Reviewed Sep 13, 2026La ubicación era excelente, muy cerca de todo , se podía ir andando al centro y a todas nuestras excursiones. El. personal era amable, la habitación era espaciosa y las camas cómodas.
El hotel estaba bien pero para 4 estrellas no lo veo, ya que algunas de las instalaciones necesitarían una reforma. Con lo que me fui descontenta es con los desayunos , no porque no estuvieran bien, porque eran muy buenos y la persona que hacía los desayunos un encanto, sino porque no tenian desayunos para intolerantes a la leche, yo antes de contratar el hotel les pregunté si tendrían leche sin lactosa y dulces sin lactosa y me dijeron que si, que por supuesto era un buffet para alérgicos e intolerantes y no fue así tuvimos que comprar leche sin lactosa y desayunos para mi hijo y tomárselo en la habitación. La terraza no se podia utilizar si tenías el aire acondicionado puesto ya que el.aparato del.aire estaba en la terraza y soltaba todo el calor, si querías salir al balcón tenias que apagar el aire.

Personal muy atento a cualquier duda y necesidad Habitación espaciosa, mas de lo normal. La ubicación a 5 min de la plaza de Monastiraki y en el barrio del mismo nombre esta genial para descubrir Atenas andando. Hay muchos bares, restaurantes, pubs de todo tipo en la zona. Desayuno muy completo
Lo de la habitación con vistas al muro que dicen en comentarios es cierto pero para mi no fue un problema.

Trevlig frukostbuffé som kan ätas både ute och inne. Personalen var så trevliga och tillgängliga, svarade på frågor och gav bra tips.
Inget vidare tryck i duschen.

The room is spacious and everything was sparkling clean. The beds were super comfy too! The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast is super delicious and served outside for really local feeling. The small balcony in the room to the street is a bonus spot for first morning coffee. Thank you Gaia Athens, you made our short family stay really amazing!

A Athènes on peut tout faire à pied 👍 sinon le métro est 200 m' Petit dej compris bien et très varié en buffet. On peut laisser ses bagages en attendant la chambre où le départ.

Honestly, no complain. If you are willing to walk around , you can have lots of fun. Do not expect a view and do not be scared- to reach there it looks like a ghetto area, but then you realize it is just how old the area is. It was totally safe and great restaurants around.

Het was 38 graden buiten maar in het appartement lekker koel - Goede restaurants op steenworp afstand - Goede prijs en kwaliteitverhouding
- Onderhoud vereist: Stopcontact hing los, vriezervakje van koelkast vol met ijs en daardoor onbruikbaar - Het was wel schoon maar niet perfect schoon. Een haar van een ander en hier en daar zwarte strepen in lakens vind ik vervelend. Dit zijn aandachtspunten. Al met al vond ik het wel een goed verblijf voor een aantal nachten, perfect om Athene te bezoeken.

A limpeza poderia ser melhor, encontramos fios de cabelo de outros hóspedes no quarto e também tinham formigas em alguns lugares.

The breakfast was not very tasty, there could be more variety for the vegetables and cold cuts (they seemed very cheap). The kitchen was very small, with only 3 tables inside and the rest outside (but the open concept was nice). Overall the property looked better in the pictures than it was in reality.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera disponeva di una piccola anticamera con divanetto e piccolo guardaroba a vista con frigobar. Questo spazio aggiuntivo risulta sempre utile per gestire bagagli, indumenti e oggetti personali. L'hotel è in zona centrale e tutte le aree importanti di Atene sono raggiungibili in pochi minuti. Era comunque in una zona tranquilla e la notte non era disturbata da locali adiacenti. Colazione ottima, abbiamo molto apprezzato la disponibilità di prodotti salati, dolci e ingredienti freschi. L'ambiente dove viene servita la colazione è molto carino con uno stile fresco. Gentilissima e discreta la ragazza della reception e gentili anche le signore della colazione. Molto consigliato.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et l'emplacement dans Athènes. Le petit déjeuner est fait maison et de très bonne qualité, la personne qui s'en occupe très sympa. Une machine donne un très bon café pour commencer la journée.

Noisy and directed to beds AC. Either its too hot in room, either needs to listen to noice from AC and getting cold from the wind directed to you from AC.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Small property in great location. Rooms are modern and clean and spacious. We had family room that came with 2 bedrooms one king, one queen. Close to everything you want to do in Athens plus it’s on a quieter street so you don’t get the noise of traffic while trying to sleep.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Hotel veramente bello, non fermatevi all'apparenza della piccolissima hall, la camera al terzo piano era bellissima, di design, ampia, pulitissima, con balcone, letto king size e molto comodo, frigorifero, macchina del caffè Nespresso e vari the, ciabattine e per finire, una bottiglia di vino in omaggio. Anche il bagno era spazioso, con prodotti cortesia in dispenser. La colazione la farete al piano terra, ottima, completa di tutto (4 tipi di uova), dolci e salato e frutta. Alcuni dei tavoli sono fuori all'aperto. Ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità. Lo consiglio sicuramente. Girato l'angolo (nel vero senso della parola), comincia il tratto di vie ricche di tantissimi ristoranti. La piazza Monastiraki è a meno di 10 minuti a piedi, altrettanti per arrivare all'Acropoli. Tutto perfetto.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Located in the very Heart of Athens, Gaia is no doubt an amazing place for those who wish to explore city’s main historical atractions, such as The Acropolis, Monastiraki sqare, Hadrian’s Library, the roman Agora, among others, all within walking distance from the hotel. Other interesting neighbourhoods, such as Plaka, are also easily accessible on foot. Furthermore, Gaia Hotel is right next to AnarGiron Street, one of the trendiest spots in town, teaming with bars, pubs, rooftops and live music that renders the neighbourhood of Psirry as one of the most vibrant and fun to stay at. Gaia’s romos are spacious, some of them even offer a balcony, all equipped with AC, TV, a small fridge and comfortable beds. Rooms are made upon request, not by default, so please remember to ask for room service (there’s a button right next to the door you can press so that they’ll know you want your room done). I have stayed there twice (June 2023 and June 2026), this last time with my father, and was fully satisfied with both their facilities and services, thus, I totally recommend it.
The shower was ok, but it clogged once. No biggy, but it was a bit uncomfortable.

The room had a nasty odor and it felt like there was a lot of moisture. In addition, the windows were looking straight into a wall which was tactically hidden and not mentioned anywhere.
