There wasn’t any hot water the second morning of our stay, so we didn’t love the cold shower.

- Owner is very friendly. - Rooms are confortable and very clean with no carpet. - Good size fridge to store our grocery and there is ice available. - Love the concept of a motel since you park right in front of your room which makes moving luggage much easier. - There is a beautiful gazebo with chair that is available (shared). - Quiet and close to downtown Summerside.

Everything was great, but would be even better if there was a pool.

Very clean, comfortable bed, a bathroom mirror that de-fogs itself, excellent bathroom lighting, easy-to-adjust room temperature control, attentive customer service.

I’ve always been skeptical of motels but this one knocked my socks off - it’s so taken care of and clean. It’s about 5-10 mins to the boardwalk in summerside and it’s honestly worth it! We had one of the bigger rooms and it was perfect for us and our toddler. Beds were very soft but comfortable. There’s a great green space that you can utilize- gazebo, picnic tables. Our toddler had a ball having a picnic dinner and running around. My only complaint would be that the hot water in the shower would go in and out. It wasn’t consistent and by the second person showering it was colder than warm.

The location is great. I did not think Cairns had a breakfast option. That would be the only thing that I could think of that would be a plus. We prefer to stay at motels that include breakfast. The grounds are beautiful, our room was spacious and lovely, clean and fresh, the owners make one feel welcome.

The proprietors are wonderful. The interaction I had at check-in made me feel welcomed and well cared for. Likewise, check-out was another pleasant interaction that set a good tone for the day. My entire stay was great--room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I was very happy with my decision to book a stay at the Cairns Motel.

Very friendly welcome by the Owners. Nice to see they had owned the property for 30+ years. Immaculate and modernized clean room with nice amenities... great food recommendation. Awesome experience. ❤️

Kendra and her husband were very welcoming. We took advantage of their outdoor picnic tables to eat our lobster feasts (yes, we had many!). Room was very clean, and plug ins by the bed bed were great to charge cell phones, laptops, etc. Bathroom was spacious, with great lighting. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here while visiting Summerside.

This is a sweet motel that is well taken care of, very clean, with comfy beds and rooms. For a simple, comfortable, safe and affordable stay - highly recommend!

We love this family-owned motel! It’s lovingly kept up and sparklingly clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows, AC and excellent water pressure in the shower. Only comment for improvement is that this time, our room didn’t have a Smart TV. No problem as we don’t go to PEI to watch TV! I suggest reaching out to the owners directly to ask if you’d like a room that has one.

I loved the tub!! The bed and pillows were very comfy. We were towing our race tuck and they were very accommodating for us to unhook it and parking it while we explored.

Price was a bit high

We had a newly renovated room that was done to perfection. We were greeted by little towel animals on the bed and in the bathroom. Such a cheerful sight after a long day of driving. We especially appreciated the lighting in the new bathroom. The room had everything we needed, including plenty of receptacles for charging electronic gadgets. The large TV was an added bonuses. The bed was new and very comfortable and the room had a comfortable easy chair as well. The owner greeted us and was very helpful with sites to see and places to eat and which streets to get there. It was altogether the best room in what is now week 2 on a 2 week trip to the east coast. Thank you to Kendra and Aaron for the attention to little details that make a travellers life easier and more enjoyable.

Convenient location, easy to find.

The driveway needs to be painted on the sides with white paint because it’s really dark and the entry to the driveway to Sunny Isles is hard to see at night.

This small motel is well-maintained, updated and very clean. The shower was great! We found the bed & pillows comfy. The television had a variety of stations. Laundry room/ice machine on the premises. A.C. worked well along with great wifi. Check-in was efficient and a map of Summerside & list of dining options given to us. It ticked all the boxes while being affordable. Enjoyed our stay....

This motel was so clean and very well up to date! They also did towel animals like you’d get on a resort which I found very cute and a nice touch! Would have stayed longer if we were in PEI longer! If I am ever that way again I will definitely be staying here

Early check in was no problem! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable re:local restaurant offerings. Property was pristine! Bed was comfortable and shower was perfect (temperature and pressure). The Cairns Motel is all-ways "Goldilocks"... just right!!

King room is lovely, spacious, up to date and comfortable

We booked another night beside our regular booking and moved to another room which was understandable but the shower water didn’t get very warm if you used it at a busy time of day. AC units blew warm air at times
