18 In Town Homestay

The location is great - right in the center, very close to all the main temples and pretty much everything you’d want to see in the Old Town. At the same time, the street itself is very quiet, which is perfect when you want to relax and get some rest after a day of exploring. The place itself is really cozy, and the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. We stayed for only two days, but it felt very homey and comfortable. The breakfast was homemade as well, prepared by the hosts themselves, which was a really nice touch.

If you get a room on the first floor, you might hear some creaking from the floor above when people are walking around. I don’t think it’s much of an issue at night, but if you’re a very light sleeper, it could potentially wake you up. For us, though, it didn’t affect our stay at all. Overall, we enjoyed the place and would happily stay here again!

Ottima Colazione nel giardino soprattutto perché è possibile personalizzarla. Gentilezza della proprietaria che abita in una delle stanze. Apprezzata anche la posizione e la pulizia della stanza e del bagno con riassetto giornaliero.

Piccola pecca è la grandezza del bagno con lavandino minuscolo. Eravamo nella stanza a piano terra e magari non è la migliore, ma ok per qualità prezzo.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön wohnlich eingerichtet. Sehr viel Holz, kreative Beleuchtung und ein Balkon mit Mosquito-Netz-Tür.. Es war alles da, was man gebraucht hat. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und üppig. Das Hotel ist schön im Grünen gelegen. Auf jeden Fall 10 von 10

Nichts! Die Unterkunft kann wenig dafür, dass es viele Mosquitos rund herum im offenen Aufenthaltsbereich.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the hotel facilities were beautiful and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our experience!

Très belle maison moderne avec 4 chambres très joliment aménagées et surtout un lit très confortable . La maison dans un beau jardin se situe dans une petite rue pas tres loin du centre historique ( 5 mn)et de nombreux restaurants et cafés ( Lookbua, Coffee lovers…). Le petit-déjeuner ( rien de fabuleux ) est essentiellement local: riz, nouilles, tofu, fruits et petites spécialités thaïlandaises. Petit bémol et question : pourquoi pour un séjour de 4 nuits la qualité du service n’est elle pas équivalente pour chacune des 4 nuits à savoir pour la dernière nuit toutes les serviettes ne sont pas changées, la couette pas vraiment tirée, toutes les poubelles non vidées? À part ça très belle adresse

Fantastisch mooi gelegen en rustig plekje in het drukke Chiang Mai. Ideaal voor reizigers die zich graag kunnen terugtrekken naar de rust na een dagje in de stad. De host is ontzettend behulpzaam en staat steeds klaar voor je (Mijn vrouw werd ziek en ze ging direct naar de apotheek voor medicijnen te halen voor haar). Zeker een aanrader dus!

La dueña es super amable, el desyuno muy rico, la ubicacion esta muy bien.

Local extremamente agradável, com decoração familiar e intimista, cercado por plantas e árvores num jardim com direito a pássaros e saguis. Nossa anfitriã foi extremamente gentil, sempre atenta aos pedidos e prestativa. Acabamos usando o serviço de lavanderia, o que ajudou a renovar o visual - com o calor em Chiang Mai, a suadeira é inevitável. A excelente localização dentro da cidade velha, permitiu acessar todas as principais atrações à pé. O café da manhã, tipicamente tailandês, variava a cada dia, mas sempre diversificado e nutritivo. Isso sem falar dos alimentos disponíveis na cozinha, para livre uso pelos hóspedes - pão, café, biscoitos, bolachas, snacks..... geladeira, micro-ondas, fogão e cafeteira completavam a estrutura . Água sempre disponivel à vontade, tanto.no quarto como na cozinha. Sem dúvida, uma memorável experiência.

Nao ter tido mais tempo para usufruir da hospitalidade.

房源位於靜巷，晚上完全沒有車子經過的聲音，走到大馬路7-11只要4.5分鐘，算是鬧中取靜的好地方。一樓吃早餐的地方被漂亮花園包圍著，有公共廚房、公共廁所，退房後也能使用，可以寄放行李。需要自助check in可提前告知，主人會提供需要的資訊。房間裡裡外外打掃得非常乾淨，冷氣是大金的，很安靜，床邊單側有插座和主燈控制面板，超方便。衣櫃裡面附了不少衣架，提供吹風機，每天都會簡單清潔房間。入住兩晚提供不一樣的豐盛早餐，好感動早餐竟然有輪替，而且還蠻美味的，供應時間為07:00~10:00，客入座後隨時出餐，不用指定用餐時段超方便，咖啡茶水自助。民宿主人是一對溫和的夫妻，對待客人非常細膩友善，也完全不會打擾私人時光；房間陳設雅緻充滿品味，Booking提供免費取消訂房政策，寬容度超高，不怕航班改來改去。

花園蚊子偏多，但房間完全沒有蟲蟲危機，房間很棒！

The room was large and spacious, the bed soft and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight - a great spread with main dish, fruit, and dessert plus a beverage corner for coffee/tea. The location was good - in a quiet neighborhood a little behind the main street, walking distance to a lot of sights in the old city. There were umbrellas for loan and Nai was very helpful in arranging to book a tour. Would definitely stay again!

The shower could get clogged, it would probably benefit from daily cleaning of the drain. A lot of mosquitoes in the morning, but that is common as the breakfast area is located next to the garden with a lot of plants - might want to bring mosquito repellent.

Felt like I was welcomed into someones home and not a hotel! Was only there one night but that’s all i needed, to know that whenever I come back to Chiang Mai, I’m staying here. Very clean, privacy is respected, breakfast was good and the hospitality was amazing.

We had a lovely stay here. It was clean, welcoming, good facilities with snacks and breakfast food provided, as well as a coffee machine and tea. The location was great, less than 10 minutes to everywhere we wanted to see! It felt like a really authentic experience, with a lovely garden too.

This beautiful guesthouse has 4 rooms that have nicely sized rooms and well appointed bathrooms. Everything is well designed and impeccably clean. The host couple and their friendly and attentive staff member, Mot, are delightful. Breakfast is prepared for each guest and is delicious. My friend and I stayed there before and after our week volunteering at Elephant Nature Park. We were so glad to return to our “home away from home” in Chiang Mai! We got our laundry done for a nominal charge and Mot even cleaned all of the mud off of my shoes! They provide bottles of water, a refrigerator in the upstairs common area, and snacks. The hospitality is absolutely amazing and you will be well taken care of. The location is very walkable to all of the major sites and just minutes from a wonderful bakery and restaurants. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Das Homestay ist ein super gemütliches Fleckchen in Chiang Mai in toller Lage - direkt fußläufig für vieles in der Old City. Die Einrichtung und der Garten sind sehr schön und unser Zimmer hat sehr einladend gewirkt. Die Gastgeberin ist eine sehr nette und bemühte Dame, die uns bei sämtlichen Angelegenheiten geholfen hat. Der Wäscheservice hat super funktioniert und man konnte einfach über Booking mit der Gastgeberin kommunizieren. Es war schön, dass immer kaltes Wasser im Kühlschrank war und man zwischendurch auch Kleinigkeiten in der Küche machen konnte. Selbstgemachte Speisen zum Frühstück im schönen Garten.

Leider hat die Unterkunft dennoch unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Wir haben uns im Zimmer nicht wohlgefühlt aus folgenden Gründen: Die Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert - wir waren in sämtlichen Orten in Thailand und Südostasien und stellen die AC normalerweise auf 25°C - hier haben wir sie auf das Minimum von 18°C gestellt und dennoch ist mir ein Meter weiter am Waschbecken der Schweiß hinunter gelaufen :( Die Gastgeberin hat zwar einen Techniker geholt, aber das Problem wurde nicht gelöst. Zum Schlafen leider eine Katastrophe. Uns wurde dann noch eine mobile AC angeboten, aber bei der Masse an Mücken draußen hätten wir das nicht in Kauf nehmen wollen, da ein Fenster für den Schlauch zu öffnen und auch die Lautstärke hat uns abgeschreckt. Dann war die Wand zum Bad durchsichtig, aber nicht wie bei modernen Bädern "nur" die Dusche - nein, man sieht im Zweifel seinen Reisepartner komplett hautnah auf der Toilette sitzen, da die Toilette an dieser Wand ist. Einfach nur unangenehm. Das Waschbecken war dann außen - zunächst kein Problem, aber leider mit keinem richtigen Spiegel und genug Platz. Es gab nur einen wackeligen Mini Schminkspiegel, der aber nichts gebracht hat. Und insgesamt war einfach zu wenig Platz und Stauraum. Es gab auch keine Nachttisch am Bett. Wie viele Bewertungen anmerken, ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten aber Glück und es gab kaum laute Nachbarn. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind sehr warm, da den ganzen Tag die Türen offen sind. Frühstück war zwar total liebevoll selbstgemacht - nur leider nicht ganz angepasst an Touristen, die vielleicht nicht (nur) warme Thai Speisen am Morgen wollen. Wir konnten aber aufgrund von Touren auch nur einmal frühstücken, daher nicht so schlimm.

This is a very clean, peaceful, and green homestay surrounded by beautiful plants and nature. I came here with my mother for our trip, and she was extremely satisfied with our stay. She even said it truly felt like staying at home. The hosts live right next door to the homestay, so whenever we needed help or had any requests, it was very easy to find someone to assist us. We stayed in the downstairs room next to the kitchen. I had previously read some reviews mentioning that the soundproofing was not very good and that footsteps could sometimes be heard. However, during our seven-night stay, all the other guests were very considerate and respectful, so we never experienced any noise issues at all. The room was not large, but it felt warm and cozy. The TV included YouTube and Netflix, which was great for relaxing. Housekeeping changed the bed sheets every three days, and every day they came to empty the trash, replenish towels, and provide bottled water. The shower water temperature was adjustable, so we could always enjoy a nice hot shower, and the water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was served in a lush garden filled with greenery and plants. The breakfast was incredibly generous and filling every day. The main breakfast dishes were mostly rice and noodle dishes, and we got to try delicious fried rice, the famous Thai stir-fried noodles Pad Thai, and the Northern Thai noodle dish Khao Soi. The taste was just as good as food from restaurants outside. There were also fruits, yogurt, desserts, and many other items prepared every day. In addition, the kitchen always had instant noodles, toast, jam, coffee, tea, and various snacks available, and there was milk in the refrigerator as well. Everything was very thoughtfully prepared. On some days, we joined tours and had to leave very early, so we could not eat breakfast at the homestay.

The mattress had a comfortable balance of softness and firmness, but the pillows were too soft and did not provide enough support for the neck.

La familia y el personal del hotel es muy amable, ayudan en todo a los huéspedes. El desayuno es buenísimo, super rico y variado. Las instalaciones están ubicadas en una zona muy tranquila de la ciudad pero muy cerca de todo. Super recomendable Nos ayudaron a reservar nuestros tours.

This small home stay is delightful. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here.

We love everything, there are really quiet, green garden, slow life, greatest host, bed is perfect soft, location is perfect we can just walk around at night for dinner, breakfast was local Thai food and we love it. Although located within the city, it's tucked away in a quiet alleyway, making for a very peaceful and comfortable environment. 🙂🙂 It's also incredibly convenient, offering easy access to everywhere. The host speaks fluent English and is friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent. I absolutely loved it here. 😍😍😍 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chiang Mai, as long as you book early. 🙂🙂🙂 The only downside is that there are only four rooms, so they fill up very easily 🤣🤣

El hotel es pequeño y está bien decorado, pero el Riad en el que alojamos no tenía ni una sola ventana en ninguna de las tres habitaciones lo cual desmejoraba bastante la estancia. De haberlo sabido no hubiéramos reservado. Esa información debería constar de forma clara en su publicidad.

La forma de gestionar el incidente con nuestras tres habitaciones sin ventanas fue pésima por parte del gerente. El día de nuestro checkout no solo no dio explicación alguna, sino que se ocultó en su despacho. Tampoco hemos tenido respuesta por parte de Booking. Tuvimos que permanecer en el hotel para no perder el dinero de la totalidad de la reserva. Los precios del restaurante son muy caros.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cet établissement: l'accueil chaleureux de la proprio, l'atmosphère zen ambiante, la gentillesse des hôtes, l'excellent petit déjeuner, le calme, la propreté des lieux, la salle de bain récente et l'emplacement idéal dans cette ville fascinante. Nous y reviendrons.

La vue de la chambre peu attrayante, l'impossibilité de vérouiller la porte-patio et le manque d'un coffret de sureté.
