They have a termite issue which they didnt advise until check in. So there were dead bugs on the bed. They do leave an info packet explaining why they are there but this should be made aware before booking. The room itself was not cleaned very well. The area is amazing!!!

Estaría bien que para las habitaciones del otro lado se pudiera entrar por la otra puerta por la que actualmente sólo se puede salir, no habría que recorrer tantas escaleras y pasillos con las maletas

The arrival was easy, following instructions for access. I had forgotten that I had ordered breakfast, so when the picnic baskets arrived in the morning, it was a nice surprise. Going up then down stairs to access our room was a bit peculiar, but not a big deal. It would certainly add to the comfort to have either bigger pillows, or two of the same size currently used for each guest. What a great location!

Très bon séjour à la Casa Conforto. Bien situé dans centre Ponta Delgada. Propre. Chambre spacieuse. Très bon petit déjeuner copieux. Accès à la cuisine. Seul point faible : la chambre donnait sur la rue et donc bruyante à cause des voitures le soir et le matin. Bcp de circulation. Mais je recommande tout de même.

Wir waren im Zimmer 11. Das Zimmer hatte ca. 30 Grad und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Wir konnten aufgrund der Hitze kaum schlafen. Die Bettdecke hatte Flecken. Hoffentlich sind nicht alle Zimmer so… Die Kommunikation mit der Reception war nicht kooperativ und unprofessionell. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder nach Ponta Delgada, aber nicht in dieses Hotel.

Die Unterkunft hat beim Betreten furchtbar und leider auch sehr lange gerochen. Angeblich das Putzmittel. Die Fenster/Tür sollte wegen Ungeziefer nicht geöffnet werden. Der Raum konnte somit nicht mit Frischluft versorgt werden. Das Kühlgerät läuft ja nur im Umluftbetrieb. Wir haben trotzdem das Fenster/Tür geöffnet und dann festgestellt das wir zum Innenhof das Zimmer hatten und genau an unserer Wand drei Aussengeräte der Kühleinrichtungen montiert sind, die natürlich wenn sie laufen laut sind. Zudem hat die Unterkunft keinen Aufzug, das Gepäck muss man auf der ersten Stock tragen. Das Frühstück wird von einem externen Dienstleister in einem Korb morgens bereitgestellt. Viel Müll geht einher, Qualität mässig. Alles in allem für zwei Nächte zum aushalten ok, aber keine hervorragende Bewertung wert. Nur einfach/mäßig. Vorteil, sehr zentral gelegen. Man ist zu Fuss direkt im Zentrum.

The rooms specially the bathroom should have more options for hanging towels and wet clothes.

Gli appartamenti sono in centro , molto comodi a tutto il centro. Comoda la piccola cucina in comune. Difficolta' per parcheggio.

The only problem we had was the lack towel rack and having wet towels and swimsuits from our cascade hickes, wet towels from the beach and wet towels from using the shower, it would have been nice to have a couple places to hang stuff other than in the wardrobe.

Great location near the center, church, across street a cafe-pastelria, restaurante churasco, near 2 mini mercados, they have a nice kitchen. The rooms are totally updated and modern. The shower is hot and has good pressure.

Como habitualmente, impecável. Será sempre das primeiras opções em Ponta Delgada.

Correu muito bem, os quartos são espaçosos e confortáveis. Só faço um reparo, o pequeno almoço poderia incluir algo mais típico dos Açores como por exemplo o pão levedo.

Great place in the center of Ponta Delgada. Rooms are to great spec and very nice Skandi design. Very clean. Staff is super friendly and was very helpful giving great restaurant recommendations. Street parking available but charged during the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Conforto, with one notable exception, the internet. The location was amazing (walkable to everything in Ponta Delgada). The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. The towels amazing. The only reason I didn't give it a smiley face was because of the internet. It is awful!!!!! You get kicked out about every 15 minutes and have to resign back in and are directed to their Facebook page. When we questioned the staff about it they said it was for security reasons, which I find hard to believe. I've stayed at many hotels and Air B&B's, travel frequently yet have never experienced this before. If you need reliable internet, this is not the place for you.

Ao efetuar a reserva na plataforma Hotéis, a minha opção recaiu na reserva mais cara e que era relativa ao pagamento da mesma NO ATO DO CHECK IN tal como comprova a mensagem recebida após reserva: "Não se preocupe, não efetuamos qualquer cobrança. O pagamento da reserva e de quaisquer taxas e despesas adicionais incorridas durante a estadia será efetuado diretamente no estabelecimento, na moeda local. Estes custos poderão estar sujeitos a uma taxa de câmbio." Ou seja, a reserva seria paga no dia 2 de Janeiro. A propriedade, desrespeitando o acordado, efetuou a cobrança no dia 1 de janeiro no Cartão de Crédito que serviria APENAS e NESTE CASO, para garantir a reserva e que ainda guardo no meu email: Se eu quisesse pagar com o CC teria obviamente escolhido esta opção que, registo, era de valor inferior. Em suma, e não colocando em causa as instalações, a nota para o serviço prestado é negativa. A propriedade foi alertada para este facto quer via telefone e posteriormente por email. Poderia e DEVERIA ter sido efetuada a restituição do valor para o CC (é um processo possível).

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Conforto. It was absolutely wonderful. We would’ve stayed our entire trip here but we didn’t book soon enough. Staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Anna, who answered all of our questions.. and we had some everyday :). The room was so clean and comfortable. Soft bed, high ceilings, excellent shower :). The location is perfect for exploring the city, shops and restaurants. We rented a car and it was very easy to find parking. No charge after 7pm and travelling in and out of the city was a easy. My boyfriend and I were very happy with Casa Conforto. We are now staying in Casa Arcades which is the same company and it’s just as wonderful. It’s been all around an excellent stay. We will definitely be stay here again!

Rooms were beautiful and common kitchen and living room were conveniet. Near the hotel there was a nice sea swimming facility.

Bang in the centre, so very well located. No dedicated parking but easy to park on the street wherever you can grab one or the park house (paid during workdays). Great living room and kitchen. Arranged car rental for us at a cheaper price - was the cheapest across our 18 days in Azores. Hotel and room was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. Some improvement points are 1. The room wasn't prepared for 2 adults and 2 kids though it was mentioned in the booking - credit to the staff though who honestly accepted the mistake and fixed the issue within the next hour. The room can be a small for a family (It's European size) but if you're just looking for a clean bed to sleep, it works. 2. We decided to skip the breakfast basket as we felt it was a bit expensive - you can have a full service breakfast in restaurants nearby at a cheaper price.

1.폰타델가다 중심에 위치하여있음. 2.아침식사는 2인기준 빵4개, 씨리얼, 쥬스2팩,우유2팩, 과일2개를 넣은 바구니를 방앞에 놓아둠. 커피를 마실거면 공용주방을 사용해야함. 3.엘리베이터가 없어서 계단으로 짐을 옮겨야 하는데 계단이 많고 높음. 4.방음이 되지 않아 밤에는 건물옆으로 지나가는 자동차소리가 아주 크게 들이며, 바닥은 나무라 복도에서 사람 걸어다니는 소리가 잘 들림. 소음에 예민한 경우는 추천하지 않음. 5.호텔에 별도 주차장은 없으나 저녁늦은 시간엔 호텔앞 스트리트 주차 가능함 저녁7시 이후로 무료. 6.새벽1시에 호텔비 결제를 하라며 스탭이 전화하고 방문을 두드림. 여러 호텔을 다녀봤지만 새벽1시에 돈을 내라고 문을 두드리는 경우는 처음. 오싹했음

Lovely place to stay in heart of Ponta Delgado. Excellent value. Loved the common spaces and the room was a bit tight but very comfortable. Great, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Great location in the center of the City, newly updated and very clean, the rooms were modern and comfortable. The down side lots of stairs, No elevator so if stairs are a problem this is not for you.

This was a wonderful property. The high ceilings and grand staircase made it feel like a palace. There is a living room and kitchen available. The best thing about it was the very helpful and friendly staff. It is also very well located for exploring Ponta Delgada. I am certainly likely to return to one of their properties again.

Beautiful and perfectly situated in downtown. So close to my favorite cafe and all of the Best restaurants. Staff went out if their way to accommodate any situation we may have asked for, such as dropping off luggage early, etc. The AC is unique to this hotel, as many don’t have it in their rooms, but it was surely a bonus in the summer. Can’t say enough good things about the whole establishment. The breakfast was gourmet with warm bread and pour over coffee, local milk, cheese and fruit. It was like getting a gift every morning. I look forward to going back. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else, not even the 5 star hotels could lure me over. Authentic, simple, pure bliss.

The hotel is loud, as the lobby and kitchen are right beside the suites.

It was just what was required - clean, comfortable, central and very helpful crew running it.

Quarto com varanda para a rua - Preço desajustado em relação ao nivel geral de conforto. Nivel de ruido demasiado alto no quarto, quer pela má insonorização do exterior ( a porta da varanda não isolava decentemente o som dos carros, conversas no exterior, e música), quer pelo ruido da extração de humidade na casa de banho, que tornava até conversação no quarto dificil ( um problema a resolver, seguramente. As condições na zona comum não são as melhores, havia claramente sub-dimensionamento dos espaços em relação ao numero de hospedes, somente uma mesa de refeiçoes com 4 lugares, insuficientes nos horários que os quisemos utilisar - pequeno almoço e jantar, o frigorifico é manifestamente pequeno para o volume deos utilizadores... O que mais nos desagradou foi a entrada no quarto após a primeira noite: fizeram a cama (que tinhamos deixado arrumada) mudaram roupa nossa de sitio que tinha ficado arrumada, mas nao trocaram toalhas ou sequer limparam o lavatório da casa de banho, esse sim que não deixaramos arrumado...

The property was in the heart of the city and the staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The rooms were unique, clean and modern. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great room, good location

Great place to stay - extremely clean, charming, comfortable and friendly staff. Centrally located to great restaurants and shops. I rented a car and had no problem parking it in the garage around the corner from the hotel - less than $20 for overnight.

We loved the historic character of this hotel with a modern touch. We thought the parking was included in the price so were unhappy to discover that was not true.

We did not stay there, as advertise photo of exterior was not representative, and we were told that it had parking since I had a rental car. First it was hard to find,on a small one way street and it was not yet open in morning, no place to park(even on street) When I went back in afternoon, I asked where parking , and was told the did not have any. The only good news, that a young lady behind the Conforto desk was helpful in arranging a reservation at Azor Hotel (which was great)

Very friendky staff. Clean room. Plenty of hot water and the pressure is good considering we are on the top floor. We did not get the breakfast package but there is a complementary coffee in the common kitchen. The best thing about Azores is the people. Every one is always smiling and very friendly. Im coming back for sure.

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war spitze. Wirklich besonders Stil voll gewählt. Schlicht aber mit schick und moderne. Außerdem gibt es Frühstück, das einem in einem Körbchen morgens vor die Tür gestellt wird. Zudem gab es eine Küche in der man sich selbstständig versorgen konnte. und diese war immer erstaunlich sauber. Und der Ausblick auf den Marktplatz von Ponta Delgada war auch ein wirklich schöner. Alles war unkompliziert und hat einfach Spaß gemacht.

It was a very early check in for me and they provided me with directions to self check in. Room was ready. They made sure to connect with me with email with every need. Clean and shower pressure was great. Very very good location. Garage and restaurants in 2 min walk.

Great location in historic district. Close to food, groceries, and shopping. Breakfast baskets were generous and items changed daily. Hot water in the shower and great pressure. Decent bed and walk out balcony overlooking the street.

visually looks good. Very noisy rooms, you can hear everything happening outside as if you are sleeping on the street. Wifi was down all the time. They don’t clean the rooms nor refill the soap. Bad service

Staff really good on arrival but this deteriorated as the week went on. Kitchen facilities were useful but insufficient fridge space. Tea and coffee facilities needed in bedrooms

Check in and check out was very easy. The staff was easily accessible for questions about the property or the city. The cleaning staff was accommodating to us, since we didn't have our room cleaned for the week we were there, but they were good about giving us fresh towels when we asked. The location was great, with parking right out front in a pinch for a fee, or else in a garage nearby if that wasn't available, and a 6-minute walk from a free lot. We were a 5-minute walk from delicious food at Sabores or Rotas da Ilha Verde. We took the word of some other prior patrons about the beds (we love a hard bed), but the bed was still not hard enough for us, and didn't offer the back support we love. Other than that, the room was large and clean, with awesome heights to the ceilings. It was nice to have a kitchen available, too, and the shower was large and had great water pressure and temperature (the rain head shower was nice). The large windows that opened onto balconies was nice for fresh air and for watching the sunset. The street did stay sorta noisy with drunken fools most of the nights, but only intermittently. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Very friendly staff. Room comfortable and very clean

Week long stay was comfortable and perfect location wise, being the centre of the city. We arrived late at night and were told the entrance code for the hotel and room details over the phone which was smooth. It also wasn't hard to find the hotel as all the cabs are familiar with the residence. We were moved to a different room mid week as the bathroom door became jammed which was annoying. Furthermore, we had our breakfast basket delivered to the wrong door some days and the smell around our new room was not pleasant. Otherwise, we had no complaints, its a very clean and modest place to stay, staff are friendly when approached for questions and the kitchen facilities are useful. However, I can see how some people would find the stairs to be a an impediment as there are a few to go up everyday and there are no lifts, making it a wheelchair unfriendly environment. Would recommend for individuals and small groups wanting to stay close to the centre for a couple of days.

Very Nice place , the best position and super clean hotel !

The location in the town centre is perfect for exploring the city. Just 5 mins taxi from the airport , cost about 5 euro. Almost immaculate decoration inside and simple colours and tasteful. My room was only a few months from having been refurbished so again faultless. All staff I met were helpful , friendly and polite. All the basics were good , excellent shower ,bed , air con and cleanliness. The only issue to be aware of is the road and street noise . This usually stops around 11 pm but Saturday nights can go on a bit ! Minor , very minor points , there is a lounge and kitchen available for guests , which is lovely but can lead to food smells ! Maybe good extractor reqd. The pillows on the bed are poor quality . There is limited street parking and good covered parking maybe 100 metres away which costs about 7 euro per night. Would I stay again , YES.

Stayed a week here. The loveliest staff who were extremely helpful. Wonderful clean room and building. Right in the heart of the city centre. If I was to be at all critical it would be that the shared kitchen idea works for some people but not really for me. I never really felt able to cook in it or put white wine in a communal fridge. I would have preferred a small fridge and kettle in the room. Overall though a fabulous stay and somewhere I would thoroughly recommend. The breakfast in a basket idea was fun as well. Great value accommodation in an amazing part of town.

This is really a nice and comfortable place, in more less the middle of the city center. It’s possible to order breakfast with your stay. We were staying there for one night on our way back to Porto. It was very easy to check in, even for us that got there very late in the evening because of a delayed flight. It’s not the last time we will visit, for sure.
