250 € la nuitée ...vraiment pas justifié !Dommage car propriétaires agréables et attentionnés .

Besonders das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight: liebevoll angerichtet, mit frischen Smoothies, gesunden Shots und vielen kleinen Details, die man so schnell nicht vergisst. Die Gastgeberin war dabei unglaublich freundlich. Alles, was man brauchte, war da – es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Man merkt, wie viel Freude und Sorgfalt hier in jede Kleinigkeit gesteckt wird. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Herzlichkeit, Sauberkeit und ein liebevolles Ambiente schätzen!

Casa Luisandra is a true home away from home. Marlene and Connie are incredible hosts, and have thought of every little thing you might need for a relaxing stay. It felt like they were genuinely delighted to welcome us to the b&b. The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had, with Marlene presenting breakfast “surprises” daily, and different health shots and juices daily to match. The b&b is so peaceful, and walks through the surrounding fields are a treat. Comfy beds, extremely clean rooms, jacuzzi and beautiful pool with fully equipped pool kitchen, beach equipment for use, you can’t ask for more! We hope to stay again one day.

The setting was beautiful. Surrounded by meadows, rolling hills, horses etc. Yet just about a mile to get to the beach.

Marlene and her husband Conny serve fantastic BIG breakfasts; really delicious. Our room was fine with very good amenities. Being located between Lagos and Luz gave us the ability to explore both area easily.

Close to Luz (5 min drive) but away from the street, in quiet green hills. Well maintained structure, clearly freshly painted. In April it was too chilly to swim but the pool is amazing with the fruit trees around. Fresh products for breakfast, that we took on the sunny balcony. Would recommend!

Incredible breakfasts, views, and hospitality

The best bed & breakfast we have ever stayed at. The breakfast was incredible, the house with its pool and jacuzzi are magnificent and Marlene and Conny make you feel like home. It was simply perfect.

The location just outside Lagos and near Luz was so serene, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host helped us to enjoy our destination by kindly suggesting a wonderful boat tour and an amazing restaurant. Each day got off to a good start with a fabulous breakfast. I hope that my spouse and I have a chance to visit again. We will surely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit the Algarve region.

Casa Luisandra was a great choice for us. It was close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping but a quiet haven to return to at the end of the day. The breakfasts were delicious and just the ticket to get the day off to a great start. The pool and surrounds were awesome as were the hosts.

Breakfast was delicious and different each day with a selection of fruits, cheeses, pastries. Connie (owner) also made a smoothie and tonic shot which were fabulous as well as the daily homemade breakfast ‘surprise by Marlene (owner). The owners are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to please you and make sure everything is ok.

Fantastic property for those seeking a bit of solitude. The breakfast was gorgeous. Marlene and Connie are fantastic hosts. This is a real gem, especially for adults looking to get off the beaten path. Pool was delightful. Marlene recommended a neighbourhood Tapas Bar within walking distance. It was the perfect ending to our holiday and the food was very very good! We would book again.

OK, I’m a light sleeper and sometimes hone into the “odd noise” which in this case was the automatic bathroom (inside) fan which was triggered every time I would use the bathroom at night. Only lasted 30 min and shut down automatically.

My partner and I had such a wonderful stay at Casa Luisandra! The breakfasts were amazing, the hosts so lovely and helpful - the b&b is 15-20 min easy walk from town, making it super relaxed!

The patio on the rooftop unit was beautiful, with a mini pool, a table and chairs, multiple loungers, an umbrella, and a sofa. There was also cooking equipment. It’s a great location and the hosts were very nice.

The room itself is very, very small. It’s difficult to even open your suitcase. There’s no privacy whatsoever - they installed a toilet and shower into an already small room, dividing these things with tempered, semi-see-through glass that doesn’t go to the ceiling, so you will hear and smell every moment of your partner using the bathroom. There was a significant ant problem during our two nights there and now we’re finding the ants in our stuff at the next stop. The dishwasher didn’t actually clean our stuff. It can be very windy on the roof, to the point that the heavy umbrella blew over and hit me in the head. If the water in the shower hits the shower door, the water then POURS out the bottom into the room. So you have to be careful in the already cramped shower to not let the water hit the door. The bed was not comfortable for me, but others may like it. It gets very bright in the room by 6 am and it’s impossible to block out the light at two of the windows. Despite charging 450 euros a night, they charge even for stuff like orange juice in the mini bar, but only accept cash when you use Booking or Expedia. This is inconvenient of a modern business.

What an absolute gem of a B&B. Tucked away just outside of Praia da Luz but an easy 20 minute walk into town. Marlene and Conny were the perfect hosts and the breakfast is absolutely incredible. Probably the best breakfast we have ever had! There were lots of little extras that were included at the hotel too which was so thoughtful. A wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful B&B managed by Marlene and Connie, who were exceptionally welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious. Good quiet location away from Luz, but the town is a short drive away and just a 25 minute walk. The B&B also has two cats.

Where does one begin to even say how amazing one's stay at Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel B&B is :) Your hosts, Marlene & Conny, I remain speechless. They are so wonderful and welcoming to their home. I tip my hat to them because they look after their worldwide guests in an extra special way. I could write a novel on the entire stay but one simply needs to venture to their property to experience top-notch, first-class treatment at every turn. The morning 'surprise' juice shot, fresh smoothie and orange juice was something I so looked forward to. Breakfast every morning... WOW! I was fortunate to stay with Marlene & Conny for a week and cannot wait to return. I am in the tourism industry so this review is genuine. I so enjoyed unwinding by their beautiful pool each afternoon and the views from everywhere throughout their property were breathtaking. The owners were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was top-notch and included a homemade healthy breakfast "shot" and a daily surprise. The setting is quite pretty and close to both Luz and Lagos.

The host and hostess put a lot of love into making you welcome. The breakfast is made with all fresh organic produce and lots of healthy surprises. We didn’t want to leave breakfast. The property is well maintained. This was the best out of all the five hotels we stayed in traveling around Portugal.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Luisandra. The quiet backyard with a clean pool, comfy lounge chairs, well kept grounds and the pleasant smell of the fig tree felt like a little oasis, that made us relax just within a few hours after arriving. We walked to the next town with wonderful restaurants or to the beach every day or did go on hikes. If you are looking for a quiet place that is still close to a lot of fun things to do, Casa Luisandra is your place. The breakfast was as good as all the other reviews promised. We enjoyed the daily healthy shots, the smoothie and surprises a lot. I actually do have some food intolerances and am therefore on a very limited diet. I asked beforehand if there’s an option for gluten free bread or if I should bring something. Marlene and Conny actually baked homemade gluten free bread and rolls for me, also they adjusted the daily surprises so I could have them too! Anyone on a limited diet knows how much that means, I actually had tears in my eyes saying bye on the last day. The rooms, bathrooms and grounds are very clean and well kept. I actually think it was the first vacation place I stayed, where I did not feel uncomfortable using the shower or walking bare foot! There are a couple of things that come naturally with staying at a lot of vacation destinations, like changing or hard to control water temperature or thin walls. Since everything else was so perfect, this would be complaining on a very high level though. Thanks again!

Casa Luisandra may be one of the nicest hidden gems on the Algarve… Marlene and her family took the absolute best care of us! The pool area is unbeatable if you want a European countryside experience that’s clean, quiet and serene. The breakfasts are amazing, healthy and always come with a surprise! We did have a wonderful breakfast on the one day that we ate breakfast. There was plenty to eat, along with a delicious home-made smoothie.

We wish the breakfast was served a little earlier, especially on our day of departure. When we told the hosts that we were leaving a little early, we wish they would have offered to accommodate us with a few items since breakfast was included with our stay.

Absolutely outstanding. We decided to start our Portugal holiday in the Algarve and I couldn’t be happier that we found Casa Luisandra! Peaceful, clean, refreshing pool, close to sites and restaurants but just out enough to feel extremely private. The hosts were friendly and always helpful and the made to order breakfast was always a pleasure! Especially the morning juice shot and smoothie! Hope to return one day.

The breakfast was exceptional. It would grace any 5star hotel. 3 juices - orange, a smoothie & a tonic; fresh fruit; cold meats; cheese & salmon. Choice of cooked breakfast; Limitless coffee, etc. And a surprise, which ranged from a mini pizza to a cheese & ham tart. This is no ordinary B&B; this is a boutique hotel. One has free access to pool; barbecue; lounge with balcony. Wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase. There is free parking. Uber takeaway deliveries. It is close to Lagos & Luz but quiet and airy. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The hosts are wonderful. Marlene, Conny, son Pele & Jazz (cat) all intent upon making your stay wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to feel 'at home' - the front of the house and garden is for guests, whilst the family lives at the back of the property. This Boutique Hotel is as close to perfect as one can get.
