Hotel Janardana

The service was super. We arrived late night tired and famished. The kitchen was closed. The staff was so condiderate that they cooked up a hot supper for us.

Cleanliness. They can keep the room and bathroom more tidy. Foul smell in the bathroom.

No food available at the hotel. But nearby lot of good restaurants are there. We went to Woodlands hotel which was suggested by the manager and food there was excellent. Udupi Krishna temple is hardly 500 meters from the hotel

They should keep Iron & table for the customers which is not available with them Iron facility is only available from 9-6 This is one bad thing.

Clean n big washroom and clean sheets, moderate furniture. I can say it's a decent stay in a good location with a courteous staff. Cheers 🥂

The room had a serious bed bug infestation. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of response from the reception staff. They neither acknowledged the issue nor showed any willingness to address it. Ironically, the housekeeping staff who came to the room openly admitted that there was an ongoing bed bug problem and mentioned that the reception and owners were not responsive to complaints about it. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that has such positive reviews online. Guests should not have to deal with hygiene issues of this magnitude, and the management’s indifference makes the experience even worse. I am attaching photos of the bed bugs so that prospective guests can make an informed decision before booking. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nearer to temple

The front desk staff can be more cheerful and smiling while talking to customers. Need not be so serious!!

Location of the hotel is very good, nearby to a lot of things.

No in house restaurant is a drawback especially when you want to order food to the room

Room location , facility was average. There was no provision for breakfast and kettle for boiling water. Bathroom towels were not that good. The worst was the managers dealing. We asked for a good hotel for lunch during our check out day. He referred a restaurant operated from a hut without any facilities and they served the worst fish items and charged exorbitantly. Then he arranged a taxi and for a 1.5 km ride they charged rs 500/- Very unreasonable behaviour to customers

The location was really good. All food spots and temple,church,flower and fruit market nearby.

The cost per night was a little high than usual 3 star hotels i book.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff were super polite and helpful. Owner was friendly. Perfect stay if you are travelling with family.

Ya, i liked hotel janardana, cleanliness was good and stand was also good. My one suggestion is you should include atleast breakfast in stay.

Tiny elevator, no WiFi in rooms, no separate partition for shower causing entire area to get wet after a shower, issue with hygiene- dirty cups, not cleaned, dirty kettle, rude manager

Excellent location

Location is very good, it's in town center. Rooms were clean including washroom. Even though they don't have kitchen, tea/coffee was served to us whenever it was asked. Overall it was a good stay and value for money.

If breakfast would be available in house and the parking place a bit bigger, it would have been better.

The staff specifically the manager or owner of the hotel is rude and ill civilised. We had two Ac condition delux rooms which was clearly mentioned in the PDF, but he argued and harassed us saying it was NoN Ac and i had to pay 1000extra for AC. He said if you book online through booking he will charge extra. How can booking.com allow to list such hotels. After complaining to booking.com with all the invoices, next day he apologised to me and my family for charging extra and asked not to write bad review in booking. He asured to refund 1000 immediately in my account but its been 3 days and that shameless owner hasnt refund my money yet. Avoid booking in this hotel. I have raised my complaint again to booking.com

Beddings, towels and pillow covers were fairly clean. Not worth the money

Hotel is clean and you can get restaurant near by beside hotel.Even auto stand is in front of hotel and you can get auto to go Malpe beach or for your leisure.Even the city buses and outstation bustand is beside the hotel which is ideal for 2-3 days traveller.

I liked the hotel. In few rooms AC is too old defective but staff helped us to change the room immediately.

Cleanliness part should be dere.bed sheet was old like anything n torn from many places..pillow haf full of fungi on it....so need to improve that it needs lot of maintenance..rest staff n service is good.but its just need a renovation in the room

Great location. Temple is hardly 5 mins walking distance. Bus stand is nearby. A few nice restaurants and shopping places in proximity. Room was nice. Staff is well behaved and cooperative.
