Rustig gelegen met parkeerplek. Fijne tuin met zwembad en faciliteiten.Op 10 minuten lopen van het strand en nog minder naar het levendige havenkwartier.

De kamer was klein, het balkon keek uit op de parkeerplaats en het bed smal en erg stevig. Ontbijt vrij eenvoudig. Het prijsniveau aan de Algarve ligt hoog. Op andere plaatsen in Portugal hebben we 5 sterren voor ditzelfde tarief.

Amazing staff, super friendly and accommodating. Excellent location (quieter than the busy harbour but a quick walk away).

We stayed at Hotel Praia Sol last week (9 family members) as we were attending a wedding in Vilamoura. Our stay here was thoroughly enjoyable, staff were extremely friendly and polite, the hotel was spotless, the location is excellent (only a short walk to the beach and the Marina). The buffet breakfast was gorgeous and on our second morning the staff set up a large family table for us all, which was a lovely touch. The swimming pool and outdoor area is also lovely and quiet and the little bar/cafe there does great toasties! Would definitely recommend this hotel, great value for money.

A walk-in shower would be preferable to the shower over the bath, just thinking of elderly visitors.

El hotel tiene habitaciones amplias (1 adultos con 2 adolescentes en habitación con camas individuales nos podíamos mover con facilidad), terraza, parking privado incluido, a 300 metros de la playa, piscina, tranquilo, silencioso, a 15 min andando de McDonalds, a ese mismo tiempo del puerto deportivo de Villamoura, paseo marítimo para hacer deporte matutino con parque de Calistenia por si quieres venirte un poco arriba, muy limpio, 10 min en coche de supermercados Pingo Doce y me sorprendió gratamente que tenía frigorífico que nos ayudó a mantener frías las bebidas. En la misma localidad que el parque acuático Aquashow, muy recomendable al combinar atracciones acuáticas con otras mecánicas, nos encantó. Además, puedes meter comida, sillas, sombrilla, etc

We liked everything! Amazing, very very clean place with excellent location and excellent staff and service. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi outside were open from 8 am till 8 pm, which is really amazing, and towels for the pool were provided. The centre, beach, and Marina are on a 5-10 minutes walk, where you can find excellent restaurants. We will definitely go back. This is the best hotel from more than hundred that have been before and exactly what we needed.

Hotel un po'datato. Asciugamani e lenzuola non avevano un buon odore.La colazione niente di eccezionale e la cameriera della sala colazione un po' maleducata. Siamo rimasti una sola notte ma non lo consiglierei.

Nagyon zajos, minden szomszédos beszéd és ajtó becsukás hangos volt. A reggeli inkább nagy mértélű édes péksütemény választék volt, a felvágottak, zöldségek válsztéka elég szegényes volt.

Very clean. Good location, easy walking distance to the Marina or the beach. Staff helpful and polite. Nice breakfast.

The filter coffee in the jug is better than the machine coffee. Also fresh orange juice (although you have the squeeze it yourself using their device) is much better than the machine juice. Would have been nice to see a pastel de nata on the breakfast buffet. But the rest was nice.

The smell of the room. It smelled of desinfectant and it wasn't pleasent. And the rooms are dated.

Excellent location, very quiet and not too busy even in August. Less than 10 min walk from the beach and the marina. Lovely pool with lots of sun beds. The staff were lovely, especially Stefanie, and the room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again

De service. Bij check out verliep alles raar. Er kwam iemand aan en zei. Leg je kaart maar neer je kunt gaan. Ik vroeg of hij een taxi voor mij kon bellen. Hij zij dat doen wij niet. Ik zei ik moet naar Faro vliegveld. Eindelijk ging hij iemand bellen. Dit ging echt waardeloos.

Well kept and very clean albeit a little outdated (although this didn't matter to us). Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool/outdoor area - always plenty of sun loungers. Very close to marina, beach and various hotels/restaurants - a perfect location and great value for money.

Very little in the way of negative points - the room facilities are basic (no shampoo/conditioner, tea/coffee etc) but this is to be expected for the price.

A nossa estadia foi ótima! A localização é realmente central, permitindo deslocações a pé para a praia, a Marina e vários restaurantes. O quarto tinha tudo o que necessitávamos, incluindo uma cama muito confortável, mini frigorífico e cofre. Tanto o quarto como a casa de banho estavam impecavelmente limpos. O espaço conta ainda com um agradável jardim e uma piscina, que tornam a estadia ainda mais agradável. Por fim, gostaria de destacar a simpatia e disponibilidade de todos os funcionários, que foram sempre muito prestáveis.

Adoramos este Hotel! É o segundo ano que ficamos. Localização excelente, ambiente calmo em todas as zonas do hotel ( estivemos em julho) e de certa forma, personalizado. O pequeno almoço é muito bom e oferece alguma diversidade.

The service was unparelled. The staff who checked us in, female, dark haired, olive skin, particularly stood out. She provided us a kettle, spoons etc.

The fact that there were no coffee makers nor kettle in-room to brew tea was an inconvenience.

The staff, the pool and the location were all great. Really friendly and professional. We got sun beds at every time of the day we went down. The pool area itself was well kept and clean. Pizza at the bar was lovely. The shampoo/shower gel they give you smells good. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the marina. There's a tourist train stop right outside also!

The breakfast could be better (though you could make fresh orange juice which was a lovely touch) but it got boring after the third day. Not too many options for cocktails at the pool bar. The pillows weren't very comfortable.

I had a very pleasant stay here, stayed solo for three nights, the area felt very safe for a solo woman, walked at 1:30 am to McDonald and never felt at risk, the balcony was very nice although the light did not work and I thought the chair would break, did not figure how the air con worked but it was bearable, I like the sort of Mediterranean/tuscan vibes so I found the hotel room not outdated, and I loved the warm lighting. Thought there were no charging ports by bed but had to move bedside table, Opted for a early check in and got to wait in their lobby, front staff very friendly and accommodating, good location, short walk to restaurants, the beach and lively atmosphere, didn’t check the pool area out as I do not swim or tan, neither the dining area, a con for me is the room is very badly soundproofed and I was here mid July so I think it was very booked, I need almost complete silence when sleeping so it was a issue for me. from neighbours regular conversations in their room to peole in the hallway or even the elevator I heard EVERYTHING, I woke up as this is written yesterday night at 5 am, because some people were screaming in the corridor, woke up again at 6 am from peole walking and rolling they’re suitcases, then again at 9 am from the people upstairs walking and the people next to me we’re opening and closing the wardrobe a billion times, then I woke up at 10 am to people in the hallway, yes I know hotels have noise but I was in a hotel in albufeira before this one with bunch of party goers and slept through it all, the rooms need soundproofing, I also hear people outside talking very detailed with the balcony door shut. It was a good value for money, and the room was very clean . I’ll stay here 100% again.

The hotel is incredibly quiet and great for a relaxing getaway. It’s not too far from the marina which had some amazing spots for food and drinks. The staff are all incredibly friendly and happy to help with any issues, the hotel is incredibly clean.

Value for money this hotel is brilliant. From start to finish all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was great value and good selection and quality of ingredients. Bar seemed reasonably priced and bar staff very pleasant. Rooms, although are very 90's and a bit dated, (lets not forget what the price is and value) they are well maintained and cleaned daily to a high standard. Parking free of charge. Beach towels available with refundable deposit. Would not hesitate to recommend and use this hotel again.

I have been staying at Hotel Praia Sol for the past two nights and have been pleasantly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff deserve special recognition for their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help. Every interaction was met with a warm smile and excellent customer service. One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its fantastic location. The beachfront and marina are within easy walking distance, making it convenient to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and other amenities nearby, so everything you need is right at your doorstep. Overall, Hotel Praia Sol offers great value, a comfortable atmosphere, and an excellent location. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The pool and pool area were lovely - not crowded, easy to get sun beds and some shade. Very relaxing. The hotel is general was great and I’d recommend it. Staff were very helpful. Good area.

Unfortunately we were given room 001 which is very close to the lobby/ reception/ small bar area, which was very noisy up until around midnight. Would have asked to switch rooms if we’d been staying any longer.

We loved our short break and the hotel had everything we needed. The location was really convenient, an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, and the same to the Vilamoura marina where there are loads of restaurants & bars. The room was spacious and had air con and a mini fridge. Beds were comfy too. We had breakfast included and the selection was great. The pool is lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds available. All the staff were helpful and friendly. They recommended La Cabana restaurant which was a great tip and we had a lovely evening there. All in all Praia Sol is a great little find for a few days in the sun and I would definitely come back!

Handy location for the marina. Only stayed one night prior to moving to our main hotel. Value for money was excellent and we have stayed here before so we knew what to expect. Very friendly staff and teh hotel was clean and comfortable. Very basic but adequate. Would definitely stay here again.

It was all good and as we expected it to be. Very basic and the breakfast we have had in the past here is also very basic.
