Очень приветливый персонал. Много зелени. Обстановка по домашнему. Хорошая охрана, всё контролировала и помогала при раннем отъезде на экскурсии. Очень милые и воспитанные собачки. Хороший и чистый бассейн. совсем близко от моря. Вообщем респект.

Не совсем постоянно и иногда слабый интернет. Немного далековато от центра. При отезде к пляжу подошло нефтяное пятно. Жаль!!!

Ein Ort der Ruhe und Entspannung. Besonders schön ist die gepflegte Gartenanlage. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Das Restaurant Thambili Cafe auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite ist wunderschön gelegen und sehr zu empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Die Aufmerksamkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit von Lokka und Siril sind besonders hervorzuheben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hervorzuheben ist auch das Café. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind auch sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Essen, als auch das BBQ war hervorragend. Der Strand ist nur 50 Meter entfernt und ein Traum.

Thambili Cabanas is a beautifully maintained place with a lovely garden full of flowers and friendly dogs, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very professional, and the staff are kind, attentive, and always helpful. The welcome was truly amazing. Being served fresh coconut water as a welcome drink was both beautiful and refreshing, setting the tone for the stay. The place is extremely peaceful and ideal for yoga. They have dedicated yoga rooms and provide yoga mats, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. They do not serve breakfast at the property, but this was not an issue as there are many good places to eat nearby. They also have their own beach cafe, Thambili Cafe, which is another beautiful spot with a relaxing beachside setup and delicious food. The cafe is only about a 5 minute walk from the cabanas. Overall, it is a calm, well-managed place that I would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Не хватило работающего кафе или хотя бы где можно было бы что-то купить то есть небольшой магазинчик при отель потому что и музыки около бассейна то есть такое всё-таки больше очень домашних получать территории

La villa de 150m2 es espectacular. El personal es increíble, estás como en casa. Al lado de la playa!

Wir waren rundum begeistert von diesem charmanten Hotel und haben dort eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht. Der Pool war angenehm erfrischend und der Garten mit seinen zahlreichen Blüten liebevoll gestaltet – eine kleine Oase zum Entspannen. Das Personal war durchweg ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bereits beim Check-in erhielten wir eine frische Kokosnuss, was nicht nur uns, sondern vor allem unserer kleinen Tochter eine große Freude bereitet hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, und selbst ein später Check-out war problemlos möglich. Hier fühlt man sich wirklich wie ein geschätzter Gast – absolute Empfehlung!

Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli dans cet hôtel! L’endroit et magnifique, paisible, tout en étant très bien localisé! Les chambres sont spacieuses et disposent d’aire conditionné et de ventilateur. Petite mention spéciale pour les chiens de la villa Milo et Bomi (sur la photo) qui sont adorables. Nous n’hésiteront pas à revenir si l’occasion se représente. Encore merci de nous avoir accueilli!

We liked the large balcony and the view over the gardens

We didn't like the regular extremely loud trains running every hour! Just outside our room. We had a storm and air con and electricity stopped working and wasn't out right until the morning. The shower was nice but the flow was poor. The bed looked nice but it was very hard and had no protector, just sheets straight onto the mattress. This was advertised as luxurious and it wasn't.

Kasun was fabulous we were welcomed with a big smile and a fresh coconut he looked after us so well we didn’t want to leave In fact we left twice to travel around the area but came back to Thambili as it was so much nicer we will definitely return.

Very nice and big room with good AC.. We were on the groundfloor, just a step into a fantastic garden. A staffmember made gardening with great care. Close to the beach and if you prefer pool there is one as well. Nice, calm feeling over the hole place, because of the garden and the nice staff. I will really recommend a stay.

This is a beautiful place. Really peaceful and cared for. The yoga shala is just lovely and the gardens are gorgeous. The cafe on the beach is perfect. Fresh food and juices with sun loungers and some tables right on the sand. The staff are so kind, I'm leaving with new friends 🥰

Nothing. You do hear the train passing occasionally, but you stop noticing it quickly.

Rooms are large and very clean. The swimming pool is a good size. The place is very quiet, well maintained and staff is friendly. There are two lovely dogs that roam the premises. Laundry service is available.

Our room was next to the staff quarters and they were sometimes noisy early in the morning. Also the building of our room was 10m from the railroad and trains pass by regularly. So make sure you get one of the cabanas more towards the front of the property. No food or drinks are available but a small supermarket is a 5 min walk.

Beautiful pool and a nice relaxed environment. Good spots to eat close.

Location between busy road and train tracks made it a little noisy. Also had to walk along the busy road to get anywhere.

It has a serenity feeling to the place. Pool are is beautiful. Probably good place for yoga groups. Nice garden area.

The dogs that live there bark and woke me up in the morning. Train goes by very close to room and can wake you up. Windows let in every noise. Pool area is to crowded with plants and feels to enclosed.

Beautyful little oasis with a wonderful caretaker, Kasun, who will go beyond to make guests happy. Very helpful with everything. Great pool and gardens, very nicelly furnished big rooms with terrace, comfy bed and a big area for yoga.Thank you

It is a nice hotel with a good pool, amazing service from the staff and cozy environment. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was a bit far from shops and restaurants compared to what we had expected, but we could have researched that ourselves in advance.

The staff were so nice here! They went above and beyond what they needed to do. When we arrived it was late and we wanted to have some drinks. The manager drove to the liquor store and bought beers for us. The next day it was my birthday and they even got me a cake. Everything was clean, the pool was awesome and rooms were great.

Good location - several steps to the nice beach and some good places to eat. Nice swimming pool and marvellous garden. Very friendly personnel

Nice, clean and affordable place to stay. The pool was refreshing and clean. They have Thambili cafe on the other side of the street (less than 5 min walk) where we bought breakfast every morning. Easy and quick walk to the beach - although you have to cross the busy street before you get there. Good location to do excursions from.

The train goes literally next to the cabanas and it is loud. The rooms downstairs (deluxe rooms) are quite dark and there is no view. Better to book the one with balcony in the other building It's good to note that the rooms with balcony have three rooms connected by one balcony - so those balconies are not private.

Beautiful accomondation, very calm and spacious. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for us since it’s just outside of the busy area.

Great location, really comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and the pool! The host was really friendly and absolutly helpfull. After we had an accident, he drove us to the hospital, talked with the police etc. We are really thankfull about that!

There was a lot of construction going on, as it was beginning of the season. Not all common areas were available (bar, restaurant, terrace).

Absolutely loved our stay here and if we could have, would have definitely stayed longer. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I felt like a small oasis away from busy Hikkaduwa. The pool was fantastic. The rooms were so comfortable. We had a balcony which was very enjoyable in the evenings or 1st thing in the morning. Great for spotting wildlife. We used Thambili Cafe a few times for breakfast and dinner, which was a wonderful experience and delicious food. We even liked the trains running outside, and felt it added to the experience of being in Sri Lanka. The staff arranged transportation to our next destination, and we would have taken up their offer to use their transportation from the airport had we not already arranged with another company.

Lack of tea/coffee facilities. Kettle, cups in room but no teabags or coffee.

it feels like breakfast should be included for the price which is not the case, their restaurant (3min walk) shuts down after sri lankan new year which left us with limited options in walking distance. property tucked in between railway and street.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and constantly checked on us if we are safe and happy. The place was looked after very well and every little bit of the property was planned and maintained well. Overall top quality place

There was a train track at the back - but this affects the whole area and nothing to do with the hotel The trains aren't very regular but can be a bit noisy especially at night You could hear them right through Hikkaduwa so would be the same No matter where you stayed

Nice small hotel, close to a relatively quite beach at the edge of Hikkaduwa. Pleasant and clean pool area, helpful staff. Hotel is a little out of the way, so hard to get breakfast nearby only real option is the hotels cafe which is about 5 minutes walk away, but easy enough to get a Tuk Tuk to Hikkaduwa for about 500 LKR each way.

Train lines run very close to hotel so in the night you will get woken a few times ( this is however a normal occurrence at a lot of hotels in Hikkaduwa) Bed sheets were not great, this was our most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka so for the price you you would expect a bit better quality. No room cleaning during 4 night stay. Please be aware you need cash to pay here, the room has to be paid for on arrival, they have a card machine but only take cash - we weren’t really prepared for this so best to take note!

It is a perfect and quiet place which is not so crowded as the first line. The hotel has a very nice midsize pool and also space to practice yoga or any sport. Our cabana was very good equipped and clean, it has everything needed. Also the good thing is that it is quite at night so you can rest very well there. Highly recommended and we will come again for sure!

The whole place is beautiful, the pool, jacuzzi, and gardens. Everywhere is so well cared for and spotlessly clean. I stayed in the Queen suite on the top floor, massive balcony with gorgeous sea view. Special shout out to the hosts, the manager, the security chap and the lovely young gardener, they looked after me beautifully. The beach is a 2 minute walk across the road, from there you can walk into the town, long walk but I knew that before I booked, good for your step count ;) Don’t miss out on Thambili Gardens, it’s the nicest place I’ve stayed in 2 months of Sri Lanka.

absolutely nothing

Well worth the price. This place is clearly built on love. The staff is small but attentive and kind, keeping the place clean, and always smiling. We had a great experience. The place is located just across the road from the beach and it is an easy walk to get to open beaches, far enough away for peace from the dance party scene if you want it, but not too far to walk to get there. The manager was helpful and friendly, and helped us by holding our things after our checkout time while we were on scuba. The pool is clean and beautiful, the gardens are well kept, and there is a yoga hall and two sweet dogs that just want to be your friend if you invite them. Highly recommended!

I liked the service, they were all very nice and really very helpful! Room is very comfy, pool is very nice, beautiful place with a nice chill zone. It's very clean and tidy inside and outside.

Close to the quite noisy main road like most of the hotels and close to the train rails. At night it was quiet.
