The riad is nestled down a little alleyway in the medina which may seem a little spooky when arriving at night, but once you are through the door you will be met with stylish and traditional moroccan decor, comfortable couches, comfortable beds and perfect en suite facilities. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace. Everyone recommends staying at Riads when travelling to Morocco and they're not wrong. Riad Anais was excellent. The young manager Tarek deserves a special mention for being exceptionally warm and welcoming. He was full of helpful recommendations for navigating the markets and sight-seeing. A bright young man: he speaks fluent english, french, arabic and berber so if you speak those languages you will be in very safe, capabale hands.

I didn't like being asked to think of something i disliked because I loved it and I would go back there and tell everyone about it ad nauseum

i love my room. they gave me room on the ground level and i love it (they offer upgrade to upper level at additional charge but i love my room better no thanks) The place is beautifully decorated Host, both the girl & the guy are very friendly and helpful (sorry im writing this weeks later i have forgotten both name) Theres a local hammam around the corner and its cheap with friendly locals (i was the only foreigner there) A LOT of breakfast for one person. all bread but its good! (but maybe some eggs please) the toiletries smells so good i like this part of medina.

its not accessible by car. taxi will drop you off at the nearest point and you have to navigate the small alleys (daunting for the first time but once youre familiar with the area its ok. same for other riad anyway) breakfast at rooftop so, stairs. this is a plus for me but just letting people know its a bit of walk to main square (but there are many other good eateries around this area. wont recommend going to jema el fina anyway its full of scammers) a bit gloomy cos the courtyard is small (but its also intimate and romantic)

Teniendo 3 noches contratadas, el día antes de llegar nos dijeron que tenían un problema de alojamiento para la primera noche y que reservásemos en otro riad de al lado para esa primera noche, el cual era de inferior categoría.

Such a fantastic Riad to stay in when visiting Marrakech! I booked for 4 nights and loved it so much I extended another 3. The courtyard, rooms and terrace are all superb. When you first walk in it's like stepping into a relaxing, calm oasis. It's spacious, quiet and for me, the perfect accommodation to retreat to when after enjoying the bustle of Marrakech. The Riad is in northern Medina so you have Souks and cafes right on your doorstep. It's down a twisty alleyway but is easy to find and safe at night. The beds are comfortable and facilities all great. Breakfasts are incredible; crepes, omlettes, honey cake, coffee and fruit. And the view from the terrace in the evening is wonderful. I did several tours when there, and every tour van was able to easily pick me up from 'College Mohamed 5' which is a 2 min walk from the Riad, so it worked perfectly. Big thanks to team for such a warm welcome and top tier service my entire stay; Tarak, Leila & Simo. Had great conversations with them, they generously shared plenty of local recommendations, and I learned a lot about local life. Do yourself a favour and choose Riad Anais for your next visit to Marrakech!

Nagyon elégedettek voltunk a szállással. A házigazdák rendkívül kedvesek és segítőkészek. A riad pontosan olyan, mint a képeken: tiszta és rendezett. Csendes, nyugodt környéken található, de a belváros is könnyen elérhető. A reggeli is nagyon finom volt, csak ajánlani tudom!

The location it’s not the best since it’s in a small alley with no movement and if you arrive at night you it’s better to have someone with you

The breakfast service was amazing every morning, fresh and delicious. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and beautifully prepared. The riad is very quiet and peaceful, perfect to relax after a busy day in the medina. One thing we absolutely loved was the parfum at the entrance and the shower gel ,the smell is just wow and gives such a luxury feeling. The whole experience felt elegant, comfortable, and authentic. Highly recommended!

Notre séjour au Riad Anaïs était tout simplement exceptionnel. Dès notre arrivée, le niveau d’attention et de gentillesse d’Ahmed et de toute l’équipe nous a fait sentir immédiatement comme à la maison, bien plus que dans un simple hôtel. Rien n’a jamais été trop compliqué. Le personnel était attentionné, chaleureux et toujours disponible avec d’excellentes recommandations pour les restaurants et les endroits à découvrir autour de Marrakech. Ils ont rendu l’organisation de nos activités très facile, en s’occupant de tout pour nous et en veillant à ce que chaque expérience soit fluide, transparente et luxueuse, même pour les transfers. Le riad est magnifique, très calme et décoré avec énormément de goût. Les chambres étaient spacieuses, impeccablement propres et très confortables. Le parfum à l’entrée ainsi que les produits dans la salle de bain apportaient une vraie touche de luxe et de raffinement. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, frais et généreux chaque matin. Toute l’expérience au Riad Anaïs était élégante, paisible et authentiquement marocaine. Merci encore à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir.

An amazing stay at Riad Anaïs. The riad is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located in Marrakech. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and every detail felt luxurious. The dinner at the riad was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals we had in Marrakech. the team were incredibly kind and attentive, helped us organize amazing excursions and activities during our stay. making us feel truly at home. We will definitely come back again.

A casa e o quarto são bonitos como na foto.

Faz parte do círculo de business de Riads mal administrado em Marrocos, não é autêntico, tratamento frio, pior que hotel íbis, por ser uma casa, falta muita empatia, existe uma tentativa de empatia com o rapaz fingindo querer indicar locais interessantes, mas da pra perceber que é forçado, café da amanhã é bem limitado, o ralo do chuveiro do quarto no térreo não escoava água. Inventaram um problema com o pagamento pelo booking jogando a culpa no meu cartão e nos forçaram a cancelar a reserva e pagar diretamente para eles, assim eles não precisam pagar as taxas do booking, parece que é uma coisa comum neste riad, conversamos com outro hóspedes.

Prilikom rezervacije smestaja uporno mi je odbijana kartica, pa mi je otkazana rezervacija.

A localização é excelente e de fácil acesso para chegar de taxi. Próximo ao comércio e a rua com acesso a carros.

They play around with Payment method, dont mention if amenities are priced until check out and they overcharge you. They dont accept credit card.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce riad idéalement situé pour découvrir la médina et se balader dans les souks. L’emplacement est vraiment parfait. Le personnel est très agréable, attentionné et toujours disponible, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le riad est propre, calme, et les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse du Riad est incroyable. Une seconde terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur l’Atlas. Un séjour que je recommande sans hésiter.

I found Raid Annis to be a little Oasis tucked away down a quiet back street at the edge of the Madina, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, but within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully appointed and the guys running it were super welcoming and friendly. With only five spacious rooms centred around a courtyard, it really did feel like home after a while. I stayed an extra two nights in the end. Could not recommend more!

Tarek war ein super Gastgeber, die Betten sind bequem und die Dachterasse hat uns gut gefallen.

Das ist nicht spezifisch für dieses Hotel, aber generell für Hotels in Marrakesch: für den Preis, den man in Marrakesch für ein Hotel bezahlt, lebt man in anderen Teilen des Landes wie ein König.

Très beau riad remarquablement décoré et qui offre un havre de paix dans ce quartier. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables, Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce Riad très bien situé , avec un personnel aux petits soins. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi avec une décoration très soignée, un passage par le spa/massage est incontournable. Les petits-déjeuners sont très bons, ainsi que les repas. La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter la vieille ville à pieds., nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés.

No me pude hospedar ya que se reservar me tomaron la tarjeta por el pago y luego no había habitacion, así que tuvimos que salir a buscar otro hotel de emergencia. Para encontrar el hotel pensionado es muy difícil como casi todos los Riad

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au riad Anaïs. Situé au cœur de la Médina, nous avons pu visiter Marrakech à pied très facilement et en toute sécurité. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner, copieux et complet, était servi sur le toit terrasse au soleil du matin. Le service est impeccable. Enfin et surtout, nos hôtes ont été attentionnés et de bons conseils pour les visites qu'ils nous ont aidées à organiser, un grand merci à Simo et Tarik.

We had a great stay here, very central location, though slightly away from the noise. The breakfast on the rooftop every morning was exceptional with fresh pressed juice and Moroccan bread/ pancakes. Thanks also to Tarek for a warm welcome and all the great recommendations!

A very traditional, beautiful riad in the heart of the medina. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout. A welcome tea was a lovely touch. Very good breakfasts. Clean and comfortable!

We stayed for a dinner and were told this would be 25 euros each and were later charged 30 euros each. Other than the change in cost, the meal was quite expensive for the money, especially as some food was slightly overcooked. However, the meal as a whole was good. We were slightly concerned with our noise levels as walls/doors seemed quite thin but we very seldom heard noise from others (overall quiet).

They are dodgy

Eine Oase der Ruhe und Privatheit in der quirligen alten Medina. Sehr kleines Haus, sehr persönlich und freundlich geführt. Innenhof und Dachterrasse sind wunderschön, die Zimmer individuell und landestypische ausgestattet. Wie ein Zuhause. Vielen Dank.

Leider kann man nicht mit dem Taxi vorfahren (einige Minuten Fußweg). Ein Sessel im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, making suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The Riad was beautiful and serene, and breakfast was delicious.

The decor and ambience of the internal ‘courtyard’ is exceptional. The furniture, fountain, drapes and beautiful plants etc make the area feel rather luxurious. The bedroom was also beautifully decorated and furnished. Taking breakfast or a dinner of authentic Moroccan dishes on the roof terrace is delightful and the food served was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and a special shout out goes to Tarek and Laila for providing impeccable service and being super helpful. We especially appreciated Tarek making time to talk to us about the Moroccan way of life and ensuring we got breakfast in our room on the days when we had to go out before breakfast was being served. The arias is in a convenient location for the most interested souks - such as babouches (slippers), woodcarving, wool dyeing etc and also reach other parts of the city or the airport.

We would have liked a TV in the room. The Riad is located within a complex of alleyways off one of the souks which is a bit off-putting at first, but we felt completely safe at all times.

La posizione è fantastica e la struttura è bellissima e super pulita, con anche una bella terrazza.

La colazione è buona ma non ricca, soprattutto se si deve fare colazione prima dell’orario stabilito dalla struttura.

First things first, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. A big thanks to Tarek who welcomes you and gives you a good starting point in everything. Also need to mention Leila who is the cook and prepares all the delicious breakfast but also keeps the rooms tidy and clean. The location of Riad Anaïs is perfect because it is at the beginning of the Souk therefore easily accessible when coming from the airport or leaving. No need to walk through narrow streets with luggage. The Riad is very quiet and has a beautiful Rooftop to sunbathe. I definitely recommend this place.

Posizione super centrale ma comunque molto silenziosa, la colazione preparata al momento buonissima e abbondante, l’estetica della struttura molto bella, rooftop molto carino. Ottimo wifi. Deposito bagagli gratuito dopo il check out. Tarek gentilissimo e attento a ogni esigenza.

Nonostante la camera fosse molto bella, purtroppo aveva alcuni difetti: in primis era molto umida, in secondo luogo il bagno aveva una finestra minuscola che non si riusciva ad aprire (era posizionata molto in alto). Pertanto, dopo la doccia il bagno si trasformava in un bagno turco ed era difficile far andare via l’umidità. In ultimo, l’illuminazione di bagno e camera era davvero scarsa, rendendo l’atmosfera sicuramente molto romantica ma poco funzionale.

Das orientalische Flair, die Sauberkeit, die Ruhe, wirklich zum Wohlfühlen Auch das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Good location, small, cozy and beautiful riad, clean room and a nice breakfast! :)

We had no hot water on our first day!! In the beginning we were told that we need to leave running water for few minutes, later - that hot water will be in 20 minutes and finally we found out that some repairment needs to be done and hot water will be later in a day, so we ended up wasting our time waiting for nothing when we could spend it for exploring the city. Coming after the desert tour without hot shower the day before that was really not a pleasant surprise.

Atención, no confirman la reserva y luego utilizan la tarjeta de crédito!! Como si hubiera pagado ahí en persona!!!! Son unos ladrones . Mucho cuidado!!!! No pongáis un pie ahí!

No confirman, te dicen que la tarjeta no es válida. Y luego te pasan el pago diciendo que se solo van las leyes de cancelación, ademas el banco me ha dicho que es como si hubiera pagado ahí en persona,, me han robado 305 euros!

An oasis tucked a short distance away from the bustling streets of the Medina. It’s a very beautiful riad with very spacious & comfortable rooms. From the first moment we landed in Marrakech, we were well looked after! Everything is walking distance from the riad. Would love to stay again.

It’s well hidden inside the Medina, took us a while to find it, the place is very nice but very noisy

The staff at the Riad were lovely and extremely helpful. When we arrived, we were having some issues with a previous accommodation. They helped us out where they could and were instrumental in our regrouping. The facilities were great, especially the rooftop and the views.

The property looks exactly like the pictures. I had some trouble with the payment on Booking, but the staff kindly allowed me to pay upon arrival and secured the room for us. We were even upgraded and ended up with an amazing bedroom. The breakfast was excellent, served on the sunny rooftop, which gets sunshine all day. The staff welcomed us with tea upon arrival and were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The riad is located within the souk and is a bit hidden, but it feels very safe. We were two girls traveling together and had no issues at all. There is no parking available if you arrive by car. Highly recommended riad! 🌟

The atmosphere of the riad is so lovely. I love the details. Breakfast was good and very enough. Tarek and Leila did everything for my comfort. Tarek has been a perfect host. The location of the Riad is perfect. I walked everywhere in every time of the day.

I liked everything but it was a very cold period to be in Marrakesh. So i felt a bit cold during nights in my room.

The best Riad to stay which we highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Marrakesh! The location was inside the medina centere so perfect area. The atmosphere was friendly and we felt like it had a family, caring atmosphere. The staff were so thoughtful and could not do enough for us. The rooms were spotless with clean sheets and towels changed daily. Toiletries were supplied and we never went short. The value was amazing and would highly recommend this lovely riad. Breakfast was included and we tried the food on our last night. We regretted not having dinner more as the meal was the best we ate on our two week holiday. This is the perfect Riad to have a wonderful holiday.

Este Ryad es un paraíso escondido en la medina de Marrakech. Las habitaciones son una maravilla, la cama súper cómoda. No se escucha absolutamente nada. Tiene una terraza maravillosa, donde te sirven un desayuno buenísimo. Y destacar la atención de Leila y Tarek, que han sido serviciales y encantadores en cada momento.

Le doy un 10 a este Riad.

Accueil très chaleureux. Une climatisation réversible qui chauffe super bien, c’était vraiment agréable fin novembre car les soirées sont très fraîches. Un petit déjeuner copieux. La possibilité de dîner sur place sur reservation. Nous avons adoré ce ravissant Riad, très bien placé au cœur de la Médina, tout en étant très calme. Facile d’accès, il faut juste 5 minutes depuis le parking.

Todo es un pequeño hermoso Riad en el centro de marrakech! Nos encanto el servicio, nos explicaron a detalle con un te . Todo lo que teníamos que ver, nos recibieron con un upgrade de habitación decorada por nuestro aniversario y en nuestro dia especial nos esperaron despiertos, nos hicieron un pastel DELICIOSO y nos dieron unas flores.. simplemente hicieron que nuestras noches ahi fuera unicas.. como lo imaginamos! Nos dieron un super boxlunch para el desayuno (porque salíamos temprano) . La atencion en el desayuno fue excepcional! Y desde que hice la reservacion estuvieron en contacto conmigo por whats app ! Fueron muy muy lindos.. lo recomiendo mucho.. recomiendo tambien que agreguen la transportacion aeropuerto-hotel.. nosotros lo tomamos y fue la mejor decisión. Queremos agradecer a Tarek, Simo y Leila.. ellos 3 fueron clave importante para que nuestra estancia en el Riad y en Marrakech fuera única. Recordaremos este aniversario de bodas siempre!

Riad super limpio, personal amable y servicial. Buenas ubicación. Hubo un error con el pago del alojamiento y me ofrecieron almorzar gratis para compensar ese malentendido. Lo recomiendo sin lugar a duda.

The location of the riad was great — it’s close to the main road, which makes it much easier to access compared to many other riads in the Medina. We really appreciated not having to walk a long distance with heavy luggage. However, the rooms were quite run down and lacked basic equipment. They were also very small, so if you’re sharing with another person, it can feel a bit cramped. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well and we noticed a few small bugs, which was disappointing. The overall lighting in both the room and bathroom was quite poor, which made it difficult to get ready comfortably. On a positive note, breakfast on the rooftop was lovely. It was served fresh every morning and included a nice variety of pastries, breads, and jams — a great way to start the day. One of the highlights was that it was my friend’s birthday during our stay, and the lady who prepared breakfast surprised her with a homemade birthday cake. That personal gesture was very sweet and genuinely appreciated. Overall, while the staff was kind and attentive, the property itself didn’t feel like good value for money compared to other riads we stayed at in Marrakesh that offered a higher standard of comfort and cleanliness.
