Perfect location. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Communication was super helpful from Cristina and it was great to chat to her in person 🥰

Living room is huge and very relaxing facing small street with big balcony. Kitchen is also big.

Not much. If you are staying more than 3 people, you need extra bed. The couch is not sleep over couch.

La ubicación. Se aparca gratuitamente muy cerca del alojamiento. El check in fue muy facil y la host costestaba rápido y nos recibió a nuestra llegada. La habitación para dos personas está bien, el colchón es muy cómo. Justo en frente hay una buena pastelería para desayunar.

Eramos 3 adultos y la cama supletoria era un poco pequeña para un adulto. El aire acondicionado en un momento de la noche soltó una especie de ceniza sobre la cama supletoria ensuciandola. La ducha era difícil de regular y salia principalmente agua muy caliente. El wifi no funcionaba bien. Para los cafeteros, no contaba con cafetera. Para llegar a la habitación no había ascensor y solo unas escaleras empinadas.

Me gustó todo la ubicación era perfecta,la habitación súper fresca y en la planta de arriba cocina para un café de por la mñna antes de partir la dueña súper amable

The location was excellent and we enjoyed having the fresh air with all of the windows open and no need for A/C. Very modern decor with most everything we needed.

We would have liked some napkins and/or some paper towels in the unit.

Wonderful location

The property is in a great location, right in the historic centre, and close to the river, the famous Roman bridge and restaurants/cafes. It is quiet at night, even though it’s central. The host met us and showed us to the apartment and provided suggestions for dining. There is free parking a short walk from the apartment.

The apartment is quite compact, especially the bathroom, which is fine for a short stay. The bed was very firm - but that’s personal taste. There is no kettle or refrigerator in the room.

Stay here of you’re on the Camino! It’s cozy and comfortable with a great kitchen and laundry. The store they have sells great souvenirs. The host was very helpful. The location is great.

Lovely big room! With comfy bed and pillows, AC, TV, nice shower and a washing machine for use for free! There's a full kitchen to use. It's only 2min off Camino. Staff was very nice.

Absolutely nothing

On the Camino Portuguese way! This was our first two nights that we spent in Portugal before we started the Camino Portugues and after we traveled for 24 hours. It was easy to find, close by to everything, located in such a lovely atmosphere and environment. We just stepped out of our door and were able to get food, pastries, coffee and beer. The place was incredibly clean and the beds slept like a dream. The aircon kept the room nice in cold during 36°C days. The host was so lovely and accommodating. There is a fully functional kitchen and they leave you more than enough selection of hot beverages to choose from. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!😁

Christina met us at Casa da Travessa when we arrived early and generously helped us with our bags, provided invaluable information, and allowed us an early check-in. She was an absolute delight, and we are so happy that we met her. The room was spacious, had access to a kitchen with coffee and tea, and, as promised, offered a wonderful view of the plaza below us. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and we were close to restaurants, shopping, and the Camino de Santiago. I highly recommend Casa da Travessa (and the wonderful Christina)!

The property is beautiful, comfortable and in a fabulous location. We love to Ponte de Lima so much and one reason is because of Cristina and her beautiful property. If we come back we are staying there!

The only minor point I can think of is that while it was great to be able to wash my clothes, the drying rack was a little small.

Amazing place to stay! My friend and I didn't use the kitchen, but it has everything you need to make a meal. The washing machine worked well, and racks are provided for drying. The location is excellent, and I had no issues finding it based on the photos. The hostess messaged me to ask for an approximate arrival time, so she would be there. She was very hospitable and showed us around the hotel. I would recommend asking for dinner suggestions!

I loved my stay at Casa da Travessa! The hotel staff were very friendly, greeted me and showed me to my room, and even walked me up the street to show me an interesting community event going on. The decor of the hotel and rooms is so cute, in a traditional Portuguese style. My room was very spacious and bright, with wall to wall windows and a balcony. The shower was amazing! I really appreciated the laundry facilities upstairs, and the full kitchen. The location is ideal, right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything. I will definitely stay here again!

The kitchen and the laundry were such unexpected bonuses! This house has a fantastic location—even though it is right in the heart of the city, it remains quiet enough for a good rest. The owner is lovely, and I found our chats very inspiring.

Localização, conforto, excelente apartamento para iniciar o Caminho de Santiago, 3 adultos, 3 camas individuais, com bom gosto decoração, limpeza muito boa, simpatia funcionaria.

Conveniently located just off the Camino but in the middle of everything. I arrived early and was able to get in immediately.

I thought the washing machine would be in unit, it wasn’t, but it was on the same floor next to the kitchen in a shared space. Luckily, I was the only one that used it while there so not a problem. Just be aware you’re experience could be different during busy season. I was able to take a drying rack to the unit. I opened the windows and let my clothes dry while I explored.

Super schöne kleine Pension in idealer Lage nah am Fluss und am Camino. Es gibt eine sehr saubere Küche für die Gäste und auch die Waschmaschine kann kostenfrei genutzt werden. Zwei sehr nette Schwestern sind die Besitzerinnen.

Lediglich die Matratze fand ich etwas hart/fest aber das ist vielleicht Geschmacksache.
