The birds, the quite, the beautiful green, all and everything about the Guest House captures the best of Eshowe which is why I would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Town and why I will book gain when I return. It also made leaving Eshowe hard.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Room was decently appointed, with a warm comfortable bed, clean linen, and yes calls from the local birds in the morning. Breakfast was basic, but good. Block out curtains helped to keep bright flood lights outside, out of the room at night. Pretty peaceful.
The bathroom grouting etc. is showing signs of wear.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2025Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und reichlich. Wir hatten im Vorfeld darauf hingewiesen, dass unsere Enkeltochter Veganerin ist. Für sie wurden extra Muffins gebacken und der Frühstücksraum war sehr gemütlich, in einem wunderschönen Garten gelegen. Das Personal war sehr herzlich.

They surely take good care of you from the momment you step into the lodge and surely dont want to leave. Indeed its Paradise. The Birds are so so peaceful! A bird sanctuary at your doorstep! I would rate the 6 out of 5! Wonderful work
