Bale Solah is a beautiful boutique hotel with bespoke furnishings from the pool loungers and umbrellas to the light fittings. Our room was airy, light and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling. The service is impeccable from dawn to dusk and the pool and property is surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

Un peu trop à l'écart du centre ville. Réfrigérateur non nettoyé à notre arrivée.

Alles. Sehr sehr freundliches Personal. Wunderbares Frühstück und schöne, saubere Zimmer. Es fehlt einem an nichts! Danke für den erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qui était toujours souriant et au petit soin avec nous. Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec soin et beaucoup d'attention par Wati. C'est un vrai délice.

La localisation est un peu isolée mais cela est compensé par la mise à disposition d'une navette gratuite pour rejoindre le Beach club de l'hôtel ou la location de scooter.

Tout ! Je recommande tout !! Personnel, accueillant, sérieux, réactif, sympathique. Chambre très propre , moderne, piscine, piscine, propre et transat aussi c’est simple, il y a rien à redire Le petit déjeuner est digne d’un cinq étoiles

We really liked the hotel room, everything was clean and comfortable

It was really loud in the room because of the road next to the hotel. If you want a quiet atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

De service is buitengewoon. Ze hebben zo goed als alle diensten in huis dus wordt alles geregeld door het hotel. (Beach club, steakhouse, fitness…) Wij hebben alvast verlengd! Geweldige ervaring.

He also offended Indonesia calling it 'third world country' as well as our country as a poorer one than the one of his origin, which was arrogant and clearly unacceptable. We were shocked with such behaviour. The hotel is located by a very busy road, it was very noisy in our room so we asked for a change of the room, which turned out to be a problem for the place owner. A swimming pool and the reception desk are just next to the busy and noisy road. There is no proper and elegant reception desk or lobby - it looks like a shed with one desk. No 24-hour reception service. The breakfast is not a buffet with a variety of products and dishes but instead, we had to choose our option from a limited set menu. What's more, we had to make the decision one day before and set the exact time. We booked the place for 2 nights but decided to leave it just after 1 night. Generally, calling this place a 5-star hotel is a big joke.

Super Zimmer direkt am Pool, tolle Betten, großes Bad und sehr freundlicher Service.

Das Personal war immer sehr bemüht und der Shuttle Service war super. Man konnte sich jederzeit zum Beach Club fahren lassen den man kostenlos mitnutzen durfte. Die Eigentümerin hat sich stehts um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und war immer für einen netten Plausch zu haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Wati aus dem Frühstücksservice, sie war sehr bemüht.

Ein wohl bekanntes Problem sind die Flecken auf der Bettwäsche wie überall in Indonesien.

I loved the communal areas and the pool. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The food was really great as well.

This place is very quiet and calm. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun and swimming pool it's a perfect place for that. The staff is really nice and the food is excellent. They also have laundry and scooter rental service.

I was disturb many times per day to ask me if I wanted a drink or to eat dinner or my order for breakfast. I would prefer to ask myself if I want some food or if I have a question.

The staff were amazing! The resort was beautiful and relaxing. There was a driver who would take you to some other restaurants which was super handy.

Everything was superb at the Bale Solah, incredibly helpful and amazing staff, impeccable service, luxurious rooms, cooking classes, a wide choice of food. All the activities they had was very good plus there beach club was very good. Tastefully done, very well kept, we had a good time, coming back next year Many thanks

Clean room and bed

Rude staff at check-in, very noisy environment (road crossing ++, mosque, school), water was yellow-ish and bathroom smelled damp. Had to change room because the first room had a locked balcony and dirty mirrors. Second room had humidity issues and bathroom sink was unusable.

The bed in the room was really comfortable and there is a lovely shower with hot water

The selection of food for dinner isn’t great

Outstanding place to enjoy beautiful Lombok! Me and my family (two kids, 10 & 13, plus husband) liked everything about this place. Stunning house, nicely decorated, the suite next to the pool was amazing (thanks again for the upgrade!) Appreciated the little details like the exquisite Body Lotion (eco friendly dispenser), towels with fragrance as much as the extremely comfortable bed. We enjoyed the marvellous pool with a view as if it was our private pool… Yes, you can hear the motorcycles, but this is life in South East Asia. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. We learned, that the owners are providing English lessons for them which is wonderful. Great delicious breakfast, we tried every variety. And then it comes with Café Latte or Iced Café Latte! We also spent a very nice last evening with Sandra and Wim who shared some of their experiences starting a Hotel Business in Indonesia: Thank you for the interesting insights and your good company!

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Clean, comfortable, and great pools. The staff are amazing and wanted to make sure everything was excellent. You must stay here. After 3 weeks travelling Bali and Lombok the food served here is the highest quality and the very best service. They have a fantastic beach club and we shuttle you both ways for free and close buy is their steak restaurant.We strongly recommend stay here for a great comfortable experience. Thank you everyone for the best time.

Some rooms may experience some scooter traffic noise but not enough to disturb your sleep. Other rooms are available towards the rear of the property.

Beautiful hotel with incredibly sweet staff and an excellent breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend it. As other reviews have mentioned, the location isn’t close to major attractions, but it makes it also very tranquil and relaxing. The hotel offer a free shuttle to their beach club in Senggigi and motorbike rentals for 150k per day. Grab is also readily available. We used their laundry service, which was very good and cost 27k per kg.

The breakfast was good and the staff was really welcoming. The room was very clean and the pool was just in front of the room.

We had a king suite room, which was very close to the road. You really hear the cars and motorcycles even during the night. As a suggestion they should do something to minimize the noise like double glazing.

The garden and pool is beautiful

Claiming five stars for this place is borderline false marketing.

The room was modern, above standard - nice property at all.

The food (breakfast and the Italian) can definitely be improved (no taste at all) - no room cleaning.

A canopy would be useful for the restaurant as it got uncomfortable when the sun started shining directly on us when having lunch. The garden view room gets very bright at 5am, it might be worth considering curtains rather than blinds?

The location is outstanding! You are in the city but in a quiet area facing the rice fields. Staff makes you feel home and they are really attentive and with good manners. They offer tours with a great driver so you really don’t need to think about anything except to relax. The rooms facing the swimming pool are the best ones. Breakfast and food exceptional!!

Everything was amazing. Possibly tours are a bit pricey and I tried several times to get a massage without succeeding. Although, the driver was really nice and helpful offering me the option to reach closer facilities if wished.

Nothing not to like

Super nice stay with great atmosphere and lovely pools. Very welcoming stuff: got a welcome drink and cold refreshing towels upon check-in. They are very helpful with whatever question you have. Got an extremly big help with my car rental even. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

This hotel has the friendliest and most gracious staff I have ever encountered. From the welcome drink to the express laundry service, everything was extremely good. The entire complex and pools are very clean and inviting. The view of the mountains is fantastic. My visit ended with a super delicious Indonesian breakfast. If you have more time, you should probably take the cooking course.

Only the loud street to the front was a little annoying.

Beautifully designed property, rooms and pool. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They offer a free shuttle to their beach club at senggigi beach, a great place to hang out! The breakfast was by far the best we had during 4 weeks in Indonesia:)

It’s not very close to anything

The room is really beautiful and the shower has a glass window in the ceiling which is just super pretty. Everything super clean, staff friendly. Recommend to do the cooking class as that’s a fun experience. Location is a bit off- so scooter or taxi needed.

Room is located in the direction of the street.

The whole resort was like staying in paradise. It is a perfect bubble that has everything you need. You don't have to leave the place at all. The room is spacious, the bed is huge and comfortable, the service is extraordinary, the personnel are highly professional and kind, and the food is delicious. The pool and surrounding area is marvelous. All compliments to this beautiful place and its diligent staff.

Internet was not working all the time

Bale solah was such a beautiful place to stay The room and bed was very comfortable The staff are so lovely and attentive The food at every meal was such good quality and very reasonably priced The fitness room is small but has enough space and a few bits of equipment to get a workout in The pool and loungers are lovely Although you are a little out the way, there is a free shuttle down and back to Senggigi which made it great Smart tv in the room Good AC Although close to a mosque you don't hear it at night

We were here in off season so Senggigi itself was a bit dead - but this is not the fault of the hotel The fitness room could have a few more dumbells There were a few random power cuts throughout the day time. (they are extending so not sure if this was due to work going on at the time - you don't hear any noise from builders though)

We liked everything! Location maybe a little put of the way for some, but great for an authentic experience of local life from a very comfortable resort. Flat with only a few very low single steps so should be accessible for everyone.
