Bedroom had cobwebs hanging from ceiling and had to kill 2 mosquitos, felt was overpriced.

The room looked tired and hadn't been cleaned properly. Such a shame!

Only 3 hours allocated for time in the SPA. I think this is really poor and that for guests staying paying the amount of money we did, you should have access to the spa throughout your stay.

The service throughout was outstanding and the food and drinks, whilst on the expensive side, were executed and served to a high standard

The bed was 2 singles joined which gave a dip in the middle so not a great nights sleep

Really welcoming team , all happy, cheerful and helpful ….. which in my experience was quite exceptional. Dining experience was top quality . Room was way above my expectations. Just a great place to stay for a few nights whilst going to the golf at Birkdale . Lovely terrace to sit on and have a glass of Rose . Ambience was delightful .

Warm and cool in the right places, rooms warm and welcoming as were all staff, who went out of their way to help. Beds were soo comfortable we both slept really well.

There was nothing to fault the property, but we did feel that the food in the orangery was rather expensive. Although there was a £35 allocation for the evening meal, this fell very short of the cost of the meal, it really only covered the main course, so a starter, desert and drinks really added up, and there was no choice but to add expense to the bill.

The location and staff were very helpful. Good breakfast nice coffee machine in the room.

Sink in the bathroom had quite a few chips in it. Also mirror bathroom didn’t work. Shower tray very slippery.

I really liked the whole spa experience, including an evening meal and breakfast. It just made the day seem like a full experience rather than just a spa. The hotel was lovely, the facilities were excellent and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

The air conditioning in the rooms needs to be turned down by the concierge, not something that you can control manually yourself, which is a shame

The staff were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast in The Orangery was superb.

Loved our corner suite with balcony. Comfortable bed. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Bath was tiny in our bathroom, I love to have a long soak in bubbles. Couldn't stretch out and I'm 5ft 3inch. Only there for 1 night, so not a problem. Some of the jets in the Hydro pool not working, I remembered it being the same 13 months ago when I lasted visited. Really important to have all areas functional as it gets busy.

Too expensive considering the hotel is not in a city, or in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The spa was £62 Room £200 per night with booking .com discount. Still should be lower priced.

Actually it's booking .com that didn't fully inform me of the package. We hadn't realized that we were booked in the spa on the 1st afternoon. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Would like a later spa hour on check out day! However I understand the reasons.

I love the relaxing atmosphere,it was just what I needed. All the staff both in the hotel and spa were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I also had some lovely treatments and want to say Erin did a facial that was just heavenly.

I feel the prices of the food is a little high but it is delicious so not really a dislike

Hotel was lovely. Room was nice size with your poster bed. Unfortunately didn’t use the Spa facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Was not many products in the room for a Spa Hotel. No product dispensers In Shower. No shower cap or bathroom amenities. No robe or slippers in the room.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were polite, it was our 40th wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty

Absolutely amazing stay! My first time visiting and already looking to book to come back. Service was amazing and spa was unreal, super clean and all staff were super helpful too. Super spacious rooms, food was 10/10. Over all super satisfied with my stay, couldn’t recommend enough.

Our room was freezing cold, asked 3 times for the heating to be turned up. Eventually 2 heaters were brought to us to plug in in the lounge and bedroom .

We had the most amazing day the staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. The rooms were absolutely amazing and the treatments were absolutely brilliant. Will be definitely staying here again.

The facilities were great.

I just didn't like how we were only set certain times for our sessions. It felt a little rushed when we got there, as we could only check in at 2pm and the spar was 2-4pm, The Room only had a view of the roof.
