Villa Rumah Putih Abu Abu

We had a family room which was really clean and quite spacious, although my kids found the trundle beds uncomfortable so we put their mattresses on the ground. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. The kids loved the little dog, although I didn’t love it much as when we arrived it followed us to our room and urinated right outside our door! The pool was great and we never had any trouble with getting a sun lounger. The breakfast was excellent, the pancakes were especially delicious and it was a generous size. The ability to wash our clothes in the guest laundry was great.

We had confirmed prior to arrival that we would be picked up from the airport but unfortunately no one was there to pick us up. We were able to arrange our own transport but it was not a nice start to our holiday in Lombok, especially with the children in tow. We had also agreed to rent a car but were not able to rent a car, only scooters which was fine. So perhaps communication is an issue. We found it a little odd that our beds were made every day but our towels were never changed even though we left them on the floor, and our dirty dishes weren’t cleaned/replaced. This may be peculiar to Lombok as the place we stayed in Tetebatu after this stay was the same. We were there for 5 nights so replacement of towels and cups in the room would have been appreciated, but apart from these things we found it a very pleasant stay. Guests should know that the property is around 15 minutes drive from Senggigi, and there is not really anything for tourists close by. The beach is within walking distance but is quite dirty and the line of warungs lining this area of the beach are quite rustic.

Hvis man er sensitiv ligesom mig, så var der virkelig meget larm fra en hane og flere mosker meget tidligt om morgenen. Personalet røg virkelig meget, så lugten af røg var virkelig træls. Servietter var beskidte, bordene blev ikke tørret af og der var bare generelt beskidt

De indeling van de accommodatie: alle kamers liggen rond het zwembad. De kamers zelf zijn ruim, comfortabel en schoon. Lekker ontbijt gehad. We zijn warm onthaald door gastheer en personeel.

Très belle établissement, très bien pensé avec une belle piscine et un espace bar ou l’on peut jouer au billard. Les chambres sont très spacieuoet les lits canapé sont plutôt de vrais lits ( lit tiroir)

The adjacent villa had a large group staying there that partied late into night. The staff at our villa were quick to give us a different room where we couldn't hear the late night festivities. Very kind.

The concept of a family house are real

Truly everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was by far the best I've had at any homestay, with fresh and tasty options. The eggs, Nasi Goreng and pancakes were all equally delicious and made it difficult to decide each day. The staff is so kind and helpful. They were able to arrange a motorbike for me and have it at the front door within minutes. They also offer free laundry for guests and drying racks are available outside each room. There are plenty of seating areas for evening drinks and games, and the pool is lovely. The whole vibe is very tranquil. I was sad to leave this place at the end of our 10 days.

- Die Lage. (Was macht man in dieser Gegend?) Die umliegenden Strände sind nicht schön und es gibt so gut wie keine Restaurants. Für einen Zwischenstopp okay. - Das Frühstück war okay, aber jetzt auch nicht der Wahnsinn.

From the moment we arrived we liked the welcoming staff there and the nice swimming pool in the middle of the villa yard. The staff was very friendly and very polite and always ready to help. The rooms were very nice and the bed very big and comfort. It was nice that we could even dive in the pool late at night for a refreshing swim and throwing the balls in the basket above the swimming pool. Also the owner John welcomed us with warm feelings and we felt great about the good contact we had with him and the staff. We liked the dog, he had a very complicated name, hahahah so we called him Harry, hahaah We took many pictures and we had a lovely holiday. The beaches on Lombok are very nice and the Wildlife park is great. Also the snorkling on Gille Islands our daughter liked very much.

When I booked the villa, it said in the description the villa was located 500 meters from the beach, which was true, but the real areas of good beaches, restaurants, sightseeing things were a bit of distance from the villa, as we always needed to call a private driver to have a day out. Also, at first we had the impression that the breakfast menu was restricted, as not much choice, which felt a bit disappointing, but after mentioning this with the owner John, he said happily we could have anything we wanted. Maybe a form of miscommunication or mention this on the breakfast menu, so we were aware of this from the first day. Also, the airconditioning in the room did not work properly, but I do not like to feel that coldness on my sweating body as flue comes very fast in this case. The airconditioning was directly pointing at the bed. A bit of discomfort was the many mosques in the area, all active at the same time sometimes and all you hear is the muslim prayer from all directions.

Notre réservation a été perdue donc nous n’avons pas eu la chambre que nous voulions. Nous avons remis nos vêtements au personnel pour la lessive et ils nous ont été remis totalement décolorés. Je ne sais pas quel type de machine à laver décape les vêtements de la sorte, ils sont bon à jeter à la poubelle. Nous étions en train de galérer avec nos valises dans les escaliers et le personnel s’est contenté de nous regarder sans proposer la moindre aide.

Gentillesse du personnel : ils sont aux petits soins pour tout le monde (même pour le propriétaire…. Il laisse tout traîner et c’est eux qui range) Chambre propre La piscine Bon rapport qualité prix : si vous ne souhaitez pas mettre cher et que vous passez pas vos journées à la villa (mais si vous voulez tranquillité et repos ne venez pas ici…)

Énormément de bruit (mosquée, villa voisine qui fait des soirées karaoké tous les soirs et nuit) Le propriétaire : il pense bcp à lui, il met ses vidéos très fort le matin au petit dej et fume alors que vous mangez à 1m de lui. On a l’impression de le déranger chez lui… alors que nous payons nos nuits… L’emplacement : rien à faire à proximité

Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und super lecker. Das obere Zimmer war recht einfach aber gut gehalten, sehr kleines Bad. In dem unterem Zimmer gab es ein relativ großes Outdoor- Bad welches sehr schön ist. Vorort haben wir Motorräder ausgeliehen. Haben dort auch gewaschen und haben damit eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht. Das Personal war super.

In dem unterem Zimmer hat es stark gemüffelt, es gab auch Duftspray aber dies hat nicht so gut funktioniert.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa à Senggigi. La localisation est idéale, tout est accessible facilement sans forcément avoir besoin d’un scooter. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. La villa est belle, spacieuse, bien équipée avec une télévision connectée, et la piscine ouverte 24h/24 est un vrai plus. Tout était parfait, nous recommandons vivement !

La grande gentillesse du propriétaire et du personnel présent, les chambres très belles et bien équipées, la belle piscine, le calme. L’hôtel n’est pas loin en voiture des plages et des commerces. Encore merci pour ce super séjour.

Zeer schone en comfortabele kamers. Klantvriendelijke personeel en hielpen je graag verder. Ontbijt was ook zeker goed voor de prijs wat je betaald. Zou ze zeker aanraden!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A special shout-out to their super cute dog, bayclin, who was a huge hit with our kids and added so much joy to our trip. After long days exploring Lombok, coming back to this place truly felt like coming home. It's comfortable, inviting, and exactly what we needed.

We stayed a month (yes a month), solo with 2 young kids I was worried about safety and how I'll survive but the staff were very supportive and soon we felt like we were part of a community. The facilities are great. I enjoyed the convenience of having the washing machine to use when we needed. The breakfast was handy to.have as it was 1 less thing to worry about with the children. Location wise it was great. Senggigi beach was not far, the huge mall was also convenient. We enjoyed the stay so much that the kids cried when it was time to leave

John & his crew were very friendly and made us feel at home. The suite was very clean and it was nice to have a family room. The pool and common area were very nice and relaxing with lots of beautiful plants. They had a good variety for breakfast. The kids especially loved the Dutch poffertjes which came with a variety of different toppings!!

Didn’t want to leave

I had a great stay at this villa not far from Senggigi Area. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a peaceful vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also met some lovely people, which added to the experience. I appreciated having access to a laundry room — even though the detergent provided wasn’t great, a fellow guest (who had impressive knowledge about detergents and enzymes!) kindly shared some of hers with me. Breakfast was tasty and a nice start to the day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

i spent a week in the John's family house - and it was amazing. i miss delicious breakfasts, the dog and the guys who work there. everyone was incredibly kind, attentive and warm to me. btw: the washing machine! I want to say huuuuuuge thanks for it - after long traveling around asia - i was so happy to see & use it :) next time I will return in this wonderful house full of warm and care) thank you, guys, very much!

Very nice Villa with everything you need. Very good breakfast and you can order more till you're not hungry anymore. John is very kind and likes to chat. Very clean and modern rooms. Lots of good cheap restaurants around, but during Ramadan they're closed on daytime.

A lot of mosques around so really noisy at night. The AC was working but on a low level. (R3) Was alright to sleep, but sometimes to warm if you need a little cool down. The toilet seat could be changed.

The location is a little hidden but still easy to find using maps. Not really sure about the blanket situation as we had only thin blankets. But this is just me being nitpicky, it was a very lovely stay and I would be more than happy to come back in the future!

Close to town, restaurants and marts. This villa suits our family of 12, pool table, dart board, a very inviting pool in the middle, washing machine, and of course breakfast. The bbq we requested and superbly prepared by Ibu Juli and her colleagues, was sumptuos and a great end for our 7 nights stay. John, the owner and his staff were great. The villa was our home away from home.

The hotel in general was spectacular. The pool is very top to relax after a long day. They treated us great and were very attentive to us at all times. In addition, they helped us to manage the return trip so that we had no problems. I would definitely come back. John, the owner, is very attentive and always taking care of every detail along with his team working there.

I liked the spacious room, although it was very dark. Beds were good.

The shower did not work, when I arrived, but they fixed it. The safetybox did not work as well. I know its a homestay, and it also said on the booking that they had a dog, which is fine. Its just not fine, that the dog follows you everywhere, jumps on you and barks.

The property entrance itself is so cute and well maintained with a nice structure. Room is big enough and bathroom is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was welcome drink provided which wasn’t mentioned. Room has cozy lights and the AC works really well. The mini fridge and space to keep luggage is perfect. The cloth stand outside the room is definitely helpful. Pool is clean and the surroundings of room is very cute. We loved the space how it is built. This property is little far from the beach but with the grab and renting a scooter it’s very convenient to communicate. The breakfast served here was the best during our entire 10 days trip accross lombok and gilis. The pancakes and english breakfast were so filling. There were so many varieties of jams to eat the pancakes with! The place is true value for money and easily and comfortably one can spend many days here relaxing. There is laundry service if one needs. Not sure if they had any restaurant service here but we went to a home which served delicious seafood (found them from google called new warung amalia) must try if you stay here as they only serve dinner for a very good price and amazing taste.

The room wasn’t ready even after we told them what time we would come and even mentioned it 1 hour prior. But that was ok we were quite tired of traveling during the mid day under hot sun. Must be low on staff just saying so that they keep the rooms ready to check in when guests arrive. Nothing else that we didn’t like here.

Swimming pool was excellent, breakfast was good too, the room was big, clean and super comfortable. Staff were excellent, helped us to sort out taxis when needed, laundry service and renting the scooter directly from the hotel was very handy. Most of all we loved playing with Benklin, the cutest puppy ❤️

Transport to and from the main port of Sengiggi. It's a 3 km drive and some days taxis a bit thin on the ground. However I did eventually download gogek app for easier transport, which was cheap as well. So initially it was my mistake

I stayed with my wife for 3 nights and it was a really nice experience. Really clean and chill vibes. The people working there were really nice and attentive. Amazing breakfast and the owner is also a really welcoming and great person. It shows that he cares about the place.

Room was dirty, looked clean untill you looked closer. Dust and hair everywhere. Didn’t smell fresh at all. You had a citrusspray in the room. Host and staff just sit around. You can hear people caughing, watching shows on tablet etc

Such a nice place to stay at. The breakfast is beyond amazing! The swimming pool is under construction now but you can use the pool next door, so it’s not a problem. Wi-fi works really well around the property but does not reach some bedrooms or has a very low signal ( was not a problem for us as we used our phone data)

Amazing villa, very beautiful, rooms big and with an incredible outdoor bathroom. Bed was comfortable, nice breakfast and people that work there are the best, they helped with scooter renting and served nice and big breakfast.

Location is not the best, a bit far. If you rent scooter not too bad.
