Room was huge. Well equipped and comfortable. Fridge. Safe. Large tv. Huge window with coffee table and chairs. Walk in shower. Air conditioning.

It’s a little dated around the edges

Perfect location. The staff were exceptional. Room spacious and clean, large bathroom with a walk in shower and bath. Unfortunately not serving food day/evening but we did have breakfast which was excellent, really good standard with plenty of choice. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The included breakfast was high quality with lots of vegetarian options. The bar had a good choice of drinks and served delicious burgers and messy fries.

This is the 4th stay for us, rooms are looking tired, bathroom needs attention and the breakfast is nowhere near as good as when we first stayed. Took along time to bring it too. Also the pub was rammed and not an enjoyable check in experience .

We stayed in the king size room,but I didn’t realise it was top floor which when your our age and not really fit was a bit of a struggle .but room was lovely and clean,comfy bed ,great shower . Staff were lovely too . Breakfast was amazing and the young girl who did the breakfast she was so lovely and chatty which made us feel very welcome .she couldn’t do enough for us and she is definitely a bonus to the pub . Right in the town and free parking which is a bonus .loved our stay and will definitely be booking again thanks to all your staff 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

Room on the 3rd floor, poor lights as they flashed during the night until we removed the plug. Sink in bathroom kept sticking. Shower screen leaked on the floor as door didn’t fit properly. Had to have the window open to have the air con on, which defeated the object as the proper air con not working. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. No toilet roll holder and no window 8n the bathroom.

The Tilman offers a real surprise! On arrival It looks like a very traditional,and very popular, Welsh pub but the bedrooms are anything but traditional - very contemporary with a real eye for design, wet room,comfy bed, lots of nice touches.Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast served in the bar

Apart from breakfast which was excellent the only food the Tilman offers is a wide range of burgers.Very tasty but a wider choice of food would be nice so avoiding the need to dine elsewhere!

Clean, spacious & quiet, despite being on the Main Street it was the perfect spot, handy for bars, restaurants, shopping & the beach. A short walk to the railway station (5mins).

Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were all very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was spacious and very comfy bed and nice little things like biscuits and fancy water.

Only a few small things to note. The floor in the room was not as completely spotless as I would expect. No tissues available in the room and when room was freshened up they didn’t take away dirty glasses. A few more toiletries would also be a nice addition. Only minor things though, overall lovely.

The laid back professionalism of the staff. Warm welcome. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. The boutique look of the rooms and the most comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Secure parking area which was an added bonus. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

We loved the room which had a bath and a separate shower also. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. Nearby private car parking was very helpful. Great central location and short walk to the beach. Staff were friendly.

The room is not routinely cleaned or towels changed unless we put the sign on the door for that purpose. We didn’t mind this as we made our own beds and if we needed anything we would ask one of the staff. A better approach would be to routinely clean the room unless stated otherwise.

Very good breakfasts particularly the first day second day the bagel was a bit chewy .

Unfortunately the internet net did not work on both days and it was not possible to get it working. We had to access the internet from the staircase not a big issue but rather frustrating.

No toilet paper in room, had to go into staff closet to find early Tuesday morning. Breakfast on Weds very slow, 5ins from ordering to being presented

Die Frühstücksoptionen, abgesehen vom klassischen englischen Frühstück, waren überschaubar. Kellogg‘s abgepackt und Yoghurts, Dänisch. Z.B. wäre Granola ode Haferflocken wünschenswert. Aber: Englisches Frühstück war top.

Every single staff member we encountered at The Tilman was friendly and helpful. They kindly stored our bags before check-in so we could walk around the area unhindered. A member of staff helped to carry our luggage up to our room and offered help with our questions, and the bar and breakfast service were great. Breakfast here is both continental style and cooked to order with a large selection of dishes that use local ingredients. The room was a good size, and the bed was large and comfortable. We had a choice between both a bath and a shower in the bathroom. Everything was clean, and toiletries such as hand soap, body wash, and shampoo were available. The cans of drinks in the fridge were a nice touch, and we had plenty of tea and coffee facilities to make our own drinks. The location of the hotel is great - it is right in the centre of the town and everything (e.g. shops, places to eat, the beach/harbour, public transport, etc.) is easily accessible. Despite there being a bar directly beneath our room and other guests staying at the hotel, it remained incredibly quiet and offered us a relaxing space to rest.

I was slightly disappointed that the room I had requested had been given to another guest, but the staff were apologetic and helpful and gave us other options such as the same type of room on a different floor or a partial refund. The room and the corridor were rather hot, but the weather had been muggy. We opened our window further, and it managed to clear the air somewhat. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we will be returning.

We are seniors and were placed on the 3rd floor which required a lot of steps. We were fine with this but some may not be. My only suggestion would be to ask in advance is stairs are an issue.

It’s not that we didn’t like it it’s more just we were slightly disappointed in breakfast, after seeing it was rated as excellent on booking.com we expected … more? I had the eggs Benedict but the muffins were a little stale and had no butter on, plus the bacon was smoked - which wasn’t apparent until it came out. My partner ordered the hunter (full English essentially) but he basically said it would have been nice to have been given toast or something for the table too… we were still hungry, and they had left some tiny pastries on the bar top, which were delicious, we had one each but that’s all there was available - it would have been nice if there was a plate full

Not the first time we have stopped at the Tillman.  However this time we booked a superior room,7 although more expensive well worth the extra. Had one small issue but the outstanding way it was dealt with demonstrated exceptional customer care. Room was immaculate. And the inclusive breakfasts were outstanding both a good choice and quality Complementary parking was an added bonus. Thank you to everyone.

A lift would have been appreciated as our room was on the second floor and we both have some mobility issues. Would like to thank Connor who was very helpful carrying our luggage to the room and back down at the end of our stay.

Our room was recently refurbished with air conditioning and very comfortable bed. Great breakfast in morning Very helpful staff, especially Dale and good central location.

Above a very busy and noisy bar- however once in the room very little noise could be heard.

The breakfast was exceptional, freshly cooked and hot using local produce which all added to the experience. Our room was extremely clean and in lovely order and equipped with everything we needed including a kettle tea coffee and biscuits and milk, the bathroom had lovely soft quality towels and the shower was superb and with all necessary toiletries provided. Our bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The room was lovely and quiet as promised as we had requested a quiet room if it was possible and the staff at the Tilman certainly delivered.

A small fridge would have been useful but the lack of this didn't at all detract from our experience in fact it is very difficult if not impossible to find a fault with anything at the Tilman .

Booked a short break for our friends 40th birthday. Location excellent, room excellent too the bed was one of the comfiest that we've had in any hotel. The breakfast on the 2 mornings were hot and tasty so all good.
