Нигде не упоминается, что они берут депозит в таком же размере, сколько стоит ваше проживание. То есть вы оставляете x2 денег, половину из которых вам вернут после выселения в течении нескольких дней. В некоторых случаях денег на депозит может и не быть.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026La posizione è molto comoda, puoi raggiungere la metro di Songhong camminando attraverso il centro commerciale. Per giorni piovosi è un gran vantaggio. La vicinanza al centro commerciale con moltissimi bei negozi e ristoranti, oltre che all'IKEA è davvero comodissimo. La colazione è buonissima e varia. La piscina piccolina ma ben curata. Anche la palestra è ben attrezzata.
Il wifi dell'albergo è totalmente instabile. Ho dovuto usare l'hotspot del mio cellulare per dei meeting online perchè la linea continuava a saltare. E' una grossa pecca se si intende lavorare dalla propria stanza.

Some staff, not all, pretty poor level of speaking English. Since quite alot of international guests when I was there, this should still be improved. There is a nice bar and lounge area next to the lobby, but the bar opening hours unclear and restricted, closed early. WiFi cut out and unstable in the room, but for most part it's ok.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Novotel Shanghai Hongqiao was a practical choice for my business trip during CMEF, mainly because of its convenient location near the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC). Commuting to the exhibition venue was easy and saved a significant amount of time each day. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable enough to rest well after long exhibition hours. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, making it easy to start the day without needing to search for food outside. The check-in and check-out process was generally smooth, and the staff handled guests professionally. There were also nearby convenience stores and restaurants, which added to the overall convenience of the stay.
Although the location was excellent for exhibition purposes, it is farther from central Shanghai and major tourist attractions, so travel time can be longer if sightseeing is part of the trip. During busy exhibition periods, the lobby can become crowded and check-in may take more time than usual. Hotel rates tend to increase during major trade fair seasons.

Whether you're into local flavors or international dishes, there's something for everyone. We never left the table hungry! The welcome tea was a lovely touch that instantly made us feel at home — honestly one of the best we've had! A special mention goes to the staff — they were exceptionally helpful and always went out of their way to make sure guests felt welcome and attended to. They even helped us in booking taxis and they are helpful in every way. Their warm service truly made a difference. The location is also a huge plus — very strategic and conveniently close to a mall, making it easy to shop, dine, or explore without having to travel far. Overall, a wonderful experience and we'd definitely recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The only minor drawbacks during our stay were a couple of hiccups that are worth mentioning. The aircon was broken and the room temperature was a bit on the warm side, which made it slightly uncomfortable esp when sleeping. It would be great if the cooling system could be improved or given more control to guests. We also encountered a small issue with our booking — our initial reservation wasn't reflected in their system upon check-in, which required us to re-book on the spot and cancel the previous one. It was a bit of an inconvenience, especially after a long trip. That said, the staff handled everything with grace and professionalism, and aside from these minor concerns, the overall experience was still exceptional and well worth it!

Lejos del centro de Shanghai. Parada de metro más cercana a unos 15min andando. Staff no habla inglés.

Todo fue muy correcto. El personal de recepción, a pesar de no hablar muy bien inglés, usaba traductores automáticos para ofrecer toda la ayuda necesaria. No destacaría nada por mejorar.
