The apartment was as described. Very beautiful, traditional interior. Very kind owners who support in every way possible. Easy transport from HER airport, organised by the hotel owners. We also had to visit a hospital once, the support from the owners was outstanding. Absolute recommendation.

Struttura in pieno centro, tra negozi e ristoranti ma in una traversa molto silenziosa, pulita tutti i giorni con ricambio asciugamani. Yannis, il proprietario, è di una gentilezza senza pari, sempre pronto a dare consigli e a farti sentire a casa. Hanno anche convenzione con il parcheggio vicino, molto comodo (e gratuito per gli ospiti). Consigliato vivamente se volete soggiornare a Rethymno.

De bijzonder gastvrije host doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken met goede tips, fruit, wijn, maar vooral vriendelijke aandacht voor z’n gasten. De appartementen zijn ruim van opzet en echt hartje stad, zonder iets van de drukte te ervaren en van alles voorzien.

Het parkeren is een eindje weg en afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid. Omdat het op een openbare parkeerplaats is, staat het regelmatig vol en dan is het echt zoeken in de binnenstad naar een andere plek.

Fantastic location, especially as I was only able to stay one night. This gave me the ability to enjoy Rethymno more efficiently!

Some elements feel a bit outdated but everything you need is there and everything was very clean! The older elements are part of the charm.

Central apartment up one floor from ground floor about 25 stairs on the staircase nice bright entrance this apartment is in a separate building from the main hotel it overlooks the local church it is a one minute walk to nice reataurants all restaurants in the old town can be reached on foot within ten minutes and there are many high quality restaurants in the old town which is a busy tourist place we enjoyed every restaurant we went to over ten days.The beach we walked to in about ten minutes but its a very long straight beach so youcould walk much further the beach bar we liked took us 25 minutes to walk to , a nice walk along the promenade.Right outside the apartment is a nice clean cafe it serves very good coffee squeezed orange juice and various breakfast items and snacks , all the cafes restaurants and bars we went to give you free a bottle of water with glasses containing ice . The apartment has three rooms a bathroom with shower , loo , washhand basin washing machine.The main living area has a kitchen at one end with fridge cooker table and chairs and at the other end two single beds and glass doors leading to the veranda rhe main room is about 8 metres long and four wide the veranda four metres long it has a drying screen and a table and chairs. There is q chemist and a corner shop within a minute walk go right as you leave the building. The taxi drivers Yannis arrnfed for us arriving and leaving were very nice , interesting people and their driving was comfortable and safe we liked that. The bedroom is about 4 metres x 4 metres a double bed decent storage and also has a glass door to the veranda. Aircon in the main room and one in the bedroom too both were very efficient the cost of use was included in the room price which was very nice too. Yannis is a gentleman , a nice warm person very knowledgeable , his generosity is outstanding as has been described by many reviewers you will like him. This is more than a hol apartmnt you could live here full time.

Tout ! Emplacement idéal dans la vieille ville, à deux pas du front de mer, mais au calme. Accueil chaleureux, frigo rempli de fruits, jus et eau. Appartement spacieux et charmant, au cachet délicieusement désuet. Excellente literie. Propreté irréprochable (Merci à l'adorable Karima). Equipement de l'appartement parfait. Tout ce qu'il faut et plus encore ! Salle de bain très confortable avec une douche de rêve. Grâce à notre hôte Iannis, notre séjour n'a été que du bonheur ! Merci mille fois. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain.

Absolument tout ! Avant même d’arriver Yannis est très agréable et très disponible ! Yannis l'hôte de ce lieu est tout simplement exceptionnel de gentillesse, il ne sait pas quoi faire pour vous rendre le séjour encore plus agréable, notre chambre était un appartement avec tout le nécessaire et plus encore, de charmantes attentions déposées régulièrement (eau, fruits frais, etccccc) Le service de chambre est impeccable et tout ça à 50 mètres du bord de mer. 11 jours passés ici et vraiment rien à redire. Nous recommandons très fortement !

EVERYTHING!! Right from Yannis’ wonderful communication before during and after it set the scene for a beautifully friendly and extremely comfortable stay. The apartment provides EVERYTHING you could need. Yannis recommendations were spot on: a nice beach in walking distance for a swim, a great location Charlie Chaplin (HAPPY HOUR - 50% off all alcoholic beverages between 7-8pm), an absolute MUST DO - Parastratima (Yannis even made our reservation for us so that we didn’t miss out. The food, service and setting is DELICIOUS). Then the Olive Tree for an after dinner drink to just sit, relax and enjoy watching people wander by. Yannis’ consideration for his guests truly goes above and beyond - his assistance with car parking, his incredibly generous hospitality (soooooo many thoughtful acts/gifts) and his genuine interest in sharing interesting information about his area is fantastic. Do yourself a favour and book here!

Yannis è il perfetto padrone di casa. Al nostro arrivo, siccome l'alloggio risulta in una via pedonale, ci è venuto incontro per prendere i bagagli e portarli in albergo mentre noi parcheggiavamo la macchina. Ci ha dato un sacco di consigli sulla città e si è preoccupato che il nostro soggiorno procedesse al meglio. In camera abbiamo trovato un bel cesto di frutta e al check out ci ha lasciato un gradito omaggio. L'alloggio era pulitissimo , con tutto l'occorrente e si trova in posizione centrale, ma nonostante ciò è super silenzioso.

Struttura ben arredata, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Il proprietario è gentilissimo, per via delle eccessive restrizioni al traffico si rende disponibile a prendere le valigie poiché non è possibile lasciare la macchina in nessun posto nemmeno temporaneamente in prossimità della struttura. Le indicazioni che abbiamo ricevuto per i ristoranti e tour della città sono state utilissime. Da tornare!

Le limitazioni al traffico sono eccessive, sarebbe necessario prevedere dei parcheggi a sosta temporanea per il carico/ scarico valigie lungo il mare.

Excellent stay at an excellent location in the center of Chania. The property has all necessary amenities and is tidy and cosy, with lots of complementary perks. The gentleman at the reception is really nice and helpful. Overall, a truly satisfying experience.

Un grazie di cuore al sig. Yannis che ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Rethymno un incanto. La struttura si trova in un vicolo in pieno centro storico. Parcheggiare davanti è impossibile ma Yannis si è occupato di accompagnarci al parcheggio pubblico a 5 minuti a piedi e non abbiamo avuto alcun problema con la macchina per tutto il soggiorno. L'appartamento ha un arredamento in stile molto classico e questo pensavo fosse un problema prima di arrivare ma appena scoperto Rethymno abbiamo capito che la sua struttura se fosse stata più moderna forse avrebbe tolto fascino al conteso. La sorpresa è stata l'estrema pulizia dell'appartamento, Yannis chi rifaceva i letti OGNI GIORNO e cambiava la biancheria da bagno OGNI GIORNO. Inoltre l'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort (aria condizionata, lavatrice, veranda con stendino e cucina super attrezzata. Un grazie di cuore a Yannis che è diventato un dolce ricordo per la nostra bimba con cui è stato davvero estremamente gentile, sempre attento, premuroso e le ha fatto molti regali. Inoltre ci ha dato moltissimi consigli su spiagge e taverne ed era sempre pronto ad ogni nostra necessità. Una persona che si trova molto raramente.

Tout était parfait, l’accueil du propriétaire était impeccable, la situation géographique en plein cœur du vieux réthymnon. Nous avions accès au stationnement public à quelques pas de l’hôtel. La chambre était bien équipée grande propre et confortable. Le ménage était fait à chaque jour et nous avions des bouteilles d’eau à chacun des ménages fait. Le propriétaire a pris le temps de nous donner plein d’informations à notre arrivée des idées, resto, les idées d’attractions. Nous avons eu droit à une bouteille de vin et une bouteille de mousseux à notre arrivée et nous avions de bon fruits à la chambre. À notre départ, nous avons eu plein de cadeaux. Séjour de six nuits.

The location is excellent - right in the center of the old town, with parking available nearby. Our host Yannis was polite, communicative and genuinely pleasant throughout, always ready to help with anything we needed. He even gave us souvenirs after we checked out - if there were a Nobel Prize for hospitality, Yannis would be the first to receive it!

Soggiorno davvero piacevole! Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti da un host molto gentile, disponibile e premuroso, che ci ha spiegato tutto con attenzione e ci ha fornito una cartina con i principali punti di interesse e ristoranti della zona. È stato inoltre molto disponibile nell’accompagnarci in un’altra struttura, situata nella via parallela, sempre in pieno centro e comodissima per visitare la città a piedi. Il parcheggio convenzionato a pochi minuti a piedi, comodo. L’appartamento era spazioso, pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort. Abbiamo apprezzato molto le tante piccole attenzioni: acqua extra, frutta, ciabattine e numerosi prodotti per il bagno, come bagnoschiuma e shampoo. Il letto era comodo e, nonostante la posizione centrale, l’appartamento era tranquillo e silenzioso. Una nota particolarmente piacevole è stata la gentilezza dell’host alla partenza, quando ci ha lasciato dei piccoli e graditissimi doni come ricordo del soggiorno. Un gesto davvero carino che dimostra la cura e l’attenzione verso gli ospiti. Posizione ottima, appartamento curato e accoglienza eccellente. Soggiorno assolutamente consigliato!

L’unica piccola nota è la presenza delle scale, essendo una struttura senza ascensore, ma nulla di particolarmente problematico, l’host è stato molto gentile e ci ha aiutato col passeggino.

L’ ospitalità e l’accortezza dell’host sono state impeccabili, siamo stati accolti e accompagnati presso il parcheggio. La struttura in pieno centro, a un passo da tutto, porticciolo, città vecchia, fortezza veneziana, faro, ristoranti. Stanza pulitissima con frigo rifornito di acqua, frutta fresca e vino. Graditissimi gli omaggi nel momento del check-out, assolutamente consigliata!!!!!

Struttura carina nell' area pedonale, ci è piaciuto tutto. Struttura consigliatissima!

Una estancia perfecta de principio a fin. La ubicación es inmejorable, en pleno centro y con la comodidad de tener parking muy cerca. La habitación era muy amplia, cómoda y confortable. Desde nuestra llegada nos sorprendieron con fruta y bebidas de bienvenida, un detalle que agradecimos muchísimo. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue el trato del dueño: extremadamente amable, atento y servicial, pendiente en todo momento de que no nos faltara nada y ayudándonos con todo lo que necesitamos durante nuestra estancia. Además, los detalles que tuvo con nosotros el día de la despedida fueron una auténtica sorpresa y pusieron el broche perfecto a nuestra estancia. Nos sentimos realmente cuidados y como en casa. Volveríamos sin ninguna duda. Totalmente recomendable.

La struttura davvero meravigliosa. Si arriva in questo vicolo raffinato e quasi lussuoso, mentre entri all’interno della struttura l’immagine della vecchia struttura burocratica appare subito come una piacevole sorpresa. La stanza un bellissimo monolocale con soppalco e terrazzo sul quale godersi la colazione o pranzo o cena vista la disponibilità dei mezzi per cucinare. L’ospitalità è davvero unica, abbiamo trovato ogni informazione utile dall’arrivo al nostro rilascio della struttura. Abbiamo sempre trovato frutta e Aqua nel frigorifero ogni giorno che tornavamo in camera. È tutto perfetto!!!

L’hotel è in centro dietro alla via principale. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, anche se abbiamo fatto una sola notte di passaggio la mattina ha regalato ai miei figli due ventagli e due calamite

The host was very welcoming and friendly. And the location is in the middle of the old town.

Upon our late arrival, we received a warm welcome from Yannis. He took his time to explain the highlights of the city and gave us advice where to go/eat. The stay was great, the location is walking distance from the beach and old town. The apartment was spacious and very clean, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains. Yannis was also wonderful during checkout, we asked to checkout 1 hour later and we were also able to leave our suitcase there for a while. We hope to go back to Rethymno and stay at Afroditi again!

Struttura non nuova ma ristrutturata in pieno centro storico. Ascensore, aria condizionata, lavatrice. Non è possibile arrivare con l’auto davanti all’ingresso ma Yannis efficientissimo proprietario è sempre presente e aiuta col trovare parcheggio e con le valigie. Appartamento pulito. Cambio degli asciugamani giornaliero. Anche le bottiglie d’acqua sono sempre presenti così come la frutta in frigorifero che viene offerta e anche reintegrata durante il soggiorno. Si può usufruire anche di ombrellone teli mare palla e giochi per bambini. Ospitalità di Yannis, il proprietario è il valore aggiunto della vacanza. Ci ha regalato anche dei souvenir ricordo

Sicuramente funzionale come albergo La Parte cucina è proprio essenziale di stoviglie. Tuttavia basta chiedere a Yannis ciò che manca e provvede a trovarlo.

L’accoglienza è stata ottima il proprietario una bravissima persona. Appena arrivati si è interessato della nostra valigia che è stata persa in aeroporto al nostro arrivo. Tramite lui l’abbiamo ritrovata. Inoltre dopo averla ritrovata ci siamo accorti che il manico era rotto e sempre tramite Yannis in contatto con la compagnia aerea ci è stata sostituita con una valigia nuova.Ogni mattina abbiamo ricevuto frutta e acqua in camera. Alla nostra partenza ci ha regalato perfino dei gadget del posto. Ci torneremo ancora. È stato bellissimo stare lì per 11 notti. Grazie mille Un arrivederci

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und das gesamte Gebäude stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage in der Nähe der Strandpromenade ist sehr vorteilhaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der äußerst zuvorkommende Gastgeber, der auch kleine Hürden sofort aus dem Weg räumte. Da die Anreise durch fehlende Parkplätze direkt am Haus zunächst problematisch war, wies er uns ein und stellte uns für den gesamten Aufenthalt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz am Hafen zur Verfügung. Der Service war generell exzellent. Es wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, Wasser sowie frisches Obst wurden immer wieder nachgefüllt und wir konnten kostenlos Strandutensilien ausleihen. Zudem erhielten wir umfangreiche Tipps zur Umgebung und zum Abschied kleine Geschenke.

Nichts. Das Parkplatzproblem wurde durch den Gastgeber gelöst, sodass es hier keine Kritikpunkte gibt.

Struttura situata nel centro storico di Rethymno ma con un parcheggio comodo nella via parallela (2 min a piedi). Il sig. Yannis davvero delizioso, e’ venuto a prenderci le valigie e ci ha accompagnato al parcheggio. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con la camera ma ci ha subito aiutato a risolverlo e si è dimostrato super disponibile! Noi avevamo un piccolo appartamento nella parte nuova della struttura, confortevole, pulito e con una bellissima terrazza. Consigliamo questa struttura!

One of the best places we stayed in. The host was simply amazing and so welcoming. The room had everything it needed and more (we got fruits and juice refilled as well). Great position and all.

Il proprietario è una persona gentilissima, disponibile e simpatica. La struttura è molto gradevole, non aspettatevi un boutique hotel, gli ambienti e le camere sono classici, puliti e ordinati. Sono mini appartamenti con angolo cottura, lavatrice, aria condizionata e un piccolo spazio esterno molto comodo. La posizione è ottima per visitare il centro storico della città.

Hotel in the historic center of Rethymno, in a great location for a nice evening stroll and close to many clubs, bars, and taverns. Car parking is about 300 to 400 meters from the property. Spotless rooms and a super friendly, helpful, and kind host. I recommend this hotel! Great hospitality.

La gentillesse du propriétaire, il nous a attendu malgré notre arrivée tardive et nous a très bien accueillis! Les restaurants et bars du bord de mer sont à quelques pas. Le propriétaire nous a offert le parking pour la nuit et toute la journée du lendemain. Il y avait de l'eau et du jus de fruits dans le réfrigérateur, la top classe

Everything was amazing, and we honestly have nothing negative to say. The room was comfortable, and the host was absolutely wonderful. He helped us with parking and even gave us thoughtful gifts to remember our stay in Rethymno! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.

The property as was described. It was neat and tidy and in a great location in old town. Everything is just a walk away. Loved having the balcony. The facilities were perfect! Having a kitchen and washing machine was handy. What made the stay perfect was the host. He was so quick and responsive to our questions and requests. So welcoming! He did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

Picking one thing, which really didn’t disturb us too much, was with its location on the square you could hear people walking past and some of the local animals during the night.

Prilikom rezervazije sam čitala recenzije i svi su pričali o vlasniku Janisu. Mislila sam da preteruju, pa sam rezervisala da vidim ko je Janis, pored toga što je je apartman na odličnoj lokaciji. Apaolutno, sve je istina. Prvi utisak je Janis, naravno. Ljubazan, uvek spreman da pomogne, a u sobi nas je čekalo voće, vode, sok, šampanjac...Prvi put da sam smeštajem zadovoljnija uživo, nego na slikama. Kreveti su udobni, soba se čisti svaki dan, peškiri se svakodnevno donose čisti, a obnavlja se i kozmetika u kupatilu. U smeštaju možete uzeti i stvari za plažu poput suncobrana, lopte, tenisa...a posebno mi se dopalo što dobijate i peškire za plažu. Ako opet budem posetila ovaj divni grad, definitivno će opet ovaj smeštaj biti moj prvi izbor.

Tout! L hôtel est idéalement situé dans la zone piétonne. La chambre est très confortable et propre. L accueil surtout est incroyable! Conseils, aide pour apporter les bagages et de nombreux cadeaux de bienvenue. Jusqu’au moment du départ… une gentillesse incroyable et rare! Merci pour ce début de séjour crétois!

Soggiorno eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista! Abbiamo soggiornato da Afroditi e la nostra esperienza è stata fantastica. Tutto è stato semplicemente eccellente: la pulizia era impeccabile e la camera era molto spaziosa. Il vero valore aggiunto della struttura è l'host, Yannis. La sua disponibilità è straordinaria e ha soddisfatto ogni nostra singola richiesta con estrema gentilezza. La struttura è super attrezzata e pensata per non far mancare nulla agli ospiti. Abbiamo trovato a disposizione frutta fresca, succhi di frutta e acqua in frigo, come omaggio di benvenuto. La struttura pur presentandosi come appartamento/monolocale è un vero e proprio hotel in centro a Rethymno con tanto di reception dove Yannis è costantemente presente. In Bagno ci sono asciugamani e saponi per piu' giorni, c'è la lavatrice con detersivo già a disposizione. Inoltre mettono a disposizione Ombrellone portatile da spiaggia, Giochi per bambini (paletta, secchiello, ecc.), Pinne e maschere per il mare. Da casa non serve davvero portare nulla, c'è già tutto il necessario per una vacanza perfetta. Struttura consigliatissima, se torniamo a Creta ci torneremo sicuramente! Grazie Yannis. Alojamiento con encanto ubicado en pleno centro de Rethymno. Yannis tuvo muy buena disposición y fue muy atento con nosotras. El apartamento era precioso. Todo limpio y al detalle lo cual hizo la experiencia única. También nos ayudó con el tema parking lo cual es de agradecer al estar tan céntrico. Nos quedamos con ganas de pasar alguna noche más.

From checking in to leaving, we had a great experience. Yannis was a very welcoming and generous host. The room was larger than we expected and well equipped. The gratis fruit, wine and water was an unexpected bonus. Hotel staff were helpful and looked after our room to a high standard.

Nothing to dislike.

Very comfortable stay, would totally stay there again. The owner left us his access card to the parking lot. The location is ideal. They gave us free fruit and water bottles.

I can’t recommend Afroditi enough. It was one of the best stays I’ve had. The apartment sits right in the centre of Rethymno’s old town, steps away from all the restaurants and bars. Inside, it had everything we needed and more. The host was exceptional, he was kind, proactive, and unbelievably flexible. Whatever we needed, he found a way to make it happen, quickly and with a smile. I’d stay here again every time I visit Rethymno. Amenities (everything you could need) included: Iron Hair dryer and straighteners (not high end but usable for thickish hair) Towels Beach towels were offered if needed Parking is offered outside the old town (5min walk max) + More

Everything was amazing including the owner, Yannis who welcomed us with wine and fruits, with his generosity we had our perfect stay. The room is clean with comfortable beds. Location is quite yet still close to everything you need.

Totul a fost la superlativ. Am fost cazați într-un apartament pt 4 persoane, amenajat cu bun gust, dotat cu tot ce am fi putut avea nevoie. Curatenie desăvârșită la sosire, întreținută zilnic de personalul hotelului. Dl. Yannis este o gazda excelenta. Ne-a dat informatii despre atractiile locale, restaurante si taverne. Ne-a oferit apa pe toată perioada cazării, fructe proaspete, o sticla cu vin la sosire, cadouri de bun ramas la plecare. Recomand din toată inima acest hotel!

Yannis is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij helpt met alle vragen die je hebt. De douche is heel fijn en het hebben van een wasmachine is top. Alle nodige faciliteiten waren aanwezig.

The location is perfect. Just 30 minutes from Kurbad lake by car and 50 minutes to Kessamos to take ferry to Balos. Also We enjoyed walked in the evening, we met sunrise on our balcony. Hospitality of the Yannis is something! I felt like he is our best friend who cares about us. It was perfect time on Crete!

I liked everything.

Locatia este imbatabila, cladirea istorica fiind situata in centrul vechi. De asemenea m-a impresionat curatenia, atentia la detalii. Camera era dotata cu masina de spalat, fier de calcat. Proprietatea are chiar si o mica biblioteca. Proprietarul, un om deosebit, a fost foarte atent cu noi, am gasit frigiderul plin cu fructe, apa, suc. Am primit sfaturi foarte folositoare privind zona. La plecare am primit cate ceva din partea dansului. Cu siguranta vom reveni aici si il recomandam tuturor celor care vor sa aiba o cazare.

Pan Yannis byl moc milý, dal tipy na free parking a aktivity v okolí. V ledničce jsme měli dokonce malé pohoštění. Postel byla pohodlná.
