Very quiet, small hotel. Lovely sea view from our room and delicious breakfast. Good starting point for the NS500. Provided a cot for our baby.

Rooms a little small.

Frühstück: War wirklich super! Neben einem Buffet gab es auch eine Auswahl welche in der Küche vorbereitet wurde. Es gab wirklich nichts zu beklagen sondern nur Lob. Nachtessen: Wir haben auch am Abend das Nachtessen welches wir sehr genossen haben und qualitativ und quantitativ hervorragend war. Personal: Das Wichtigste ist das Personal. alle super freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Interessant war auch sie Sicht auf das Meer. Wenn man Glück hat, wir hatten es. dann kann man die Einfahrt oder Ausfahrt von grossen Passagierschiffen sehen. Diese Schiffe fahren sehr langsam am Hotel vorbei.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Alles hat bestens gepasst.

I found very comfortable however husband said his side had a big dip in it (didn’t bother me haha!)

The staff here were all very friendly. The full Scottish breakfast in the morning was amazing and they had a full table of toast, pastries, cereals, etc to choose from for other breakfast items. However, I left our full printed itinerary at this stop at our dinner table and no one tried to get it back to me. We were staying in that hotel, and it is small, so you would think they would have had it for me in the morning, called us, or brought to my room; but unfortunately we did not realize this until we were well down the road and too far to go back. Hotel never contacted us.

Comment above about our printed itinerary and unfortunately our room smelled odd (not sure how to describe, maybe a bit musty). We then opened our bathroom door and it had a strong sewer odor. My husband ran water in the bathroom shower as he thought it was likely the sewer trap, but that only helped while the water was running. Not a pleasant overnight stay unfortunately. The beds were comfortable, but with allergies it was difficult to sleep here.

The room itself was probably the only thing that was resolved within the last 10 years, however they forgot to level the floor so it feels like you drunk when you go to the loo. The mattress could do with replacing too.

Everything looked like it was not cleaned for weeks or years and not in a shabby chick way but really run down. The staircase is lethal with insufficient lights, uneven and thick carpet. Breakfast was fine but the restaurant badly looked run down paint flaking off everywhere.

Room Tv was in a funny spot mounted behind a radiator Also couldn’t really turn on the tap in the sink because it was right up against the mirror and to put the tap on you would’ve broken the mirror

The views across the firth are great. We were lucky to see cruise liners on most days. The location is not far from the A9 which is convenient. The bar/restaurant food is great, especially the breakfast.

The lobby and stair carpet is showing its age as is the restaurant furniture. It is what it is. It’s not pretending to be anything other than a bar B&B so you know what to expect.

A fabulous Inn, in a great spot for travelling up the coast. We was greeted by a friendly receptionist, room was great,it overlooked the Moray Firth. The breakfast staff were also friendly and breakfast was delicious.

All meals were fantastic. All staff were lovely and very helpful, always smiling too. We were in room 8, which had a lovely sea view.

Petit déjeuner vraiment super complet et super bon, nous avons également mangé là tous les soirs, tellement la nourriture nous a plu ! C'est le gros point fort La chambre est qualitative, la salle de douche est vraiment superbe et le personnel est super serviable et accueillant. Le rapport qualité / prix est quasiment imbattable

The room was simple but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The food we ordered from the restaurant downstairs was really good. Despite the restaurant being right below, there was no problem with excessive noise or getting a good night’s sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location with a lovely view of the bay. Parking worked out fine for us, although the car park can get quite crowded. Overall, a really nice place to stay and definitely worth recommending!

mostly everything every meal was nice and piping hot staff couldn'thelp us enough perfect was in room9 I suggest you check the operating of the sink tap before someone breaks the mirror, and if you send a plumber ask him to tighten the toilet seat but a nice time was had thank you, regards Alex&Margaret.

Von außen wirkt das Hotel nicht toll. Das Haus hat aber schöne Zimmer mit einem tollem Bad. Es gibt ein schönes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen!

Dinner and breakfast were ok. Room small but tidy and clean Room was hot as it’s above the kitchen. A fan was provided Ok at night when the kitchen closed

Fire alarm woke us all at 4:30 am We all met out in the car park. Fire crew arrived and checked it out then let us back in. Probably caused by a tenant having a early shower before departure

The staff were extremely good. The food was genuinly the best we have had, and we have been to quite a few places

A peu de carretera, però gens sorollós, pàrking just davant. Habitació de fusta amb un armari senzill i llit de matrimoni i llit individual, silló. El bany molt ampli però amb una dutxa petita i la resta pràcticament buit i amb terra de melamina.Matalassos còmodes, hem dormit molt bé. L’esmorzar és fabulós. Els croissants de mantega com els francesos, i vam demanar calent, i ens van posar salmó fumat amb remenat d’ous, boníssim i amb una porció digna d’un dinar.

Com que a sota hi ha el restaurant, els passadissos fan olor a menjar. Res gaire molest.

The location was great scenery breathtaking the meals at night were great. Best gammon steak I've had. An the cheesecake wonderful. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful the black pudding best ive had since the Stornoway black pudding a few years back. The staff were amazing and the room was spotless check in and out were great and the view out the restaurant window was great. Would definitely book again no hesitation

A nice vibe in an old Inn with a comfy leather lounge & armchairs in the entry. The surprise was the rooms which have been tastefully renovated respecting the imprint of the Inn but with all the modern comforts. The dining area has views to the water, the menu offers simple but tasty "Inn" cooking. Breakfast was really good & included in the price. Staff were friendly, service good.

Our room was quite small so a little tight moving around it in two. The amenities were good, the bed comfortable, so it wasn't a real problem for one night.

Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig mit frischen Früchten. Der Lachs mit dem Rührei sehr gut. Eines der besten Frühstückbuffet die ich bis jetzt hatte auf den britischen Inseln. Das Abendessen war auch sehr gut.

Das Zimmer war klein. Ich habe meinen Reiseblog (schottland.nordlandreise.ch) im Pub geschrieben.

Es war ein wirklich angenehmes Hotel für den Zwischenstop auf den Weg in den Norden. Das Frühstück war richtig klasse.

Abbiamo prenotato due stanze adiacenti Molto moderne e pulite. Tanti prodotti per doccia, biscotti, the, caffè. Intorno all'hotel non c'è molto per cui è consigliabile prenotare anche la cena (ottima). Colazione abbondante e di buona qualità

Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war sehr schön. Die lage direkt am wasser ist herrlich. Mein Zimmer war sehr schön Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Good value for money

Le style de l'hôtel peut paraitre désuet au premier abord mais pas du tout. Dans son jus local avec tout le confort dans la chambre et tres propre. Restaurant et petit déjeuner British FABULEUX avec un personnel intentionné et poli. La vue sur mer depuis l'hôtel est magnifique.

Comfortable accommodation right on the banks of the Cromarty Firth. We had a good dinner in the restaurant and a good breakfast the next morning in the extension overlooking the water. The staff at Tuckers Inn were also friendly, the rooms were surprisingly modern and clean.

There is only one such thing: since this is an Inn, non-residents naturally use the car park, which has a limited capacity. Because of this, when we arrived, I could only park further away, and had to drag our suitcases to the hotel from there. After the restaurant closed, of course there was already space in the parking lot.

The room was comfortable and clean. The shower is good. There was a little noise from inside but I wasn't troubled by noise from the road. The breakfast was very good. The parking was free and convenient.

La propreté et les chambres rénovées dans un cadre simple mais très efficace. Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant. Le petit déjeuner est très correct.

We had a room with seaside view. Hotel was closed when we arrived, but they allowed for late check-in via a phone call. Breakfast was excellent, especially the black pudd.

The mattresses feel a bit uncomfortable, but we managed to sleep anyways and slept well.

Room was certainly small. So was the bathroom! But it did the job. No issues.

We stayed for one night. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We arrived after all the restaurants in town had closed so we walked to a nearby take away place and ate on the outdoor picnic benches before settling in for the night. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Our rooms included breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Inn is waterfront and was in a nice area.

Absolutely lovely room 😍 Corridors need some attention so wasn't overly optimistic but the room surprised and surpassed expectation. Comfy bed, great bathroom/shower/toiletries. We ate in restaurant food was lovely. Breakfast was excellent- great choice. My smoked salmon/scrambled eggs was a huge and tasty portion. Staff were great Great value for price paid and definitely recommend

Corridors need some decor improvements but this does not detract from this being a great place to stay

This place surprised us excellent spot for touring northern Scotland. Modern comfy rooms with excellent staff and astonishing food with plenty of options.

Das Zimmer entsprach der Beschreibung und dem Foto. Es war sehr sauber, hatte einen Wasserkocher, Kaffee- und Teezubehör, einen Fön. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Bad war super, gross, hell und sah neu renoviert aus. Am Abend haben wir Fish und Fries gegessen...der war wirklich gut. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Grosse Auswahl, Eierspeisen konnten bestellt werden. Es war lecker, das Buffet immer sauber, die Dame füllte bis zum Schluss auf, sie war sehr freundlich. Auch der Abendservice war sehr freundlich, man fühlte sich willkommen.

Das Einzige und wirklich das Einzige, der Küchengeruch kam durch den Türschlitz ins Zimmer.

Our stay was nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant—the food was perfectly seasoned and very enjoyable.

Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing. The poached eggs were overcooked, which spoiled the experience.

Perfect location for travelling to the site I was working at, very friendly staff and went out of their way to make my meal as I was working late and the kitchen was closed when I got finished.

The staff were excellent. The 2 young ladies on duty when we checked in and had our evening meal were very efficient, incredibly friendly and did everything with a smile. They are a credit. Evening meal was very tasty and good value for money.

The restaurant was a fine place for a meal in the evening. Good breakfast. Good view on the firth. Places to sit ourside. I enjoyed.

Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser und hervorragendes Essen. Das 3-Bett-Zimmer war klein, aber gemütlich und mit Blick auf's Wasser.

The food was absolutely amazing and the choice on the menu was plenty and as a group of six we were all well impressed. Rooms were modern and ticked all the boxes for us plus all the staff were friendly, approachable, pleasant and couldn't do enough for you.

The weather as always in Scotland but apart from that we were all more then happy with the complete package the Tuckers inn provided.

Staff were super friendly, I was unable to stay for breakfast as I had an early checkout so they prepared me a packed lunch to take with me the next day. the room was excellent with a great view of the water. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent & there was a great choice for gluten free.
