Location was perfect. I found the staff all very helpful and courteous.

Price was to me high for a small room. Then extra for Breakfast

Personnel absolument charmant et attentif aux clients. Les chambres sont joliments décorées. La notre était assez petite mais nous y étions seulement pour 2 jours . La salle de bains était vraiment petite aussi mais la douche et lavabo étaients récents et de bonne qualité. Considérant que l'hôtel se trouve au coeur de Paris il n'y a vraiment pas de bruit. Nous avons très bien dormi. La literie était de bonne qualité. Un parfait emplacement pour visiter Saint Germain des Prés à pied.

The location is exceptional - you are basically walking distance from Orsay, Orangerie, Louvre, and in the middle of boutique galleries and cafes. We loved the small backyard they had; it was a great opportunity to get some quite time in a very packed schedule.

The room was a bit dusty, and one of the pillows had a stain. The room was still quite clean, so it wasn't a big issue. The toiletries were very high-quality, and the AC worked great. I would stay again.

The property was exceptionally welcoming and a brilliant location. Very close to the Rue de Buci. It’s also very pretty. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it so special. We had drinks and biscuits on arrival. It was such a perfect touch.

Als er in de nacht een brand uit was gebroken, zaten we als ratten in de val. de dag receptie was prima, de avond echter kon nergens bij helpen, had enkel de mogelijkheid om de sleutel weer te geven, maar had geen enkele kennis over parijs. Hotel bood ook geen informatie map oid.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and a lovely man who took care of us every morning. Bed and pillows lovely and comfortable. Nice tidy bathroom with lovely Clarins products. Room turned over very well every day. Great location for Louvre, Musee D'Orsay and the Seine. We had a lovely stay in Paris, thanks to all the staff at the Hotel Marronnieres.

Maybe a few more UHT milks in the room for tea and coffee. Otherwise really great

I first stayed here over 30 years ago and it was an absolute pleasure to return. The hotel is just as charming as I remembered and the staff are so warm and friendly. We particularly enjoyed breakfast in the pretty courtyard. Our room was very comfortable and quiet so we slept extremely well. We also appreciated the lovely Clarins products in the bathroom. And the location can’t be beaten for easy proximity to all the delights that Paris has to offer. We hope to return soon!

Freundlicher Empfang, allerbeste Lage, sehr bequemes Bett und ein ausgesprochen feines Frühstück in einem wunderbaren Garten, der auch tagsüber zum Verweilen einlädt. Als äußerst positiv sei noch der hohe Wasserdruck selbst in der vierten Etage genannt, der das Duschen zu einem Vergnügen macht.

This excellent hotel has a wonderful location in Paris with a beautiful tranquil garden. The staff is first rate. The reception representatives were kind and professional. The breakfast man and woman were exceptional in their food and attention to detail. The housekeepers were efficient and tidy. We had a wonderful week there that we will always remember.

We really found a gem tucked away in the middle of "all things" Saint Germain. The location was excellent, the room was great (small - but everything in Paris is small) - bonus that it has AC, and I loved the boutique feel. Just what I hoped for in visiting Paris. Another nice touch - we were greeted with a bottle of champagne in our room to welcome us. That was a really nice surprise.

The rooms are small but that’s Paris hotels. However ours was even smaller than when we stayed previously. The bathroom in particular was miniature.

A return visit. Here earlier in the year with 2 friends and we had a room for 3 which was great. This time I had a single room. Top floor in attic. Really was too small for comfort. Bed squeezed under eves and bathroom impossible to move around. Disappointing that sole travellers offered worst room in hotel.

Fantastic location. We were stunned to realise that we were only a 10 minute walk (if that) to the Louvre. The staff were so attentive, polite, happy and considerate. Delicious breakfast everyday. Fresh cheeses and freshly baked bread and croissants with eggs, sausages, cold beats fruit etc etc! Lovely coffee. All staff really great, Jurgen the night staff was especially wonderful! Great team, soft bedding, toiletries divine. Gorgeous Boutique style. Will return. Thank you.

the location is fantastic; near Quai de la Seine ; it is actually in Saint Germain, a chic district; near the main touristic attractions like Louvre, jardin de Tuilleries, ecc ; easily reachable from Gare du nord/de l;est by bus 39; nice and available staff at the reception. the internal decor is very pleasant. and elegant; ; in the bathroom , good pressure of hot water under the shower.

Rooms are small, however very clean. I was a single occupant in the room and it was fine, it would have been somewhat tight with a second person and more luggage.

The charm, location and its staff.

For me everything was great. As a reader of reviews I must qualify that tall and or obese people should consider carefully as everything is small and at 5’11 190lbs I had to slide sideways thru the shower door opening in order to fit. Toilet seat is small and anyone over 6’4 will suffer to sit on the toilet as the distance from seat to wall is short.

I wish there was a steamer in the room and a more updated hair dryer. Like most Paris hotels, it’s hard to get ice. I wish there was at least one ice machine available for guests. It’s hard to chill down champagne in your room.

Excellente situation géographique. Petit hôtel de charme qui mériterait un 4 étoiles. Personnel accueillant et d`une grande gentillesse. L`espace jardin est magnifique et tellement agréable. Hôtel très propre et très bien tenu. Cet hôtel a fait parti du succès de notre séjour d`une semaine à Paris. Endroit très calme .Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation.

Voici ce qui pourrait être bonifié au petit déjeuner : L`ajout d`une plus grande variété de fruits . Ajout d`infusions (tisane). Variété supplémentaire de pain (grain entier ).

Great location and the green space in garden is a beautiful hidden gem.

While bathroom was small, it was clean with nice products and the shower was great. Afew extra hooks for towels would be practical. I personally think the breakfast could be better - We had breakfast just one morning as didn’t like the choice.

Our party of four arrived and were promptly checked into our room by the friendly receptionist. We had mentioned that we were celebrating a 50th birthday and both rooms had a bottle of champagne, a birthday message and some chocolates / cakes which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The rooms are not huge but this is usual for inner city Paris. Despite this, the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean so can’t complain. The hotel itself is lovely - very Parisian and it has the unusual benefit of an outside courtyard which was beautiful. The staff were wonderful throughout and security / safely seemed to be a priority - we’d stayed out one evening until early hours and the hotel was fully locked up but the overnight security of course let us in. The location of the hotel is also a big plus - it is walking distance to the Rue de Buci and the main boulevard; along the way there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Would 100% recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thanks all!

Staff was amazing. So helpful and friendly. Very welcoming. Facilities are very relaxing. The garden patio is an oasis. It was very quiet. The location of the hotel is great. we could easily walk to the major historic sites and gardens.

Lovely property. The interior breakfast area opens up to the private garden. It’s full of plantings of trees, shrubs, and flowers with plenty of seating of different kinds. The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard.

Das Zimmer war winzig klein. Für zwei Personen mit einem winzigen Bad und einem 140x200 Bett eher gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück war ok. Mehr aber auch nicht.

A little in the small size but we loved it anyway

Das Hotel ist hübsch renoviert, neue Teppichböden, die Duschen sind modernisiert. Die Lage ist natürlich wunderbar . Um die Ecke am Boulevard Saint Germain, das Café Flore und das Deux Magot , die Metro Numero 4 auch in der Nähe. Es gibt wunderbare Galerien und kleine Restaurants. Ganz Rive Gauche , das 7. Arrondissement halt. Es ist nachts sehr ruhig.Es gibt keine Nachtlokale in der Nähe.

Das Hotel hat als ehemaliges Stadthaus einer adligen Familie nur im Erdgeschoß große Räume.Die Zimmer in den anderen 5 Stockwerken sind klein , bis sehr klein. Die Bäder , speziell die Duschen, sind auch nur für zierliche und gut bewegliche Menschen gedacht. Für diesen doch bescheidenen Comfort ist das Hotel zu teuer! Es hat auf Grund der baulichen Gegebenheit zu Recht nur 3 Sterne. Ich war jahrelang Gast hier, da stimmte Preis, Leistung noch.

Lage ist sehr gut

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein und überhaupt nicht gemütlich. In keinem Zimmer ist ein Kühlschrank vorhanden. Die Badezimmer war so klein. Wenn ich die Tür zugemacht hätte, hätte ich wahrscheinlich Panik gehabt.

This little hotel was CHARMING! Everyone working there was super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! The one thing I miss most about being in Paris is this hotel! The courtyard was cozy, the lower level room was a fun place to hang out on a rainy night. I hope I can stay here again someday!

Stunning location and great facilities for a few nights in Paris.

Small rooms and tiny bathroom.

The staff was very nice and it felt like you were in somebody's time. It was not luxurious, but it felt like a small quaint parisian hotel. Beds work , comfortable and the location was perfect.

Bathroom was a little small. And there were no english television.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, mitten im Quartier Latin, in der Nähe von zahlreichen kleinen Restaurants und Bars, aber gleichwohl ruhig mit einem schönen Innenhof. Metro und Busstationen sind sehr nah, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Mein Zimmer war ganz oben und bei geöffneten Fenster konnte man wunderbar schlafen. Die Zimmer sind klein, wie in Paris üblich, aber funktional und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett ist, wenn man zu zweit ist, nur etwas für Paare! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allem der Nachtportier Jürgen! In meinem Zimmer war es absolut sauber und das Bad ist sehr modern und neu.

Das Bad ist sehr klein und das Waschbecken passt eher in ein Gästebad. Der Föhn ist nicht zeitgemäß.

Excellent staff. Very helpful at arranging trips, directions, etc. Old small hotel in great neighborhood. Charming, quiet patio.

The "deluxe" room is hardly deluxe. The end of the bed is 2 feet from the wall. Only one person can get around bed at a time. Small night tables. Old beaten up chest with two drawers, small closet. Had to stuff luggage under bed. Reserved this booking in advance at special non-refundable rate, not the lowest rate. No opportunity to move to another room. Bathroom barely accommodates one person, a glorified airline bath. No power outlet in Bathroom. To use a hairdryer the only outlet was across room, no mirror. It's campy and cramped. Hard to spend time in room other than sleep. They do offer larger rooms.

I like the location. it is really convenient if you are first time or you are travelling to be more outside. really nice to be closer to the most attractive places of the city of love

Yann at the reception was utterly helpful in helping to get my luggage pickd up by the mes bagages service from SNCF. I am very glad he took special attention to it.

What a beautiful find! We have just returned form a fabulous week in this hotel having been to Paris so many times but never in the Latin Quarter and finding this little gem of a hotel which is old and traditionally Parisian made of holiday. Its found on Rue Jacob via a lovely archway off the street where you walk into a magical courtyard with tiny lights a lovely plants. The back garden is equally as magical and you look out onto this t breakfast but can also sit out in the evenings. Room was small but beautifully and traditionally decorated and kept very clean. Everyone from reception to the waiter in the breakast room were so nice and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

Sweet older antique hotel, nice courtyard and garden, nice breakfast offerings on the terrace , wide variety of coffees, the nice server named Jean was so obliging, neat and tidy restaurant, rooms were cleaned daily, halls clean , good elevator. Some notable front desk staff were kind and helpful calling taxis and arranging tickets.

one certain male front desk clerk didnt read and didnt listen and insisted we were wrong and raised his voice at us. I showed him my confirmation and he insisted he would call booking.com and they were always making mistakes and they wouldnt make any money. I told him he was rude and impolite and he didnt stop, he was still shouting as we left for dinner. When we got back from dinner he said called me by my room number and said everything was as I said. He has misread his own confirmation. No apology. Worst desk clerk I ever experienced in my life.
